His professionalism also shows through his dress/appearance (Alan’s the “best dressed” handyman I’ve ever hired) as well as his communication with you about the progress of his work; he does a great job explaining what needs to be done and how he’ll complete the job. Second, he’s a great problem-solver. Just call him the “MacGyver” of handyman services. Several times I’ve witness Alan resolve an issue with a job (most recently, a tile-flooring job) with creativity and ingenuity; he simply won’t quit until he fixes the issue. I believe that this never-quit attitude comes from how Alan told me when I first hired him that he’d complete my work as though it was his own home; and Alan, a.k.a. “MacGyver”, does just that! Finally, Alan is trustworthy. I am a very private individual. But, I’d have no problem leaving Alan alone in my home with my wallet laying out on the kitchen counter. The man is honest and dependable—the kind of person you can have a beer/glass of wine/or a coke with and just talk about life in a friendly way; Alan definitely won’t take advantage of his customers. It’s for all these reasons that I won’t call any other handyman service; if Alan happens to be busy for a few days, I’m willing to wait on him to do my needed work. He’s that great! I ask for a quote on installing a water softener they told me they charge 1100 to 1500 dollars on an install that would take an hour. Normally I pay 400 to 500 dollars for this install. Be careful using this company
