Best Water Heater Repair in Portland OR

My water heater failed in the middle of the night and with multiple people in the house we wanted it replaced quickly. Joe was the first and only person I contacted because he was so quick to respond and reasonably priced.

His message requested I text with photos and has a well detailed set of instructions. Following these allowed him to send me a quote within 10 minutes. He was at the house within 2.5 hours and had the job done in less than 90 minutes. The guy is a pro: well spoken, great to interact with, fast, and very reasonably priced. More people should aim to provide service like this.

Called them about 8am with a waterheater issue. Was called back by 815 with a two hour time window for technician arrival. Bothe people on the phone were pleasant and very helpful and seemed ready to make this process as easy as possible.The tech. Monsae called when hes was 15 or so away, by the way they were almost 75 minites ahead of time window ( good for me). When he and his assistant arrived they listened to my issue and description of problem then went in to investigate. They found waterheater had given up and decided to leak ending it 12 uear career.They took measurements, and took time to ask me what i wanted in new system.They took 15 or 20 min. To come up with 6 different options for replacement. I ultimately chose a standaed heater with booster tank and 12 year service plan. All the options were explaned to me and costs were broken down so they were understandable.Both gentelmen were pleasant and knowledgeable about thier products and craft.They called office had parts in thier wearhouse and had them sent out while they proceeded to remove the old waterheater.After the install they cleaned everything up almost couldnt tell they were here went over my maintenance contract again and made sure i was happy showing me pics and short vids of work that was done.I would highly reccomend Three Mountians Plumbing to anyone, and will be using them in the future as needed. Price was fair ,workmanship was great as was the whole experience with office staff and installers alike.Thank you so much for helping with a home crissis so effectively.

Horrible job doing the repipe. Very expensive and left a huge mess under the house and said they would take the old away. They did not. Had another plumber come out and he thought I had done it. Completely unhappy with this disaster of a job after spending $8000. The piping is just thrown under there with shortcuts everywhere instead of making it look nice. Realized this horrible work after I crawled under the house. They must’ve thought they could leave this disaster thinking I’d never see it. I am very easy to please this is literally the first bad review I’ve ever left anyone.

Sent email on a Sunday to request an appt. Got an email back from Ti that day even though they were closed. He emailed back 6 days before the appt to ask to push it a week out and offered to waive the $149 fee. (shows great respect for my time and money).

Day of: called 90 mins before appt to say he was ahead of schedule and asked if I was free sooner. Showed up, let me walk him through the issue (a clogged kitchen/laundry drain that I had augered out twice before in the last 18 months by another company). I thought we'd have to replace pipes.

Ti explained that he'd like to try to auger again, a conservative and least costly step, because he thought the previous job should have lasted longer. (I really liked that he didn't bad mouth the other company's work - I'm not a fan of that approach. He did explain what he thought may have happened.) He was easy to trust and was able to explain in layman's terms.

He was done with the work in maybe 30 mins (the other times it took an hour or more). He had good news, and felt confident pipes didn't need replacing. (Again, explained why.)

They also have an organic enzyme pipe cleaner (we have used a lot of Drano) that will help treat build up along the way. (He even used a product before he left to help cut down on the unfortunate smell that the clogged drain had created.) Highly recommend these guys for their expertise and customer service. Even if it turned into a pipe replacement, I know who to call now.

Great technician got things repaired quickly and didn't mind looking at a leaky valve when he easily fixed. If you need a good plumbing service call these guys and ask for Tyrone.

This is the absolute worst company ever!! It is ran by a bunch of incompetent morons who don't know how to call people in advance to let them know when they will be to your property; so that you can adjust your work schedule. I was asked what time would I like them to be at my property, so I told them. They stood me up and never showed!!

Terry Massey installed an extensive array of plumbing in our new church building a few years ago. The building is large with multiple bathrooms, kitchen and nursery facilities for young children. Additionally, we did a major redo of many of the water supplies and waste drainage throughout our several acre property, some of which were quite complicated. His work was on time, excellent and has served us well. His demeanor, congeniality and positive attitude made it a pleasure to work with him. I highly recommend his plumbing company for your needs.

Mario is amazing. Very easy to work with. Talks over the phone and tells you how things are in a way you can understand. In my case he came out to unplug the drain to the septic instead he helped us find out our septic tank and showed me that it was full and needed pumped. He didn’t even charge me for the trip although he certainly could have as his service was valuable. I highly recommend Smitty’s if you’re looking for a place where you can quickly get a response from a human who will treat you fairly and do very good work if you need it.

Over the last forty years, I have used Standard Plumbing for all my plumbing requirements. They have replaced water heaters, installed toilets with handicap capabilities, did all the plumbing for my remodeled kitchen. In the kitchen , they installed an Instahot, a garbage disposal, plumbed the dishwasher and brought in water for the refrigerator ice maker and filtered water. When we prepared my in-laws old house for sale they replaced the toilets and did a very difficult replacement of a water heater installed in a small space in one of the bathrooms. They have helped me over the phone a number of times to solve problems that, they determined, I would be able to take care of myself. I called them recently because I suspected a leak in my water service. They led me through a series of steps that helped me determine that the standing water that concerned me was not a leak. I trust Standard Plumbing to take care of me when I need them.

Bought a water heater from them in 2017 and they installed a propane water heater which my natural gas does nit convert to. I called them and the lady was rude and extremely unprofessional, she told me that since they are closing their doors this week and going out do business it doesn't matter. Talked to a very reputable plumbing company Sky Heating, AC, Plumbing and Electrical and they said that is absolutely wrong and why my unit is leaking. Do not work with this company and if you need a plumbing company go to them because unlike Western Plumbing they know what they are doing, they are professional and they actually care about people and the work they do. I will be filing a complaint with the CCB as well as the Attorney General. The least they could do is prorate the cost so we can put it towards a new one since they screwed up.
