We live in a 1940s home in uptown Vancouver that was having sewer problems. We had multiple sewer backups into our basement that was really getting frustrating. We had several plumbers come out and tell us our old pipes were collapsing and being infiltrated with tree roots. Their solution was to dig up our whole backyard and replace the pipes - that were about 9 feet down in some places. The cost of this? Over $15,000 and we would be left with a ruined backyard and the cost to replace all the established trees and landscaping. We started to search for another solution. In our search we came across David at Sewer Renewal. He came out and discovered some things that we didn't know and worked with our neighbors (whom we shared a line behind our house) to do a multi-house job. David and his team were professional and problem solvers. When the first way didn't work they found a second way to fix the problem. They worked with the city of Vancouver to determine which lines to fix and which the city was responsible for while giving us top quality value. Sewer lines are not exciting but what is exciting is knowing we won't be getting back ups into our basement and that our home is resellable in the future. When the pipes in my house were backed up they were the only company I’d trust to do the job. Quick service at a great price. I didn’t get charged more than what they had told me before they started the job.

My toiled clogged over the weekend, and I tried snaking it and plunging, but nothing would work. I called a few companies, and they were all booked out a week. I saw the Anytime Plumbing truck parked in the neighborhood and thought I'd give them a call. They said they could send someone out within the hour!

Zach showed up within the hour as promised, and he had a mask (COVID19 times) and put on his booties to protect my floor and was very professional and friendly. He used a professional snaking tool, and the clog was gone within 5 minutes. He cleaned up and tested it several times, and now everything is working fine.

I was dreading this process of finding a plumber and hoping they could fix it, and it couldn't have been a better experience. I would definitely recommend this company, and they are going into my iPhone as my first contact for my plumbing needs going forward!

This is long overdue, but recently a girlfriend and I had a disagreement over whose plumber was better (No, you need to use MY guy for your next project.) Turns out we both use Terry. The entire crew is lovely, I trust them to give a fair quote and do great work. Bonus points: my cats love them.

Smitty's Sewer was recommended as a company able to deal with a potentially broken storm drain pipe. They were responsive and fitted us into their schedule both for the initial evaluation and for doing the work (turns out we needed to have a rain garden installed to avoid the broken storm drain). In December 2022 when everyone is scheduling into January Smitty's was ready to take on this relatively small job almost immediately. Mario made the whole thing seamless and our larger remodeling plans were not disrupted but greatly helped by his responsiveness. The company was on time, professional, kept the area tidy, communicated well, worked hard, and provided cost effective service. In our two bathroom remodel George replaced all of the plumbing. He found and repaired a mystery leak that had been slowly dripping for years. He replaced all of the tub and shower valves, the toilets and associated installation plumbing, and all of the faucets and sink plumbing. He also fixed an additional shower that had dripped for years because the valve was shot.
George's communication is top notch. We always knew when to expect him and he always showed up when he said he would. He was incredibly respectful of our home offices and didn't interfere with our workday. His work is done correctly, the first time, every time. It was truly a pleasure every time he showed up. He's the only subcontractor on this project that I can say all of this about. I will definitely call GLS for future plumbing needs.

After hiring them twice, I highly recommend Pipeline Plumbing. Although the work was not complicated the gentleman that did the job was knowledgeable, professional and polite. The initial job was to replace the bathroom toilet. This was done efficiently, the old toilet was taken away and he even asked me if I wanted a soft-close toilet lid! I must be a country bumpkin because I had no idea there was such a thing--and I love it. The second work was a dishwasher, garbage disposal, sink and faucet disconnect and reconnect as part of a kitchen refresh. Again, Pipeline sent the same gentleman the second time which was a pleasant surprise (I like the continuity). To my relief, he helped me work through a couple issues with the sink and the work was done as promised.
I would definitely hire Pipeline Plumbing for future work when I do the bathroom remodel. Great people, great service and local too.
