Best Water Heater in Portland OR

I called at 9am and Joe was at my house at 5:30pm to squeeze me in. Very nice guy, very responsive to my questions before and during the appointment, competitive pricing, and just excellent work. If you're looking for a local company to support, this is the one. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Joe!

Always fast, courteous service!

I called 3 Mountains Plumbing to take a look at a leak from my bathroom. They answered the phone on a Saturday! Scheduling was easy. Klint came out for the job - he was professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. He gave me several options for fixing it, price ranges for each option, and also explained everything very clearly. Before he left, he made sure all my questions were answered and that I was satisfied. I found this company to be honest, proficient and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our water heater tank started leaking on Thursday,I called to Sutherland plumbing later in the evening,received a call in the morning asking to send pictures of our tank and answered some questions. I had a quote 10 minutes later and received a call from Ti shortly after. His quote was very reasonably priced. Ti was at our house within an our and did an outstanding job! He went above and beyond our expectations, added additional valves,put depressurizing tank and made sure that tank stands sturdy in case of earthquake by putting extra planks on the wall.
I wish we found Sutherland Plumbing earlier. We are very happy with the service,communication and quality of work!

The person who answers your call is friendly too.
But fees are too high in my opinion. And they charge just to come check something out. Even if they were the ones who did the service a couple weeks before. You get a year workmanship warranty from them. But if you have any questions or concerns. They'll charge you to come take a look. And you will only not be charged IF they found a problem that they can't say isn't from them.
I don't agree with how they deal with their business. Of course it's nice for them as a company but you feel cheated out of your money as a customer.
Also unfortunately you have to be available in a 4 hour window. You can't schedule a time any closer, but you can call like an hour before your scheduled 4 hour window and see when they will arrive approximately.

Id only recommend them if you have an emergency and there isn't any other services available. I believe they are available 24 hrs a day for emergencies. Their prices are only worth it if it is an emergency imo.

Calling around for estimates on a problem usually leads to really widely under priced suggested totals. River City is the difference. After getting the parking lot taken care of, we only paid what they said we would. That is amazing!

Grew up wrestling Terry Massey’s Son at the age of 10 and ended up becoming brothers along the way, Not only is Terry Massey one of the most hard working dedicated fathers but he is an amazing teacher. He took me under his wing and had me working under crawl spaces doing repipe work for a short time, Taught me a lot of things I still use to this day. Terry Massey holds true to his values and has only earned a honest dollar his entire life. I’ve never heard profanity out of his mouth nor words of discouragement. Very poor workmanship, failed to connect drains to sewer line, failed 3 final inspections, scratched new tub, left gaps around finish piping, left foam residue on new tile floor. I would not recommend hiring this company.
