Sent email request on their website first thing in the morning and got a call back in minutes, confirming details, then dispatcher called in under 15 min and said a truck could be there in an hour. Nicholas called to confirm and showed up when expected and was very kind and talked us through everything, which he fixed quickly.I didn't get the discount I hoped for but this was all explained before any work was done and it was a lot cheaper than a competitor I used last time.My wife and I appreciated the photos they texted us of Nicholas so we knew who to expect. We thought it odd at first because we've never had another company do that, but after a little thought we really appreciated it as a nice pro-active customer friendly approach. We'd use 3 Mtn again.

I contacted David and the crew because other contractors failed to show up for their appointments. Now I wished I had contacted Sewer Renewal Specialists first. Not only were they expedient and timely in coming to inspect my sewer line but they promptly arranged for the repairs, applied for the permits with the city, and arrived on time and completed the repairs ahead of schedule. Now I know this next part will be hard to believe but they completed the repairs UNDER the bid price! I have rarely if ever had such a great experience in what could have been a potential disaster. Thank you David for everything you did to make it all happen they way you said it would. You are a man of your word and your business deserves all the praise I can send your way.

Portland Star Plumbing was easy to work with, prompt, and very professional. They fixed a long-standing problem (incorrectly plumbed utility sink). Both service technicians observed COVID guidelines and cleaned up after themselves. We we’re very pleased, and will be hiring them to do a big job—all the plumbing for a new, above-garage apartment—this spring!

I had a water heater go out unexpectedly and called Sutherland at the suggestion of a colleague. Ti called me back within a few hours (even though I was told I'd have to wait till the next day) and was at the house the next morning. He and his partner worked all day to get my old heater removed, the abysmal plumbing done by the previous contractor taken out and replaced, and everything reinstalled and up to code and looking good. When I went down there the next day in the daylight to lock up I found they even cleaned all the leaves and debris off my lower deck on their own initiative. I know who to call for my next plumbing job.

Scheduling:
The schedule window they force you to wait is 4 hours and the plumber never contacts me before he comes.

Pricing:
Requested a plumber to come to install a pressure release pipe to my water heater which is $69 for the on-site fee and $125 for the material and installation fee. After the guy came out, looked for 3 mins, and told me the pipe needed to go outside of the house (even though I told him what I need and want), afterward, I received a bill for a $69 on-site fee, $75 diagnostic fee (for 3 mins that he looks), and $289 installation + material fee.

Conclusion:
Expect to wait at least 3+ hours for someone to show up without notice and expect you will be paying at least twice much when you receive your bill no matter what your quote is

We are not on city sewer and have a septic tank with a warning alarm where we live. The alarm was tripped on a Sunday afternoon and we knew we either needed the tank pumped or maybe our pump failed. We experienced this before and knew we needed to get service ASAP. Monday morning I called PDX Sewer Solutions to help us out. Rob took my call and discuss options with me. He came over quickly (within 1-2 hours) to take a look and assess our situation. He was able to what we needed and he helped us right away. Rob was so kind and easy to work with. He explained everything in detail and the price was lower than other companies we have used in the past. I am an extremely happy customer and they will be my first call the next time we need service. I highly recommend PDX Sewer Solutions and will be a happy return customer.

Had a slow leak detected between shutoff valve and the meter. Not an emergency. Leaking PVC pipe was about 18 underground. Terry showed up on time, outlined the likely process. He and David took care of the problem in a few hours. Met / exceeded all hopes and expectations. On time, honest, good communicators. Highly recommended. Will be our first option for future plumbing needs.

Vitaliy located the leak and then provided several options for fixing it. He was very responsive and good at communicating with me. He arrived when he said he would and had us fixed within the hour.

We had a new toilet installed by Mr. Rooter, and, as usual, the work was done in a very timely and efficient Manner. Jason Belcher and Aisha Winters were friendly and happy to explain what was happening.I happily recommend Mr. Rooter.

Great service great prices and great Construction Services

I had a plumber come out for a non-emergency slow leak, and they were able to get to me very quickly. They came out just a few days after my call and the plumber was very polite and professional. Also very fast! The job was done in no time and cost very little. I was very pleased with their service and will definitely call them again if something comes up.

Happy’s Plumbing did over $6,000 of work at our home on two separate projects. We currently do not have a labor warranty on their work and reached out to them after 18 months to take a look at an issue with the first project where a 12’ steel vent pipe they cut was not secured properly and the ABS pipe below it was bearing the brunt of its weight, contorting the plumbing lines beneath it. See attached pictures. They told us they will not come out because they make no money fixing things for us. This is a critical issue that needs attention, and they will not take responsibility. Don’t hire them unless you want to work with a company that doesn’t believe in fixing its mistakes and blames the customer for being difficult.

They have had to return to our home before to fix a leaking main shut off valve and to correct their poorly installed water heater connection after a $4,000+ project to replace all our steel water supply lines with PEX. Even then, their ownership had issues fixing their mistakes while the work was still under warranty.

I want to warn future customers against working with Happy’s Plumbing. They are not customer friendly and have an aversion to detail and fixing issues they caused.
