Best Repair Water Heater in Portland OR

Our water heater failed and we were in need of a replacement in a timely fashion. We reached out to three different plumbers for quotes and Joe provided the best combination of professionalism, responsiveness, and price certainty. We sent him a few pictures of our setup, and he provided an all in price in minutes. Others only provided starting at estimates, while informing us that the costs could go up depending on what was found when they arrived.

At 3 pm, we informed Joe of our decision to move forward with his services. By 5 pm, he and his colleague (Dallas) were at our door and ready to get started. A little over 2 hours later, Joe and Dallas had removed the old unit, installed the new one, and completed the plumbing upgrades which were required to bring our substandard configuration up to code. Joe and Dallas were both extremely friendly, professional, and top-notch craftsman.

If you want an outstanding plumber to replace your water heater at a great price, stop looking...Joe's your guy!

Nothing but good things to say. The original work was done in a timely manner and done well. They came out to CCTV the line quickly and got us scheduled for a few weeks out. Work was completed on time. Communication was great. Everything was perfect. Then my neighbor had issues on our shared lateral and I called David to ask if my repair could have impacted their connection. He came right out on his anniversary (Happy Anniversary!) and checked the line, ensuring he didn't cause the damage, and even helped my neighbors diagnose where their issue was. He came right out and said these are the things that would keep me up at night, I just had to be sure it wasn't something I did. Awesome service and he truly cares about his business and customers. Not always easy to find. I'd recommend these folks to anyone looking.

Sutherland just replaced my main water supply line. The old line from the meter to the house had a leak. They were able to get a crew on the job the day after I called. Their team explained my options, then did a great job replacing the water main. They also ended up replacing our 20 year old water heater... all done in one day. The crew was easy to work with, were very professional, and did a great job cleaning up after the job was done. I couldn't be happier with their work. I highly recommend Sutherland.

Not only is this company twice as expensive as anybody else around, but they will not take responsibility for faulty work. They almost caused a flooding of sewer material at our facility, by using parts not rated for this kind of application. When we tried to contact them about the problems, they flat out denied they had done the work. Even though we have before and after pictures and videos. Very unprofessional behavior, and they refused to even come out and look at the problems they had caused. I will certainly recommend to anybody to steer clear of this company.

I had a stubborn, Drano-resistant, home snake-resistant, ego bruising kitchen sink clog that was working my last nerve. The first place I called was Anytime Plumbing -because they're listed as a woman owned business - but lucked out and got the best plumbing company in PDX. They had a same day appointment available! Zack was here on time and of course he took care of the problem in about 20 minutes. Everything from the initial phone call to paying the bill was easy. I will recommend Anytime Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Service to anyone who will listen.

Terry and his crew did a marvelous job replacing a broken ice-maker water line and even did complete clean-up of area. The cost to me was more than fair, I highly recommend Terry.

We Remodeled a house project with them. I liked them, but they installed a water mixer on top of the hot water heater that made the tank stack and trip the shut off, so no hot water. Upon calling them, Western stated they don't repair anything related to the hot water heater and had me call a hot water heater repair company. Two months later as this had been going on the, hot water repair company finally figured out that Western had improperly installed the water mixer on top of the tank. The repair company did then fix the issue by removing the part. The repair company then charged me for the work. I told them they should be charging Western Plumbing and you would think that Western would stand behind their installation. After arguing with the owner of Western Plumbing about it he refuse to pay them, stating the county required the mixer even though they knew it would be a problem ( no one told me ) The plumbing contract was well over 35K and the charge for repair was 150.00. As a sub-contractor, business owner myself, I would think they would take care of the bill with out complaint. Not impressed and will let others know my experience,
