We had 6 water supply lines replaced (just the connectors from the wall valve to the faucet). The first estimate was $717 ($747 with the estimation fee, see attached images). I thought the estimate seemed high at the time, and asked about it. The plumber realized he had accidentally charged us for one too many supply lines and decreased the estimate down to $634 ($664 with the estimation). That's what we paid, $664. I thought more about it afterwards and it still seemed high. We were charged $83 for each line, and the first was even more expensive. I looked them up online and Amazon has them for $5.38. The entire job took less than 1 hour. Absolutely absurd. I reached out for an explanation and was told someone would contact me within a week. I received no contact, so I asked again and was assured someone would contact me in the next business day. No response. At that point I gave up.

David was very helpful and professional. I had a mystery drain problem in an old house. He helped me identify the problem and solution options. He was easy to communicate with, on time for appointments, and very kind and easy to work with. Ultimately my project was beyond the scope of his business, but he helped me contact the next professional to finish the job right.

Portland Star Plumbing was easy to work with, prompt, and very professional. They fixed a long-standing problem (incorrectly plumbed utility sink). Both service technicians observed COVID guidelines and cleaned up after themselves. We we’re very pleased, and will be hiring them to do a big job—all the plumbing for a new, above-garage apartment—this spring!

Horrible job doing the repipe. Very expensive and left a huge mess under the house and said they would take the old away. They did not. Had another plumber come out and he thought I had done it. Completely unhappy with this disaster of a job after spending $8000. The piping is just thrown under there with shortcuts everywhere instead of making it look nice. Realized this horrible work after I crawled under the house. They must’ve thought they could leave this disaster thinking I’d never see it. I am very easy to please this is literally the first bad review I’ve ever left anyone.

I am so happy I found Sutherland Plumbing. We've had them out for a couple of jobs before (replacing an ancient water heater, installing a pressure valve on our supply line) and they just came through again for us.

We had a tile company out to install a new bathroom floor and in the demo yesterday, we found that the toilet had been leaking. In addition the supply line valve wouldn't close completely so we had water continuing to leak. They sent Sean out here the next day and he not only fixed the leaking valve, but also figured out a sturdy, temporary way to install the toilet on the subfloor while also raising the flange so that it will be the appropriate height once the tile is installed.

We only have one bathroom in our house so if he hadn't been willing/able to make it work, we would have no toilet until we could get the tile installers back out.

I have confidence in the work they do, which is really important as I plan to live in this house for the long haul and I want things done correctly. Plus, everyone I've dealt with has been really nice and they explain things to me that are helpful to know as a home owner (without treating me like I should already know these things). They have earned my loyalty.

Is good service.

Once, when we were looking into moving we walked on to a property that had an overflowing leach field. It was disgusting and we didn't know what it was at the time. River City was good about answering questions even though I wasn't about to be a customer at that point. Since then we did purchase a home with a septic system. They have been good about assessing it for us and I'm glad I know where to call if we ever end up with a leach field issue.

On time and did a very good job. Finding a plumber that would/could do this job in a timely manner was hard but these guys did. Great experience.

Rob and his son were extremely professional and responsive. We had a challenging (in my opinion) problem where we were losing water somewhere between the house and water meter. Rob came out immediately and started work shortly after that and was there for 3 days until it was done. Even after some unexpected things happened, he came up with solutions and left everything looking better than it did before. Rob is a cool dude and a good human. There is no question that this is the guy you go with.

Terry Massey plumbing just fixed a problem with my kitchen faucet. They did so quickly, efficiently, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor. I appreciate their expertise and help.

Mario @ Smittys Sewer Repair replaced part of my sewer line, and then ran CIPP through the rest of the sewer line. They made sure the tree roots were gone before they continued their work. The men on the crew were efficient, friendly and professional. They cleaned up as they did the work. They were usually early each morning. Plus they advised me at each step of the way what they were doing and when they would be doing the work. I would highly recommend them.

Over the last forty years, I have used Standard Plumbing for all my plumbing requirements. They have replaced water heaters, installed toilets with handicap capabilities, did all the plumbing for my remodeled kitchen. In the kitchen , they installed an Instahot, a garbage disposal, plumbed the dishwasher and brought in water for the refrigerator ice maker and filtered water. When we prepared my in-laws old house for sale they replaced the toilets and did a very difficult replacement of a water heater installed in a small space in one of the bathrooms. They were the first to call about our need for service. They were professional courteous covid concerned. They were the most reasonable quote allowing for senior discount and cash discount. Saved us almost 300$ from the next service estimate. Installed a gas hot water heater. Then cleaned up the area and answered many question. Would certainly use them for any new problem. Excellent.
