I wanted to check the condition of the cast iron drainage pipes under the concrete basement of my 60 year old house. David was able to visually inspect all the lines under the house and most of the way to the septic tank via the vents on the (low pitch) roof. He found that everything was in good shape with the exception of a couple of lines that needed cleaning.
David, and his assistant, did an excellent job for a very nice price.

Smitty's Sewer was recommended as a company able to deal with a potentially broken storm drain pipe. They were responsive and fitted us into their schedule both for the initial evaluation and for doing the work (turns out we needed to have a rain garden installed to avoid the broken storm drain). In December 2022 when everyone is scheduling into January Smitty's was ready to take on this relatively small job almost immediately. Mario made the whole thing seamless and our larger remodeling plans were not disrupted but greatly helped by his responsiveness. The company was on time, professional, kept the area tidy, communicated well, worked hard, and provided cost effective service. Tim from Standard Plumbing & Heating gave us excellent service! He was very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done right! He was able to diagnose that the leak in our bathroom was coming from the wax seal under the toilet, replaced & repaired it. Tim also took a looked at & replaced the guts of both of our toilets, which he explained needed to be done, in an understandable way and saved us money in the long run. Tim also didn’t leave a mess big mess behind, which I always appreciate. We will definitely call them in he future for all of our plumbing needs!

It’s Saturday afternoon-I walked into the garage to discover water dripping from the garage ceiling onto the hood of my car-eek! Who to call? I had no idea so just called two I had heard of-neither could accommodate our emergency. The last, Diligent, was the only one able to accommodate us same day. They came out, found our issue & fixed us up pretty quick. We’re very happy, and now we have a “go-to” plumber when the need arises. Save yourself aggravation w/the larger companies by calling Diligent Plumbing first!

As everyone knows, there are a lot of places where they overcharge and the workers must enforce the company policies. The owner of Aaa, Steve Hill, is very personable, respectful, and knows how to run a business. His prices are fair and I felt like he wasn't taking advantage of my lack of knowledge of drainage. He showed me where the problem was and he gave me many options on solutions with a range of most expensive to the least and how long it would last. He definitely has my business and he has earned my trust, which is hard to do. Thank you Steve!

We had a clog down our drain pipe for our washer and Jeff got it sorted out in a few minutes. We tried getting it unclogged with a rented equipment from Home Depot ourselves but with no success. You gotta let the professional, Jeff in this case, do what he do best.

I have used These guys on 3 plumbing projects, both for myself and aging parents. Each time, they did great work, on time, and with no drama.

Mike and his guys were knowledgeable about products (water heaters) and gave great advice about a tankless heater that fit the bill perfectly. All of the crew was nice to deal with, showed up on time, and left the job site clean and neat.

There was one problem-the computer gizmo that controls the new water heater went out shortly after the install. The board was replaced within a day of calling, no drama, no questions, no charge and even an apology-even though it wasn’t their fault.

Are they the cheapest? No idea, but the work was certainly priced within my expectations. They will be my first call for all future plumbing projects.

I had a few plumbing problems and I called All Pro Plumbing to see if they could help me. Everyone I talked to on the phone was wonderful and they got someone out to see me the next day. The day of the appointment, Art (the plumber) called me about a half hour before the appointment just to let me know he was on his way. He was right on time, took great care in everything he did, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. I could not be happier with the service they provided. Quick and efficient plus a one year warranty on service!

Things started out great. But ended in the worst experience I have ever had with someone doing work in my home, and left me feeling unsafe.

My husband set up the appointment and I was there alone with my two toddler-age kids when the two employees arrived. They were kind and congenial. In fact, one offered to show me how he installed something so I could do it myself on a different tub if desired. Great service. When the employee was finished, my husband called the employee with some questions about the bill. If you care, they were rate-related questions detailed below. If not, skip to next paragraph:

One question was about the rate we were charged being different than the rate agreed upon by phone beforehand (Which Paul, the boss, confirmed when he finally listened.) The second question was about how much time he was logging. He was charging us for time filling out the invoice, for example. (A previous plumber we used had the invoice and payment ready within sixty seconds. This plumber took 15 minutes out in the car after he finished the work. Seems nitpicky... but really adds up at $160 an hr. When you consider we are being charged for transportation time to the site, that means we are paying a total of $75 for time they are not doing plumbing work).

At the end of the conversation my husband asked to talk to Paul to verify the rate. Meanwhile, I had no idea what is going on, but within about sixty seconds into the phone conversation, I hear the employee downstairs yelling on the phone to my husband. I was upstairs in my bedroom with my two young children. The employee then called his boss and was ranting loudly about my husband as the employee walked up the stairs to my bedroom. At that point, this large male who was speaking loudly and aggressively was standing in my bedroom between me and the door, about five feet away from me and my children, both of whom were wide-eyed staring at the man yelling about my husband. I motioned and quietly asked him to please finish the conversation downstairs. He did not stop or move and instead said loudly into the phone Now they're both suddenly unsatisfied.

Honestly this is a major safety issue. The employee was so congenial and appropriate up until that point, and escalated so quickly that I wondered if he has an anger management issue. Here are a few rules that I should not have to tell you: Do not walk up the stairs to my bedroom while you're yelling on the phone. Do not stand in my bedroom, between me and the doorway while yelling on the phone. If a female with young children in tow, politely asks you (a stranger acting aggressively and unpredictably) to leave her bedroom, you say Oh my goodness, of course. You do not argue with her.

I probably wouldn't even be writing this review, if I had gotten a response from Paul (the boss and owner) that indicated he understood the gravity of the problem. Instead, Paul was defensive. His first response to me when I told him what was happening was settle down and then well yeah, he was upset because your husband wasn't paying the bill (This is not at all true. The employee told my husband he'd have to talk to Paul to verify what rate was quoted and then he hung up on my husband. There was no threat whatsoever of not paying, and Paul jumped to this conclusion before even talking to my husband.). Once I told Paul it would be really wise to just listen well and recognize that this is an important safety issue and that the employee needs to take responsibility for his actions regardless of whoever is making him mad on the phone, he finally said okay, okay, he understood and would reprimand the employee.

Frankly, it seemed pretty clear to me that Paul didn't see it as a serious issue. That is concerning. He was apparently more apologetic to my husband and said they have all be working really hard and are tired. I hope indeed this was an anomaly, but we won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them.
