Best Leak Repair in Portland OR

Joe did an AMAZING job! We had found out today that our water heater had been leaking, possibly for at least a day or two, and no one noticed. We called Joe based on a recommendation from a friend. Joe’s text-based communication was quick, concise, and led us to getting a quote which was fantastic. Even though we had just contacted him, he was able to come out and perform a same-day replacement of our broken water heater. He was personable and friendly which made the experience that much better. Especially since our water heater sits behind PVC pipe that can make installation of a new one more annoying than usual (you can see it blocking part of the bottom of the newly installed water heater in the picture). I highly recommend him as it was quality work for a last minute call.

Over the last forty years, I have used Standard Plumbing for all my plumbing requirements. They have replaced water heaters, installed toilets with handicap capabilities, did all the plumbing for my remodeled kitchen. In the kitchen , they installed an Instahot, a garbage disposal, plumbed the dishwasher and brought in water for the refrigerator ice maker and filtered water. When we prepared my in-laws old house for sale they replaced the toilets and did a very difficult replacement of a water heater installed in a small space in one of the bathrooms. They have helped me over the phone a number of times to solve problems that, they determined, I would be able to take care of myself. I called them recently because I suspected a leak in my water service. They led me through a series of steps that helped me determine that the standing water that concerned me was not a leak. Beyond outstanding service. We spotted a leak in our ceiling on a Thursday evening. GLS got us onto their schedule the next day. The crew worked quickly and thoroughly to identify the source of the leak and get it fixed for us.
