Best Gas Water Heater in Portland OR

One Friday afternoon, I came home to a slow drip from my water heater. By Saturday morning I had a bigger and better water heater, beautifully installed, for a good bit less than what the big stores wanted to charge. On top of the fast turnaround, fair price, quality tank, and professional install -- on a weekend no less, Joe was a pleasure to deal with. The whole process was downright enjoyable, and made me glad to support another great local business.

We had these guys come and inspect our newly purchased home, & to give us a rundown of it’s status, our options, and estimates. Paul and Jean Marc were great, and really were outstanding as a team. I feel they went above and beyond to ensure the feedback they were about to provide was accurate. They were polite, hard working, very thorough, but most importantly honest. I never felt like they were pushing further service on us. They understood our financial restrictions and gave us several options for pricing, as well as how long we could likely hold out. Being first time home buyers who already surpassed our budget, it was a relief to know we could take some time to build our nest egg back up. I’d also like to mention how polite and patient they were. After my wife came home as they were about to leave, they were more than happy to run through everything again with her. We’ll be getting our work done with them this year, and couldn’t feel better about it.

Cameron & Jack installed 2 new toilets that we purchased from Sutherland for us and were very professional, clean, and efficient. We love our new toilets and would highly recommend Sutherland and will be using them for any other plumbing needs that arise!

Tyrone and his assistant (didn’t get his name) were great to work with. Explained what needed to be done and about how long it would take. In and out in a timely manner and were both personable and professional.

Second time I've had Terry out to do work. First was to replace the drain under a sink and the second was to replace a broken water main. Both times I've been very satisfied with the work as well as the price. I highly recommend TMP!

I had a pipe break and called them at 7:30 in the morning. They responded within minutes and came to my house that same day. Diagnosed the problem quickly (broken pipe under a concrete slab) and quickly capped the old pipe and created a new line. Solved my headache in a few hours and they were affordable and professional.

Great service great prices and great Construction Services

We had a clog down our drain pipe for our washer and Jeff got it sorted out in a few minutes. We tried getting it unclogged with a rented equipment from Home Depot ourselves but with no success. You gotta let the professional, Jeff in this case, do what he do best.

Appointment was made over the phone with a live person that spoke perfect English. 10 minutes before they arrived I received a text indicating they were just 10min away. Johnny arrived and got right to work. Evaluating the situation and reviewing the faucet we had to replaced. On the phone an estimate of 1hr was given to me with the rates. Johnny prepped the area to work. Kept his tools close by as he worked. Showed me the things I should keep and things I can dispose. 54min later (6min ahead of estimated time) he was finished. Charged my credit card the estimated rate and all were happy especially my wife

Central Air upgraded our AC unit and our tankless hot water heater both are worth the added expense. Lower energy bills and the upgrades yielded units that were better suited to our homes square footage. Did our yearly check and Chris evaluated our HVAC, wrapped compressor, caught and fixed small gas leak and cleaned units. Great job really nice people.

Bob put in a bidet for us and changed out the non working toilet parts with ones that flush great! He is the nicest guy and does great work!!! He is so good he got a tip!!!

Bought a water heater from them in 2017 and they installed a propane water heater which my natural gas does nit convert to. I called them and the lady was rude and extremely unprofessional, she told me that since they are closing their doors this week and going out do business it doesn't matter. Talked to a very reputable plumbing company Sky Heating, AC, Plumbing and Electrical and they said that is absolutely wrong and why my unit is leaking. Do not work with this company and if you need a plumbing company go to them because unlike Western Plumbing they know what they are doing, they are professional and they actually care about people and the work they do. I will be filing a complaint with the CCB as well as the Attorney General. The least they could do is prorate the cost so we can put it towards a new one since they screwed up.

First time a plumber came out, he said I needed additional services. Second time, the plumber said he needed additional help and I needed additional services that would take two people all day.
Third time, they did indeed take all day, with one plumber being hours late.
After that, I had a strange smell coming from my crawlspace. I called in, and the person who answered said that something had probably died down there and that I should check my crawlspace.
I called a different plumbing company, whose rep found that 4-5 rubber gloves had been forcibly inserted into my pipes by Happy's plumbers.
I've emailed Happy's twice, and my warranty company has called them once with no response. Figured I should inform the public, since I've given them since October to respond.
