Best Drain Cleaning in Portland OR

Recently, I had a big problem with my bedroom toilet from roots. I called Burfitt Plumbing and was very fortunate how fast the technician took care of the problem. The guy ROCKED!

He was very informative, explained everything he was doing, and answered all of my questions. The price was well worth it.

This is the second time Mr. Rooter has bailed us out. Brian Buelt quickly solved our low pressure problem and provided us with quotes for a longer term project. Great company and employees!

Steve was the upmost professional. I wanted to ensure my drains would either be cleared, or at least troubleshoot a bit as to what was going on. I had sent away a competitor the week prior to finding Steve and AAA drain cleaning. The gentleman that showed up for the 1st business clearly didn't care whether the job was completed to a high standard nor seem interested in troubleshooting the issue. He wanted to hydrojet and move on. Steve was immediately very helpful, very straightforward about the process, and super knowledgeable and willing to do the work to diagnose the problem. He's just a great guy. You can tell he cares about the work he's doing. Highly recommend.

Shane and Mike have been to my house twice now. The first time we had a slow drain for the laundry and kitchen that was backing up into a basement floor drain. They took care of it quickly and also sorted out a bathroom sink that was slow. They were quick to come out and the cost was very reasonable.

The second time we had a shower drain that had stopped completely. Shane came out to fix it and couldn't get the clean out open. Not surprising since the plumbing is over 70 years old. He removed a large section of drain pipe that was too small to begin with and replaced it with the correct size all the way to the main drain pipe. They did and excellent job and I would happily use them again, as well as refer them to my neighbors and friends.

Yesterday afternoon I found that water was dripping onto the burner of my gas water heater (evidently from a crack in the tank). So I called All Pro ASAP and left a message.

First this morning, I got a call back. The price I was quoted was more than acceptable, so I said, Come on down.

Nicholas was here less than 3 hours later. He is very professional and competent. (And a nice guy, too!)

The bottom line is, less than 24 hours after I left the message, I had a working water heater!

You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone who can top that.

I don't ususally write reviews at all, much less negative ones. But I am so appalled by my experience with this company... A technician came out to fix our garbage disposal. Looked down in to it for like 15 seconds, got on his ipad and said it would be over $500 to fix and that we should just replace it for over $1000. The disposal is just a year old! So I had someone else out, he got under the sink and fixed it five minutes. Didn't want to charge us at all. I called to inform the company and the person at the call center was extremely patronizing and just kept making excuses. Completely unacceptable. Beware of extreme upselling with this company!

Gave these guys a call this morning around 10am, by 3pm they had someone at my house to assess the situation. Turns out my water heater was so old it made no sense to repair it and it was time for a new one. Oh great, I thought... Gunna be a few more days...nope! Zach, the guy who took the job, was on top of it and wanted to make sure I could take a hot shower tonight. He left to go get a brand new unit, showed back up to unload the new one and darn it.... The manufacturer sent them a banged up item! He wouldn't have it, and went to get another one so he knew I was getting a good product. I appreciate that he valued doing a good job so highly. Took the time to teach me all about my new water heater, and left after going above and beyond. Plus he just seemed like an awesome guy. Karissa, the awesome lady who helped get someone to me so fast this morning was lovely as well. I truly didn't expect that from phone call to install would only take hours, but this team was on top of the ball! Highly recommend them!

Warm and friendly small business plumbing outfit (I prefer small/medium businesses over bigger ones) that was recommended to me from a commercial plumber and I very pleased with my decision to have work done by this company, Linda emailed me the quote and receipt for my records and happy to say In the end, the quoted price was the same as the actual price.

Fast, friendly, and on budget

Same-day service from a friendly and competent professional who didn't talk down to me and was kind to my kid & dog. Saw me wearing a mask and immediately went to mask up too (thank you, I'm immunocompromised) -- and happily went to work. They didn't settle with just making the offending toilet flush again -- they told us what happened and why, and let us know what they noticed might be a sign of trouble down the road without trying to upsell. We will absolutely be calling again when we need a plumber.
ETA: they were right about future trouble, and came back to diagnose and give us some solid advice and recommendations to follow up. Same great experience as the first time. Not afraid to roll up their sleeves and they didn't charge for diagnostics.
It's very nice to have a professional explain what's going on without condescension or scare tactics or pressure to get more services. I appreciate all the help!

One of the worst plumbing companies I have ever worked with. Very unprofessional. I had the worst experience with one of the workers named Nolan. If you get him on your job your better off figuring it out on your own Thur YouTube. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

When looking for repairs to you home honesty is the most important thing. I have done business with him three different times in less than a year. He has always taken time for me and delivered on what he said he would do.

What a great experience, they fixed my problem with expert experience.

My kitchen sink stopped working in September, so I called these guys because Jack came highly recommended. They sent two youngsters to work on it and another project. They took the other project apart and left parts strewn about for my roommate to trip over, then said they would have to come back another day to finish the job.

Today I got tired of them waiting.

If you want someone to fix your problem promptly and neatly, go somewhere else.

I've gone through his services via Choice Home Warranty for a leaking Garbage Disposal issue. I had to go through so much of pain dealing with him. He neither responds to customers timely nor stand by his commitments. At the same time, he's extremely rude... at one point of time, he said if he should steal something from a store.
