I had Roto Rooter out this past Sunday because my main drain was backed up to the point where water was backing up into my basement and garage. When the guy from Roto Rooter came out he attempted to snake the drain, told us that it was too backed up to do anything about, and then proceeded to tell me that my driveway would have to be dug up for the pipe to be replaced. He told me that it would be 5200 to repair, looked at me and my boyfriend, and asked us how we wanted to proceed so he could get it scheduled. Obviously we wanted a second opinion.

I called Jerry on Monday and scheduled time for him to come out on Wednesday morning. He brought a much better machine, hooked it all up and in what seemed like no time at all he said that it felt like the blockage was cleared. He then went to the different drains in the basement and garage and put a hose down them to clear the gunk that had backed up as a result of the main line. Flushed toilets (and fixed the one in the basement that wasn't working!!), had me run a load of laundry, we ran water from the bathroom upstairs etc., all so that he felt confident that our problem was resolved.

On top of all that, Jerry was probably one of the nicest, most personable people that I've ever had out to perform repairs at my home. I would recommend him to anyone! I felt comfortable with his work, would trust his word, and put all my plumbing needs in his hands. He could have easily told me that there was a bigger issue like RR had said, quoted me a lower price than 5200, and i would have been none the wiser and thought great, i saved some money at least. But he didn't, instead he helped us out and got us fixed for barely a fraction of what we were initially told.

This company was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t have asked for more. I had a big issue with my sewer and had to have my sewer dug up in the basement and repaired. They were on time, did a great job and did not stop until the job was done. Great communication as the job continued. They did a great job cleaning up, and are very trustworthy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with plumbing issues. I couldn’t be more thankful for their work.

David was fantastic. He came quickly, explained everything clearly and didn't even charge for stopping by. Two days later, I had decided on what to do and called him to come back. This is the third time I have called k-plumbing in 4 years. Every time I call the response time is unmatched. When you need a plumber it is usally for an emergency. Every time they are there within two hours. I have met a lot of plumbers and by far this company is the best to deal with from pricing to timely completion of work. This company was very accommodating to me and my family in our time of need when our furnace broke!!! They were kind and extremely helpful and I will be using them from now on for all of my HVAC needs !!!!!

They are by far the most cost-effective company I've worked with until now. I hired them for a sewer inspection, they got the results to me within a few hours of the inspection when I informed them about a hard time-limit I had for contingency to end. Very easy to work with and efficient at what they do.

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

I found out I had a gas leak in my home around 11am in the morning. The gas company obviously shut the gas off until the leak could be identified and and the line could be repaired. I immediately started calling places because it’s been so cold out and knew it could get to zero or below at night. Orion Plumbing called me back immediately sent someone out within an hour or so. He quickly found the issue and spent all day replacing the outside pipe leading into the house (snow on the ground and temperature between 15 and 20) so that the gas company could come back out before it got dark so we’d have heat overnight. He was so nice, letting me know every step of the way what he was doing. He even stayed until the gas company came to make sure everything was alright, and tested the furnace, stove, and hot water tank to make sure they were all working correctly before he left. Knowing this is a ridiculously busy season for them, I don’t have words to express how grateful I am that they came out to fix it that day. Fady, the owner who was also busy, stopped to bring supplies, and was also extremely nice. I really can’t say enough good things, but would definitely recommend them, and I will be using them for any plumbing concerns I have in the future.

Chris performed a back flow test at our 2 buildings and it was very easy to set up. He was quick and affordable. Highly recommend for this or any other plumbing!

They did great work replacing my gas service line and they did it quickly and professionally. All at a very reasonable able price!

This company is great! Selling my house and needed to have the sewer line repaired. They came on time, were very neat and left the premises in great order. From Teal in the office to Jordan, Dutch and Steve who did the entire installation I couldn't be more pleased. They treated my home like it was their own. After an emergency plumber(chain) was a no-show on Sunday, I called Pittsburgh Best Monday morning. I asked if someone could come by around 2:30 and at 2:25 they pulled in. Both guys were courteous and quick and came prepared with an arsenal of equipment and the main line was unclogged before 3pm. I highly recommend going local and would gladly use them again.

Alan was very friendly, polite and wonderful to work with! He worked quickly and was extremely clean. So glad we went with him to replace our basement laundry tub, he was worth every penny! We will definitely be going to him for all of our plumbing needs in the future!!
