Would like to work with them. They came out for an estimate last Wednesday toward the end of the day. Work included 'urgent' driveway drain snaking since water was backing up into garage. They said their scheduling dept was probably gone for the day that day, which was understandable, but that they would get back to me on Thursday of Friday. It's now the end of Tuesday and still no word from them. I'm sure they're busy and they probably do great work (judging by other reviews here), but it seems them didn't want my business. They never got back to me with either a phone call or email after 4 business days on urgent work. Oh well.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt in getting my plumbing stack unclogged. He was very diligent in diagnosing the problem and explained everything to me very simply. Firstly, let me state that I am a person that reads all the negative reviews of a company BEFORE I read the positive ones. And, before I even call a company for that matter. Why? Because the company's response to the complaints provides me with their level of integrity. That said, Cuccaro Plumbing has helped me in resolving an issue that is still ongoing....not because of them. The problem is, water leaking into the basement, so I had to do a step by step process of elimination to determine the origin of the problem. Matt came out and unclogged the downspout along the same wall that is leaking into the basement in hopes the leaking would stop. It did not. I wanted Matt to come back and camera the sewer line to search for a broken pipe. He did not want to charge me for something that he believed unnecessary. Integrity! I called back and had quite a few conversations with Matt & Jessica regarding my options. They were so kind and patient, and answered all of my questions. They provided guidance and suggested a waterproofing company to look at the problem. So now I am on to the next step in this process, but wanted to write this review because I really enjoyed talking with them and will be very happy to have them come back for other projects. Great run business. Owners actually care about their clients and deal with them directly. No middle man here. I don’t even live in the Pittsburgh area but I only deal with Kali and Paul with all rentals. One phone call and the issue is handled professionally and at a fair price. Matt unclogged basement floor/sewage drain. I had 3 different plumbers come here and none could figure out the gurgling in my tub when we flushed the toilet. Cuccaro was recommended by another one of their workers on a job I was also working on in Fox Chapel. 4 plumbers in less than a yr I had here and they did not fix the problem. I called Cuccaro and he sent out Matt. Matt did a through job, was very knowledgeable and trouble shot the job. I am pleased with Matt's work & his personality. Matt checked and exhausted all avenues to make sure he got to the root of the problem. Right now I sit here with a sigh of relief. Thank you Matt!!

Update: 10-21-22 Company contacted me to apologize for the miscommunication, and I was told the charges would be voided for the trouble. Grateful for the follow-up and professionalism.

Hired Cuccaro to come and help us with a leaking pipe into our basement. We were told it would be $95 an hour to come and diagnose it. Josh, who was sent out, cut into our ceiling and wall, and poked around slowly in our crawl spaces for two hours. At the end of two hours, told me that our issue was going to require the eyes of a more experienced plumber, Matt, and that someone would reach out to us to schedule it. When I asked about their schedule and when we could expect a follow up, he said a few days. On his way out, he surprised me by saying that we were welcome to call a different plumber.

Over a week passed, and I did not hear back from them, but I did get flooded by automated emails and text messages asking me to review them on Google.

I called to follow up with the front desk, and was told that someone needed to come out and diagnose the problem. When I asked if we were going to be charged in addition for the time that Josh had come out to diagnose our problem, I was told that she would check with the owner and get back to me. Weeks passed, and no one ever followed up.

I did indeed call another plumber, who came out the next week and fixed our issue. A month and a half later, I got a bill from Cuccaro for services rendered, which included leaving holes in our ceiling for us to fix and zero follow-through on our issue. I called them to ask about it and got their voicemail.

Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

Two leaking faucets are replaced by new ones. The gentlemen showed up on time. They are very professional and kind. Explained in details when I asked. Charging is not low, 2 new faucets for almost 700$, but I don't know how other companies will charge, so can't compare the price.

Refrigerator water pipe for ice and water dispenser leaked on kitchen floor overnight and Saturday most of day. They couldn’t come until Monday and it was the refrigerator seal that leaked . Plumber turned off the line snd returned water to rest of house.

I hired another plumber to fix a number of problems that I was having. This other plumber showed up and fixed some things across two days, but cancelled a number of times in between. After the first plumber cancelled on me three times on a row, I gave up and called Cuccaro Plumbing.

I wish I had called them from the start. Someone showed up the next day and fixed my problem (a leaking toilet) for less than the first plumber was going to charge.

Two previous plumbers had only made the problem worse. The shower in my bathroom is complicated and was installed 20 years or more ago. A new part was needed, requiring tricky installation and adjustment of several nozzles. This plumber understood my shower, knew exactly what to do, and fixed it. It operates like new now.

I had a national company come try to fix my clog in sewer line. After no luck and 4 hours later, they said my only solution was a $4,000 excavation. Called Cucarro and they had it resolved in under 2 hours for less than $200. Great service. Would highly recommend

Excellent company to work with all around!

They are not just good plumbers, but good business people. They keep you informed as to any change in agreed upon arrival time . They let you know by text when your plumber is on their way to your location. All in all they are the real deal.

Cuccaro sent a plumber to my home who left my toilet disconnected and sitting on the other side of the bathroom. He said he would need 10 hours to install a flange because he would have to tear out my kitchen ceiling. I asked the plumber if it was safe to leave the toilet like that and he said yes. I later contacted another plumber who said Cuccaro lied to me about having to install the toilet flange by tearing out my kitchen ceiling. Also by them disconnecting the toilet the water pipe that feeds the toilet was dripping into the hole in the floor for months and I didn't know it until now. Cuccaro plumbing caused major damage to my kitchen and downstairs bathroom walls and ceiling. When I spoke with Kaylee at Cuccaro she was really rude and nasty. I wouldn't recommend Cuccaro plumbing for the most minor plumbing job. They were going to rip me off for $1000 or more to install a toilet flange. homeowners beware of Cuccaro plumbing

I had a clog in my sewer line, Matt was amazing knew exactly what he was talking about and was just all around a great person in general. He got the clog out and use the camera to show me the ins and outs of the sewer system. It was extremely helpful. Everything about this company was top notch. I had 3 plumbers in my house before Cuccaro Plumbing came and they all told me it was going to cost around $10,000 to get fixed and they did not even try to get the clog out of the sewer line and charged $500. The whole experience with Cuccaro was great, the service tech explained everything to me and was there maybe an hour or so and line is free flowing again for $200. Going to have do some other things for in a couple of weeks. I will never call any else for my plumbing needs. Highly recommend.

I hired Cuccaro plumbing to map my drain and sewer lines because I'm having a contractor come out soon to install new footers and posts to support a skewed structural beam. I wanted to make sure the footers wouldn't disturb my drain line and I needed to confirm that fact quickly because of my other contractors timeline and availability.

Cuccaro was by far the most professional and timely plumber I contacted. From first contact Jessica worked with me to schedule a visit as soon as possible and she was very polite and kind.
