We had a great experience with Krupp Whitney Plumbing for trenchless sewer line repair. Their quote was well under others we received, they do not outsource their labor, the employees are kind, speedy, and trustworthy. Everything was done in the time frame that was promised at the price that was promised.

I called late one evening asking Nate for advice on my bathtub. I didn’t think that I could fix it myself, so he offered to send a crew member to my house that very next morning! The crew member was polite, respectful, and got the job done very quickly and efficiently! Since we only have one shower/bathtub, this saved me a lot of frustration! Thank you so much guys!

Very responsive company. We ultimately wound up using a different plumber due to being able to schedule sooner. I must have called a dozen plumbers to try and get our burst pipe addressed and Krupp Whitney was by far the most responsive and helpful despite not being able to schedule us immediately. Can’t comment on their work but I will certainly consider them for any future and less urgent work I need done.

Talk about awesome service! Nathan and his guys are the nicest people. Friendly, responsive, reasonable in the pricing. Krupp Whitney saved the day for us and has been absolute top-notch. We have worked with several other plumbers/plumbing companies in the North Hills area and I would never use anyone but Krupp Whitney again.

They are by far the most cost-effective company I've worked with until now. I hired them for a sewer inspection, they got the results to me within a few hours of the inspection when I informed them about a hard time-limit I had for contingency to end. Very easy to work with and efficient at what they do.

KW left a horrible mess. I knew I would have to rebuild my retaining wall, but the backfill job they did is atrocious. It’s a big, clumpy mess that is nearly impossible to dig through for me to fix this landscaping. They came back to fill the hole while I was at work, and I came home to this mess. I wouldn’t recommend this company if you don’t want your landscaping to be left destroyed.

10/10 would recommend. Very professional technician. Got here early, worked hard to problem solve, didn’t get upset or angry at all, very respectful and genuinely cared about clearing my drain. With his persistency and knowledge of the trade, he was able to fix my ongoing problem.

We had our sewer line backing up in our basement, Mike came out and gave us an estimate to jet the line to clean it out and see what was going on. His guys came out did a great job and were very professional and done in a timely fashion. When the line needs replaced as it’s inevitable, I’ll definitely be calling them back. Also online payment was simple and quick.

Prior to the sell of our home, we unfortunately failed the required water/sewer line test. Our municipality gave us 2 options: 1 - reline/replace the entirety of line to the property line (40 ft) or 2 - dig it up and replace yourself.

While we were eager to DIY, we realized the scope of the work including complexity and impending deadline for our close date (3 weeks). After several phone calls and quotes later, we found ourselves selecting Krupp Whitney for a few important reasons: they offered trenchless sewer lining; they were extensive and informative during the quoting process; they were available to meet the deadline; their pricing was fair and affordable.

We spoke with Nathan who was professional throughout the process. His team showed up during the scheduled times and came prepared to work. The project took 2 days to complete and the crew was courteous/respectful of the property. Specifically, the excavation crew went the extra distance to ensure our driveway (gravel) was appropriately graded and topped with fresh stone - showing minimal if any, disruption.

The project was completed on time and for a fair price. We were able to pass the dye test and sell our home (without lien or escrowed funds). We would definitely recommend Krupp Whitney to anyone in need of reliable and professional service. Thanks to the Krupp Whitney team!

Needed a sewer lateral inspection done relatively quickly, and the Krupp Whitney team was a huge help. Great experience from start to finish. Pricing is extremely competitive, and the service is exceptional.

Incredibly unprofessional. They are working next door to me and I was terrifyingly woken up this morning by one of their employees yelling at me, through a window near my bedroom in the rear of the house, in order to inform me I could not use the drainage system in my home for SIX hours because it would cause a mess on their end, and if I need to use the bathroom I had to do it now.

Had I been contacted properly in advance this wouldn’t be an issue. This company is incompetent, and they will likely have to repeat this job because there is no likelihood they successfully contacted our upstairs neighbors to let them know. They didn’t give proper notice or take the time to do so. I would never book this company or recommend it to anyone else because of their unprofessionalism yelling through our back window, which at first actually made us feel threatened.

They did excellent work, adjusted to an unexpected situation on the fly without changing the quote and were really easy to communicate with. Nate called during business hours (instead of 9pm like other companies) and also was willing to communicate via email/text. Easy to pay the invoice. All around pleasant experience.

From the free estimate, to the ease of payment (many plumbers I have worked with don't provide either), to the final sealing of my basement (there was a pipe break under the
cement) Krupp Whitney provided some of the best service and customer service I have EVER experienced. Including communicating with me, my tenants, and my insurance company in a timely and seamless manner.

I was given a very detailed quote letting me know exactly what portion of the sewer was on side & what portion was on a shared side with a neighbor. Donora didn't think there was a way to video this line except through the roof vent pipe, which is too small & far from where we needed. The tech had no issue taking of a pipe to the side of the home & connecting when done. Good job! (I ended up not purchasing the home, based on what was found.) Side note, I highly suggest old homes have this company line your old sewer line before they start collapsing. One can't line an already collapsing line.

Terrible experience with this company. I was referred to them from a friend and I started off through text.I had a commercial plumbing job I asked them to come look at and give me a quote the guy I was in contact with at first was very responsive until the day we met at the job. The two men that showed up were white and They realized I was black and everything changed then. He told me the job would be over 3k which was fine I guess he assumed I couldn't afford it. Then told me he would send a quote the next day but did not. I had to text him multiple times for him to finally say they were not going to do the job.

Early for appointment. Pleasant. Easy to work with. Thorough and reasonable.

Installation of permaliner. We had some terra cotta pipes that needed lined after finding an interior leak. They were responsive and professional. Highly recommend.

I selected Nathan and team at Krupp Whitney to replace my failed terracotta sewer line, which included approximately 60 linear feet of 6 PVC replacement under my concrete driveway, along with the installation of a new house trap and clean outs per Allegheny County Health Department regulations. They were extremely responsive and professional with their work, and Nathan provided updates as to the progress of the work and what the next steps would be. Along with a professional product, they did the work at a significant cost savings compared to others. I would highly recommend Krupp Whitney, and would gladly use them again should the need arise.

We had Krupp Whitney re-line the sewer line at a house we purchased, and were so impressed that we've used them for several other projects. The owners, Nathan and Joe, have been so easy to deal with and quick to answer questions. One service tech, Edwin, has done several repairs for us and we've been so happy with his work. Even the guys who were here doing the re-lining were incredibly professional and answered any questions I had. My wife and I will always call Krupp Whitney when we need a plumber.

I used Krupp Whitney to hydro-jet my residential sewer line and I am more than pleased with their service! I spoke directly with Mr. Joe Whitney and he was extremely informative and pleasant on the phone. Krupp Whitney is also extremely prompt with providing service -- I had technicians at my residence in less than 24 hours from my initial phone call with Joe. The price was very reasonable and fit the level of service they provided. Definitely go with Krupp Whitney if you are shopping around for plumbing services!

I've had two experiences with this company, and on both occasions I was very impressed. Availability by phone during posted business hours is excellent, communication is consistently professional, and they were able to accommodate my emergent service request within 90 minutes, solving my plumbing problem within an hour of arrival and for a price that was more than fair. I will not hesitate to call Krupp Whitney in the future--its a relief to know that you have a service provider that you can trust to consistently provide a stress-free experience and get the job done.

Don't recommend.

Our main shower had very low water pressure, especially with the cold water. Joe & Nathan responded quickly when I called, and came out the next day to diagnose this. They found an issue with a regulator/valve that was almost closed and fixed this during this same initial appointment. Not only did they resolve the issue, they did it quickly and explained everything very thoroughly.
I will definitely use them again when a plumbing issue arises!
