Called for my AC not cooling and they were out within a few hours, tech very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix quickly.

They say they are 24 hr. Called on a Sunday with water leaking problems and said they would see if they could find someone and get back to us. Never got a return call. Very disappointing.

Called them at 8:45 and someone was at my house at 9:15 and my AC was fixed at 10:15.

I've used this company several times in the past and they are very reliable. The technician is prompt and very competent. The job has been done efficiently and effectively each time. I will definitely call them in the future if necessary and I highly recommend them.

Not a great experience. Had the guy come out on a Thursday to diagnose the issue. Spent about a half an hour. Told me he was gonna go back to the office and have someone call me to schedule an appointment to fix. Didn’t hear from them so called them the next Monday two times and both times was told I would get a call back. No call. Tuesday somebody showed up to fix the air conditioner with out notifying me. I was at work. I left for my lunch break. When I got home he was halfway done. He replaced the part in my AC and installed a new thermostat. He was there another half an hour. So one hour total between Thursday and Tuesday. I received an email with a breakdown of the invoice and realized I was charged $267 for a thermostat. Same thermostat at Home Depot is $45. It took him five minutes to install. As of now I have several calls in to get this corrected and they will not call me back. Stay away!

I needed help with a toilet issue when a leak developed in my dining room ceiling. The 2nd floor bathroom is directly above the leak.
A tech from pgh's best came & diagnosed a faulty wax ring.
He replaced the wax ring and recommended purchasing a new toilet since existing one was quite old.
I agreed. So far so good.
He charged me $372.50 for service call and replacing ring.
Two days later the water began dripping again from ceiling.
I called them to discuss the situation. Got voicemail. Left detailed message.
No call back. Called again....no answer, no call back.
I have an appointment with Mertz Plumbing this week.
Needless to say I would not recommend this company.

These guys were great. Called at 5:00 PM on a Tuesday and they were at my house at 8:30 Wednesday morning. They had my mainline cleared in less than an hour. Highly recommended!

I found my water heater surrounded in a pool of water. I knew I needed a plumber and was expecting the worst recalling that it recently cost over $600 to have an outdoor spigot replaced by the guy that has pictures of himself waving from the back of his fleet of trucks. I wanted to try someone new and contacted Pittsburgh's Best Plumbing. I called in the evening and had a response in less than an hour. He was there the next morning and did a thorough inspection of my entire water system. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem to a faulty expansion tank. It was replaced in no time and at incredibly affordable price of well under half of what the other guy charged me to relpace a spigot! Highly recommended!

When choosing a plumber I was nervous about quality and cost, I’m certain that I got the best of both with Pittsburgh’s Best! Couldn’t recommend them anymore!

Serviceman was fine...but unnecessary. While he started his examination I noticed the plug was not fully engaged. Pushed it in and all was good. Had to pay anyway...tough lesson to learn.

The technician arrived promptly and in the timeframe that was mentioned earlier in the day when my original call for service was made. The technician was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He was able to identify the problem quickly and more importantly fix the issue with our water heater. The cost was very fair and I will use their services again for any plumbing or HVAC needs or issues that may arise.

Website states 24hr emergency service. I called 2 times on Saturday 10/15 and left my info with the answering service and never heard back from anyone.

Replacement of failed motherboard for antiquated Weather Maker 8000 furnace made by Carrier.

Our water heater broke late afternoon on Tuesday 7/28. We called and were told someone would be at our house by 9:30am the following day. 8:30am Pittsburgh Best was at out home. It was a tough project and a team ended up being at our home all day. They were beyond FANTASTIC! All of them and the work they did was above and beyond! Not to mention very reasonable in price. Thank you to the entire team.

Came fast and fixed it fast.

Giving it a 3 because I heard the gentleman ask his boss on the phone the part is under warranty so what should we charge for the labor. Ended up to agreeing to 350, ended up paying 430 because of a $80 restocking fee I was never told about.

Also the dudes walked around the house in wet boots and didn't put the shoe covers on until I had to ask them about it.

Pittsburgh's Best Plumbing and HVAC is a fantastic company to deal with! My wife and I had a hot water tank and a toilet installed on 3-5-21. The two plumbers that came to do the installation, Jay and Todd were very courteous and answered all my questions during the installation. They did the installation professionally and cleaned up after they were done.

I have been dealing with Pittsburgh's Best Plumbing for well over 10 years now and the owners, Chris and Alice are the greatest to deal with. They have helped my wife and I many times with our plumbing problems over the years and I highly recommend giving them a call to fix your plumbing needs!

These guys were fast and efficient. I called on Friday at noon to have a new hot water tank installed, by 1 PM I had a quote back that was very fair, and by 230pm the crew was at my house installing the new hot water tank. They did a great job at a fair price. I replaced my hot water tank in kind.

On time, friendly, fair and reasonable. Wore booties in the house, and tended to the repair quickly. The techs definitely seemed to know what they were doing, and offered a much more appropriate quote for repairing my water heater than I got from a competitor who offered a wildly overpriced replacement quote. Very pleased, and will absolutely use them again if needed.

The woman who answered the phone was polite and helpful. Todd showed up within an hour of me calling and fixed the problem quickly. After an emergency plumber(chain) was a no-show on Sunday, I called Pittsburgh Best Monday morning. I asked if someone could come by around 2:30 and at 2:25 they pulled in. Both guys were courteous and quick and came prepared with an arsenal of equipment and the main line was unclogged before 3pm. I highly recommend going local and would gladly use them again.

Plumber came out and fixed what needed to be fixed. He was nice and professional. Admin/communication could use some work. I called three times to make an appointment. Couldn’t get a call back. I left a 1 star review about that and got a call the next morning. If you’re wondering what their plumbing rates are, I attached a screen shot of their work order. 3 hours of labor totaling $670.
