Alan Trout is very knowledgeable and a honest plumber. He is very respectful of your property and his work is very high quality and detailed. I would not use any other plumber in the future except for trout plumbing because the job is done correct and at a very fair price compared to other companies. I would definitely recommend Trout plumbing to anyone that lives in the south hills that needs a plumber.

Never got an appointment for estimate.

Poor communication/unresponsive. He would schedule a time, then push the time. Showed up 2 hours after the initial appointment, said that he'd put me on the schedule for a week later but would confirm the following day. I repeatedly messaged him to confirm and the day before he was supposedly going to get me on the schedule, he canceled. If you want a runaround, by all means work with him. Unfortunately, I don't have time to sit around and wait for someone who doesn't value other people's time.
Would not recommend.

Needed an estimate on a new water heater, Trout Plumbing was very fast and friendly and quoted a fair price. Recommend giving them a call!

We had to have a dye test done. Which I personally think is a stupid thing you have to do to sell your home.
Alan called to see if he could come by early.
He was very friendly and informative.

We have used Trout Plumbing for years for both big and small jobs. Most recently they installed a french drain along the front and side of our house. Alan was honest and answered all of our concerns prior to completing. Since the drain was installed we have not had any water issues. If you are looking for quality work at an affordable price Trout Plumbing should be the only call you make!

I honestly wouldn't recommend this plumber. He broke the part and came back 2 weeks later saying he couldn't find the part he was looking for. We still paid for the service. Now the handle is just hanging there with the nail sticking out. That handle controls the temperature and I sometimes have to unscrew it middle of shower to get right temperature water.
