Best Leaking Issues in Phoenix AZ

We hired Pink Plumbing to install a new water heater. Lou Hernandez and his helper were efficiently, arrived early and very professional. Great Service!!

I had an appointment window of 11AM to 1PM Friday. They couldn’t come until 3PM so I had to reschedule. I Rescheduled for Monday 11AM to 1PM and they missed the appointment window a second time! This company doesn’t respect your time and they aren’t reliable. I recommend someone else.

I was referred to this company through my home builder. I am so grateful for the quick and thoughtful service we received from James Estes. We discovered a water line along the baseboards of our water closet and suspected we had a toilet leak. James was very thorough with his inspection and offered his best professional advice. After deciding to replace the wax ring he presented us with photos of the area to reassure that we had made the right decision. Thankfully we caught everything in time. Affordable prices and awesome customer service from James.

The company were very professional and stayed in touch with us on what was going to happen next. They let us know when they were coming and the communication was outstanding. Got the issue fixed that needed attention in a timely manner and did a great job.

Short version: The company is expensive, has very poor communication, doesn't do what they say they are going to do and are technically incompetent.Long version:Went with Penguin originally because of the seemingly good reviews that they had on Google. We had been having issues with our AC for a couple months and were willing to pay the extra money to go with a reputable company so that we could end the nightmare. Unfortunately, it was really only the beginning. The day the AC was installed we could not get the temperature below 85 degrees. Whoever I talked to would try and tell me that the new systems were not as good as the old R22 systems and that the tech had confirmed before they left everything was working as intended. That didn't seem likely so I asked to have someone else come out.The next individual came and did nothing as they seem to have multiple different departments in AC (warranty, install, tech - not really sure) who all have a variety of excuses as to why they are not the right person to assist and will pass the problem off to the next person.The next guy came out and said that the refrigerant was low and filled it up and apologized. I was cautiously optimistic that would help but it did not.The next guy came out and said that the ducts were not properly sealed and he had put tape on the outside to fix it. I asked, incredulously, whether tape was going to be the final fix for the leak and he said it was rated for 25 years and would be fine. I found this a little suspicious but said okay.The next morning I went into my attic to blow insulation to try and do anything I could to cool my house down from the 110+ degree heat and found the attic was probably more comfortable than my house. So...The next guy came out and said that the tape the previous guy had put on had fallen off and it should really be applied to the inside of the ducts otherwise the air will push it away (makes sense). After pressuring him for some more details on the issue, he finally admits the initial tech also messed up and put a piston system instead of a TXV which is what my unit requires and is likely the source of my problem. They also advise that part will take a couple weeks to get.At this point I'm obviously a bit frustrated and call a couple times requesting to have a manager or someone call me back. As of now, I have yet to have anyone from management contact me even though I have requested it multiple times.Good news is they got the part earlier.The next guy came and installed it. Bad news is the unit is now running worse than it was before. Haven't even called to deal with that yet. Maybe they will finally get their act together and call me back like they were supposed to.Bonus: They put a hole in my ceiling when they stepped through it. In their defense, they did send someone out to fix it though. I'm okay with companies making mistakes if they make right. Unfortunately, this was the only case where they did.

Three things always stick out to me when I evaluate someone's work
1. Time
2. Money
3. Quality

Nick came out and fixed my outside water valves without me needing to be there and got back to me via text message once everything was done allowing me time to get done errands I needed to finish.

The closest quote I could find was hundreds of dollars more than what Nick quoted, and on top of that he was able to find the parts for cheaper saving me an additional $75.

Everything is working to a T No dripping issues, water pressure is regulated, and my 20 year old stop valve has been replaced with a newer, more reliable one.

Nick, if you read this I just want to say thanks again for doing such an awesome job, and if this is someone thinking of hiring a plumber look no further you've already found him.

Chris is superb! We will definitely use Pink Plumbing & Sewer again when the need arises. They will be our go-to plumbing company from now on. My 80-year-old mother's water heater rusted out the bottom and water went everywhere. I live out of state, so I talked with Chris about replacing the unit for her. He gave me a price estimate over the phone which I appreciated since it saved time, and my mother didn't have to deal with someone coming out to her house to assess the problem. Chris was concerned about my mother not having hot water and sent out a technician (very knowledgeable and a super nice guy) right away to replace the water heater for her. It is one thing for me to be concerned about my 80-year-old mother, but for a total stranger to be concerned about her says a lot about their character. Thanks for caring, Chris!
