I called with an emergency on a Saturday night. Brian answered the phone immediately and talked me through the whole thing, he stayed on the phone with me for 20 minutes talking me through step by step what to do, didn't even try to get money out of me or ask to come out. Generally, I rate McLoughlin well. Today, not so. The last 2 small plumbing jobs that they've done at my home were way too expensive. I'd almost classify it as price gouging.They installed my HVAC system about 18 months ago. I've been on annual contract for both HVAC and plumbing since then. This is supposed to be at discounted rates (15% off).Yesterday, I generated a $375.00 invoice for a simple repair of a leaking shower. That amount would have been about $440.00 without the 'discount'. It was a drop in part. Total service time was about 90 minutes to include the time the Tech spent going to and from the supply house to get the replacement part. I later found out that the part lists at $53.00. So, working off the non discounted price (since I already paid for the discount). I got hit for close to $400.00 for 90 minutes work on a non emergency call. What's that work out to ... about $275.00 an hour? If you can easily afford that labor rate, hats off to you. You're a lot more successful than me.I asked the Tech what the part cost at the time of service. He didn't know, which I find ridiculous since he had just ran to the supply house and bought the thing. I called the main office and asked them to itemize their invoice so I could see how much I paid for parts, labor, etc ... they refused (one can guess why). I asked them to have a manager contact me ... we're about 24 hours post service. My phone has not rung (likely because someone doesn't want to make that call).Most contractors on the main line are a little bit of a rip off ... that's rules of the game and most people expect that. When one has to consider using loan sharking and / or bookmaking terminology to describe a contractor's pricing, they've gone too far.Nice people, good craftsmanship ... but feeling abused on cost. Look elsewhere.

The guy said he would be there by 7.30 am or 7.45am he show up at 7.30am and work for 3 hour on my plumber issue . Plus a very nice person.

Excellent job clean and a great price

Adam and his team are the best. We had a great experience. They came and spent an hour looking through our HVAC system and gave us great advice on what repairs we could consider however weren’t pushy at all. I personally found them to be the most professional service we’ve used and would HIGHLY recommend them! A+ service all around.

Best choice is a nice choice

I was told this is a reputable company. Nowadays it seems, as with all other companies, it has gone down the drain. No one cares any more about doing their job right and leaving a customer satisfied. A company who takes pride in their work and who wants someone to come back to their business over and over again because their work is just that good. You do not get that with this company. Due to the inadequacies with the first visit, a second visit was required to come and finish the job. The prices are ridiculous, the workload, later in day, is rigged just to get out the door and call it a day. They even walk away with your plunger! Never again, lesson learned. 8/7: Update to my initial review. I just used for the first time the new water valve they replaced in the backyard where my hose is connected. The water pours directly out from the wall, great job guys! Maybe you should be less concerned about the reviews for your company and more concerned about the quality of your work. You heard right, they made a special trip to our home, after my initial review, to question my elderly Mother about my review. Another thing I need to replace after this company did the initial job!

Fantastic experience with these guys. Called me back immediately on a Saturday night when it was 100 degrees outside and walked us through the repair so we wouldn’t have to wait for an actual service call. Fixed our AC and were incredibly patient and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Scheduled a sewer inspection. I was not home, wife was home. I was told the line was holding 25ft of water and it was rotted out. Repair cost $4350. Came home from work and watched the video provided by them and barely seen any water in the line or any rot. Had another plumber come snake the drain and clean it and record another video. He says the drain is fine, no rot, no water, just some grease build up. McClain said they would come back out 2 days in a row to look at it again and never showed up. DO NOT USE. Trying to SCAM people and do unnecessary repairs. Not trustworthy at all.

This company will have you in limbo without any resolution. Horrible customer service. The lady Robin is extremely unprofessional
