I would give American Rooter zero stars, but I cant. I could not have had a worse experience with them. American Rooter was the first company I called. Instead of helping my tenants and unclogging the sewer line, they tried to scam me out of $14,000. The other company had it fixed in less than an hour and charged me $288. The reason I am calling them scan artists, is because they still had the audacity to charge me $387 and they fixed absolutely NOTHING. American Rooter is the definition of an unethical company. I will NEVER use them again.

We have used R Mechanical for all our heating and cooling needs for the last 8 years. As a residential rental company, we often have need of their service. Their responsiveness is always timely, their techs are prompt and kind, and they always get the job done quickly. Whether it is a minor repair, major installation or servicing and maintaining our boiler systems, furnaces and air conditioners. Steve and Debi are dedicated to their business and it shows.

We had a company come out and install a central air unit, and furnace in 2016. I called the installing company and told them that the air didn't seem to cool down the rooms at the back end of the house. The installer did some wrapping of some duct work, and said this is the biggest home unit they have, and so we got, what we got, for cooling in those far away rooms. I figured that the same must apply to the heat, so I haven't said much to the Service One techs when they come to service the furnace yearly. This time, the Service One tech asked me how the heat was working. I advised him that it could be better. He advised me that the furnace is a 2 stage and is currently set up in single stage. He fixed the furnace to where it is now using both stages. It has much more air pumping through it, and a lot more heat. Before it was luck warm air coming out of the vents. We would have to use the fireplace to take the chill off in the house, and use heaters in the bathrooms before showers. Now it seems to keep up, and even shuts down when it gets up to temperature. Before it run almost constantly all winter. This Service One tech did an awesome job of checking the furnace and pointing out a potential problem. Wish we would have gotten this tech back in 2017 on the first anual check of the furnace, and we wouldn't have had to suffer the inconvenience of a sub par unit, which is now an awesome unit, now that it runs up to its potential. I forget the techs name, but the company should look it up and make sure he gets this message about how happy we are with his service call.

Update 11/29/22:Steve is still amazing and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service!As a first time Customer with Burton, I was blown away with the friendliness of the representative I spoke with at dispatch and how quickly I was able to secure an appointment.I received a text with picture and name of who to expect, prior to my tech arriving at my home which was much appreciated as a single woman and parent of 4 children.Stephen Bednar arrived right on time and was professional, kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable about all services offered.He also wrote up a service plan with multiple pricing options and included a military discount, since I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran.He answered my millions of questions and my mothers as well. He made us feel comfortable and taken care of.As a 1st time home owner who has never had to call a plumber, the whole experience was pleasurable and I was extremely nervous even having to call. He cleaned up every work area after services and provided his business card upon departure, in case there were any follow up questions.I would definitely recommend this company and especially Stephen. Outstanding service, I will be a repeat customer. Thank you!☺️
