Shawn Burden is a pro. Friendly, easy-going but totally focused on the job. People like him are the main reason I use Burton.
Frank thoroughly checked our air conditioner system for safety and efficiency. He recommended a few changes and told us how to accomplish them. We were very happy with his professionalism and knowledge. Would recommend him, and Burton AC Heating Plumbing.
Stephen Bednar was great to work with, and arrived an hour earlier than expected. He was very professional, and took the time to explain what was going on and the different options to fix the problem. He also answered my other questions not related to the drain clog (water heater maintenance, estimated replacement costs, etc). I would highly recommend Stephen, and will be requesting him in any future visits that are required.

I signed up with Burton because they had great reviews but my experience after my 2nd maintenance check up was subpar. The technician informed me that, although my system was running great when he came out, that it would no longer work unless I had immediate maintenance done on my unit. First off, I did not even call them out, they contacted me for my system check. The system was working prior to the visit which he acknowledged. In the end, I called the main office and they fixed the part free of charge.

We were overcharged $100 and told we needed a service that was not necessary. By the end of their services we were told we needed something completely separate done and that they apologized for wasting our time on something that wasn’t necessary. We were okay with it but we had originally asked to have someone come by with a snake and camera which they did not. It appears they wanted to add on extra services that were not needed and then charged an additional $100 to the price that was quoted. We were told by the manager Rich that we would receive a refund. It has been over two weeks. I called and was told there are more steps I need to take in order to get my money back that I was over priced. Will not use this company ever again
Prompt,and reliable, and service oriented. Burton has earned my trust and confidence and I intend to use them for all my future furnace maintenance and/or repairs. I take great pride in keeping our furnace in tip top conditionand running at peak efficiency by changing the filter every 6 months and having maintenance every 12 months.The Burton technician, John, was personable and and I'd give Burton FIVE (5) Stars.

Every time I have call them or had them come out they have done what is need in a timely fashion. I had one semi bad experience but they did everything to make that right for me. Called me on a Sunday to let me know that a had a free furnace inspection and cleaning that’s was free wanting to schedule it instead of just letting it slip but would totally recommend them and already have
This is the first time we used Burton, and we will definitely use them again. We had a backup in the floor drain where our A/C drains in our basement. I called Burton in the morning & was given a time frame of 8:00 - 12:00 pm. They called at 7:00 am to say the plumber would be there between 8:00 & 8:15. They also sent me a text with the plumber's name & photo. Jake was here at 8:10 & discussed the different services they offered, from a bare minimum to just unclog the drain to a waranteed deep clean. I chose the deep clean as we'd never had the drain cleaned in the 13 years we've lived in the house. It only took about 30 minutes. Jake demonstrated to me with a gallon of water that the drain was now daining correctly. He also took the time to clean most of the gunk off the drain cover & the top of the inside of the drain. He was professional & efficient. I highly recommend Burton to anyone who wants efficient & reliable plumbing services. Thanks again, Jake!

Steve was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. He found the water heater’s problems and everything will be taken care of in 2 days, which is fine because it was not an emergency problem. He was also kind enough to look at my “under the sink” plumbing situation and arranged for it to be fixed on Friday, at no additional cost.

I was treated with courtesy and professionalism by both technicians that came out. They gave me several options to repair my sewer line and and went above and beyond to get me up and going again. Highly recommend them. The office staff was also very helpful and courteous.
THANK YOU, BURTON!!!!! You folks are the best!!!Today is Friday. This afternoon, I called our regular plumbing service to request emergency assistance to repair a leaking pipe in the basement of my son's home. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment that company could offer was a week from today. I then called another plumbing service ... one that is part of a well known national chain ... that advertised 24-hour/7-days-a-week emergency response service. The operator took my information and promised to have a plumber to the house within two hours. About 45 minutes later, I received a called from that company informing me that they do not offer emergency 24-hour service, and they earliest they could respond was Monday.Then I called Burton AC Heating Plumbing & More. In less than an hour, I had 2 plumbers at the house working on the problem. They quickly identified the cause of the water in the basement and repaired the pipe and faucet. They then contacted a company that specializes in emergency clean-ups, and those folks will be on site shortly to begin the chore of pulling up carpeting and removing soggy drywall.The Burton plumbers -- Jason and Noah -- were professional, courteous, and kind. They explained exactly what they were going to do, then they did it. Great customer service and great quality of work. I will definitely be calling Burton in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

The plumber fixed our issue and was helpful and friendly (although we suspect he fixed things that didn’t need to be fixed given our pipes had been replaced only a year ago). He was supposed to come back to put a gold fixture in our tub but never did. But despite that, my poor rating is due to the fact that we sent him home with a check. Three months later, Burton contacts me saying our account is past due. When I asked about the check we gave to the plumber, they said it must have been returned due to insufficient funds. I have bank statements to prove this isn’t true. No one can tell me what happened to our check. I was also told that they sent us multiple bills, but the only one I received is from today. They want me to submit a second check, but I’m hesitant to do that given their disorganization and dishonesty. I wish they would update their system to allow online payments. Given how much they price gouge, surely they have the money to put into a website payment system so they don’t have to pass checks between multiple hands?? In any case, it never looks good to blame customers for your mistakes. I will definitely go back to using Tritz Plumbing in the future.

They agreed to come do an estimate on relocating my current furnace but sent a salesman to convince us to buy a new unit. We never got the estimate we requested and he said to come back in the spring when they're not busy and it will be cheaper too. His verbal estimate range was $5500 to move the current one but didn't give an estimate of everything we need. They are terrified to give too much information. Now that I know about price jack up scams in winter, I won't be going with them at all in the future.
I had a drainage issue with my bathtub and needed a quick fix before I had guests in town for the next few days. Ken from Burton showed up in the time frame expected and did a full evaluation of what the issue could have been caused by before jumping into the solution. He was pleasant and efficient with his work. Fixed in perfect time for my guests to arrive the next day. I would highly recommend Burton; they saved me from any lessons to learn in procrastination.

I am very thankful for the great customer services that was provided by Nathan! I asked for him to knock versus ringing the door bell (dog will freak out). You would be surprise how many people do not listen to that. He also came in following CDC recommendations about mask/gloves etc. Once finished he was very thorough and details about work that might need to be done and walked through each of the cost. Thank you.

Burton came through in a time crunch! Our water heater died and Mark with his team assessed the issue and provided us with 6 options. The work was done fast and clean. Top notch service and my mind is at ease. Mark is very knowledge and a HUGE asset to Burton. If your plumbing is hurtin…you know what to do.
The electrician that came to my home was exceptionally knowledgeable and listened to me explain what we had done to fix the issue. Instead of trying to gouge me in prices he told me the simple solution to the issue and that he would waive all charges since it was an easy fix. I will definitely use this electrician again.

Notice our water heater was turning on and off randomly for the last month. Went to Google and saw Burton and they had some good reviews. I called and set up an apt and was advised that someone would be out last week. He showed up and said the water heater warranty (whirlpool) would only repair the water heater part but not pay for the service. Totally understand but when he left he told me it would be $317. I was a bit shocked but needed hot water and didn't know that I could be getting quoted way too much. Anyways, we get the part, the tech calls and comes today. He is literally here, maybe 15 min. Fixes the part, then sends an invoice for $0. No breakdown of what I am paying for or even an amount. Emailed asking for a breakdown and got a quote sheet that was hand written by the tech. Burton called after I asked again for a breakdown and informed me of the following:1. They don't charge by the hour they charge by the task...So vague and if you don't know anything about the going rates in your area, you wouldn't even know what that rang would be.2. This task took maximum 10 min to diagnose and 15 min to fix. That is a total of 35 min of labor. $327 for 35 min of labor. No parts, Labor.3. When he left, we discovered it was now leaking Gas. Called him to come back, which he did. Was advised by Burton, it's possible he will charge me for coming back. SERIOUSLY? Also, The guy who called me from Burton and told me all of this stuff was not the tech. I am assuming its one of their Customer Service reps.4. After talking to several friends/family, I have realized HOW much I just overpaid for trusting a household name. I don't expect a reply, I also don't want a generic apology from the CEO or whatever I just want to help the next person choose to not get ripped off.The tech travis, was not rude at all. Not sure if he is a part of this whole process but he was not rude.

Have never had a bad experience with Burton. I have used them about a half dozen times through the years and I have recommended them to others. Every tech they send for various jobs are always professional and courteous.
Brandie set up the appointment. She was nice and efficient.Patrick was my technician. He was absolutely lovely. If anyone from Burton reads this review: that guy needs a raise. He was patient and professional. He explained things to me in ways that I could understand them. Leasing the land, he let me know that the sewer issue was not mine, but the land owners problem and it was so refreshing to see someone stand up for what was right. Patrick and I argued about me paying for his services because he said was not going to charge me and I insisted on paying something so he allow me to pay the $49.95 fee for the service call. When the representative for the landowner arrived, Patrick explained to him what was wrong, showed him the issue, and told him how to fix it.It's very rare for me to leave a review, but this guy deserves recognition. He deserves recognition for not only being a great representative of your company, but for being a person who presented himself with ethics and morals. Please give him my best.
The technician was very polite and a pleasure to work with. The service was fast. I appreciate the technician making the effort to try to clean up his mess. Most technicians or workers just leave the dirt where it is, but Allan was not willing to do that. Although, I told him I would clean it up with no worries. Thanks Allan!!

Called for a simple clogged kitchen sink. Was told it would be $88 and that the service person would be out the next day between 8am and 12 pm. He showed up at 4 pm after I had to call and ask what was going on. Then was told it would be $192 and that the $88 was just for them to show up and look at the problem. Will not be doing business with this company again..avoid.
Stephen was very professional and got the job done quickly. He explained the process and answered any questions I had. He had dog treats for my dog and didn’t let my annoying children bother him. We will definitely request Stephen for any issues we have in the future!

He diagnosed and applied the proper and quality fix action and, in a short amount of time, we had water again. I purchased a new furnace from Burton 11/2020. Now that I need service, NO HELP from them. Instead of telling me , your call is two- three weeks out. They told me on 5-10-2022, out tech. Will be on site between 8-12 that morning. At 10 am that morning, I received a call cancelling my appointment. They had A C calls and Zi would have to wait? Rescheduled for 5-13-2022 in the morning.At 11:30 I called and I was scheduled for an afternoon service call? It’s 4:30 and still no service call !If I had looked into their poor service rating, I would never have used them.Please don’t look at the reviews on their web page, look at the independent reviews. They show the true rating of 2 out of 5 stars. These reviews repeat the same problem, poor service.

My furnace went out on a weekend. Burton made it a priority to come quickly (they were here within 90 minutes) and were very professional. 10 days later I had water leaking from my ceiling underneath the upstairs bathroom. Burton was able to see me 8am the next day. I appreciate how all the servicemen were good at explaining the problems and options for fixing them.
We’ve been here for 15 years with Burton being our first call for hvac emergency repairs in July 2005 and the only heating plumbing and hvac contractor ever since because of the outstanding service technicians and customer service representatives.Great company!J. Abrams 12/30/2021

It was nice to see everything broken down and the pricing before the service was completed. Besides fixing our sink, Travis was easy to talk to and just a nice guy! I would recommend Burton to anyone with this kind of plumbing issue.

I was visiting my elderly father after coming from out of town. I called Burton at the last minute after I noticed an issue at his house. They had an opening the same day and sent Shawn Nelson to fix the original issue and install a new water heater. He was very responsive, pleasant and professional. He was super patient with my 93 year old father’s constant questions. I felt good leaving the next morning knowing that everything was taken care of and Dad wouldn’t have to worry about any more issues.
I am a first time Burton customer and I am very pleased with the service they provided to me. Alex Martinez and his crew arrived on time with a professional appearance, completed the task and cleaned up after themselves, all while staying on budget.

Had a great experience with Burton. Scheduling was quick and easy. I was lucky to work with two great technicians. Jeremy and Jason were very professional. Jeremy did a great job installing a new electrical outlet for us and Jason also did a great job installing a new hot water heater. Would highly recommend Burton for any electrical and plumbing work.

I am a member of Nextdoor, and the reviews have been terrible for Burton, probably more in line with Yelp. I went back and looked at the history of comments of Burton on Nextdoor, and it has consistently been terrible over the last 5 years. So, what gives? Just trying to figure out the inconsistencies

We had issues with the pilot light on our water heater. I went online. Loved the option of using chat to talk to a representative. Very prompt response. In addition I liked that they send e-mail with a picture of the technician. He was on site within few hours. After evaluation of the issue the technician presented options and offered his opinion, which was great. We had to replace the water heater and he did it fast and professional. He offered different products to choose from, which I appreciate. I liked that all happened within 4-5 hours.I will use Burton again and recommend their service.
After a call to Burton AC, moments later I received a text from technician Josh stating he was on the way to fix our flooded basement with sewage. When Josh arrived he quickly accessed and resolved the situation. Josh provided helpful information in a very professional manner ensuring we fully understood the process. Josh also called a restoration company which called us and scheduled an appointment. I definitely recommend Josh, he was positive, professional and highly informative.

I had Bill Sears come out to my house, he was super respectful and very nice. He was very professional and honest about my clogged floor drain. He advised me of the best route for my situation. I was a little worried He would not get it unclogged. But he came in with a determined attitude and got my floor drain all cleaned up. Highly recommend!!
Johnny was awesome. He was fast but thorough. He showed me how to clean my outside unit. Since I hadn’t had it serviced in a couple of years, I asked him to do the cleaning. He was willing to show me how to do it, when I asked, but I realized I didn’t want to risk hooking the wires up wrong.
We needed emergency service ASAP as sewage was backing up into our bathtubs. Other companies were not able to come out on a Sunday, but the Burton company was able to send someone to our house within a few hours. Darin Hobbs was very helpful not only in fixing our clogged drains, but answered all of our questions and offered great suggestions and advice for the future regarding our toilets and drain. He was very professional and went above and beyond what we expected. He represented Burton well and we will definitely continue using their services in the future based off of this interaction.

I had purchased/installed a water heater a few months back. I received great service. I was able to pick my own options for the financing. Thought would go back since my furnace stopped working. This is when everything went down hill. Furnace went out on a Sunday so 189.00 to come out. I bought a standard digital thermostat less than 100 he charged me 118 to install it. It took less than 10min to install then tells me to be careful with it cause it is not mounted very well. Then he goes down and looks at the furnace and low-n-behold I need a new furnace. But he got it running until next morning. Finance guy Kenneth shows up takes pictures then proceed to tell me he is going to the truck to figure out what would good better and best. Comes back doesn't even show me the estimates and decided for me..the better. Adds in duct cleaning. Well Monday comes they showed up bright and early ready to go! They installed the furnace and fixed the thermostat. One of the men that came was irritated over something so he made being in my own home very uneasy. He dropped a tool and he look like he could go off at any time. I asked about the duct cleaning they didn't know. So I called and it was set for the next day Tusday morning. Ok Tuesday comes and goes no call or show. I email Kenneth and he said sorry and he will get the schedule and call me Wednesday morning. No call or show Wednesday. Wednesday night I sent another email and told them just cancel and take it off my bill. Well they did but still no response or call to apologize or anything. Better off their prices are outrageous. Will not do business with them again.

They also explained the ins and outs of the new system very well. Would use again.Update: Ross from Burton's came out to perform a check on the system (1/19/2021). Called 3 places to get an estimate. Backlund, Thermal, and Burton. Backlund and Thermal gave me quotes free of charge and we’re in the same price range. Burton gave me a quote 3 times as much as the other two and charged me for it.No complaints with the plumber himself, he was professional, personable, knowledgeable and informative. Dispatcher Regan reached out early today to let me know that my service technician would be on his way soon. Shortly after that I received a text with a photo of my service technician Jake and a brief bio. This was great! Jake arrived and took care of shower drain very quickly after outlining the options. My shower now works great, and Jake smiled and shook my hand before heading back out to help somebody else. I would highly recommend Burton, Regan and Jake. They are all very professional, and they will make you feel like family.

Our 10 year old water heater failed yesterday, I called Burton late in the afternoon, and they set an appointment for me at 8:30 this morning. Phil arrived right on time, diagnose the problem, gave me quotes, and I decided to get a new water heater. The entire process, including a parts run for Phil, only took a couple of hours. He was very patient, answered all my questions, and did a great job, including cleanup. I would use these guys again.
AC quit cooling. Christopher found defective contactor. He had part on truck and was gone is less than hour. Very professional. Will use again if necessary.

We needed some emergency help with our AC on the hottest day of the year and Burton was able to send a tech on the same day. He then came back the next day to ensure that everything was working properly. They did a great job.
I want to up front say that the young man who did my annual furnace inspection was friendly, cordial, and very professional. But in all honesty, I am losing interest in having Burton service any of my appliances. It didn't help that I had to wait 6-8 weeks for my service. I am a VIP customer, which apparently means nothing. And just once, I would like Burton to complete the service without telling me that I need to spend another $150-$300 to do the job right

The technician…JIM SEARS…did a terrific job…from first introduction (he’s a very personable guy), discussion of the basic work and alternatives, performing the work, and ‘clean up’ when the work was completed. Drain issues are never ‘fun’, but JIM DEALT WITH THIS ONE VERY PROFESSIONALLY…ALL GOOD!
The furnace was making weird noises. I called Burton and they sent Justin out for a diagnostic. He was very polite and courtesy and really made sure I understood the issues and helped with making another appointment so I could get estimates on replacing it.

Conducted a full HVAC and water heater installation at a property of mine. Sales process and install went fine, would even say they went great! It was the after service that was awful. The HVAC system developed a gas leak several hours after install (things happen, not upset about the leak). We called MUD out, they confirmed the leak, traced it's exact location, but they didn't have the tools to fix it on the spot. Red tagged the unit, but left it operational as while it needed repaired, it wasn't a shutdown level danger per MUD. Immediately contacted Burton; after hours line set up a repair tech for the next day to get it fixed. Next day rolls around, office lady calls to confirm appointment. Calls back a couple hours later to inform me her manager cancelled the appointment as they hadn't been notified by MUD directly so they wouldn't send anyone out till MUD contacted them.Eventually, several phone calls later and being promised the manager would call to explain everything to me, they relented and sent an HVAC tech (spoiler: no manager called). Tech confirmed there's a leak at the spot where MUD said, but he'd need a plumber to fix it. No biggie, not everyone can fix everything. Plumber arrives, smells the gas leak, but says there's no gas leak after doing a soap test (not an approved leak test per MUD). We called MUD back out, different response guy confirms the leak is still there, but he has the tools to fix it for us and does. I complained to a tech that did a follow-up call and asked for a manager to get in touch. No manager ever contacted me.I could have probably saved a few thousand dollars by shopping Burton against the competition, but I highly value customer service and they had the reputation for great service. Now I know for any large projects to go with a different company, as I can spend less money to get treated indifferently by management. 4 people on 5 occasions said a manager would reach out. Not a single one ever did. I would not recommend Burton to any friends, family, or colleagues based on my experience, but highly encourage any enemies, rivals, or competition to use them so I know they too can be treated with apparent indifference.
Plumbing issue. Travis came out very cordial, informative and answered all my questions and concerns.
I had Burton replace my 22-year-old water heater. The technician, John, was excellent. He thoroughly reviewed options and gave me several choices of cost, quality, and warranty. I made a deal on the spot. John then did the work immediately on the same visit, which saved me another appointment and more time off work. 3 hours later, I had a new water heater, fully installed. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work, neatness, safety, and most of all with my new water heater!

Frank came to my house to do an annual inspection on my heating systems - while they can't do anything with the steam heat this built-in-1918 house has, Frank was still able to check out the forced air heating system the previous owners had installed and let me know what needed repair, what needed replacing, and overall what to look for/expect this winter! He drew up a diagram and explained it to me, as well as a written statement with his diagnoses, recommendations, and next steps. Not only was he clear and professional, he was extremely polite and personable as well! My kids had an unexpected day home from school and we chatted about his kids (and grandkids!) and my little boys, and even our dogs (my 11 year old lab mix took a liking to him and just wanted him to cuddle with her the whole visit)! I truly enjoy when Burton comes to my house because every experience I've had to date has been this wonderful. Having an old house and old HVAC systems has the potential to be a true nightmare, but Burton makes it clear that they care about their customers and that they know their stuff! As my first time with Burton, I am impressed. The customer service is unbeatable! The tech(s) did a wonderful job explaining everything to me, and they let me choose the best option for my situation.
I had a tech come look a sink and a tub in our house due to agreement on closing of the sale of our house. The tech didn't put a note that they looked at the sink but did put information on the fix for the tub that was done. Well Friday before Monday closing of our old house we get informed that we need an updated invoice to show that sink was looked at or we can't close on the house. Not Burton's issue on timing but I called Friday morning, called Saturday Morning, called 4 times Monday to have a manager look into this. I was informed by the manager that finally called me back, Allison, that they are allowed 48 business hours per request to get back to someone. I am sorry you are a manager and salary, check your emails on the weekend like everyone else does. Help a person out when they are in a urgent issue. So long story short, Allison had to contact the tech that was on paternity leave and have them update the invoice and call me. Apparently she couldn't do that for him? Also she was very rude due to she kept saying we are allowed 48 hours, sorry our closing of our house was delayed 6 hours because Burton could not update an invoice to show there was no issues with sink that was inspected. Seriously the manager there is rude and lazy.

Eric Fraizer was an amazing, professional and responsive Technician but I just wanted more of a Breakdown list of everything that’s going on with my H-Vac and AC. The only information that I was giving after the inspection was photos that I’ve already seen of my H-Vac and AC with no explanation or pricing of each malfunction.
Devin was prompt, friendly, diligent and indefatigable. He worked for the entire afternoon to unplug our two drains. He was delightful to chat with when work was done and we were signing the orders. Please take a better picture of him! You know, he's really very intelligent . . . (smile)

Being a homeowner, it can be daunting when repairs come up. Burton came out and was going to charge an astronomical amount of money to repair what they found and advised me they were being generous. They also charge for a leak check when I found out other companies do not. When I called a different company for a second opinion, they were able to see that the part that needed repaired was actually under warranty. Which automatically brought my price down. I also had to call the next day to get the invoice sent to me for the work he did do that I paid for. My Burton technician was nice enough but Burton the company itself I would not recommend as I believe you can get better service elsewhere.

I called Burton because our house was not receiving any cold air from our air conditioner and there was a leak in our HVAC system. They discovered that we needed to replace our capacitor in our unit and said the leak was due to our blower motor. They offered $300 to change the capacitor but were adamant that we purchased a new system for $10,000. Since we don’t have a lot of excess money I decided to look at alternative options and I found the capacitor we needed online for $15 and watched a YouTube video on how to install it, and after inspecting our unit I found that the leak was due to a clogged drainage pipe. Since making these adjustments my AC has been running great. I’m not creating this post to give Burton a negative image, but to empower those who are having issues with their systems to do research because you could be saving thousands!

Burton needed to diagnose and troubleshoot my thermostat which was not working right. Justin came out last week to do the diagnosis and returned this week to replace the faulty thermostat. He was on time, professional and responsive. Burton is an excellent company to work with.

Shakeil was professional and so nice. He took care of our furnace check and informed me of what minor adjustments he had made to our unit and what we could do differently to make it more efficient and last longer. We have only had positive experiences with Burton and won't use anyone else.

My furnace stopped working at 4:45am and I called Burton at a little after 8 am. By 10 am they had a couple of repairmen at my home seeing what was wrong. They answered all of my questions and after fully understanding the furnaces condition decided to replace it. 2 days later at 8 am Charles and Jake arrived to remove and replace my furnace and air conditioning unit. They were very knowledgable and polite! I am very happy and totally satisfied with Burton and if I have any problems in the future they will be the first I call! I highly recommend their services to all that I met and know!!!
One star? How about NO stars!! A month ago, we had Burton out to unclog a pipe. That all went fine. They offered to do a free video inspection to see if the main line from the house to the street was good. Unfortunately, found a section of pipe that had deteriorated under our driveway. I personally saw the video, so I knew it was bad. Signed a contract to have them come back & tear out the one concrete panel, replace the section of pipe and then pour in new concrete. Scheduled appointment for 04-28. Today, 04-25, a crew shows up unannounced and starts tearing up the driveway. Instead of cutting the single panel and then jackhammering the panel out, they used a bobcat to just chuck and break up the slab in pieces, which they then left on the curb. In doing so, they damaged the panels on both sides. They didn't put anything down on the lawn to protect it, so it has huge chunks of grass torn out. When my husband confronted the crew about the damaged panels, the guy said well, you can get someone else to finish it then AND THEN THEY QUIT AND LEFT! (When my husband had talked with the crew earlier, the guy stated that they had only been working/contracted with Burton for THREE DAYS.) The manager, Darrin, that had been out at the contract signing, said they had experienced crews that do great jobs. That is a joke! After calling Buton several times and explaining the situation, I was told Amber would call me back with a resolution. Didn't happen. I had called Darrin 6 times with no response before he finally called me back. Decided to cut our losses with Burton, they reduced the origin amount due and we contacted a concrete company to tear out the two damaged panels and then repour a total of 3 panels. What a headache and nightmare! Would NEVER, EVER recommend Burton to anyone!

I don't normally use Burton because we use a different company but we had an emergency and the other company was booked for the next few days. John with Burton was able to show up same day, about an hour after I called! The emergent fee was steep, but not too unreasonable compared to the several other companies I called.John was extremely thorough and did a great job explaining things to me. He laid out my solutions clearly and answered all my questions. (but I really didn't have too many because he explained everything well) He was very nice, I am very happy with my service. I would recommend them!

Jason was awesome, came out when he said he was. He was super polite, and did an awesome job installing the faucet. We did find ourselves shucking out a little more money than expected, but Jason did provide us numerous options ranging from cheap to top dollar. He insisted that it was my house, and it was my choice. That empowerment for a customer is grade A stuff man. Nothing worse than someone trying to upsell every step of the way. We did get a new faucet, supply line, piping, and obviously the parts and labor which took us to ~600 bucks. However the peace of mind for everything he did in addition to the warrant has given me peace of mind for years to come. Thanks for great service burton and Jason. Y’all did great!

We had a problem with our bathroom sink faucet which was fixed by Burton and another problem crept up 4 months later in the same faucet. I assumed these 2 issues were related. They were not. Our technician explained the new issue and then advised that I contact the manufacturer of our faucet to obtain a tool which would be needed to remove a screen which needed to be cleaned (it was specific to our faucet). He did not have this tool. Best part - I was not charged for the visit. Extremely professional.
I would just like to say what a pleasure it was having Drew do my AC check. He showed up on time and was polite, professional and thorough. He explained my maintenance options but left the decision up to me. Hope that I am lucky enough to get him again when it's time for the furnace check. He represented the company well and is a true asset.

He provided excellent service and additional information on both repair and replacement questions. The quotes included several options for pricing. Today I had the pleasure of working with Darrin to get my drain unclogged. As my basement restroom had flooded. He did not pressure me to make an over the top purchase cause I am waiting for an insurance adjuster. He gave me a recommendation for water restoration that came out immediately. He was training a colleague Jeff during his appointment and he made sure I approved and took his time to explain. He even dumbed the explanation down and drew me pictures and showed me so I understood the severity of my problem. I definitely will use Burton again.
Stephen was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me the best and worse case scenarios for the toilet running slow. Luckily, the former turned out to be the case. With a teaser price like this for cleaning a drain ($90-something), I was concerned the company will try to upsell different stuff such as a lifetime commitment to Burton for various services, or name my next child Burton, or something like that, but that was not the case at all. Stephen also gave me a price for a replacement toilet in a guest-bath with no obligation to purchase now.

I called on the company, after hours on the coldest night of the year (so far) when my heater started making a loud noise. Zac was knocking at my door a half an hour later. He diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. I would happily recommend Burton.

The field tech was very personable and knowledgable. Once the tech arrived he was very quick determining what our issue was and was able to fix the issue within 15 minutes. We had a toilet backup, thanks to our three year old. It was like national lampoons level panic with the mess we had going on. Keenan showed up on time and was so friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the issue in no time. The clog was definitely something we couldn’t have handled on our own. It had moved down the sewage line and it was completely blocked! Burton was able to send Jared out to fix our A/C unit within 1 hour of our call. Jared was very professional, courteous and explained everything he was going to do before he did it. He was very transparent and in the end, was able to fix our A/C unit at a very reasonable price within an hour. We have used Burton in the past and our experiences have always been top notch.
Have (now had) a VIP membership with Burton. Part of the VIP program they offer a free plumbing inspection. There were a few things that I wanted done so I was able to get a free estimate by doing the inspection. The cost for the plumbing work I wanted was nearly $1,800.00. Before deciding, I wanted to compare prices with other plumbing companies but most require a $50-$70 fee just to come out and do an estimate. Companies like this do this so they deter customers getting a second estimate and therefore jack the price up. I found another plumbing company in Omaha that had 5 star rating and offered free estimates without any VIP membership and the cost of the same repairs was about 1/3 the cost of Burton’s. In addition, every time Burton has schedule a day and time frame to come out they have yet to come out the day or time that was originally scheduled and always had to reschedule to another day.

I feel I overpaid for what was fixed. I was stuck with getting it done at a what is extremely high quote or paying the inspection fee and looking else where. They were very prompt, polite. But in no way will they give you any information on the phone. Will not be using Burton in the future due to the high cost of 1.25 hours worth of work and supplies that would be around $25 at a store. I'm giving 2 stars because the worker was great. He did his job, and he fixed the problem. My review is solely based on Burton as a company and the prices they charge.
Our AC went out for the third time in the last 2 weeks. We had had the original installers out, and they failed (twice) to fix it. Finally called Burton, because we were hurtin! Frank showed up, got the story and asked if the previous company had checked the drain tube. No they hadn't. It's the simplest thing to check. Frank checked, yes it was plugged, and had it fixed. Then he showed me how to do it in the future. He said he needed to teach me how to fish, not just give me a fish. Thank you, Frank, and thank you Burton.

So Burton came to my house to fix some plumbing issue I had and they ended up having to dig a hole in my front yard. In the beginning I thought everything was going great but after everything was said and done I started noticing that my front yard was starting to cave in and I contacted them about it and I was told sense it's been raining alot we don't know how deep that hole is so just barricade it and don't let anyone step on it till we come and get it corrected. It's been weeks and I haven't heard back anything at all.
The tech Dylan was very professional and courteous. He explained what he was doing and went above and beyond resolving the issue. Gave recommendations to prevent future episodes. Cory the manager came out and scoped our sewer line and he too was very professional and courteous and stated that he would follow up with us later in 2021.

Came to quote a water heater and told me my house (which was going through a remodel of the kitchen) would be concidered condemned and I would be forced to move out until it had a full kitchen. Guy was full of it and unprofessional. I've never heard a good review from someone I actually know about Burton so I'm not sure why I gave them a call. Don't walk, RUN from Burton. They upsell everything and try to take advantage of anyone they can. They bank on you not knowing anything about HVAC or plumbing and take full advantage.

We have been with Burtons for a very long time. We pay for the VIP membership. Thought we were going to have to switch after we moved to Blair and my FIL who owns the house we live in now was using another company. We delt with that company 1 time and that was enough for years of regret. Found out Burtons comes to Blair and went back to using them right away. We'll eventually have to have them fix what the other company did, but they are busy enough with everything else going on at the house atm.Tbh, customer service people on the phone can get a bit snarky/ rude sometimes. But only 2 times was it memorable in over a decade and the second time someone actually apologized (that was recent) I guess being human has its quirks, who knew? Have never had a problem with anyone at the house and have never felt like they were taking advantage.What I love the best is they give you estimates, you get options before they do the work. From first visit to install it took 5 days!! From the initial visit to see what’s wrong to the installation. It was amazing. Frank inspected and was very knowledgeable and gave lots of info. . My technician Joe was exceptional. He wore foot covers into my house; was extraordinarily courteous and did an excellent job explaining the different options he had available for my issue. Your technician was so professional so neat and did everything in a timely manner and explain everything he was doing in layman‘s terms. He really knew what he was doing I was just blown away on the great job that he did.I now live in my moms house where she would not upgrade the sub pump hose And he replaced it with PVC pipe. These people are awesome. Frank came out to check on my furnace. He answered my questions, probably ones that didn't even apply. Showed me how to change the filters, which needed immediate replacement, advising that I order asap. Looked at my baseboard heaters, loosening them open so I could vacuum off the dust and dirt. Thoroughly explained the digital heater thermostat, a little confusing for me as I'd just moved here months prior. Just so helpful, I couldn't ask for better service. And the same goes for Jake and Jackie who just weeks ago unclogged my bathroom sink drains. So happy I found this service in Google. They're a keeper, I'd highly recommend them!

Brian and Herschel were totally professional. They hauled out the old system, replaced it with a new one, cleaned the place so it looked better than when they arrived, and we're very courteous and friendly the whole time.Burton did all of this just a day after my old system died in me, just in time for Memorial Day. Couldn't be happier.Edit: Even after there were some issues getting my new thermostat connected to my Wifi, Eric let me turn it in for a refund and had a tech come out to install one that I purchased myself. The whole system runs great.
Electrical work done in a timely manner, looks great, and Alex was very nice and professional. With that said after comparing prices and speaking with others it appears Burton is ridiculously over priced.A subsequent free HVAC inspection by a different technician, and salesman, attempted to convince me to replace my furnace the next day for a ridiculously high price as it was a “safety issue” and needed to sign a waiver if I was to turn my system back on myself. A second opinion by a recommended company let me know my older furnace was still functioning fine and gave me prices for a system replacement if interested, which was several thousand less for comparable equipment from a top quality manufacturer.Have heard from several others that Burton is way over priced and used scare tactics if it gets them a sale.Will never use them again.

I use to trust them. They have handled my plumbing issues satisfactory in the past. This time I needed HVAC as my Furnace went out, my 9 year old furnace. I agreed to the rush emergency response fee but their solution seemed excessive. Price was high, real high, just to get me going but said there were all these other problems and suggested new furnace. Then they weren't able to to give prices, just slimy used car salesman tactics with payment plan pricing and offering to upgrade this and that while doing. Rubbed me the wrong way, so told them I need a second opinion. The competitor I called came out within a few hours of my call, had heater running with a few checks in minutes. I paid for emergency service and the recommended maintenance which was less than a third of Burton's lowest price. He proceeded to also educate me what I was doing wrong that contributed to the furnace stopping on me in the first place and what I can do to get up and running again if the same problem occurs again. If Burton was honest and just said this what happened and this is what it will cost to fix instead of the hard sell trying to milk me for every dime I had, I would have probably been happy paying double than what I did. I would have not known better. This HVAC incident lost them my future plumbing business. The business I was happy with in the past because I didn't know better.

You’re wasting your time and money. I was told I needed a new sewer line. They didn’t want to try cleaning and said it was a waste of time. they just wanted to make a $14,500 sale off a young couple. I got a second opinion from MAJOR DRAIN, and they charged $237 for a cleaning and the ENTIRE line is 97% clear. I will NEVER call these scammers again. Richard miller is the quality control manager and said the only option is completely new sewer line. How do these people sleep at night? I worked with Jason Ridnour and Dylan Hamlin to install two water heaters in our home. Burton a/c heating and plumbing was completely professional with me. They responded quickly and came out to fix my overflowing toilet and drainage system in my basement at 9 pm. They talked me through the issues. They also walked me through the repair process. They understand the stresses associated with such problems. Matt Scherer and Stephen Bednar were extremely knowledgeable with their jobs. They are really awesome with service and they ACTUALLY care about their clients. 5/5 stars all the way around. Prices were also competitive and beat the last company who just came out and fixed the issue. Didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need.Frank was here this morning to do my annual furnace inspection. He actually was able to take pictures of the insides of the unit. I have been away from home for extended periods of time and had to do all of this long distance. Johnny was very helpful and followed through on a strange situation where an opossum had made its home in my return duct to my furnace. I really appreciate Burton!
I suppose my experience was alright for the first 30 minutes after the tech left. Just a whopping $5000 bill for a water heater replacement. A swift kick in the teeth but I hadn’t showered in several days and Burton had the earliest available appointment I could find.But 30 minutes after the tech left, I joined a Zoom call for work where a coworker of mine coincidentally was having his water heater replaced at the exact same time by a competing company. For $3200 less than what I paid. No joke. $1800 for the exact same model of water heater. Had I not been so desperate for a shower, I might have Googled around to find out that a typical 50 gallon water heater goes for like $800 retail and paused before forking over 5 grand.Every person in the conference call started sharing their Burton horror stories of being raked over the coals financially or being lied to about the severity of their repair just so the tech could pad the bill. I started asking around and literally every person I know who has called Burton has had an awful experience.Many spoofed their jingle: “Wallet’s hurtin? Don’t call Burton.”And I don’t think I could say it any better than that.
We had a pipe leaking off the main water valve in our house. The service was great. They were able to get out the next day and solve the issue. Great pricing and great service. Would definitely recommend.Update: We also had Burton do a full furnace & A/C replacement. They arrived within a few hours of the call, gave a detailed description of the issue with old furnace, and provided all of the options to repair the old unit as well as replace it with a new one. The original service tech, salesman, and install crew were all fantastic to work with throughout the process. They even helped reposition some items that were poorly designed on the old unit to make room for a future basement finish project.We will definitely be using Burton again for any plumbing/HVAC issues that arise in the future.

For the cost of the service call, a technician came out same day to inspect my broken air conditioner, and fully inspected both units in my house, identifying all issues with my system. The technician was great, walking me through what he was doing and providing photos of all inspected areas.
Phil was honest and made quick work of my plumbing issue.
Zach did my AC unit inspection and taught me a lot about how I can manage issues and prevent them if they come up in the future. Was able to explain a lot of it to me like I was 5 which is an incredibly difficult skill to attain. Cleaned my AC unit outside and it almost looks brand new.

I was and am always happy with Burton. Cody was awesome. He explained everything to me before doing any work. He actually showed up with the plan of doing no work and just inspecting but we and I mean me found some areas that needed work. He was super aware of my dog knowing she's a runner and did everything to make sure she didn't slip out the door. I highly recommend Cody. I hope nothing ever goes wrong but he gave me his number just in case. I call that personal service which is why I will always stay with Burton.

I was impressed that after 2 days we had a whole new HVAC system. It was a bit expensive, but I understand supply chain issues and inflation affected the pricing. However, this was more than made up for the speed, professionalism, and care that your techs provided. I will be definitely be referring your business to people who need your service.
Bad experience with Burton plumbing. I was quoted an astronomical cost for replacing two bathroom faucet sets, being advised it was so high because they were widespread and on granite. I mistakenly TRUSTED that information and believed that there was special expertise required to justify that cost of over $1700. It only took the service person three hours to complete the job. When I then called Burton, to understand why I was triple-charged (at least) for the service performed, it was explained to me that Burton charges that much for their ‘premium service’ because they can; because they are able to provide quick service. This was no emergency and did not require any special anything to complete the job. I feel very ripped off and disappointed.

Terrible company that I will not be using again. My pipes burst on Dec 24 like many others and Burton said they could come out the following Monday (Dec 26). My family was without water for these 2 days. Then on the 26th they inform me they will not be coming today but on Jan 2. Burton clearly pushed our appointment back to put others before us and tried to play it off as a misunderstanding. Now we have wasted 2 days that we could have been calling other plumbers. Do not use them.
My toilet needs to be completely swapped out for a new one, 2 faucets/drain systems replaced in 2 of my bathroom sinks, shut off values replaced on all fixtures, and finally the pressure relief value replaced. Mark was amazing! Not only was he on time initially to diagnose these issues, he was professional, courteous, and very thorough. He explained things very simply and used analogies to help me better understand how plumbing works well and not so well due to age or corrosion. I have an appointment tomorrow to have all these things replaced. If tomorrow goes just as well, I will continue to work with Burton always.
Very helpful, looked for additional things that I needed to have done. I’ve had many plumbers over the years and no one wanted to go into my crawl space but Jake didn’t bat an eye. While down there, they discovered an air vent that had disconnected and they reattached it for me. They were careful to respect my home and very friendly. Great experience! Also, they understood the financing and how it worked. They explained it in detail which was transparent and helped build my trust in them.

Most recent update: they never showed up to their agreed upon appointment. Never called for a heads up prior to missing the appointment. After the fact they said they were too busy. Never came back. Never finished the job.Update- I called Burton 3 times since receiving the mail from their lawyer. I left a couple of messages with their answering service, which included my call back phone number and information. No one called back. Today I called again and left a message with the gal who answered the phone - I believe it’s from the answering services they use because they always confirm the call back number. A couple hours later I received a call back from one of the managers. He said he had tried a different phone number they had on file for us and wasn’t able to get through. He said dispatch would call me to schedule someone to come finish the job. Allen did call me back and said he was the original tech that first came out. He said he had someone else come do the actual work, but then they were missing brackets for the cameras and that’s the reason the work was never completed.It seems we’ll get it resolved. Allen gave me his personal phone and said between the two of us we’ll be able to find the brackets and put this to bed. If I could offer one piece of advice for Burton: CLARIFY AND VERIFY before getting lawyers involved and filing liens.——————————————————————————We hired them to install 6 cameras. They installed 2 and sent a bill for $1,486.90. We thought they would come back and finish the job. Never called me once and now I have a letter from their lawyer stating “despite fully performing all its obligations…” which is simply not true. I have called them and left messages but still have to hear back. They filled a lien. Just a very strange way to handle the situation. They should have at least either a) completed the job. Or b) lowered the requested amount. Also, could’ve just called me. No need to hire a lawyer. Very disappointed.

Terrific service team, in the home, on the phone, and sales reps. They did our new furnace for a great price and excellent service. Always prompt, polite, and helpful. Had a clog in our main stack. Steve B. came out, assessed the symptoms, and then proceeded to give the Burton sales pitch for the 5-6 solutions. I reiterated we only needed the simple drain clearing sans pipe scrapes and warranties, and after a bit more of back and forth, the line was cleared for the simplest solution around $175. Not too bad considering it was after hours. Steve was a cool/nice guy who did the job well, and I'm only docking a star because one must hard-no the sales pitch upcharges.

These guys were awesome! They were super friendly and worked hard to get everything done that I asked. I got an appointment for a quote the day that I called and the work was done the next day! They didn't rush the job, they made sure everything was done right and done the best way that they could do it! They made a 4-way switch work that we couldn't figure out for months. They also installed the wiring and hookup for the hot tub we're getting. I would 100% use them again and refer them to everyone I know! Four guys came to my house, Jesse for the quote and Alex and two other who's names I forgot 🤦. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was done and I was happy with the work!

When it rains it pours but Burton was here for all my issues!!Michael came out to assess the situation after my AC went out in the blaze of summer. Even though he didn’t have fantastic news for me he helped call my home warranty company and then when that too failed he had a customer service rep come out.Cody was sent same day to give me options. Despite all the “bad”news we were able to get my AC prepared for install in a few short days. He even got me set up to fix my toilet.Derek and his teammate came out and they were fantastic putting in the AC and humidifier. They explained it all to me and how to help do the annual filter maintenance.Finally, Steve came out and help with my toilet issue. He was amazing explained so many things about what I needed to do. What I could and should do and advised get scheduled for some inspections!I will definitely be utilizing all their services again. All the members were super personal and did not judge when I asked some pretty ridiculous questions to understand what was/ should / or will be done.

Devin was fantastic! He was very profession, virtuous and really wanted to make sure I was taken care of more than making sure his company got the most out of me. They didn’t get much money out of me this time, but they did earn a repeat customer in me. So job well done.Update: one year later I had to have Devin come out again. Second time around I was just as impressed and delighted. I joked with him that I need need to put him in speed dial as I have and old house and lots of little kids abusing our plumbing. Single moms do not use this company!!! I’ve had to call Burton everything week for the last 3 weeks (unit was installed 3 weeks ago) to come look at my unit that wasn’t installed properly. I never had any issues with my old unit! I was also quoted a $167 monthly payment for 0% interest for 6 months and received a bill for $500 with interest. They took one look at me and thought they could hustle me!
had plugged sink drain, I took it apart but plug was further down the line, called Burton, they could come same day before 5pm, they called back later and said they couldn't make it, but could come next morning, which they did. after that everything went well.

I had a frozen pipe and it broke. I call Burton and they say yes of course we can work on it! to turn around and say we cant work on your home because it is a mobile home this is a lie because I have friends with mobile homes who have had Burton work on their houses for the same issue multiple times. These friends are how I got the number for Burton plumbing. Do better and don't lie to your clients because you don't want to do the work.
Update 1/23/20: Trent was all-star fixing my furnace during the winter cold. He went the extra mile to make sure that we were taken care of. If I could give him 6 stars, I would, I'll have to settle for 5 stars! Trent and Burton are the best!Eric and Justin were both great, timely, friendly and fast. Our Burton experience was great from start to finish. I called to get an inspection and cleaning service for my furnace before I turned it on this year. The service representative at Burton was very kind and had a great personality. She scheduled the technician for the next day.The day the technician was to arrive, I received a call from Burton early in the morning stating the time he will arrive. Within the time frame, the technician arrived, introduced himself, and started to work on my furnace. He was very knowledgeable about the unit and spoke to me about a few concerns he sees over his time. He started up my furnace and ensured it was working properly for this year as well as my humidifier.I will absolutely call Burton back for any and all heating and air conditioning needs.

Burton was contracted out to install a furnace in the home I eventually purchased. According to the technician, they were only tasked to install the furnace and connect the pipes to the existing infrastructure which yeah that's fine most of the time... except in my case the exhaust vent ended in my attic so for a year I've been living in a home that's basically had the equivalent of a car running in it. I only noticed what was going on because my wife noticed some signs of water damage coming from the attic which prompted me to climb up there. It seems like a really simple situation that could have been avoided if the original installer just cared enough to QC their work.If you are here then you probably don't know the ins and outs of these systems like me which is why I'd recommend going to a different company that cares about the quality of their work.

Burton installed a new furnace and ac unit in my house. They gave me one of the highest quotes but had available time to schedule and thought to have a good co since we're spending so much. The new ac unit installed was all scratched up and the pad is sitting on, had a hole by the connection, that was due to the tech soldering and burned the pad. Also the unit is full of scratches. The new furnace inside the house has a lot of dents. When MUD came out the inspector found water leaking into the electrical box of the furnace. Sales person never responded to my calls or contacted me back after the installation. Very disappointed especially when going with one of the most expensive co in town, you expect better service and attention to detail.

Burton Plumbing was out today to snake out a clogged drain. They are a little pricey, but are reliable and always do a good job. I have used them numerous times over the years and am always satisfied with what they do.

Dereck was very personable, professional and let us know what was going on during the entire A/C yearly check. He advised I was using the most expensive filters that were actually not beneficial to my unit, allergies or wallet. He found an issue that he was able to corrected the same day (and a day that was extremely hot) and helped to resolve a noise issue with the unit. I would request him to come out in the winter to check the furnace.
They thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why with an outdoor leaky faucet, the cost involved and after it was replaced another thorough explanation of the completed process. Very friendly and helpful. Very satisfactory service.

Burton is not honest at all. They take advantage of people...I was charged $700 to cap 2 pipes from my water heater. Highway robbery! But I needed the pipes capped so we could turn the water main on. It literally only took the plumber less than 5 minutes to do this work.

We needed the valves to washer replaced and also a slow drain in a stall shower cleared. Stephen came out and was very knowledgeable and thorough. Posting on behalf of my retired in laws. They called Burton to check out their hot water heater because it wasn’t working. After spending twenty minutes looking at it the tech said it needed a $1000 part or they could replace it with a $4500, $5500, or $8000 system. Thankfully they got a second opinion from another plumber. The actual issue was a pilot light turned off when BURTON did their furnace/ac replacement three days earlier. Avoid this scummy company and their up charging!!!!

Started morning off with discovery of completely clogged kitchen sinks (main sink and separate small bar sink) after running dishwasher that night. Called at 0630, thinking I'd be lucky to get service same day. Dispatcher was cheerful & friendly, took my info and said scheduler would call me. Got that call at 0810, asking if 0845 would be good time for service tech arrival. Received email confirming time, including service tech's picture. 0850, service tech (Dylan) arrived, complete with disposable shoe covers and face mask. Dylan checked sinks and basement, quickly assessed problem, and provided a number of service options ranging from basic all the way up to what I'll call Top Shelf. After selecting my choice, Dylan went straight to work to quickly complete repairs. By 0930, my drains were running free & clear. Throughout assessment and clearing the clog, Dylan was friendly and informative. From beginning to end, I could not be happier or more satisfied with service Burton provided.

Justin did a great job running a diagnostic on our furnace. He was thorough and honest best qualities I look for with your home service. Justin was also very nice and super helpful to making sure I understood what was going on and made sure to give options for the maintenance that was needed.

I had Burton install a new heat pump in my condo this May, and it has been a mess. They didn't configure it correctly, didn't include all of the needed equipment, and the install was generally sloppy (messy cabling, duct sealant slopped onto the joints). Plus, despite being a top of the line system, it can't keep the humidity below 70%. I've had to run a separate humidifier to keep mold from growing.I called soon after install to get it fixed. The first time, the tech though I was concerned with the humidifier (in June), then failed to configure the system. There are DIP switches on the control board, which he flipped randomly and then left. After, I read the manual and set it up myself; this helped a little, but not a lot.I called at least 3 more times to have someone else come out, and they've ghosted me each time. Make that at least 4, as I've written this review in the hours since they promised to call me right back. For $13k, I expected...well I expected a working AC.
Very good and quick work but a little expensive. Dude knows his stuff though… I guess you’re paying for the an expert though so you have peace of mind that the job is done right…

I had a really good experience through every part of the process. My furnace went out early afternoon on a Sunday and I was able to get someone on the phone that afternoon to schedule a technician to come out Monday morning to diagnos it. After determing I needed a new one, after a full and detailed explanation by the technician, the qualtity control manager was very respectful and worked hard with me to get the best deal. The installation team was really good. They went above what they needed to do for me to help me move my husbands truck, which it tightly parked in our garage.

Update: we use Burton’s VIP plan, and am happy with it. Our latest person doing the planned maintenance (Quintin O’Toole) was friendly, on time and professional. He did a good job of explaining recommended maintenance and giving costs & benefits.
Burton service was excellent. Phone call the day before confirming appointment, phone call morning of visit, email with photo of technician, and on time arrival. Quinton was professional, efficient, and did a good job explaining what was needed. Will definitely use them again.

We used Burton to have our kitchen drain cleared because it was not draining. Our technician, Preston Gillotte, was wonderful. He was professional, on time, explained everything he was going to do thoroughly, and successfully fixed our drain problem!I am very happy with the overall quality of service and affordable price.
Phil was able to come out a day earlier to review my options for a faulty water valve. He gave me multiple options at different price points to meet my immediate needs for repair.
Dillon was excellent, friendly and was great with my loud crazy dog. He was informative and efficient. My compressor wasn't working and he put in a capacitor. I'm not sure if the price was all that great but it is fixed and Burton's customer service is great. I also emailed office about the 15% for VIP customers and the office called right away and stated when they input the price VIP customers will automatically get that discount.

Our AC went out on the morning of 8/4. Burton was able to get out the same day to check it out. Our technician was professional and honest that my AC may or may not run by just replacing parts. He thoroughly explained what was going on and called to see if someone could get out to give us an estimate. Thankfully, they came back on Friday and gave me several options and took the time to clearly explain each option. They showed up again at 8am on Saturday. Took all day in the heat, but they were professional and explained all the aspects of my new AC/furnace system. Me and my kids were elated to wake up to a 75F house on Sunday. Technician was friendly, unfortunately she didn't make sure the AC was operational before she left. I had to request additional service visit the next day. Burton dispatched the next available technician and he arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. I will continue my service with Burton.

I tried to cancel the “membership” offered by Burton AC Heating & Plumbing the month after I was deceived into signing up for it after some overpriced plumbing work, but the customer service personnel “informed” me it would last a minimum of six months. I asked them to cancel it immediately when the six months were over. They did not cancel it. Today while reviewing my tax information I realized I’ve spent $119 over 11 months on my “membership” to Burton AC Heating & Plumbing. Burton AC Heating & Plumbing is so deceptive in their business practices I actually hired not one - but two - other plumbing contractors *other than Burton* to perform $2,000+ of plumbing repairs since beginning my “membership.” I don’t know who is cooking the books on their Google reviews, but buyer beware!
Our air conditioner went out during some of the hottest days last week, and without being able to afford a new unit at this time, we wanted to make sure the person who came to our house wouldn’t try to pitch us a bunch of products. When Chris, the technician, came for our appointment, he could not have been nicer and more knowledgeable! He took a look at our unit and very thoroughly explained what the issues are, of which there are many since it is an older unit. Chris was extremely understanding, compassionate, engaging, and friendly throughout the entire appointment. He presented all of the options, but in the end was able to accommodate the limited amount of repair we could afford at the time. We will definitely recommend and use Burton again based on this exceptional service experience. We are going to need a new unit sooner than later, and we know where we will start our search. Called these clowns because my parents heater wouldn't come on. $100 for them to look at it. No cleaning or repair just look.First guy they sent was JJ. He was nice, explained that every single part of my parents 10 year old Trane furnace was breaking down and the entire thing needed replaced. I thought that was kind of nuts since the previous furnace was 50 years old but I did know that the furnace had not been maintained properly by my elderly parents so ok. He did not diagnose why it would not come on though, just told me that the blower motor was leaking oil and would eventually not work and the condenser had a crack in it and would eventually fail. He sent a salesman to talk to me.The salesman was Ryan. Ryan actually seemed to want to help and seemed puzzled that JJ hadn't diagnosed the reason why the heater wouldn't come on. He diagnosed no power getting to the unit. He called for a second visit by a technician since it wasn't done correctly the first time.The next day (It had been late when Ryan left so I understand the delay) JJ returned with Craig. Craig immediately began bellyaching because the furnace was down 12 stairs and he just had knee surgery. Who'd have thought there might be stairs?Both Craig and JJ were very antagonistic and told us to just buy a new furnace because this one was junk. They spent all of 10 minutes looking at the furnace complaining that they weren't getting paid for this service call and diagnosed it as a faulty transformer gave us a $400 estimate for that and left.I replaced the transformer myself for $30 BTW and that wasn't it. Just an FYI.So I am out a hundred bucks for nothing but no answers and bad attitude. No heat and no closer to figuring out what is wrong. Space heaters in -13 degrees is great fun.

We are very appreciative of your timely response to our call for help on a very hot day. Your service man, Frank, was congenial, efficient, and explained the air conditioner’s problems and my options to my understanding. He quickly replaced needed parts, thoroughly cleaned the outside unit, and had it running again within minutes. Immediately after completion we received a call asking that I rate my Burton experience. I gave it an “8” out of 10. I would have given a “10” had I received a receipt and a breakout for the $715.14 we were charged for your services. Burton company has been very good to us. Always explaining what's happening with the initial problem, giving different values of estimates best for the situation to minimum they can do. We had Cody and Matt see us about a drain backing up. They both did a wonderful job answering questions and very personable. I had to have my drains unplugged. Burton did a great job! Very professional and friendly, answered all of my questions.
I'm a vip member with Burton, which I pay monthly for. Part of that package entitles me to a yearly HVAC inspection. After 2 cancelled and rescheduled, by them, appointments, the tech shows up and hour late for a 4 hour window appointment. He inspects our system and other than a few minor issues that will need addressing in the near future, the system was working fine. Half hour after he leaves the house just keeps getting warmer. I check on the AC and it is not working. Concerned he may have forgot to hook something back up, we called Burton back because the AC was working fine before he got there. They sent another tech out to check the system and he informed me that the compressor was done and there was nothing they could do about til monday because of getting parts for it. The timing of my AC going out right as the inspector left was suspect. Thinking I needed a new compressor, is reached out to another company to get a possible bid to replace. That tech came to my house, diagnosed the problem and had it working within 5 minutes without any new parts. I cant say for certain Burton was trying rip me off, or their techs just need to go back to school to learn their trade. But we ended up having to spend the night in a motel because I had Burton inspect my system.
Mr. Erikson came did a inspection on unit and shared what issues i had, and gave me good options that helped with my decision to just get system replaced. One option was explained as a Band-Aid and the other option which was more feasible and that was to replace system because of the age. Very pleased with the service.
Always prompt courteous and provides explanation of how to remedy any issues if needed.

Our furnace was going out quick (and the AC was not looking great, either). We contacted them and set up replacements within a very short time. They arrived on-time, and left before the projected end-time. While here, they inquired about pets, they respected my desire for quieter work during a period that I had to work at home, they always wore their booties, and were very thorough in cleaning up and making sure I understood how everything worked. A+ people!

Eric did a fantastic job. He was able to diagnose the issue, walk me through possible solutions and helped me realize that replacing our 18 year old unit was best course of action. I appreciated that he helped to point us in the right direction instead of just steering us toward fixing the old unit which would have continued to have him coming back out over the course of the next few years as it slowly nickel and dimed us. He did good work and gave great advice. Service like that is what is keeping us with Burton.

JJ and Drew were the technicians that came out for a full system check and to unclog a drain. JJ was great at detailing exactly what he was going to do and providing explanations of his findings. Jeremy did a great job with diagnosing and correcting our GFI issues. Also went over potential work and quotes on a much bigger job and I felt Jeremy provided an abundance of info on how it could be attacked, not only from a work perspective but also from a financing view. Although we have not proceeded with big job I believe with what Jeremy has presented we're in a better position to take the next step. In my opinion Jeremy represents Burton in the most positive way.
We had an ac check and Freon added to the ac unit. John Erickson was out technician. He was very nice and informative. He made sure the unit was working when he left.
our main line clogged Sunday night. Understandably they did not have anyone available. We then scheduled an appointment that night with them for next day at 1 pm. We received a text message at 1:50 saying they were on their way. They didn't even show.
My single, elderly female neighbor got a quote from you because she had a 4 foot piece of water line leaking in her basement. You quoted her over $10K to fix it, which included tearing up the street and trenching her yard because nobody wanted to look for her outside shutoff! Your man said she didn't have a stop box on her property!!... well its there. SHAME ON YOU!!!! No worries though, because someone else did the job for less than 10% of your bid. You guys are just horrible! I would give you negative stars if I could.

Frank and Johnny came out for an annual HVAC inspection and they did a great job letting me know what needs fixed and what to watch out for. They are great guys, have a good sense of humor and you can tell they really care about your situation and want to give you the best advice!
Daniel was personable and courteous. He explained everything he was doing in terms even a lay person can understand. The best thing is that he got my humidifier running properly again! No more zapping the dogs when I pet them. One slight problem - he said he would email me a copy of the pictures he took and the receipt for the work done. I have not received them.

I received notification of the time the person would arrive to service my air conditioning unit. He was very courteous, considerate when entering my house put on his shoe covers. Staff were very professional and friendly. Devon explained all options for replacing our basement toilet and was up front about problems that may arise due to previous installation and how that would affect costs. We have been long time customers of Burton due to consistent and excellent service.
The service tech, Allan, was very professional and knowledgeable. Allan finished a lot of projects in a single day. I felt he provided very sage advice about issues and repairs. Mark was very nice. I was really disappointed with Burton overall though. I had a shower faucet that needed a simple repair. Mark gave me five options... the cheapest being $626! I was shocked. He wanted to sell their water filtration system for $5600.We ended up purchasing the needed part on Amazon for $31 and replacing it ourselves. It literally took us under two minutes to do after watching a YouTube video. It would've taken a plumber less than 30 seconds.

Your technician, Keenan, came to our home with a kitchen sink plumbing issue. He was the most personable, well educated young man. I wanted to say thank you, again, to Keenan for solving our plumbing issue and that he is a huge asset to your company.
They came to fix my mom house but the cost is so expensive. Staff were friendly. Cost is more than 12K$. Not sure if they are ripping her off.

Plumber broke sewer grate, then unclogged drain. Said the $194.14 does not include the grate he distroyed. Repairing that is our problem. Plumber also damage our vehicle in the driveway with the motorized snake. We have it on our security camera.Once I get the estimate to fix I will forward to Burton. We are reviewing these actions to consider whether to continue doing business with Burton and posting my issues.
We had the check out our air conditioner and he did a very thorough job.

They give you options on how to attack your plumbing issues. The involvement and transparency makes for a great experience. Stephen was excellent, a true consummate professional. He's great even for a Green Bay Packers fan!!! ;) the thing that's really keeping it from being a five star review is being charged 200 bucks for a drain clear and the drain isn't really clear there's still standing water when showering. The snake was broken off in the drain and accidents happen. Stuff happens. Phil had to come out from Burton and kind of give me a rundown of everything.

So unhappy with this company. I have used Burton many times in the past, so when one of our toilets was leaking I called them for repair. An appointment was scheduled. The plumber showed up, but did not fix the toilet. He did however suggest we needed up to $5000 of plumbing services. None of it do we need nor did we request. When he left, the toilet was not fixed, he charged us for a diagnostic visit and wanted payment for some other person to come and fix the toilet 5 days later. So on the day the person who was actually supposed to fix the toilet was scheduled to come, I got a call telling me their technician was out sick, no one could come that day, and it would be 2 more days before anyone could come. And they had $170 of my money. So I cancelled the appointment. The person I was talking to couldn't refund my money, she had to have the plumber assigned to the project call me. When he did, he told me I would still be charged for the diagnostic visit. What diagnostic visit? I told them the toilet was leaking. When he came the toilet was leaking, when he left the toilet was leaking. He did not provide the service I asked for and needed - fix the leaking toilet. He said they would only refund $110. I didn't need to pay $60 to have someone tell me the toilet was leaking. I still have not received a refund. I called another plumbing company who came out the next day, fixed the leak and charged half the amount of Burton. So I now have a new plumbing company and will never use Burton again and will always recommend another company if anyone asks me about plumbing needs.

Terrible customer experience with Burton AC. My AC unit's not working and I had an appointment scheduled with them for a week. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and gave no indication of any backlog. They give me a window of time the tech would be out and they only called me with an hour left of the window to inform the tech couldn't make it this week (Friday). However, they could reschedule and make me wait another 5 days (Wednesday) and have someone come out.You probably need to pay their monthly vip service fee with Burton AC to get treated properly. I called a competitor immediately after getting cancelled by Burton AC and they were able to schedule much more quickly.Do yourself a favor and don't call Burton AC!
I had Jason here twice in the last couple of weeks for 2 separate issues. He was polite and explained everything to me. I appreciate his willingness to show me how he was fixing things. I recommend Jason and will ask for him any time I need something!

From start to finish Kristian was awesome. Personable from the get-go, he first walked me through the house and talked through the overall setup of my pipes and what could possibly be the problem. He then gave me options and prices on how I could proceed as well as a cost-effective best-practice way to proceed. He rather quickly had my pipe unclogged, and then when over and above to give me peace of mind that things were cleaned up by running a camera down my main line to ensure it was clear. (Being in the middle of a bathroom remodel, he had easy access to my toilet pipe.) A+ job! Highly recommend him for your plumbing needs! Thank you sir!

Great communication! I received a call within minutes of my online submission. I received a call the day of my appt stating they had earlier availability if I wanted to move up my appt. I then received a call from the office when the tech would be heading my way. I also received a call from the tech himself letting me know he was on his way and wanting to make sure that was OK. I will never call another company ever again. The technion that came out was knowledgable and friendly. They called to keep me informed when they would arrive and were quick with there repairs. Even though unclogging or snaking a drain is not the most fun they walked me through it and talked to me the whole time. If you want a company that cares call Burton! Eric has 11 years and it shows. I can honestly say they made spending money a fun experience.
Our technician was friendly, non-intrusive, polite, and pointed out everything he found that could use attention, but gave us realistic options and an educated opinion. He called when he knew he would be a bit later than planned, which I appreciated greatly.
Keaton did an amazing job! It was just a preventative maintenance check-up, but from the moment he walked inside I could tell the caliber of technicians they have were a cut above. Keaton was super friendly, even friendly to my cat Capone! He explained everything he was doing and his approach was not focused on selling me anything. He truly wanted to make sure I understood what my options were and even advised outside of a cleaning my furnace didn’t need any immediate repairs. He was very personable yet very knowledgeable. It was like having a buddy over versus stranger trying to sell me something.I would strongly recommend Burton and will definitely be doing business with them exclusively going forward!

Also explained options available through the company for future maintenance.1/29/2020 We bought a home and in the process of moving we have replaced the water softener, the hot water heater and the furnace. Each time the workmen were courteous, took care to protect our hard wood floors and cleaned up afterward. We were impressed at the way the workmen conducted themselves, the quality of their work and their great customer service.
Easy from beginning to end. Had a little hiccup with financing, but once I was approved for a loan through my bank, everything took place within 48 hours. Very professional, nice, and knowledgeable. Hopefully I never have to buy from you again, but if I do, I'll choose Burton.

We’ve been with Burton for a few years. They stay in communication as to when they arrive, easy to get ahold of , and keep a detailed list of what has been done. Our technicians are always wonderful and caring to work with. Chris, Mark, Trent and others are very respectful (of property as well), have extensive knowledge, and professional.
First of all, Burton was able to send a tech out much faster than other businesses I contacted. The tech I met, Frank Christensen, was knowledgeable, professional and very honest. I was told by Frank that I needed a new system installed because mine was outdated and going out. He set up a salesman, Ken Horton, to come out within the hour. Ken is a stand up guy and I trusted him quickly. He worked with me and explained everything to a T. We came to an agreement and he set up an install team to come out the very next day. The install team, Dillon, Travis, and the team leads name escapes me and I’m sorry for that but he was awesome. They were in and out in a day, which was amazing. They left my property as clean as they found it. From start to finish, the whole process was easy and worth every penny. Thanks Burton team!

First and foremost, I want to say, Chris V was outstanding! I was warned about the price, that Burton was good but expensive, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The negative reviews mention aggressive selling, and even though Chris did recommend services that could help me, he wasn't high pressure. and didn't push anything on me. When it's not stupid cold, I will return to Burton for the recommended upgrades and for any other emergency jobs they will be my first call. I am extremely thankful for the help Chris provided and he was, friendly, polite, and kind. My dogs loved him and they're excellent judges of character.
Our AC decided to stop working on the hottest day of the year. Despite being swamped the dispatcher (Ross) asked about the symptoms and sent a technician. I was surprised to get a text just 2 hours later saying Dillon was on his way. Once here Dillon listened to our description of the problem and quickly went to work. He kept us apprised of his findings and repair recommendations. I appreciate Burton’s quick response and Dillion’s expertise and professionalism.
Bought a brand new AC and furnace. Fair price and were able to complete the work in a timely manner. I left 2 stars because I am now forced to pay over $2700 more in financing because their sales team, setting me up with subpar financing just to get me on the schedule tomorrow. I called the better financing company as a follow up and they immediately approved me and said I should not have been denied and Burton should have called their marchant line. Now I pay $143/mo at 8.99% instead of $112/mo at 5%. That's $30/month for 7.5 years!! I've been trying to get ahold of Burton for several weeks with no response.
Steve was great with assessing our plumbing issues. He gave us several options on how to repair/replace our backflow system, incorporating his specialist Richard. They came up with a solution that will improve our situation, all at a very reasonable price.

I thought I had a clogged mainline causing water to back up in the basement drain when we used the dishwasher. I wanted a price over the phone but was told the technician would need to see the issue but there was no cost to inspect so I agreed and made an appointment for the same morning. Bill Sears arrived within the 1 hour window I agreed too. He quickly diagnosed the issue was not the main line but a secondary line and gave me several price options that included the advertised $88 sale price. I elected to do a more expensive drain cleaning with a warranty. Bill’s professionalism, knowledge and explanations were a large part of my decision. He also used a camera to inspect my mainline and gave me some tips and advice on other work I want to have done.

I’m a first time home owner of a very old home. Several weeks ago a storm took out several large branches in my tree. It destroyed my shed, ruined my fence, took down my Powerline and ripped the meter off of the house. I was without electricity for 2 weeks. The power company was a nightmare to deal with. My insurance company has been a nightmare to deal with. But Burton has been nothing but helpful, professional and my light during this frustrating process! The tech Jeremy Miller came to my home to assess the damage. He guided me through the whole process step-by-step and even anticipated my worries, giving me tips and answering my questions before I could even ask! I’m sure I was frustrating to deal with but he made me feel heard, helped and reassured. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Chris but I did meet Alex, and they worked on my home those two days (which were almost 100 degrees out). Alex walked me through the changes and explained things clearly to me. He kindly answered all of my questions. Their work is clean and working fantastically! They all truly went above and beyond. Called them out to look at our AC unit and determine why it wasn't working. Technician immediately said the whole thing was fried and I needed a new one. He was very quick to set up a meeting with a salesperson. I called another company for a second opinion and they determined that a single wire had gone bad. They replaced it and the unit ran great all summer. People, please stop calling this sketchy company
We called Burton for the first time today (after we compared pricing for an inspection call in which Burton was better) because our AC outdoor unit was making an unusual noise. We watched and learned a lot from Justin about our AC and furnace. He answered many questions and showed us areas of concern in our AC and furnace. He went above and beyond what we were expecting. My husband and I like Justin a lot and we hope we can have him back in the future. We were impressed with all the inspections and photos he took that will be stored on our new record. I asked him about the VIP Membership and we thought the price was excellent for all that is included. I (as an RN) also appreciated the Burton Covid safety measures that were clearly displayed and receiving a photo of Justin before he arrived. Absolutely ridiculous. Bought a heater from them as well as paid for the “VIP” service. Haven’t had the heat/AC for more than 4-5 months and turn on the heater and there’s water running out of it. They then say they can’t get anyone out to look at it for at least 48 hrs. They’re expensive and now apparently their service is awful. Kenneth, the one I spoke to was not helpful in any way and refused to let me talk to someone else. Awful business.

Summary: very in professional; will not communicate with customers; caught our furnace on fire during routine inspection and did not fix properly; 5+ hours late to repair furnace and without heat in our home with no time estimate on when they will arriveFull Story: Burton showed up a few days early for the annual furnace inspection on our 2 year old furnance. We were told that our warranty would be void if they could conduct the inspection that day. Remote access was granted to the home out of fear of losing the warranty on our furnace. While they were inspecting the furnace they caught it on fire. The damaged part was replaced and we were told everything would be fine despite our hesitation and unease of trusting the furnace. While trying to get the repairs done for the damaged part and a senior technician out to the house to inspect to make sure everything was fine, no one communicated with us. I called 5+ times to get an estimate on how long it would take for him to arrive and was always sent to voicemail. Turns out they were calling other customers and dispatched the senior technician to a different home because they did not confirm our address and contact information.Fast forward less than a month and our furnace is completely broken (again despite it only being 2 years old). We were told the tech would be at the house and he is 5 hours late and we CANNOT get ahold of anyone. We have called every half hour and left several voicemails and no one is returning our calls. It is 10 degrees outside and we are struggling to keep our house warm. Some kind of update on when a tech could be at our house would have been appreciated. Additionally, we pay $10/month to be “premium” members so that we can get emergency repairs and get in touch with someone during non business hours. This has been a complete scam.
Darin and Dylan stopped by late Friday to fix our basement flooded with sewage. These guys were upbeat, professional, and worked quickly. They were honest in their estimate and gave us friendly insight into how to prevent these in the future as well as how to restore the basement. They took care of calling a restoration company right then and there and hooked us up with an appointment into the company’s already booked schedule. I can not recommend them enough. They are the absolute best. We had as much fun as one can with a sewage pooled basement!
John was a very nice man with a good knowledge about furnaces and a/c ‘s and was very thorough. He explained things to where I could understand. Burton has a good service man in John Erickson.

The products are top of the line (we went with Trane) and we can’t believe how quickly they work and the energy they save! The service we have received has been top notch. The technicians have all been prompt, professional, courteous, and kind. All while working quickly and efficiently. We worked with Ryan Kellams twice as our Quality Control Manager, and we could not be more pleased. Ryan is so great to work with and he works so hard on behalf of his clients. A truly genuine person and we appreciate him and all he has done for us! We won’t go anywhere else!

Jason was great! He came on very short notice on a Saturday afternoon and fixed our issue. A pipe that was feeding water to our humidifier had broken and was spraying water all over our basement. Jason not only diagnosed the issue quickly but recommended and installed a different and better mechanism that should permanently fix the issue. He also gave me advice on how and when to use the humidifier. Thanks Jason!

I've only had positive experiences with Burton AC Heating Plumbing and More. I've worked with Jason and Josh (for plumbing/drain issues) and Jeremy (for electrical work) and all were pleasant. Maybe its because we all have names that start with J...Communication and thorough explanation of service is top notch at Burton. I always feel educated and supported along the way. 10/10 recommend using them for all your A/C, heating, plumbing, electrical needs!
Called Burton for an estimate. I was informed that there would be a $89 charge for someone to come out. I told them that I would pass. Then they asked if I would feel better if it was only $45. I told them no. Then I was told that since I was a first-time customer, it would be free. It seemed a bit shady, but I agreed. I was told that someone would be by the next day sometime after 1 pm. I took off work early and waited at home. 4pm rolled around, and I received an automated text stating that they were too busy to come out that day. The next week, I just happened to be home and got a call that a technician was on their way over. The tech was very nice and personable. Took him only 10 minutes to figure out what I needed to have an outdoor gas line added for a fire pit. He estimated 60' of gas line coming straight off my gas meter and buried 18. I was given an estimate of over $5200...

The service provided was routine maintenance and checking the system. The gentleman that came to provide service was professional, genuine, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my questions, make appropriate recommendations without trying to up sell me on something I don't need like a lot of other places. This made me feel very valued as a customer. Unlike the last drain inspection done in May 2022(not the same technician) he asked about the outside septic access. He discovered, with the scope and showed me, it was full. He said Burton could come today to pump. The lady tech did not even ask if we had something outside nor did he look.

Scheduling through Burton has been a bit of a pain these past few months but once here, the service has been great.He identified issues with our system and promptly supplied estimates and fixes. Knowledgeable, he answered my questions with ease. Friendly too.

We were preparing to upgrade our washing machine and discovered the water shut-off valves had frozen open. We called Burton and spoke to Sheri (sp?) who is a sweetheart. She was able to fit us in the next day which was better turn-around than we expected. Surprisingly, she contacted us later that day to inform us they had an opening that same day if we were available. We were! Phil R. came by and took care of our issue and is very professional and friendly. I would not hesitate in the future to call Burton if I need a plumber.

The sales person lied to me about promo rate for 24 months and still paying 9.9% interest rate for the remaining loan agreement between Burton's and Wells Fargo. If you are discussing the financing agreement with Burton sales person, please use your phone camera on everything on the ipad (sales person) so you will have some evidences. Unfortunately, I had very lack of evidences because the sales person withheld the contract. Hopefully, you will take picture of everything on ipad to prove if the sales person is honest or not. We worked with Burton AC Heating and Plumbing in the purchase of a new furnace for the home we purchased about 2 years ago. We moved to a high efficiency unit. The whole process from first hello to completion of installation was top notch. We're very satisfied and highly recommend their services. Our salesman was Matt. He gets a high-five for his work. Installation team was excellent.
Let's talk about the Burton Scam. My personal experience was regarding a toilet I needed installed properly. I had 75% of the work done MYSELF as the previous toilet was removed and all I needed was a good seal to the floor and internals swapped which I had already bought a kit for a nearly new toilet. The phone operator over the weekend discussed a nearly $200 fee just to check the scene on a weekend or wait till a weekday for around 65$. Remind you this is just to check out your situation. The scam is charging a high price and over quoting unsuspecting customers on repairs. They were looking for well over 1.2K$ to change 1 toilet that had already been removed. If you have any sense do some research and save yourself the ridiculous prices this company charges for their services. Plumbing is an easy yet messy job and that's all. I ended up completing the job myself for less than 45$. Mind you I still had pay the 65$+ for someone to come and inspect my situation. This company charges incredibly high prices to simply verify your situation. They will turn that around on you again by demanding an obscene amount of money to help you solve your problem no matter your knowledge base in plumbing. Do not fall victim to the Burton scam. Just out of curiosity when did plumbers start getting paid like Surgeons at 500+$ an hour?

We used Burton to install a Level 2 charging station and new wiring for an electric vehicle in our detached garage. The electricians were easy to work with, showed up on time and very clear in communication and handling expectations. The work was done in a high quality manner. Modern approaches like signing the contract and paying via their iPad were nice touches as well.
Did minor fix of toilet. Also checked our HVAC and water softener for leaks even though he didn’t have to. Made minor fixes and gave advice on keeping lines clear and flowing, and proper type of home air filter to buy. Very nice guy too.
A Burton representative sat with me while I called my insurance company after a washer leak. This person greatly encouraged me to lie and say the damage was a lot worse than it actually was. He also told me to let the water sit in the basement and not clean it up so it got worse.

Used them for various plumbing repairs and updates to my home. Zach came out and checked our whole house humidifier and did a furnace inspection. He was able to assess our humidifier and determined it was doing its job properly. He was extremely honest and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Burton isn't cheap but they do good work, employ honest technicians, and guarantee their work. You get what you pay for and Burton has yet to disappoint.

We had a Saturday toilet emergency and he arrived earlier than the stated time (after calling first to make sure it was ok) and was very quick but thorough in fixing our problem, after giving us a few repair options to choose from. He also did a great job with cleaning up after he was finished. Highly recommended Burton, and ask for Ken!
They keep cancelling my appointment or not actually scheduling us when they say they do. The gentleman who finally serviced our air unit was very professional. Just wish the scheduling crew would get it together.

Hey... My Experience with Burton...I made the appointment... Appointment time was missed - but Burton was very cool and made up for the missed appointment by waiving the consultation fee - really kind of them.When the technician did arrive, this guy was very good. He really knew his trade. He and I walked through my house and inspected every faucet and drain - regardless of what I initially requested. He insisted in inspecting everything for my protection and Burton's protection - very fair!Once the inspection was complete, the technician presented me with various options - in writing - with work warranties - to choose from before proceeding with the services. Once I selected, he went right to work, keeping all work areas very tidy and dry. I did not even hear the equipment running that he was using. I was expecting a chorus of sounds - but all went quietly, while I conducted my business on the phone. Very appreciated!!One problem did arise, but together, we determined the cause of the problem and the immediate remedy - no problem, no mess, no headache, no costs.Friendly, professional, fairly priced, great people.

I had two outdoor outlets installed. They were quick to respond and get the job done. I was given time estimates of a month from other companies and Burton got it done in 2 days.They were more expensive than other quotes I got but they were alot quicker.Cons- the lady that answers the phone and initially sets up my initial visit could be nicer. I was told I'd have to pay $80 for a diagnostic visit. The diagnosis was ... I needed outlets. She did waive the $80 after I told her No & Goodbye. Good choice or I would have spent my $$$ elsewhere.

Back in late January, early February I had one of the main lines in my house back up. I recommended to my husband that we use Burton since I've always heard good things about them. Will not ever use Burton again after what we went through. My husband has been working with a Cody who is supposed to do all the scheduling and whatnot. He is terrible with communication. Having techs show up to my house when they weren't scheduled to and not having anyone show up when they were scheduled to. My husband cannot get a hold of this Cody and had to go a completely different route to just figure out why no one is showing up. As of today, we STILL have a hole in our basement, but at least the techs left the bag of cement! As this rate, I am going to do it myself. So if you end up using burton and get stuck with this Cody, good luck.

My rating went from 2 stars to 1. This company doesn't listen to what the customer asks.First trip- removed my AC unit to pour a patio. Ask them NOT to ring the door bell because wife works from home and was on a call instead of calling me. Rang the bell, dogs go crazy!Second call- took off a whole afternoon for the next appointment (which I find ridiculous) I work for a home service company and we schedule I'm 2 hour windows. Called me at 4:20 to tell me the tech doesn't have the correct tools to hook AC unit back up. Also tells me that it takes 3-4 hours to do the work. So why didn't they call me sooner?Now I'll be taking an other 1/2 day off work. And have been offered any compensation or discounts for service.
Burton replaced our heating and cooling system in October of 2021. VIP services were supposedly included in cost of system. We called in March to schedule system maintenance for April. The appointment has been rescheduled the day services were supposed to be performed 3 times. Today they claim July will be the next time they have a service tech available. We are disappointed in the lack of service given the cost of the systems. Consider other options.
Roto Rooter came and made a bigger issue for us, they came out and cleaned it all up. They were wonderful!

I do not recommend this company at all. Pricing was outrageous and they wouldn’t give me a breakdown of costs. I would have liked to see a the details and cost for each item, labor, etc. We ended up replacing the water heater, furnace, and AC unit. For $18k I think a detailed receipt is not too much to ask for. When I questioned and asked for more information I was given the run around and told he can’t do it, he doesn’t have it, etc. So we were sitting there red tagged and needed to get on the schedule ASAP as it would be negative degrees the next day, I felt backed into a corner. As a first time home owner I really wanted to feel comfortable making this decision and did not. I also have a feeling it wasn’t totally necessary to replace the AC unit. I would have felt better knowing in more detail what we were purchasing. These sales tactics are so slimy.
Zack with Burton came over for an AC diagnostic. He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He did excellent job explaining the unit’s issues and our options moving forward. Plus, he was a dog lover and allowed my pup to be his assistant while he worked. Would definitely recommend Zack from Burton to friends and neighbors.

I’m giving Burton a 4 star because Shawn and Jake were great. Nice guys and explained everything thoroughly, very professional. The reason for not giving a 5 is due to prices. Had my guest bathroom drains cleaned out and replace some pipes under the sink and with my VIP discount it still cost me over $660. Also had electrical work done and that added up to over $680. So in one week Burton's VIP prog still cost me $1200+.

When we called Burton they were very helpful to get a technician to our house right away even though they were booked. When Stephen arrived he got the drain unclogged right away. We also had an issue with our sewer line going into the main. Our tree roots damaged the piping. He was upfront about the damage and recommended we get a full inspection done and setup a supervisor to come out. We will be getting the pipe fixed through Burton. Thank you.

Eric Frazier and Drew Cable arrived at the scheduled time and were very courteous and thorough, explaining and showing me the issues with my furnace.
Personally I will not be using the service of Burton any more. They refuse to communicate. Couldn't bother to tell us when a project would begin. Project was supposed to be one day and wasn't completed for several months. Was told project would be finished up before then and took two days off work in order to facilitate, no one showed up or called. Had to contest the charges with the bank in order to finally get them to return my call. Asked for them to schedule time to finish the work, no one called they just randomly showed up at my house with zerowarning. Very unpleasant and unprofessional.Edit: Burtons response to my original message above has to be a joke right? They can manage to charge me several thousand dollars but cannot find my service record? My sinks been clogged for over a month. I tried everything to fix it on my own. Bill was upfront about costs and what he expected with the drain. He gave a ton of good information on why this clog likely happened as well as how to prevent it from happening again. He gave recommendations for other work the business can offer me but wasn’t overly pushy about it. 10/10.

Amazing professionals. We were new home owners. Technicians corrected a unique installation previously done by Apollo with the previous home owners. They then helped us with Train warranty transfer and provided invaluable home maintenance insights for life in the mid-West. Plus, they were very friendly, . . . overall an enjoyable experience even though the needed repairs were quite expensive.

Jake was great! Y'all are lucky to have him on your team. He was responsive and very knowledgeable. He fixed our issue very quickly and shared great recommendations to avoid future problems. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Drew checked the system, and showed me the various areas of concern, explained conditions, described work to be done, and answered all my questions. He was friendly, patient with my questions and gave lots of good information. Highly recommend him.
Burton came out to inspect our furnace to ensure that everything was running in tip top shape. Ross, who was our technician, was very professional in addressing any concerns that we might have about the future production of our furnace. A couple years ago, we had a leak which finally showed up as a spot on the garage ceiling. It required mold remediation and ceiling replacement in addition to the plumbing issue. Jason made the arrangements with two subs to handle the non-plumbing issues. All work was completed in a timely manner.This year it was a plugged kitchen sink. Keenan was quite personable and also quite competent. He cleared the drain and then cleaned up the slight mess created. We were very pleased.

Steve was fantastic with explaining all aspects of his findings during our plumbing and drain inspection. He gave us options for how to fix a problem we were having in our master bathroom regarding a sewer smell, with the findings being as simple as making sure the drain in our shower has water in it after flushing the toilet multiple times. He was very honest with how simple it was to fix the issue we were having (flushing toilet was causing a vaccum issue in the drain) after doing a thorough inspection, pulling our toilet and sending a camera down our line. He was very thoughtful and respectful of our home, wore booties over his shoes, cleaned each area he workedin, cleaned faucet heads to achieve better water flow and took great care to leave things just like they were after working in each area! Everything from communication from Burton about who would be coming to our home, Steve (the worker) calling to say he was 15 minutes away and then being on time, to the service provided was phenomenal!
Stephen did a great job. Been having issues with one toilet in my house and he was able to identify what the problem was and fix same day. Stephen made the process as painless as possible.

After I purchased my home 30+years ago I always knew that I had a vent in this particular room, never blew hot or cold air so I figured it was a cold air vent. Long story shorter we remodeled our kitchen and learned that the wood on our addition was rotten. Had to tear everything out & put up steal Beams & these pillars every few feet to help it not sink anymore. Found out this vent was a heat vent that came apart either right away or shortly afterwards.We were unable to put it together due to hand issues. I already had a membership with Burton so called them & they came the next day! This poor guy had to crawl in this space and the area he was working in barely fit a flashlight standing up. So worth the money!

Called about our faulty A/C unit. The sales guy comes and writes my mom a $8,000 estimate. They wanted to replace the whole unit (which is only 5 years old). We called a certified friend to look at the unit. It was a $500 repair. Our A/C has been working just fine for 2 weeks now. This business is operated by shady characters that want to take advantage of naive customers and sell new units instead of fix existing ones. The sales guy makes commission and splits it with the repair guy. Do NOT use these predatory sales people.

From our first inquiry on their very user friendly website we felt immediately taken care of. The time between asking for a consultation and getting our HVAC system installed was less than 72 hours. Ken was incredible about talking us through our options, and I never felt like we were being sold anything we didn’t need. Ken, Amber, and Lisa worked with us to make sure we were getting the best deal within our budget before we signed anything. James led the install of our new system and he and his partner made sure we were 100% comfortable and prepared to take care of and work with the new equipment. I have never received such incredible customer service. 10/10 would recommend!
Burton was not only the only company that called us back, but were at our house first thing the following morning after the incident happened. They were professional, polite, and helped with all of the issues. I cannot say anything bad about them as they helped our family get power restored safely to our house and heating/cooling. We are very grateful and will continue to use their services.

Dylan came out to camera my main line and did a great job! He was friendly and asked a lot of questions. The camera that Burton used was much clearer then another company that I had come out, the screen was a lot bigger as well so it was much easier to see what was going on.
Everyone I dealt with at Skradski was wonderful. From Phil helping with our initial diagnosis through the group of gentleman who installed our new system. They we informative, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I couldn’t have asked for better.
The gentlemen that came over from Burton was very kind and professional. He got the job done in an hour! I thought he did a great job- thank you Mark!Everything leading up to his visit was less pleasant. Our appointment was the day before and that evening I got a call saying he wouldn’t be able to come out. That part was fine, schedules change and things don’t go as planned. What I did not appreciate was getting crabbed at by a gentleman about my phone supposedly not working. I am sorry it took you 10 tried to get through and my phone rang 16 times before I picked up. My husband called my 20min later and he said it only rang 2 times and had no issues.

Burton has gone above and beyond. They've helped me with two hvac systems and they know their stuff. Sales people are friendly, techs are knowledgeable, and install crews were respectful and professional. I thought they'd be more expensive than other teams in town, but they worked with my budget and I will be recommending them to anyone who needs hvac support.

I had a very respectful gentleman come to my home. He assesed my situation with my 11 year old furnace. My furnace kept going out when the cold spells were too much for it to handle. He cleaned up the filter and furnace. Fortunately for now it is continuing to run. He gave me a quote for the replacement of the current furnace. Our service technician Matt was great to work with from start to finish. We were notified of his estimated arrival time, when he was just a few minutes out, and then they also called my husband at work to let him know they had completed the job. He was respectful from the minute he arrived and took care in covering his shoes before entering to not track any of the winter mess inside of our home. He assessed our situation and explained he was going to prepare a few options for us and go over them with me. Once he had the options ready, he thoroughly explained each of them. This was our first time working with Burton and he explained the costs and coverage with each option very well. No one ever likes to have unexpected home repairs right before Christmas so I was stressed about making the right decision for us financially and that would work well for us in the long run. I can't say enough good things about how patient Matt was while I went back and forth on what decision, spoke with my husband over the phone, and asked Matt to go over the options with me MULTIPLE times. I didn't ever feel rushed or pressured to make a decision and that he was just trying to sell me something /services. I felt like he was a trustworthy technician and comfortable with him in my home as a representative of Burton. I would recommend Burton to others and definitely call them back in the future if needed.
We called Burton to have our centralized HVAC, our furnace, and our split unit maintenanced. John showed up exactly as he said he would and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was cleaned and working optimally. We explained to Zach what had happened and he was able to determine what had possibly occurred. My tech was JJ Williams. He did a thorough job and explained items in detail. He was personable and professional. He asked if I had any questions and made sure I was satisfied with his visit. A good tech. He’s a keeper.

They do not call back when you have a question. I have called them for the last three weeks on a question around warranty. Get the run around.
Dishonest technicians only directed to tell you the system needs replaces. We own multiple properties and on all 3 Heaters, 1 AC and 1 water heater they claimed full replacement was needed. 3 other companies gave opinions and in all cases said Burton was wrong. Their quotes were on average 3 times higher than competitors. Our first visit was a water heater that they of course said needs replaced. We did it and had to have them back 5 times for malfunction. Each time we had to dispute a trip charge due to warranty. We also got roped into their service plan, which they are now giving us problems canceling. Stay away and call someone else!
Burton put very little value on my time as a person and even less value on me as a customer as a result.I was made to feel as though I didn't matter as a customer. I scheduled a minor repair to a pipe to take place 5 days in advance of the work. I also emphasized the significance of ensuring the work was done in the morning.When the day of the work arrived, I had to take a day of vacation to be home during the process. I even called first thing in the morning to confirm that someone would be coming to my house to perform the work sometime from 8 to noon.At 11:00, I received a call telling me the time frame was no longer doable and was given four different excuses at different times throughout the call as to why. The person I spoke to seemed more adept at jumping in and making excuses than offering solutions. When options were finally discussed, none of which worked with my schedule without having to take yet another day of vacation.As a customer, I feel like I did all the things I could for the experience to go smoothly by giving plenty of advance notice, calling to confirm...I even had everything moved away from the area around the pipe and a clean and clear path to the work area.I know I said it earlier, but Burton made me feel like I did not matter as a customer.Under no circumstances would I recommend the company or its services.
Frank C came out to do the seasonal check on our furnace systems (we have two). This is the first time Frank has been to our home and I found him extremely helpful and easy to work with. There were some issues with the filters I have been using and Frank was especially helpful in explaining the differences and what I could expect with different filters. I found myself watching as he went over the furnaces which I usually don't bother doing. He was very patient with my many questions and I actually enjoyed the experience. I made certain to ask for his business card so I can request him in the future.

Eric arrived on time and immediately asked questions about my service record and my needs. He was a great listener and kept me informed on what he was doing. At the end of the service call, he gave me options to improve my system and was always looking for ways he could do more. I am a VIP member of Burton. I had scheduled to come to check my AC in April. They did not show up due to the emergency and rescheduled again on May 11th; they did not show up again due to the emergency. They put me back to some time July for an AC system check. They automatically pull my money without rescheduling. This is a really ridiculous service they provided. Burton's Owner needs to look at this.
Dillion and Eric were excellent and appreciated the job they did to get my heat working again. Also checked the AC to make sure it was working properly and recommended replacing due to age.
Once again we found ourselves in trouble with a faucet that won't seal or turn off in our garage. Not to mention it being a weekend again. Searching around we ran into offers of help days out. A quick search online led us to Burton and we can say without a doubt they are our plumbers moving forward. Jason in particular saved the day for us. He came out late in the evening on Saturday to help us through another water nightmare. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and set us at ease with his genuine concern. He was quick and proficient and made this situation a little less overwhelming. Thank you Jason!!

I had an excellent experience, the technician was very thorough. He took care of the problem with my furnace in record time. He explained to us with clarity the possibility of some future repairs. He showed us pictures of the possible future repairs. He quoted the price of cleaning the furnace and also cleaning my air conditioning unit. We are very satisfied with the work he did and plan to use Burton's in the future. He was Very respectful and it was a professional job well done.
Just had the $55 +5 furnace safety inspection and cleaning done. The service technician, Frank C., was excellent. He conducted a very thorough inspection and cleaning, was very helpful about answering my questions, also explained what he was doing and why? He talked with me and pointed out items that will need attention and why. Based on the age of my furnace and also that there were several items that would need attention in the not so distant future he offered to the option to set up an appointment with a sales consultant to understand the costs of replacing the system -vs- repair costs. This was certainly not a surprise, but there was zero hard sell, which I very much appreciated. One of the best home service experiences I've had.
Scam company pretend you have something wrong with your pipe and call a camera man to come sell you a new pipe just because they want money commission employees they will go as far as telling you they felt something wasn't right but it's all an act.... don't fall for the scam can't forget about the give me a 5 star review as I stand over your shoulder waiting for the review ✨️ great job Burton 👏 if anyone reads this stir far away frome these guys biggest scam in the business in all departments don't trust Burton.

This guy just tried to charge me $800 to fix a compressor and lock us into a service contact. I wasn’t there he had to speak with my wife. Highway robbery. AVOID!!! I’ll fix myself when I get home, I can buy a new unit for that! SCAM!UPDATE: I had another company come out on a holiday. Cost of repair was $300 including the part. It needed a new capacitor. That was it. AC is running again. So the response given by the company just isn't true.

Had an issue with lack of power to my doorbell so I called Burton to have someone check it out. Good thing I did. Shawn came out and almost immediately found some wires that were busy frying themselves that killed the transformer. The wires also had contact with the furnace so he got Frank to come out and take a look to see if anything was effected. Both Shawn and Frank were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional which is why I like using Burton.Five stars all around.

I have used Burton 3x now and I find everyone is courteous and polite. They are knowledgeable and work quickly. They show up when they say they will. Give options for repair work. I will continue to call Burton for my electrical and plumbing work in the future. They have fixed water leaks, installed new toilets, new fire alarms, new ceiling fans for me.
My strong advice is to not employ this dishonest, disputable company. I called them to look into our A/C unit which was not working as it should. After spending $2500 for a part, the technician told me that due to leaking from the A/C unit onto the furnace rail I was risking fire if I were to used the furnace. I was pressed to purchase a completely new furnace but asked them to just order new rail instead. After being initially told it would take a week or so at most the part always seemed to be lost in transit. As the weather was getting colder I was constantly pressured to get a new furnace. Instead I got a second honest company to look at the unit and basically said Burton had misled me. There was no structural issue with the fuel rail and the entire issue was resolved for under $200! After trying to discuss the issue with their manager Derrick and asking for at least a partial refund of the initial A/C work (which I now had no faith was necessary) he laughed and said “that wasn’t happening.” Burton is the kind of business that is only concerned with their bottom line and will use scare tactics and dishonesty to add to it. Stay away from this ripoff outfit!!!

I didn't want to write a negative review, but my most recent interaction with Burton and their salesman made me feel the need to. We had a tech come out for a furnace inspection. The tech then told us that the entire HVAC needed replaced and kept pushing for a free consultation with a salesperson. I agreed. This salesperson came and spoke with me and I informed him we are getting a second opinion, which he tried to disuade me from doing. He also wanted me to get my husband on the phone within ten minutes, which I found disrespectful to me as a homeowner and disrespectful of my partner's time as he was at work. He said they had to have an answer by Friday. Our second opinion came back saying that we do not need to replace our HVAC and that one of the issues Burton found was literally impossible because our motor is enclosed and ECM. I am not an HVAC technician, so I didn't want to argue with Burton about it. I received a notification on the weekend that the Burton salesperson was showing up at our house even though I told him we were out of town. I don't know if this was a system error or if he really showed up out of the blue, but I know he was on duty this weekend. Admittedly, I did not call by Friday to tell him we weren't interested which would have been courteous, but I am under no obligation to do so, either. He called Monday and asked if we were interested. I told him at this time, we were not. His response was Oh, ok. I was saying, But thank you for your time as he proceeded to hang up on me. I was not impressed with the salesman, the sales pressure, his urging to speak with my husband, him showing up on the weekend unplanned (if that happened, I wasn't even home), but hanging up on me was the final disrespectful move. Given this interaction, I don't really know what to think of my tech, either. He seemed nice enough but this whole experience with Burton has completely soured me on them. I was treated very disrespectfully and I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent technician- very thorough. Very professional. Very considerate of his surroundings while working throughout the home. Pitched a sales offer, received a decline, then mentioned if I needed any help when I do decide to replace the ac unit that he would be happy to help even at a later time. Now that is worth giving him my future business/sale. Way to go Burton- excellent employee.
Been here before, remembered me and the dog. Very Pleasant. Give me some tips on maintaining the AC.

Darin Hobbs was spectacular! Very respectful and very knowledgeable! got me taken care of within an hour or so......and on a Sunday!. Very happy with him! My first experience with Burton and I will definitely do business with Burton again! Thank you so much!
Zack was professional, quick and thorough. He found a crash in our furnace and was able to have us feel it as well as show us pictures. He gave his recommendation but did not push us one way or another.

We were told the installation team would wear shoe booties and masks and they did not. The carbon monoxide detectors went off for about an hour during the installation and they didn’t come talk to us about it. My family had to leave the house because we started getting headaches. When the installation team left there was a dead patch of grass in our yard where they had thrown the old equipment out of the house. A humidifier was installed and the bypass vent for the hot water heater goes straight across the front so it is difficult to remove the cover and replace the filter in the humidifier. They quoted us an OPPD rebate amount but we received $100 less than what we were quoted. There were a lot of issues and it has now been over a month after our install and no one has reached out to us about the installation. We had called our salesperson a week and half after installation and shared this feedback and he said he would give us a $100 visa gift card since we were unsatisfied and he would follow up the next day. We have not received the gift card and still no one has contacted us about the installation. Very disappointed in the service we have received.
