I used a local community website to get recommendations for someone to fix my leaking toilet, and wrote down several names in no particular order of preference. After calling one business whose recorded message stated that they would try to get back to me in a couple of days (still have not heard from them), I called Jorge. He got back to me promptly, and gave me a date and time range from 12-2. To my utter surprise and delight, he called on the scheduled day to say they would be there around 1:15 and that Ivan would do a preliminary assessment.

Ivan was right on time, and was very thorough about ensuring where the leak was coming from so that I would not waste money.

Jorge and his crew, worked efficiently and were respectful of keeping my bathroom clean (removing a toilet is a messy job).

I could not be happier with how this job was handled from start to finish.

Very respectable, professional people--both in person, and the people on the telephone. My dad spent 2 days trying to fix and figure out the problem, and the plumber who came fixed it in less than an hour! He even explained very clearly to me what the problem was--as someone who has no knowledge of how plumbing works, I could easily understand what he was trying to tell me. Very good service, 11/10

I'm the owner of cleanhonestrestoraition we did a sewage clean up job from a broken pipe in the crawlspace of a home recently and we were very impressed to find they had already fixed the pipe . most of the time the plumber will not do the repair until the area has been cleaned by a restoration company like ours great work !

We were having issues with our main line backing up into our bath tub and toilet. We were searching for a good company we came across JC Green Plumbing. We gave them a call, and we were able to get our service that same day. They came to our house, and took care of the job.

The service man did a Sewer Lateral check on a home in a real estate contract. Very fast and efficient and informative. He was done in less than an hour.

I hired them to install a new front door jamb. They where nice and did a great job removing the old door jamb and putting a new one with a strike plate.

Will hire them for other projects that I might have in the future.

I paid Abe to re-caulk my bath tub and to install some corrugated metal panels around my deck. The caulk ended up getting big gaps in it (though we did not use the tub or shower for over 24 hours after he did it as instructed). He missed seeing one of the panels for the deck (which was right there next to the deck) so he did not install it, but he told my husband he would come back and finish the job. I messaged him about getting him to come back about 5 different times over the course of 6 weeks and he is ghosting me.

Overall, I would say Abe is a mixture of incompetent and expensive. Throughout the deck job, he kept interrupting my husband to ask for help. He asked me for work gloves to protect my hands. Who shows up to install corrugated metal without work gloves? I was desperate to find someone so I gave him a shot but seriously, it was ridiculous. If you're desperate, keep looking.

Meanwhile I need to fix my caulk and finish my deck project, some of which was done pretty badly - one of the panels was installed in such a way that it's bending.

Aaron with Larratt Bros Plumbing was great to work with. I would definitely use them in the future for any plumbing needs. He was super communicative when he helped to fix a tub back up. Plus, he’s local to Half Moon Bay!

Jorge & his son were super helpful in cleaning the drain and fixing all the problems our previous tenants left. They came on super fast even though I called them last minute. Gave me a very reasonable quote and were very honest about what needed to be done to fix. No hidden fees. My go to people for all handyman & construction needs!

I used Marvin to install a water shut off valve for my dishwasher. I also had him look at my dishwasher because it would leak when draining. He fixed the the hose and now I do not have to buy a new dishwasher. Thanks Marvin for the fast and friendly response. I will use him in the future for other projects.
