The guy came quick and unclogged my laundry sink.
I have worked with Joey on several projects over the last several years. Most recently he replaced our furnace and upgraded the duct work after moving into this home. Joey has a great “can do” attitude, is highly responsive, easy to work with, and dies great work. We highly recommend him for any residential heating and plumbing work you may have.

Had appointments scheduled with 3 other plumbers who didn't show up. Called late afternoon and they were able to get someone to us within a couple of hours due to a cancellation. Then didn't try to overcharge us or up-sell us on things we didn't need. VERY grateful, they fixed our leak quickly and cleanly.
Our furnace was having issues and a new one was installed by Honrath and Stacey Pluming and Heating. Joey was very quick in responding to my voicemail and after inspecting the furnace he gave me several options. We opted to get a new furnace and Joey took care of all the permit and inspection requirements. The removal and installation took one day and Joey was very professional and respectful. I would recommend him in a heart beat for any pluming or heating need.

A few years back our heater failed us and we called several heating companies to help us but most of them were pretty flakey. They didn't want to come and work on our house because of our location or they scheduled us but didn't keep the appointment or were plain rude. Of the companies that did come out all of them were booked through the winter.
Honrath and Stacy were responsive and kept their appointment and easy to work with. Once they determined what the problem was, it wasn't a straight forward replacement, they gave us a number of solutions to get us heat. A couple year later we went with them again to replace our water heater. Totally recommend them.
Joey and Jordan are very personable and professional and were able to provide a workable solution in my home in the parameters they were given. Communicating with me and cleaning as they worked really made be feel good about hiring them. The installation was more than satisfactory.

H&S has completed several very significant jobs for me:
ancient water pipes removed and new/upgraded system put in; also
replaced a 100 year old. gravity heater --scheduled removal of asbestos and replaced heater with an updated modern system. Easy company to work with...answers all questions and does good work within a scheduled period of time.

They did an amazing (I thought) repair once on our 90 year old home repairing a cracked 3” cast iron drain line that broke between floors. We had a problem with our tankless water heater and called Joey. He arrived on time, gave us some options, but a new water heater made the most sense. He gave a VERY fair estimate, the appointment to install replacement was within days, and the cost was exactly the same as the estimate. If I EVER have a plumbing problem, I'm calling Joey!

I’ve used Honrath & Stacey Plumbing a few times & I will defiantly use them again! They show up on time, are very professional & when I told the worker who showed up to fix my toilet I told him I really want to just replace the toilet & he said there’s actually nothing wrong with mine it just needed a new float system which is a lot cheaper (trying to keep my bill low), but I said, that was the original toilet from 1942 when the house was built & I really wanted a newer (more modern) toilet to update my bathroom a little. He told me the price to fix the original one & how much to buy & install a new one would cost, but I really wanted a more modern toilet & haven’t regretted my choice to go with the new toilet! Also I’ve not had a problem since!! When I update my house with new water pipes instead of the old pipes I will def call them back! I trust their work & honesty in saving me money! We manage a variety of rental properties throughout the East Bay and Honrath and Stacey is our first call when we have a plumbing or heating issue. Joey is always quick and efficient in diagnosing the problem and making the repair, and does quality work.
I was worried our heater couldn't be fixed - I was worried it would cost too much. Neither was true. Joey was right on time, figured out the problem in minutes, actually had the part needed and fixed out heater in no time. It was very reasonable and worth every penny.

For $150.00 I Schedule for service and he come in and didn’t do anything. I asked him to clean the system. His response was I don’t have much time left on my 1 hour service cause it took him 20 minutes to get here and he been at the house 20 minutes. Therefore, no time left to do anything else for me.
Excellent expertise & work performance. They have installed a furnace, water heater & main shutoff valve for me over the years. Very good communication of scope of work, along with efficient performance of the job.
Was able to get squeezed in right before his vacation. So thankful for his great service!

Have used Honrath 3 times. Heater repair, heater replacement, and water heater service. Very satisfied each time. Joey communicates very well and gets the work done quick and right. Would recommend to anyone.
Oh man! No one wants to call a plumber but when you need one you want the right one and you want him now! My heater went out and I couldn't believe how much my first estimate for this thing was $13,000. I kept calling around and then Joe Stacey came out and fixed it while he was there doing the estimate!?!? $700.00 and had the part in the van! He did warn me it's due for a new one but as of now it works just fine and when it does go for good I'm calling Joe!

These gentlemen were amazing. They were prompt, totally honest and didn't over charge me or take advantage of me. We had a strange and unique problem that was kind of complicated and Joey quickly diagnosed the problem, anticipated potential problems with the fix and the potential risks, and came up with a solid game plan. He could have EASILY said, Nah, we can fix it, you just have to get a whole new unit. But he worked it out and saved me A LOT of money and trouble. This was for a furnace in a rental property that went out during a cold snap. He was on it so fast and delivered incredible service. I will never use another Plumbing/Heating Company again. This Dad/Son duo have my loyalty and business forever.

WE have a old house. The person who fixed it was very profecinal and confident. Yet he said wait three months if it works it will be working for few more years! It is passed four months and we didn't have any issue. I highly recommand them.

Furnace replace. All aspects of this job went well. The price was good, appointments were met on time, the installation was quick and excellent and Joey was curteous and informative throughout. Could not recommend them more highly.
Joey is great to work with, my property management team calls Honrath & Stacey regularly when problems pop up. Joey has made plenty of repairs for us, talked us through how to check simple things that might save us the trip and service charge and been very honest about not being able to fit us in.
We ere extremely happy with the furnace replacement that Honrath & Stacey provided, and the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes. Joey was very responsive to my initial inquiry and his ongoing communications were prompt. He and his team did a great job of installation.

Joey replaced our ancient furnace with a streamlined more powerful unit. Access was a problem but that didn't slow him down or deter him! The process took a couple of days but the area was left spotless at the end of the day. The cost was very reasonable and Joey was a pleasure to work with!
