What a great company!!!. Our hot water system stopped working, and when I called on Monday, they rearranged their morning to come right out and make repairs. I recommend absolutely.

I have been using big blue plumbing for several years, they are so professional, polite, Organized, and neat.
They always do a great job.

Javier was knowledgeable, and gave additional help installing my toilet (it needed minor additional parts). He also gave me advice and estimate on some other work I could have done around the house.

The only reason this is not a 5-star review is that I originally called Big Blue in January for this install, and they never called me back. They apologized. This was an expensive installation for a toilet, and, imo, a sincere apology probably would have come with at least a minor discount. Other than that, I will definitely use this company in the future.

On time and very responsive. Replaced main sewer line under the home and re-connected to exterior line with new clean-out. Completed in 1 day and made the slope was adjusted for proper flow to exterior but adding straps and taking grade measurements.

Their high ratings are deserved. Big Blue were the only plumbers available to make a short notice service call and also not charge an arm and a leg for it. Javier, our technician, was very professional. Highly recommended.

Nick arrived within the designated appointment window, understood my project and was able to provide a detailed cost estimate during the visit. He was very professional, personable and efficient.

Harris Giotas, our Big Blue plumber, was incredible. He is a real credit to the industry. Not only was he able to replace our aging (and old) Glacier Bay fixtures without tearing out the entire wall, he discovered and repaired a unknown major leak under the toilette. We are truly indebted to Harris for his complete professionalism. He was prompt, efficient, and courteous. He is highly recommended for any plumbing problem or issue.

I had a drain pipe under my house that needed to be replaced. The job involved breaking the concrete slab and digging three feet underground to get to the pipe. I have copper tubing in my floor for radiant heat.
Nick was on time and gave me two estimates--one if they did not have to break and repair the radiant heat piping and one if they did. The total was lower than the estimate from another company. Carlos did the work and he was on time and very neat. He finished the job in two days, including repairing the radiant heat. On the third day, the supervisor, Zach Turner came out to inspect the job and he actually was nice enough to put the carpet back in place and move some of the furniture back! They were all very nice and competent people and I would use them again.

Enrique arrived in a timely manner. He replaced the leaky part, and lest the area tidy.

Giovanni did a great job. He was able to diagnose and fix a long standing issue with our shower that we’ve been trying to get resolved for so long! He did all the repairs in just a few hours.

I can’t express enough what a joy it was to work with Carlos, Nate and Nick. They were all very pleasant, professional and a joy to be around. From the office to the technicians was an all around positive experience. It’s very clear they know what they are doing and do a great job. I highly recommended using Big Blue Plumbing.

Arrived on time within the window of time provided. I was able to make an appointment quickly. I tried working theough my warranty and they sent me a plumber that was trying to convince me to upgrade piping and spend thousands. Big Blue Plumbing -- specifically Giovanni -- saved the day at my house. My kitchen sink had become unusable due to broken/leaky pipes, which Giovanni replaced with new ones. He also patiently cleaned up a very messy caulking job performed by my well-meaning but non-plumber husband. Started out Very Nice - Great Customer Phone Service. Setup an appointment was looking forward to getting my Plumping needs taken care of. Unfortunately there was a No Show on the morning of the Appointment. I had to call to find out why. Turns out someone put in the wrong date for the appointment. I had rearranged my schedule for this appointment. There was an unwillingness work with my schedule and get someone in the next morning saying no one is available. I guess it is okay to inconvenience me twice rather then rework a schedule to make up for their error and no offer to adjust pricing to compensate for the error. I canceled and will either do the work myself or search for another Plumbing Service. Too bad because all other reviews reflect a good company and good service. Not the case for me.

Both the service manager, Nick, and the technician, Carlos, were knowledgeable, informative, and very courteous! Big Blue provides reminders and notices of appointments, and sends photos of their personnel so you will know who's at the door - a very good idea. I would definitely call them again if need be.

Replaced brass anti-siphon valve to irrigation system, new shutoff valves to main riser, irrigation system & hose bib

They came right out for the quote and then when I called to schedule work and let them know that I would take out the toilet (which they wanted to charge me $300 to do) so they could do the actual work, they told me they would have to check availability and then never called back.

I was impressed. I called Big Blue to setup an appointment for our bathroom and was able to get a next day appointment. When they arrived, Jamie and Enrique were professional & courteous, they showed care for the house & property. They helped out with an issue with our bath tub and were able to clearly explain the situation and give separate strategies to address the issues. Additionally I was able to ask them about 2 other possible projects in our house and they clearly explained what would be involved and then later supplied comprehensive estimates for when we wish to go forward. I'm quite happy with Big Blue Plumbing and their staff and would call on them again.

Bug Blue is a friendly, highly professional plumbing company that is responsive both when you call and when they arrive at your home. They never give the impression that they are too busy to help you in a timely manner.

Upfront the service was amazing. I requested an estimate for a boiler system to be replaced, the appt was set, Harris showed up on time was professional and seemed knowledgeable. I paid for the estimate on the spot and now a week later, no estimate, no call, only about 8 emails asking for a review. I called at 7:25am this morning to follow up and was told that they would call the tech and I would receive a call back. 12:30pm no call. I called again and was told the same thing. Maybe after this review I can get my estimate, a refund and maybe some sort of response.

Agustin was very professional and diligent with his work. We were given very clear options and in-depth explanations on what to expect. It was a great experience.

Nick was very helpful in diagnosing the issue with our radiant heat boiler which was impacting both heat and hot water. They’re coming today (next day from estimate) to do the repair!

Jack was highly knowledgeable and explained all aspects of the job in great detail. He also was very patient with all of our questions and answered them in terms we understood.

big blue installed a water recirculation pump for us to fix our shower's heating issue. additionally, they came back out to assess and fix the pressure of the shower. our technician was very helpful, showed us each step of the process and was very professional. lovely folks, would recommend their services.

Fast and efficient the only plumber I will ever call. A plus service!!!

This is my 2nd time using Big Blue Plumbing (they installed radiant heat in the downstairs part of my home in 2015). This time, I needed to finish work on a small bath/kitchen in my in-law (stove venting, new drain hook-ups for shower, washer/dryer, sink). The team that worked with me (Pardo, Carlos, Harris, Pardo, & Israel ) were all top notch. The final work looked great and is working like expected (water going down drain and NOT on my floors). They were even careful and tidy with the rest of my home...used drop cloths on my floor from entrance to kitchen, wore shoe covers, and cleaned-up at end of ever day they worked in my home. GREAT GREAT SERVICE!! I will use them again.

We had a very positive experience with Big Blue Plumbing. It was straightforward to setup an appointment and on the day of they were very communicative about confirming timing both by phone call and email/text updates so that I wasn't waiting around during the appointment window. They were on time and addressed the gas leak at the house. There were a few other items that I asked Paul to look at based on a recent home inspection and he walked me through my options explaining the pros/cons of each. He was very knowledgeable and easy going and I felt in good hands throughout. I'd definitely use them again and would highly recommend their work.

Harris was very professional,and positive attitude. He was also very knowledgeable about plumbing and products pertaining to the problem at hand.

Best company I have ever work before!!

Nick at Big Blue came through again for me. Initially this year, he helped me redo a 2 50 gallon water heater system, when one tank went bad. Nick offered good guidance, and was competitive to the other contractors I had look at the system.

Ended up with a single system with a small tank, and his crew was great at the install and cleanup...a 2 day job.

Had an emergency at a Duplex I am responsible for, for my aging mother...a water heater began to leak Friday afternoon at 3:30...I was notified...not good. The usual maintenance guy was full for the day, and another Water Heater tech that was looking at it prior was not able to service until monday.

Nick comes through again, on Saturday!! Was on site on time, and did the job quickly, it was a hose that needed replacement, I could have done it, but did not have the parts and was jammed.....A little more than many would price at, but then, coming in with less than 24 hours on a Saturday, with Friday late afternoon notice....Kudos for that!!

Trust Nick and his judgement. He has pride in his work and capabilities.

He is on time, returns calls ......initially, I spent more time with him in screening.....he outwardly appears as the guy that one gets in trouble with in high school... Tech arrived within 40 minutes of initial email. Two leaking valves replaced promptly. Very professional and courteous service from scheduler and tech. Will call them first next time.

I made an appointment last week, but then they called a half hour before they were supposed to show up to say “they don’t do that kind of work.” ... That’s fine, but why make the appointment in the first place? Unprofessional. Would not recommend.

This is the second time we had Giovanni Arredondo work on our house. In both instances he has proven to be very knowledgeable and provided excellent product and customer service.

Paul and Pardoners just finished replacing our dead boiler and dying hot water heater with a 96% efficient tankless system. They came out Wednesday and explained everything in great detail. We got texts and e-mails with photos and a short bio so we knew who was coming and when. We had some other work going on and they coordinated seamlessly. They left the area absolutely immaculate and gave us a thorough run down on our new system. We even got to meet Paul’s puppy Bruno who is quite the charmer. And our dogs fell in love with Paul because he brought them treats. They treated us like family and did a great job. It doesn’t get any better.

I had Jack and Stan. They were polite, professional, explained everything to me well and pointed out other recommendations for my home that have some urgency since my house is over 100 years old. I have been through two other plumbing companies, both of which were disrespectful old white men who stomped into my house without a mask, didn't wear shoe coverings and did more damage than they did fixing. Thank you Big Blue for not disappointing me, I will be using you again.

We decided to replace rather than try to repair our hot water problem. Big Blue agreed to do it same day with no notice. Zack, our tech, ended up spending almost an entire day figuring out and fixing multiple surprise issues to get the job done, staying pleasant and polite the whole time. Highly recommend.

Do not use Big Blue Plumbing unless you want get ripped off. I had them come to my property to provide a bid for water line replacement. It was a very simple job that could be done in 2 hrs and they tried to scam me out of $6000. I received four other quotes from other plumbers and they were all significantly cheaper to start with a high of $2700 and low of $1400. Everybody else came by and provided a quote for free but not Big Blue Plumbing. They charged $90 just to show up. Complete ripoff. Stay away from them and use somebody more trustworthy.
The quality of work performed by another vendor was excellent. To say that repair option of $6K you have is in the same range as repair of $1.4K from another vendor says everything we need to know about what kind of business you are running.

Javier was super quick and helpful, he offered me suggestions and let me run to the plumbing store to grab a new faucet, he installed it for me when I brought it back. Quick and easy thanks Big Blue

Great company and great team. They arrived, performed critical 70 year old piping repair buried below numerous feet of concrete, and cleaning up perfect in a day. 5-Star out of 5 Plumbing company. Highly recommend!

Great customer service, professional technicians and phenomenal plumbing work.

We’re looking to get a fair amount of plumbing work done, and also asked them to look for any issues they might find (this is a very old house, with some very old plumbing) They were very thorough, Suggesting some things and also letting me know that some of what thought we needed, we didn’t.
They were super communicative, very professional but also friendly. We haven’t made a decision yet on who to go with, but so far they’ve been the ideal of a contractor.

Update: we used them for everything, new water main, whole house filter, water heater (heat pump), and they cleaned up some shoddy old plumbing along the way.

Giovanni from Big Blue Plumbing was amazing — punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. Not only did he fix our pipe issues promptly, he also explained what he was doing so that we could fix the issue ourselves in the future. We wish more service was of this caliber. We feel lucky to have had Giovanni from Big Blue help us out and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jamie got to the bottom of the problem, explained it to me in a manner I could understand to prevent the same issue happening in the future.

The inspection was thorough, on time, well reasoned and John made sure all my questions were addressed.

Called Big Blue Plumbing to check out a 2nd floor toilet that was leaking onto our first floor ceiling and they were able to send someone the same day.

When Nate arrived we also asked him to look at our kitchen sink pipes. He was friendly and clearly knowledgeable. He explained everything and gave us different options to consider for fixing the issues.

He fixed everything in just a few hours and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Highly recommend Big Blue Plumbing and hope we can request Nate for any future plumbing needs we may have.

Once again, Big Blue was excellent. We had a blockage in the cleanout, and they figured it out in about 5 minutes. Yay hot water!

2020:
The works not complete, so I can't speak to value quite yet, but so far the company has been excellent! Extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and FINALLY someone got the the bottom of our back-up mystery! This isn't going to be a small job, but given that we've already paid for it and continue to have the issue, then I'm going to hazard a You get what you paid for. We're looking forward to getting this issue flushed outta the way (and blame my husband for bad puns - it's contagious).

Nate was incredibly helpful. I would recommend him and Big Blue for any plumbing issues. I just found a new plumber.

I've been working with Big Blue Plumbing for two years now and I'm so glad I found such a professional and reliable company! The service technicians are professional and polite in demeanor and attire. I appreciate their uniforms and service vehicles--which make them easy to identify. They are tech savvy and send you text messages as well as email reminders (which include photos of the technicians coming to your home!) I am a realtor--so not only do I use them for my own home, but I recommend them to my clients as well. Brittany is always helpful and polite over the phone. Josh was the technician that came to my home and he was amazing! Did a great job in both my bathrooms, cleaned up behind all the work he performed--and left the area very neat--even whistled while he worked--we loved it! (He has a great whistle). I Contacted Big Blue Plumbing and several other companies trying to get a free estimate . Everyone offered a free estimate except Big Blue Plumbing. On top of that the guy only did walk around...I feel like I paid for a conversation wge Fito plimbing pulled up at the same time but they opened up the man hole and got on the roof to do a free camera inspection. When the BiG Blue Tech see this all he said that's another way to run the camera.
Beware they're inspection are not good and they charge you $79.

I had a damaged sewer pipe underneath the sidewalk in the front of my house in Alameda. Big blue plumbing gave me an estimate which I excepted. They did the work exactly as described, quickly and very well. The total price turned out to be less than the estimate, because some things wound up not having to be done. I appreciated that they updated the price based on the services actually provided. They identified that I needed a new incoming water pipe from the sidewalk to the house, and had no problems with me allowing my normal plumber to do that job. Their estimate For the new water pipe was significantly higher than what my normal plumber charged, and their estimate for fixing the sewer pipe under the sidewalk was quite a bit higher than what they actually charged. This is my only caution, is to get multiple quotes and discuss the job thoroughly so you understand all of the charges and what work is necessary and what work is voluntary. With this said the office staff was perfectly wonderful, and all plumbers and technicians that came to my house were perfectly wonderful also. Also big blue was able to come very quickly, while I was having trouble getting other plumbers to come at all for the sewer pipe issue. I can highly recommend big blue.

In addition to repairing a toilet and the kitchen faucet, Big Blue re-piped my duplex. The reason I chose Big Blue was they had come out previous to this project to inspect the lateral sewer line for the duplex and although I would have replaced the lateral, the technician said it didn't need to be replaced. I appreciated their honesty. The team that re-piped the duplex was polite, knowledgeable, and punctual. The tenants are happy with the increased water pressure and I'm happy plumbing problems with that building are fixed.

I don't even know where to begin - I had an awesome experience with Big Blue and specifically with their field technician Javier V, who is an absolute rockstar. Way to expensive! Charged me 647$ to change a 14$ piece (Cartridge) on my faucet in my kitchen. Worker was professional, courteous and friendly, but the price is just Crazy! First and last time for me.

Representative was very efficient, was able to schedule a technician inspection the same day. Technician gave great advice, and options for our specific requirements. Overall very pleased with my choice.

I found & selected this company because of the excellent reviews I read on Google Maos when our hot water heater needed to be replaced. We called their weekend call line Saturday afternoon & approved emergency weekend work service & were told to expect a call within 24 hours. When we didn’t get a call back by Sunday evening, I called again. Again I was told to expect a call soon. We never got a return call so Monday morning we found another plumbing service to replace the hot water heater (Bustos Plumbing). They replaced it that day. Likely this company’s work is good - but I don’t know because they never called us back!

When my furnace/heater went out March, 2017 I called Big Blue and they came to my home the same day. I received a detailed explanation of the problem, and their recommended solution. I chose the on-demand water heater and furnace system. I've had the system 6-months and I'm completely satisfied. I never run out of hot water! I love the new furnace/heater system too. My home is comfortable during the cooler season. And, just as promised, they didn't leave my home until I was completely satisfied with the service, system operations, etc. They cleaned up at the end of each day, so I was not inconvenienced or unhappy.

13k to change out a tankless water heater, what a joke. Scammers! Tried to take advantage of my elderly parents.

BEWARE! Big Blue is a pretty immoral company. My landlady had has them work on the house multiple times and every time they are here they find a new essential project that HAS to be done and it always gets more and more expensive. Not only that, but on this visit they told her that her brand new water heater will have to be replaced after 5 years (despite the fact that she pays them to service it yearly). A water heater that only lasts 5 years is both defective and poorly maintained. With what they charged her to put it in, the assessment says a lot about their beliefs in the products they sell. She called another local plumbing company to come out for a second opinion (thankfully) and the guy said spending what they were asking to put in extensive new plumbing was superfluous given its age and location in our house. Maybe if the water heater was 10 years old, but not 18 months. In short, beware of their estimates! If it feels like they are taking you for a ride, they probably are.

I would like to publically thank Jack for fixing/replacing my toilet today. The toilet unexpectedly started to leak water all over the bathroom floor when he was inspecting my toilet tank leak. Jack quickly and calmly determined what needed to be done and got the situation under control. He gave me a couple of options to get it repaired, and I chose to get a new toilet. He arranged to pick up the replacement toilet and was back in less than an hour and a half ready to install. Installation went smoothly. I really appreciated his cheerful demeanor. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a unexpected plumbing repair.

Vittorio didn't pressure me to install a new shower faucet knobs, but explained how I could use the existing knobs better. I appreciated that there was no hard sell, which I dislike, but an attempt to manage with what we have. I will use Big Blue in the future if the need arises. Thank you.

I had an initial visit with Big Blue Plumbing and received an estimate for several potential residential plumbing projects. Although I will need some time to review the estimates, I was impressed with the professionalism of the technician (Augustine) who visited as well as the owner of the company (Paul) who also came out for the initial visit.
They were patient, answered all of my questions, and took the time to explain how potential projects could be completed. They also were very knowledgeable and made sure I understood their suggested solutions to a variety of my plumbing concerns / issues. I haven’t determined if I will use this company yet, but so far, I am impressed with my initial dealings with them.

We have a small one-story mid-century-modern » house that sits on a concrete slab and is heated radiantly by hot water flowing in tubes buried in the concrete slab.. The 60+ year-old furnace that heated the flowing water had failed. We were recommended to Big Blue as the East-Bay experts on this kind of radiant heating. Their recommended and executed solution wasn’t cheap but we now have, instead of the old furnace and water heater tank that were stuffed into a tiny room in the middle of our house, a state-of-the-art Energy Star unit that heats our house and our hot water, and we feel that we’ve made new friends with the small crew of very competent and very friendly people from Big Blue who did the work.We recommend them enthusiastically

Harris from Big Blue plumbing came today to our 3 story condominium to investigate a leak from a second story unit bathroom to a first floor unit bathroom. He was on time, we received notice that he was on his way with a picture to identify him. He was here about 30 minutes but was unable to recreate the problem. Since all the pipes were pretty new it was difficult to identify exactly what problem was. If the problem occurs again we are to call Big Blue and they will return. He did not even charge us for his time. Will definitely be contacting them in the future for plumbing needs!

They charge $1400 for replacing a small exterior ABS standpipe! This is out of this world.. Got one in hardware store for 50$.

These guys have been great! Super respectful and hard-working. I even had to leave a few time while they were here and felt comfortable with it. Luis was the head guy, but Ryan was here everyday and led all the work. Very friendly and knowledgable. I contacted Big Blue yesterday for a stopped up drain in my bathroom sink that I was unable to clear and got a next day appointment. Giovanni arrived well within the time he was expected. He assessed the drain and took the time to listen to my explanation regarding the drain behavior. He explained two possible causes of the stoppage and again answered all of my questions. Once he began working he was finished rather quickly and the water was running freely. He then took the time to teach me how to care for the drain and prevent the build up of the gunk that causes the slow down and eventual stoppage of the drain flow. Giovanni was careful of my property and cleaned up his work area. This is the third time I have used Big Blue over the last few years and have been very satisfied every time. Plus, they are local!

I was texted that the technician was on his way to my rental. After waiting quite a while outside the house, I called Big Blue and was told they were having lunch. It was almost an hour after the text that they showed up. They did make it barely in the time frame, and i was very pleased with the work that Mike Padfield did. I had expected a text or call when they were close to showing up, not while they were still having lunch.

Would recommend Javier. He was on time, diagnosed my problem, advised regarding parts need, found and part numbers. He was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would request Javier again.

Especially this young man Agustin is very patience to find out the problem and fix the issue . He spend over 4 hours to complete his job. His is professional and very friendly. Big Blue Plumbing is so luck to have such a great employee. I will give him 5 Stars for what he done .

Nathan gave me a quote of $366 to extend a water heater pipe. I got the twenty minute job done for $50. He was way overpriced

They replaced the connection from my house to the mainline sewer. They came on time and did the work in record time. Worksite left in perfect condition. Work seems fine, but haven't really had time to test it out. They are not inexpensive, but they sure know their stuff and get it done!

Joaquin and crew were very conscientious about the dust and cleaned up everything before they left. They explained the problem and how they were going to repair it. The estimated time frame to complete the work was accurate and fit within our schedule. As an ex-plumber, I am very happy with their work.

As a first time customer, the owner made sure to stop by during the initial quote and introduce himself and the technician who would be working on the project. They stayed longer than expected to go over our whole plumbing system and make an educated guess of the source of our gas leak. The technicians came back the next morning and completed the project and did an excellent job. The leak is fixed and we are very happy with the service provided. I’ll add that both Gary and Lisa in the admin office were extremely helpful over the phone.

Giovanni was awesome. Put up with my bad mood (basement flooded). i ended up smiling. One plumber gave up on clearing the storm drain. After Giovanni investigated, it was clear the other plumber was going about it the wrong way. The problem was a dead sump pump. New sump pump cleared out the drain

Very expensive. $70 to say hello, the actual project (placing a washer) in the thousands of dollars. Other plumber offer the same for a portion of this cost.

It started off nice, with a friendly phone receptionist, however it turns out they are just a call center handling the phone calls, which the woman on the phone even confirmed(not the same as someone working at the company). Had a wonderful experience with Big Blue Plumbing regarding a gas leak in my kitchen. The technician arrived on time, did a thorough examination of our gas pipe system and fixed the leak. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly too! I will definitely use them again for any plumbing related issues. The service was also very reasonably priced.

Augustin was very professional and knowledgeable about all of the issues I presented to him. He explained what he was seeing, presented me with a plan should we go forward and explained the quotes.

Had a great experience with Giovanni_1 at Big Blue. They fit us in at the last minute when we had a leaking pipe, explained potential causes for the leak and took a staged approach to diagnosing and fixing the issue. Nate replaced and installed a failing garbage disposal. He was very professional, on-time, and got the work done and had everything fixed quickly.

Very professional and knowledgeable. They weren't rushed as I find many contractors and workers to be. We had a another local plumber not do such a great job before, and Joe had one look and an easy fix so we could move our stove back to the wall and finally open our dishwasher all the way. Pardo replaced our toilet seamlessly at our condo as well.

Now, in our new home - Big Blue is our go to plumber. Paul works with us to brainstorm ideas and works with our budget to meet our goals. Recently, they re-piped our upstairs, installed a new sink, installed a new vanity, and got our hydronic heating working. They communicate well every step of the way. An added bonus is their dispatching texts so you know when to expect them.

Fast and good work! They even fixed a problem quickly and cheaply when they could have gone for so many more expensive options. Fantastic people, would heavily recommend!

My hot water heater broke unexpectedly - leaking water everywhere and growling at me. I called Big Blue Plumbing and talked with Lisa. She was so nice - I was pretty freaked out to be honest and after talking with Lisa, I new everything was going to be fine. Needed my leaking garbage disposal replaced urgently. I got a next day appt! My technician Jack was not just on time but early! I had to run out for 15 minutes to get a power cord— other than that he would have been done with the assessment and install in under 45 minutes! Phone staff were super fun and bubbly. Highly recommend — if you need a proper, waranteed service (I could probably install a garbage disposal myself or with a cheaper handy man, building manager wanted it done by a pro.)

During the project, Nick answered and responded to every panicked call or email in record time. Our water heater was leaking and they came within 12 hours to fix it and replace our 20 year water heater. Nate was our plumber and he was amazing. The owner of the company, Paul also stopped by to check all of the work. Both also gave us some advice on another issue we have in our house with a leak in our bathroom. They gave great service and we really appreciate their work. Also loved that they texted us when the plumber was on his way as well as his name, picture and a little bio about him. Jaime was professional, pleasant, explained everything and the cost to repair toilet was reasonable. I was disappointed that it would cost +$200 to get a shower head installed while he was here, but that's company policy. I made an informed decision to not do that.

I am so glad that I called Big Blue. Every staff member I interacted with was knowledgeable and helpful. They explained exactly what to expect from the initial appointment. Augustin, the technician who helped us, exceeded my expectations with his patience and professionalism. It was a very hard job - a 100+ year storm drain system with no clear outlet - and he worked on it methodically and cheerfully explaining what he found every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend.

Had a significant water leak between floors. Called Big Blue and Paul and Javier were out the next day. Were able to identify the source of the leak after some skillful detection. Javier and Hammad came back the next day. At first I was a little reluctant after hearing some conversations. Javier very patiently went over everything they did. Paul later showed up and checked out everything. All was good and now three days later everything remains good. Their service is professional, they clearly are skillful, they clean up the work site, and they are timely.

Nick knew more about solar plumbing than anyone I’ve talked to for the last 20 years.

I called Big Blue to repair my water heater which wouldn't relight, and was very impressed with the professionalism of Technician Nathan Jones. More than on time, Nate arrived and contacted me a half hour early. Fully prepared to replace my flooded out burner, Nate attempted to relight my pilot one more time, and it worked. He didnt try to upsell me and convince me to replace the burner anyway. Instead he gave me an estimate to replace the burner, made some recommendations for other areas of improvement, such as a sump pump to avoid potential flooding again, and gave me an estimate for that. Best of all, he didn't charge me for the simple fix, and instead used the service call as a complimentary job estimate and quotation. Awesome! Thanks Nate, for the excellent service! I will definitely call upon Big Blue again for any future plumbing needs, and I would highly recommend Nate to anyone for service.
