11/12/20 I wanted to update my review and add that JJ is so skilled, friendly, honest, and helpful. He came back and did more work on my house and he did a fantastic job. He is always quick to reply and very professional and knowledgeable. He explains everything when I have questions and is also a wonderful person to be around. I cannot recommend him enough. If you need anything done at your house, definitely get in touch with him!

JJ is incredibly talented, friendly, professional, and skilled. He has become my go-to person for practically any issue with my house. He is incredibly responsive and fair and always goes above and beyond to do a great job. He takes a lot of pride in his work- and even more, he really cares about people and making sure that he does everything he can to solve the issue. I could not recommend anyone more. My kitchen sink was completely clogged. I tried to snake it myself and got nowhere. Jorge quickly assessed the situation and fixed the problem very quickly and efficiently. Plus, he answered questions I had for him. I would use them again - definitely!

Great & prompt service, would highly recommend! I had reached out to several different plumbers who never got back to me, but Jorge and his partner showed up within 20 of my initial call to take a look at the leak under my kitchen sink. They diagnosed the problem quickly and carefully, and the consultation was free of charge! I had a great experience with J J Rooter & Plumbing, and will definitely call them again if any other issues arise.

I have used many rooter services in the past as my home tends to need regular snaking. Many of these other services just want to do the bare minimum... not snaking far enough to fully clear the blockage or just not putting enough elbow grease behind the snake to clear a tough blockage. Jorge is different. He is very knowledgeable as to what could be causing the blockage and takes his time to clear the blockage properly. I highly recommend!

I didn’t end up needing any work, but they were thorough and responsive. They came out, took their time, and gave me an honest assessment. Would highly recommend them and I will be calling them in the future if I need anything!

Jorge helped rescue me from a DYI attempt to replace a faulty fill valve in my downstairs bathroom—ahead of a big party! He and his son came the same day I called and not only fixed what I had done, but made it better than before. JJ is my go-to plumber from now on.

Jorge and his son were wonderful, hard working people. We called on him to fix a leaky pipe in our crawl space. Having been down there before in my younger days
I know how tight it is. Since he was already in the crawl space we asked if he could run wire to our kitchen island and he politely agreed. This required him to crawl
an extra 50 feet in the crawl space. He also fixed our breaker box and a faulty outlet we had outside. He made sure to caulk around the outlet because the foam seal was
cracked and dry. Nice attention to detail there!

He spent a whole day doing the work when he was originally scheduled to do much less. All with a smile. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing or electrical work.

Responded to my sewer backup problem by working a long day to accomodate me. They arrived as promised at 10.30pm and quickly and efficiently unclogged the sewer line. They followed up a couple of days later by running a camera through the line to see what caused the clog. Friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Jorge came on the same day that I called him to check the gas line on a fire pit that we installed for a garden client. He assured us that we had installed it correctly and did not even charge for his time. He was very professional, exactly on time and gave us great information. We really appreciated his attentiveness and service. Will certainly call him again for any plumbing work we need to do in the future.

These guys were very easy to deal with, fast, and fair. I received a $3000 water bill from EBMUD. It turned out that the line from the street to our house had been leaking for months. In the current environment, it was difficult to get plumbers even to return my calls, but Jorge picked up right away and actually helped me diagnose the problem over the phone. He stopped by to scope out the problem within a day and was able to schedule and complete the work promptly at a price that I considered reasonable.

We were so happy to see Jorge again after a great job and informative repair in 2017. This time, our kitchen sink u-pipe sprung a leak on Friday before New Years Eve. None of three calls to others could come until after holiday(!); Jorge and his apprentice came within 2 hrs of call. (We didn’t recognize his new number or we would have called him first!) Quick and easy fix, and the kitchen is back open for the holiday! Tx, Jorge, and happy 2023!

Jorge & his son were super helpful in cleaning the drain and fixing all the problems our previous tenants left. They came on super fast even though I called them last minute. Just had Jorge and his assistant in to fix a continuous hot water heater and pump, a shower, and a toilet. When I first contacted Jorge for help, he was responsive and made an appointment.

Jorge showed up on time, was very courteous and professional, returned with parts promptly, charged fairly, explained what he and his assistant were doing and why, helped me choose between options for addressing issues, and everything works! This was a great experience!

I am extremely happy with my service and plan to ask Jorge to help replacing a vanity and fixing a supply line issue soon. I will also keep him in mind for any other plumbing issues that come up, and I am happy to recommend him to anyone.

2 years ago we had brown water come down our kitchen faucet. The first plumber came puttered about for 3 hours and then said he could not fix our faucet. We googled and found Jorge. He was very prompt, Reviewed the issue, gave us an estimate, fixed our broken pipe. He was so thorough and spoke/explained the issues in simple straight forward manner. We have used JJ Rooter and Plumbing multiple times for other bath room issues. Always been happy with his service. Very sincere worker.

Jorge is great! He never fails to show up, almost always the same day I contact him. The last one was 40 minutes after I called him. He’s fixed my drains he’s fixed my water heater, I’d hire him again in a moment.

We had a leak coming from the second story of our home through a ceiling into our kitchen. Jorge came an hour or two after I called (which was faster than anyone else was able to come). He opened up the ceiling, identified the problem (it turned out to be simply a bad washer on a toilet), and fixed it quickly. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We would definitely use J&J Rooter & Plumbing again.

We really couldn't be happier with Jorge and his crew. We had a complicated project - adding a sewage injection system to a new bathroom that we are installing in a cabana below our home as well as doing the rough plumbing of two sinks, a shower, toilet, and hot water system. They always showed up as expected, returned our calls and texts promptly and cleaned up thoroughly each day. Bottom line: job was completed on time and on budget and they even went out of their way to help jump start one of our cars with a dead battery! Work was fine but price is very high. Over $400 to fix a pinhole leak on my kitchen sink which took less than 30 minutes. Call around and get estimates before committing to them.

Jorge was super helpful fixing my clogged kitchen drain. The clog was deep in my pipes; not in the connecting pipes to the sink. The were super responsive and lucky for me, they got to my house in less than an hour. Not having to wait another day for the spared us a lot of inconvenience. He brought in some heavy machinery to snake and flush the pipes.

I really like J J Rooter & Plumbing’s service. I would recommend them to anyone. My garbage disposal wasn’t working right. They quickly started working and started to figure out the problem. Soon they found the problem, there was a screw inside the garbage disposal!! They quickly took out the screw that was stuck and they reinstalled the garbage disposal and it worked like new. They left it cleaner from how they found it. They are really professional and quick. If I have any future plumbing problems I will call J J Rooter & Plumbing.

Jorge, came to our shop for a last minute Repair we needed In our commercial building. We own a print shop and had our grand opening the next day. Jorge replace the plumbing in our bathroom and installed a new sink. He stayed until 11:00 pm to complete the job. Jorge is very respectful, clean and reliable, but the most important he knows what he is doing. We have use his company for over 12 years and never had a complaint. We’re very satisfied and will always recommend his company.

Jorge and team replaced our sewer lateral in record time. Took care of the city permits and did a excellent professional job. In fact I just hired them a second time to replace a rusting out pipes. Responsive, responsible and reasonable.

From the beginning of the call he was friendly informative and explained step by step what needed to be done from getting the required permit, best materials to use, and the process to get the job done.
