Best Water Testing in Minneapolis MN

I called to get a quote of ballpark figure to remove/install 2 toilets. I was told they don't give quotes but will charge me $59.50 to come and look. While they would put that towards the bill, but what if they're quote is high like some of their reviews show. I find it hard to believe they can't give a ballpark figure on something that should be routine for a plumber. I feel like them coming out and charging $59.50 for something that would take 10 minutes is a way to extort business! I hung up on them!

I called 4 plumbers before I called Jake. They were either busy or had no idea how to solve my problem when I explained the situation and wouldn't even come out to check. I called Jake the plumber and they came out that day. They were super friendly and discovered the water heater was leaking underneath by using a camera, then showed me the video demonstrating the problem. They also found my water pressure was low and discovered the water softner (which was likely original with the old house) was failing causing the water pressure issues. The work was great and they were incredibly friendly. I definitely recommend Jake.

I scheduled an appointment with Weld to unclog a blocked drain back in 2019. They failed to show up for the scheduled appointment, and then when they finally sent someone out several hours later the guy did not have the right equipment to actually unclog my drain. Fed up, I called another company who was out right away and fixed the problem in less than a half hour. Weld tried to bill me $150 despite their complete screw up, after which they apparently sent this bill to collections. Completely lost respect for this company after that display of incompetence and lack of integrity.

They were professional, helpful and did a great job installing a new turn off valve for us. The technician was very kind and explained things in depth. He also helped us save money with an easy fix on a leaky valve. We'd for use Norblom again.

Inquired the night before and Grant responded promptly and was able to come the next morning to repair garbage disposal. Super efficient and informative for a reasonable price as well. Would call again.

My main water line shut off valve was leaking, it's an very old valve. Serghei evaluate valve we discuss best path forward I end up deciding to replace both valve. From setting up the appointment and getting the repair done same day to getting the actual valve replaced was done fast, professionally, great communication, respectful. Price was more expensive than I anticipate, but again you get what you paid for and I paid for all the above. I definitely would use the seevice again and recommend Paul Bunyan plumbing to anyone seeking quality service.

Staff was extremely helpful in finding and ordering a part for our outside spigot after trying to get help from many other plumbing supply places. Also, spent quality time explaining how to complete the fix and even repaired the old part I had to help with a temporary fix. Will definitely be back!

Within 3 hrs the work was complete and we had the needed components to complete the sink and tub (once installed.)

Tips: Leaving a message sometimes doesn't do the trick, best off stopping by their office or talking directly over the phone.
Their residential plumbers get quite busy so if you are remodeling, talk to them ahead of time.

Daniel replaced the shut-off valve for our gas stove and added an additional shut-off valve in the basement so that it would be up to code. He also installed our new stove after several failures by a retail vendor's outsourced installers. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why. Daniel was very responsive and efficient.
