I had a bathroom faucet that had been a problem since I updated my old pipes to copper. I ordered new parts but never got around to fixing it. More than I could handle. Adam did a fantastic job assessing the problem step by step and explaining as he did the work. I am so grateful for Adam's attention to detail and willingness to fix the problem. My house has a clogged drain then causing the basement to be flooded. There was a technician come out already to fix the upstairs bathroom wax ring but they did not pay attention to the other details. Weld & Sons has great customer service, in particular the after office hour. Victor was very knowledgeable and even listening to my description, he was able to understand the issues, estimate the hour job, give me a fair hourly rate. I did not have to worry about the unknown overcharges for the other companies came out and always tell you it depends. I had called over 5 different companies the people answering the phone has no idea what you are talking about, they are only documenting the issue and not able to answer anything. Victor however is the plumber himself, so this is different. He took time to explain the issues, and he made recommendation on site with what is needed, and did not try to rip me off by suggesting me to replace everything I did not needed to replace. They are upfront with the pricing charges so I don't need to worry about the overcharges. Their estimates on the number of hours of work needed to fix things are fairly accurate. They helped me with changing the faucet, fixing the faucet that was broken, and changing the main water pipe valves. At the end, they refer me to another company to take care of the Sewer problem as well (American Sewer) and that company was amazingly the best companies amongst all of the quotes that I have gotten. What I have realized is that almost everyone just tried to tell you that you need to fix many things but they may not be needed. Weld & Son and American Sewer are both very fair and professional and answer many questions I have. I just would highly recommend them!

CSR today: I generally have nothing but good things to say about Bonfe. I called today to set up my A/C system check (on a yearly preventative maintenance plan). I'm in the system and usually the CSR knows who I am and the address when I call in. So, when she verifies some of my information more than once I get a bit impatient and when she can't even spell my name correctly (my name is not dia) on the form she sends to ask for a review, well, I'll point it out as NOT a 5-star CSR experience. Bonfe policy: I wish they'd offer a more succinct appointment time. I booked an appointment for a date near the end of August (6 weeks out) as they don't schedule for AM or PM, etc... which holds my calendar HOSTAGE for the entire day. Again, not a great customer service policy.

Charged us $100.00 for a service call to attend to a leaky refrigerator. Did not have the needed parts and said they would order and return. 10 weeks and many unreturned phone calls later we gave up and called Thomas Service Company. Thomas Service Company had parts available and fixed frig in under 15 minutes.
Plus Maintenance is unreliable and unprofessional and we would never use them again nor recommend.

When our refrigerator began spewing water and flooding our kitchen we called Ken's Sewer, Drain, & Plumbing after hours and the gentleman who answered was kind enough to talk us through a temporary solution over the phone saving us hundreds of dollars in emergency plumbing expenses. It allowed us to keep the water on for the rest of the house without flooding the kitchen. We were so thankful!

Dan came out at 8am to inspect a leak from our water heater, which turned into 7 hours of hard work replacing the heater and fixing a separate toilet issue. He was upfront with all of my options, various risks and was frank about potential worse case scenarios. I felt very confident in my choices because he gave me all the information I needed. He was friendly, efficient and I appreciated his honesty regarding the work and what needed to be done. After just two visits, Service Star has gained another loyal customer. Chuck and Emile came out and helped unplug the sewer drain that was causing backups from our drains. They were very thorough and made sure the piped were completely flushed before leaving and helped instruct us what we can do to keep the pipes more clean so blocks don't happen again.

After 19+ years of service our furnace quit again, a couple days ago. One call to Home Works and Billy Palm came out immediately. Found a TON of things bad on it. cracked heat exchangers, many out of code gas fitting, no quick fix. Estimates for repair came to 1/2 the cost of a new system. Don was summoned to help use pick a new Carrier heating and AC system within our budget, yes an unexpected investment but I knew it was coming. We were given 4 Temp heaters for the night, they worked great. Brad Claycomb, Dave and Chad were by the next day to do the install and they even let me help, that was fun.HomeWorks are very professional, thorough and a joy to work with.
