Had an issue with sewer backup in my basement. Roto Rooter quoted me $3500 to solve the issue. I called Jake the Plumber and talked to them about the issue. They were very courteous over the phone and asked that I send pictures so they could best prepare for the service call. Over the course of the visit, three guys were at my house and all three were very friendly. When they arrived they expressed concern that the job could be larger than originally anticipated. However, they proposed (and took) a different approach that saved me several hundred dollars and thousands from what Roto Rooter quoted me. I could tell they wanted to do right by me and not overcharge me for unnecessary repairs. They took the time to explain the issue to me, what my options were, and what they did to solve it. These guys checked all the boxes that I look for in a company and I’ll definitely be working with them again in the future. Highly recommend.

I had ENP install a new water heater for me, and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. My calls were promptly returned, everything about the install was explained very clearly and their pricing was transparent. They showed up exactly on time both for the estimate and for the install, got the work done in the time and price that was estimated. Small attention to details like bringing their own blankets to lay down all the way from the back door to the water heaters so as not to dirty my floors impressed me. I hope I don't need any plumbing done soon but if I do I'll be calling them!

Quick & professional! We were having some issues with some basement plumbing. After a quick chat with Jim he thought it may be a partial blockage & suggested a Norblom drain cleaning appointment. Zack arrived promptly for our early AM appointment to clean out our drains. After Zack & my husband added some elbow grease to remove an old stubborn drain cover, Zack found the clog & got us back in business quickly. We are happy with Norblom's service & would use them again.

My ac unit stopped working and with google's help, I came across HomeWorks. They were on time BUT I learnt not to work with them again. Ever! First, their technician came and I told him not to do anything as i need second opinion from another company and still he goes ahead replaces froen gas. I was distracted with my meeting and i signed the approval thinking I was acknowledging his visit. So i thought it was miscommunication maybe and I gave it benefit of doubt.I thought of giving them second chance but guess what! Their sales guy ( Peter ) force closes wired thermostat and bent the wire all the way back. Then he tells me call his boss Scott to call a technician to fix it. I called Scott 2 times - he didn't answer. Called Customer service and she said someone will contact me. It has been more than 10 days and still no call. ( Fixed the wire on my own after waiting for 1 hour). But they should have taken the responsibility to fix what they messed up.I learnt my lesson and been telling my friends also to STAY AWAY from HomeWorks !I worked with other companies since then who were much more caring and professional !I would AVOID HomeWorks based at all costs ! All they want is money without care or professionalism.

2 years ago I had a whole house water filtration system installed. Recently I was contacted to schedule my annual inspection of that system, a service that is provided at no additional charge. I was happy to see my original plumber, Sergio, arrive for the inspection. He was very thorough, helpful and professional. Excellent service!!Now I've had my system for 6 years. Sergio has done a great job keeping it in perfect running order. I highly recommend Sergio.

JD is awesome! We have used him multiple times for smaller projects on our 50's rambler and recently had him help with a bathroom remodel. He replaced all the existing (old) pipes and drain lines and got everything set up so I could install the hardware. Good rates, good service and a great guy!

He went right to work to determine our problem(s) Tyler outlined the repairs needed to restore our air conditioning unit to full function. In addition he suggested additional repairs that could help us avoid breakdown in the future, because our furnace and water heater are very old and will certainly fail soon. I hired Lake State Plumbing to repair all the plumbing in a new to me house. Busted pipes, leaks behind walls, in ceilings, etc. did not stop or slow them down. They installed a free standing tub, Roman faucet, 2 regular toilets, 3 wall hung toilets, 2 tubs, pot filler in the kitchen, fridge water line, replaced all the fixtures, faucets, trims, etc. These guys know their plumbing codes and dare I say are not afraid of anything. I had them out three times to do all the work and I would not hesitate to hire them again on time and materials. They move with incredibly accurate speed and do not mess around. Highly recommended company!
