Best Tankless Water Heater in Minneapolis MN

We've used MN Plumbing & Heating for years, and John H has been out to our house multiple times - outstanding service every time.

Bought a house three years ago. The basement remodel failed to install a floor drain in the laundry room. I did some online research about costs and installation procedures.

I contacted a few plumbers including Jake. All the others either didn’t respond or wanted $100 plus to “come and look at it”.

Jakes got back to me quickly and asked for photos of the install area. They got back to me with a ballpark number which was reasonable. I knew that opening a concrete floor often presented surprises. Jake’s crew of 2 worked several hour in a wet clay base we found under the floor. They did a great job and the drain works perfectly. Jake’s charge was a few hundred dollars over the estimate ( Under $2000 total), but well within the cost info I found on line. If I need plumbing, Jakes is my first call.

After being burned by some of the 'big box' plumbers in this town, I did more research and found a lot of positive reviews and word of mouth testimonials regarding Erik Nelson Plumbing. What everyone said was spot on. Simon and Nick were professional, thorough, and respectful of the space. They explained everything completely at the end of the day, and went above and beyond to leave the space even cleaner than they found it. Had a loose toilet and John did a great job showing me the parts and that they were in good shape as he opened things up. Did a great job, great attention to detail and everything works great. I also got to see the floor underneath and see that there was no water damage.

Dan was so detailed and knowledgeable, leaving nothing unmeasured. We spent over an hour discussing the various issues and projects to plan for. He was also authentic. I had ALOT of questions and topics to discuss. Dan was great at educating me along the way.
I'm getting 2 bids to determine which company I will end up working with. Billy @ Marvel Sewer referred me to Dan and both couldn't say enough good things about the other professional. I am so impressed!

Northern Plumbing and Softening were outstanding! Mason was our onsite installer, he was on time, very professional and answered all of my questions, offered thoughtful ideas and answered my Wife’s questions too. It’s very obvious to me that Mason is very capable, knowledgeable and was just pleasant to have come to our home to replace our water softener.

Our Sales Rep was Jon Lund and he is very knowledgeable and professional as well, with many years of experience. He was very timely and efficient at getting us scheduled for repair at our cabin up north.

And yes I’d highly recommend them to friends and family!

Had my water heater go out over the weekend, called Monday morning to see about a replacement. Within an hour John had shown up and provided a comprehensive list of options and prices. I picked the service I wanted done, and by early Monday afternoon all the repairs were completed. John did an awesome job, was very friendly/helpful, and made sure we got the best possible experience. Definitely recommend this company, I will be using HomeWorks again in the future!UPDATE: Had my furnace and AC replaced today by the awesome guys Chad and Charles from Homeworks. Had the 100ish year old main valve removed and replaced with a modern ball valve, did a super neat and sturdy installation in a timely manner. Chris Also replaced the outside faucet and it’s a super clean install. This company is rock solid.

Can't recommend this company and its plumbers enough! Our neighbors used them with great service and then we did. Replaced water heater in under 2 hours, the longest part was him having to wait for our old one to drain. Chris was our plumber and very personable, competent, and all-around good guy! Price was fair, comparable to Home Depot. Response time was same day for us, which I was VERY pleasantly surprised! They will be our first call if we ever need a plumber again!

Evan did a great job diagnosing our cooling issues, presenting options with pricing and performing the needed repairs on a Saturday. I highly recommend Evan and Genz-Ryan for HVAC installation and repair services.

Zach with MSP was really great! He was patient with us, and when issues came up requiring the gas provider to get involved, he kept a great attitude about it. The price of the service was reasonable, and included additional advice and knowledge from Zach. MSP was able to respond the same day to an issue most providers have been saying will take up to a week, and to resolve the issue with our furnace in a matter of hours.

Mark came out and did the work we wanted done, nice guy great job.

The plumber arrived 35 minutes late to replace a faulty toilet shut off valve that was soldered in place. He didn't have a mask with him so we supplied one. In our upstairs bathroom placed his tools on our bath mat instead of a work towel. He used a torch to loosen the defective valve, and in the process scorched/burned the paint behind the toilet. He failed to use a heat shield to protect our wall. No apology. No response from the owners.

Ty was very informative of what the possible problem could be, and he got everything I needed working. Suggested replacing outlets in different areas of the house, potentially replacing all outlets in the house, since my place was built in the early 80's. Very pleased with his professionalism and expertise.
