Best Plumbing Remodel in Minneapolis MN

We had Danny M as our plumber from TJK and he was fantastic. We called TJK for help with drainage issue with our sink and to clean out our sewage line. Danny actually called out a fix for down the road that will save us a lot of money for an issue that was missed during our sewer line inspection (by another company) when we bought the house last year. He was tremendously helpful, respectful and thorough in his work. I will definitely be using Danny and TJK going forward!

We were referred to Alex by a trusted friend and contractor when we discovered water damage in our linen closet caused by a leak coming from our master bath toilet. Alex responded to us immediately and fit us into his schedule quickly. He arrived early, confirmed our issue (bad prior wax ring installation), and performed the repair quickly at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Alex and Peterson Plumbing!

Had my 15+ year old water heater replaced today by Norblom Plumbing. When I called earlier in the week with questions about the run needed for a powered damper (my previous heater had a very shallow angle), Mike had me take pictures, fully assessed my needs and set up an appt to get the water heater replaced just 3 days later. The installer arrived today - 40 mins early (but he called first and asked permission to come early) - and he had scheduled help to have him remove my old water heater and bring the new one in to the basement. They laid down painters cloth to protect my carpeted stairs and completed the job in just over an hour. My wife and I were shown how this unit works - it's damper is powered compared to my previous unit -- and all works great. The team fully cleaned up the work area and filled out my Xcel Energy rebate form for me to send in for a $150 rebate (done!).

Overall - very happy with the service, speed, friendliness. Would call them again without reservation.

Slow, sloppy, rude, and take every possible shortcut. They make excuses for their grumpy and sloppy team members and say 'but their great at their job'...no they are not.

Updated 2022. Our project part of MAC noise mitigation. 2 and 1/2 years later still trying to get the project done correctly to cool our house and now also dealing with vibration damage from Erickson turning up motors above factory settings.

June 2022 update: October 2021, here we are in June 2022 and little has been done.

October 2022 update: still trying to get vibration damage corrected and fixes to cool entire house. Ericksons, MAC and Crossroads won't return calls or emails.

John was great. Fixed my hot water pressure issue, gave me multiple options with estimates for each. He walked me through how each differed and what the advantages of each were. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the service at Kelly Plumbing has gone downhill. I paid this company thousands of $ for doing the plumbing on a remodeling project a few years ago and was satisfied with the result. I’ve pursued them for months to get them to do the same work at a new property and they won’t even return my (multiple) calls and e-mails. Disappointing.

Highly recommend this company! Jodi was very kind and answered more questions over the phone than any of the other company. Daniel came out within a few hours when our basement was flooding and gave wonderful advice and recommendations. Wonderful people to work with when you’re going through stressful water issues within your home. Thank you!!!

Quick and Professional Water Heater Replacement

Came downstairs one morning to find the floor outside the utility room was soaking wet. Traced the trail of water back to the water heater and identified the leak coming from the bottom of the tank, not a good spot as this is basically a death sentence for a water heater.

Regardless of cause, I had to cut off the water line to the heater and drain it to stop the leak. So now I have no water which I don't think my wife or 5 month old, who uses cloth diapers which require some serious hot water to wash, will appreciate.

I called Hovde and spoke to Sue who was incredibly helpful and genuinely wanted to get someone out to me as soon as possible given the situation. I had to make one quick insurance call after getting an estimate and Hovde was onsite the next day with a new water heater.

Less than two hours after ringing my doorbell I had hot water again, basically it was plumbing magic.

10/10 Would use again.

I have used JD on two of my jobsites so far. He showed up when he said he was going to, despite issues that might otherwise have caused him delays. He has done good work so far, and is respectful of property/people.
I will use his company again.
