Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.

And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.

Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.

Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.

Quick to show up. Cleared tough clog. Very reasonable rates. Will call every time I have a problem.

We have used Paul Bunyan Plumbing and Drains numerous times and I have always appreciated their service! Office staff had always been pleasant and helpful, repair appointments have been scheduled within a couple days - depending on urgency, and I feel their pricing is good, but admit I have not compared. I like that they do work quickly and quote cost and go through options prior to starting the work.I called yesterday late afternoon due to a leaky toilet and they were able to come out first thing this a.m. to replace the wax ring. Forrest was so quick with the work and extremely professional.

Similar to other reviews (wish I would've seen before calling them) they forced me to sign an agreement for $445 to clear a clog just a few feet beyond the kitchen sink trap. Wait, it gets much worse. They ran the snake through the vent pipe and told me this is a bad clog. I asked how he could tell because the snake was whipping above the roof line. He pulled it back in and jammed it so hard downward that it broke the PVC drain pipe, destroying my bathroom ceiling and insulation with 2 full sinks of water. Two guys stood there while I tore down the drywall to find the break. They said it's not their fault because there was no purple primer showing on the PVC pipe and joint. I told them it's never leaked since 1983 when the home was built and that there's such a thing as clear primer. He denied the existence of clear primer. They left me with a broken pipe and huge mess. Cost to repair was 3 days from my job and over $300 of materials (I did all of the work myself). These guys only care about money. Worst contractor I've hired in 35 years that I've owned properties. The two tenants living in that unit can attest to all of this and were also inconvenienced for 3 straight days. I would give them zero stars if possible.

Worst plumber experience ever. The guys price was 200$ over what insurance billed it as. He took advantage because my wife was home and she is short. I had all parts provided, and when questioned the response he gave was, We charge 350$ an hour for labor. all he had to do was attach a sink that was already put together.

This company has a 24/7 phone call. You can call any time when you need the services and you can get the service done the next day if it is not urgen. It is very convenient. They don't charge the fees for plumber's showing and quotes. The final price charged is quite fair. I had Clint came to my house did the work I asked for. He is a very nice guy and I am very satisfied with his work. Thanks Roto-Rooter and thanks Clint.

Charged me $250 for a clogged tub. 15 min of work. Run from this place. Can’t believe they are still in business. Terrible company.
