Well, I literally had a rag go down my bathtub drain, obviously it clogged. I called tuffys at 7:32PM and they gave a me a quote over the phone and Austin came right out, same night! He showed up at 8:05 and went right to work. He was quick, kind, efficient and most importantly, he fixed it! He was out the door by 8:35 pm! I paid the Same price that I was quoted over the phone and I have to say the service was awesome. It was quicker then ordering a pizza. Amazing service. I will call them again when I need a plumber. ☺️

The plumbing crew has a great depth of experience with anything from the installation of new fixtures, to sewer laterals, hot water heaters, and underfloor piping. The heating & cooling team does a great job with all of our ceiling mounted modines, RTUs, and residentially scaled HVAC systems. I highly recommend...

We have been using Hartlaub since we became homeowners and have always been incredibly impressed with the promptness of their services as well as the friendliness and reliability of the staff. We recently had Jack come to our home to help with a clogged kitchen drain and he not only resolved the issue promptly, but also took the time to offer education and preventative services for the future. On top of it all, he allowed my curious and energetic puppy to “help”, which made for a stress free environment in our home. I would recommend Jack and Hartlaub every time!

My bathtub faucet and shower were backed up. They repaired both efficiently and professionally. The communication skills throughout the job were excellent and left me clear on what the problem was and how they would solve it. Now my problem is solved.

I called with a small (non-emergency) plumbing problem and they had me scheduled immediately. Ray showed up in the arrival window he gave and was extremely friendly and helpful. He knew what the job entailed before he arrived and was all prepared and was done quickly. He made some helpful suggestions to simplify the next phase of the project too. $126 for a house call to tell me they can't fix the problem because they can't find where the sewer pump is located. And they couldn't call the contractor who installed it but gave their number to me. Talk about lazy...
The next day I contracted another company and he verified that the sewer pump is located right outside the patio back door in plain site. Obviously the service tech didn't want to do the job and lied to his supervisor about not being able to find the sewer pump.

They'll charge you 150$ just to come and look at your stuff for 20 minutes and get nothing accomplished... But they somehow have free estimates. Theres better companies out there, go somewhere else.

Should have called before I wasted $100.00 to rent a 100' drain snake from Home Depot; the machine Darrel brought was ten times stronger than the rental. Basement drain was backed up, and flooded more whenever water was used anywhere in the house. I called and he quoted me $200 based on my description of the problem. Was late for the morning appointment so I had to reschedule for later that evening (by this time heavy rain was coming down and the basement was starting to flood, so another $100 on a utility pump & hose from Menard's to keep the water at bay until he arrived) but $&#t happens, so I didn't take a star away for that-he came back later that same day. Had the drain down within 10-15 minutes and spent another 10-15 cleaning the pipe out just to make sure things were taken care of. The best part: the quote he gave me on the phone was exactly what he charged me. If you have drain issues CALL ROOTER-MAN!!!

We needed an old drain and pipe replaced. Erik arrived on time, was very professional, replaced the drain, updated the water lines, and even gave us advice on other issues. Price came in under the quote. We will definitely be using them for all of our plumbing needs!

I will start with: I did not use this company for service. I did, however, get an estimate from them. I am rating them 2 stars because the person who inspected didn't even look at anything closely. He just took my input and assumed I knew what I was talking about. Note: I am not a plumber so how would I know what is wrong.

I had an issue with the hot water pressure to my kitchen sink and basement utility sink. The estimate said I would need the pipes leading to that to be replaced. They quoted me for 940 dollars total.

Flash forward and I got a second opinion. Turns out the aerator was the issue on the utility sink. How do you not check the aerator if you are a plumber? That's the most common issue. Anyways, the work on the pipes still needs to be done, but I have a different professional coming in for half the cost now.

I'm giving them 3 stars still, because the women on the phone were nice and I didn't get any work from them to know what kind of job they do.

Always get multiple bids when hiring contractors. Don't always take the lowest bid, but definitely use logic in picking workers.

These guys were not only timely, professional, and efficient, but were quite informative and willing to talk through both process and problem solving.
