Best Garbage Disposal Repair in Madison WI

I had a wonderful experience with Dallman Plumbing services. They had appointment availability the next day, and were able to complete some complex repairs, along with explaining everything that they were doing. The price was more than reasonable for the repairs done, and I’ll be using them again in the future if I have more plumbing issues!

Absolute god damn champions.

I called 10 different plumbing businesses for estimates to replace my garbage disposal and Benjamin Plumbing was ahead by a mile in lowest cost and best warranty. (Not best warranty for the cost. Best warranty of the 10 places I called)

They were friendly, reachable, affordable, and the pumbler was quick, knowledgeable and personable.

I didn't see or smell or old disposal as it was being replaced, no hidden fees, all parts/labor/removing the old disposal was done for $300 I was quoted on the phone.

I can't wait for this new disposal to break down so I can call them again in 5 years.

I discovered my water heater was leaking, and could not remember who installed it so I phoned Robert's Plumbing and Heating since they're right in my neighborhood. I had an inspection within an hour. After having trouble dealing with the warranty on my current water heater, I called Robert's back. They were able to help me with the warranty and are coming back to replace my water heater tomorrow morning! It's my Christmas Miracle! :-)

I had a sewer back up in a rental portion of my home. When I called they were out to my location in 15 mins and cleared the clog very quick and efficient. 100% will use if I need in future and will highly recommend to friends.

Waited for more than 3 hours to do some routine maintenance. The main office coordinator was courteous, and not communicative repeating the routine excuse of high call volume. Disappointing for a reputable company. Not happy about writing this note.

We were able to negotiate a partial refund after discussion, and might have avoided some stress on both sides with more transparency. See the story below.We contacted All Comfort on the recommendation of one of my co-workers who's primary contact with them had been through the new construction and remodeling processes.Our situation was what I believed to be a small, pin sized, leak in a pipe that showed up as a water stain on a ceiling tile in the basement.After leaving an e-mail message one evening, I was contacted the next day by David, who offered to send someone out yet that day, but knowing the small, and intermittent nature of the leak, we set up a time later in the week when my wife would be home.I received another call the next day from David who said he had someone available earlier, and was it possible to send him over that afternoon.Since my wife was home, we gave them the go ahead.Rich arrived around the appointed time, and after some investigation, and my wife running the water in our shower for him, he determined the there was no mechanical issue, but that there was a leak in the tile surrounding the top/shower .For this service, we were charged $222.92.The $65 dispatch fee I was told about when I called, and then another $146.30 for the 1/2 hour Rich spent doing his diagnosis which consisted of taking two screws out that held on the face of the whirlpool tub skirt, and looking into the cavity while my wife hosed the walls down with the hand shower.I have no problem at all with the dispatch fee, which I completely understand. My problem is being billed at a rate of damn near $300/hr for what was basically an inspection service.It makes one wonder what the charge would have been had he actually had to fix something.I understand the uncertainty of a call like ours, but I'm not sure I could ever recommend All Comfort, unless you have an absolute emergency.

Family run quality workmanship

Great experience from start to finish. I needed a kitchen sink hooked up, a little more complicated than normal. They came out to look at what needed to be done for no charge. They came back later and did a great job fixing everything quickly at a fare price. Awesome communication, and gave me a lot of advice along the way.

I have a leakage problem in the basement and the company sent a gentlemen by the name of Mike to fix the problem. He was very prompt and when looking at the leak he found that the problem was with the toilet in the first floor apartment. He removed the toilet and fixed the problem and replaced all the necessary plumbing issues that arose. Make sure that there was not leakage before he left and cleaned up the area. He was very thorough, friendship, helpful and explained what he was doing at all times and answered any questions I had. I found him to be a very good technician and very knowledge. I would recommend him for any plumbing work that needs to be done.

John and Aqua Plumbing did a fantastic job for us recently. He did everything he said he was going to do (and more!) and did it in a timely and professional manner. John's work was very thorough and he never left the site until he knew everything was working as it should. I highly recommend John and Aqua!

We had a whole house humidifier installed in January 2019 and we never got the humidity levels higher than 20% throughout the entire winter. Few weeks ago, I called in for service and the person who installed it himself came back and said that he forgot to check if the HVAC was set to intermittent, which was causing continuous air flow from outside, which made the humidifier install useless. He said everything should work fine from then on and went. After seeing no change in humidity values, I called for service again and another technician came in today and said that the humidifier fan was never running since the outlet it was plugged into was tripped. I am not sure if it was the outlet or if it was something that was loose inside the humidifier itself since he was moving the wires around from inside. So, basically, during the previous two visits, the humidifier was not doing anything.

I called to report a complaint and I was welcomed by this service dispatch lady, according to whom this was not a problem at all. And, it was my responsibility to open up the humidifier, connect the fan by extending the wires, and making sure that it was running. It was also my responsibility to check what the HVAC system was set to during the installation. According to her, I was shown mercy by not charging me for the consecutive visits, to fix their broken installation! Their “best” installer himself admitted that he forgot to check it during initial install, when he was here last time.

All I wanted was them to acknowledge that the installation was bad and accept some sort of responsibility, but, they didn’t. All they did was to try to make it look like it was my problem.

I was really impressed with their work earlier, but I guess you see the true colors of a company when things don’t go as planned. This is the last time I will be calling them for any work, as this sort of behavior to a paying customer is unacceptable.

Main sewer drain was clogged. Very responsive to messages and came out the same day. Price quoted was price charged. Very happy with the service and price. I definitely recommend this company.
