Blackburn and Davis was recommended to us when our steam shower stopped working. They went above in beyond from start to finish - properly diagnosing the problem, working with the manufacturer’s warranty department to receive a replacement part, and installing the new piece. We did not even realize it was under warranty and really appreciate the extra effort they put into it.
So, when we needed a plumber for our water heater we again contacted Blackburn and Davis. They were again polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They promptly and correctly diagnosed the problem and performed the necessary repairs. I appreciate that they took the time to answer my questions while they were here.

I live in a condominium with a Marley water AC system. The whole building cools from the chilled water of a huge Marley tower. Although several companies would work on Marley systems, ONLY Louisville Mechanical, to the best of my knowledge, will come into a residential Unit and fix a system like this. L.M. will charge a premium price, but it's worth it to have AC/heat. This building must be a thorn in Louisville Mechanical's side, but they don't leave us to the elements. They're like expensive Saints.

Shane was great, provided a repair rather than replacement, very reasonably. We are advising neighbors to consider Shane for all their plumbing needs.

I had a new Amana 18 SEER split system installed by Summers recently. They showed prompt and courteous service. There was concern for athe amount of charge, and Eric, the tech, took care of the concern. Don't ever change your business system. Well done!

Brian Scroggins Plumbing did all of the plumbing in a total home renovation. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work and the fairness of their pricing. Brian has always responded very promptly to the unavoidable crises that occur with a large renovation, and he and his crew are great people to work with. Both Alex and Mike were knowledgeable, dependable; and I felt secure with their work. All three were always pleasant regardless of the hour or the job!

We had a clogged drain, so we called this company to come out and clear it. We knew which isolated pipe was clogged and we told the company this. However, this company charged us a $129.00 diagnostics fee. Their diagnostics was merely looking at our pipe locations and telling us where they thought the clog was, which was right where we said it was. They then presented several options, with the most expensive ($1,200+) option first. I told them we would go with their basic option that was $340 (in addition to their $129.00). So, to have them clear our pipe, we were given a base price of $469.00. After one to two hours of work, the plumber said he was unable to clear the blockage and that we would have to pay for the package that was the next level up. This was just a couple days before Christmas, so it was urgent. We were stuck in between a rock and a hard place, so we agreed. Our new total was $662.00 for that service call. The employee went to our basement (with an open ceiling), cut a pipe, drilled/cleared the blockage, and put a boot on. The individual who did the work was professional. Therefore, I left a positive review that day. However, looking back, the pricing is highly unreasonable and questionable. Due to this pricing, I made a recommendation to someone else a couple days ago to go elsewhere when they had a pipe burst due to low temperatures. That company responded and completed the job in a professional manner for $142.00. They did not charge an outrageous diagnostics fee either.
