Now I have my heating and air and plumbing all in one and when/if something happens I know who to contact. My outside system looks new again. They checked inside unit also. Without a doubt, the best experience I ever had with an HVAC company. My air conditioner went out the evening before. I put in a request online early in the morning. I had someone call me back promptly after 8 am. They had a technician out by 10:30 am that same morning. The technician Mikey was very professional and did a great job. My unit is fixed, and I'm a very 100% satisfied new customer! Highly recommend!!!

Summers Plumbing came by and quoted us at $1,000 for a bathroom sink leak. I decided to call my father in law who has a close friend who is a plumber and he fixed it for free!!! Summers claimed they had to go under our house and fix a pipe. It has clearly been fixed without doing so. This company will scan you. Do not go to them!!!!!!!!!

I left VM abt 8:30AM this morning... detailing our problem with heat pump... a short time later got text & email with a confirmation of time later in the day when tech would show up... tech arrived on time and We have a relative new high-efficiency heat pump model and we have been chasing several bugs in the software of the system... All part of the program of having a new high efficiency heat pump.

It's very hard to find a company in this business that puts customer satisfaction over profit margin. Additionally, it's very hard to find a sales representative that has a deep technical understanding of the products they sell. Summers has checked the boxes for the above and more! Adam helped us pick out the perfect system when ours went out and the installers went out of their way to get the system up and running as quick as possible for our family. We are now having to replace our upstairs unit and didn't even bother getting quotes from anyone else. I highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

One quick shout out to Danny who is one of their technicians. He took the time to provide education to me on what each part of the condenser does and how he was troubleshooting it. I can't thank him enough for that effort.

Our sewer line collapsed and after calling 3 other plumbers who we were either put on hold or out of the service area or hung up on Summers came to our rescue. Got Brantley the service tech and this young man was phenomenal! Humble and polite as could be, he diagnosed my furnace issue in less than 5 minutes and talked me through everything while showing me the problem so I understood what I would need to replace and alleviating any concern that it wasnt the best decision. He originally told me it would probably be a day or two before the part would arrive. Then he came back 5 min later and said he would get it done within the hour, and he did. Heat works fine now. I should say that before this I had called a larger more well known service in the area who was extremely late to my appointment and misdiagnosed the issue as a thermistat problem. Ill stick with Summers from now on!

I called and said there is no hurry for fixing my thermostat, and they put me on the list and the tech showed up about 1.5 hours later and looked at thermostat and replaced it and done. Back up and running. Prompt Service, Brantley was very efficient and professional, awesome job. Need anything HVAC related give them a ring, best I have found.

Outside line set was not neatly installed like they did my daughters home. Its functional, but awful appearance. Not sure if gas pressure was set properly. Service tech commented that this was only the second two stage gas furnace he installed. The exhaust and make-up air piping was reversed. Tech said this wasn't a problem. My concern is that the exhaust line has fewer restrictions and ends with a tee connection so all flue gasses go outside. Make-up air piping has more bends (restrictions) and ends outside with a down facing elbow, not allowing all flue gases to escape. The condensate drain line in my opinion was not installed properly. The safety switch which should be installed in the upper drain hole on the coil. That hole was plugged. The other drain hole had the drain line connected to it, which it should, but the safety switch was put in line with this drain. If the drain becomes clogged at the coil this switch is useless and water will overflow down into the furnace. Also, there was no trap or cleanout installed in this line. Tech said not needed due to positive pressure. Based on my 30 years of knowledge I disagree. The sheet metal work was some of the best I've ever seen. For now everything is working, but I do have my safety concerns. I feel they took the easy route and justified in their mind doing that. UPDATE. Crew came back out and we discussed my issues. I agree with them on some, and the rest they repaired to my satisfaction. They were very professional with positive attitude. They have a one year customer satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not happy, they will come back at no charge. Would I recommend them? YES! Would I use them again? ABSOLUTELY!

The Service guys were polite and professional. They placed floor covering over my floors so they didn't track anything in on my floor and wore shoe coverings. They worked non stop. They explained everything thoroughly when they completed and cleaned up inside and out. A+

Mike and Zach did great job. We bought a Moen faucet for our jet tub and the contractor who built house did a poor design and thought we were going to have to cut hole in the side of the tub to fix. But they were able to modify the faucet to fit. thank you

Eric came to do a tune-up on both furnaces and both A/C units. He called ahead and arrived when he said he would. He was pleasant and courteous. He explained what he was doing and even when he thought there was a leak, he used his gauges to make sure and then found there was no leak. I know some may try to convince you of issues that aren't there. He didn't try to upcharge or do anything to make me feel like he was anything other than a very honest and reliable technician. I will definitely continue to use Summers and recommend them to others.

I called Summers telling them my AC was not blowing cool air. Unfortunately I gave them the wrong number to call back. Well about a half hour goes by and I call them and SAY OMG, I gave you the wrong number . I gave them the right number and within 3 minutes I got a call. He was here within 15 minutes. Had an issue with a 2 month old tankless water heater installed by them. They worked with the manufacturer on their own and got me a replacement installed next day!

I had Summers install a water softener that I had purchased online. Zac wanted to be sure that we drained it properly, as the salt can be corrosive to the sewer grinder pump that we have in our house. No other plumber was considerate of this. 5 stars for doing the right thing and doing it well.

HVAC pm on maintenance program

I have used Summers PHC exclusively for heating, cooling, and plumbing for several years now. They have provided new installs, maintenance and repairs on 2 residences and a rental. The office staff is friendly and accommodating, always able to schedule reasonably quick. If you have to leave a message, they get back to you right away. I especially like that the office sends an email saying when a tech is on their way, with a picture so you know who to expect, and the tech also calls when they are headed to my location. This is SO IMPORTANT to me because I can't just sit around and wait all day. The techs usually have repair parts in stock and on-hand, and get parts in quickly even when they have to order them. And most importantly, they stand behind their work. Every single tech I've seen has been pleasant, professional, and hard working - even when they've had to crawl around in a 125 degree attic to install a new system, squirm around in freezing temperatures and mud to fix a broken pipe in the crawl space under the house, and clean out nasty sewer drains that got clogged with roots. Summers may not be the least expensive option, but their excellent customer service, technical expertise and professionalism are well worth any minor cost difference.

Several H/C and plumbing techs have worked with us over the years, but I always ask for Danny for H/C maintenance and repairs. He is, without a doubt, the absolute best H/C professional I've ever known. He is smart, experienced, HONEST, and always friendly. I have NEVER had to question a single thing he's told me.

Last night our water heater went out and I spent most of the night trying to troubleshoot it before calling the professionals, unfortunately it wasn't a DIY that I was comfortable with and the unit was old. I called Summers and they said they would get a technician out to take a look at it. Zac arrived in a timely manner and was extremely helpful, he tried everything to avoid me having to replace it but ultimately it was doneeee. Since it was going into the weekend, we did have them install the replacement and they had us back in action after a couple hours. Highly recommend them!

GREAT customer service and Technician
Was told by another heating and air company that air conditioner was shot and needed replaced. My only option was to spend 8000 for a new unit. Thank god i had listened to my mother and called summers. Mike (the Tech) showed up the day after i was told there was no hope and had my air running in 15 minutes!!! He did say my air conditioner will need to be replaced in a few years but not today. Very nice people to deal with and would recommend them to everyone.

Technicians are very professional and will spend the time to tell you how your system is performing and make reasonable suggestions for maintenance / repair.

Mike showed up on time and got to work. He did all the inside maintenance then check on the outside unit. He said they don’t ususally clean the coils during the winter visits but mine were so dirty that he wanted to take care of it even though that is usually done when it’s warmer. He took care of it all even though I know he had to be freezing out there working with the water in the cold. I appreciate his professionalism.

We were quoted in $89 service charge and a $200 part cost for a capacitor. The service technician came out and said the total cost was $339. This was after he waived the $89 service charge. He fully admits the capacitor is a $30 part that they are charging $339 for.

Excellent job replacing sewage pump. Wish they were a little less expensive, I’d use them for all plumbing needs.

Summers installed and have maintained my HVAC heating and cooling central system. Very bumpy start but wasn't charged for the first couple of visits due to reasons.
Always timely even in after hours operation.

This is my second review for Summer’s plumbing service. We have had them out 4 times now. Zac and Jace installed our new water heater. They had went above and beyond to address any obstacles
or issues that arose due to our house being very old and troublesome. When they ran into
Problems they both worked hard to fix the problem.

Had a water heater die and start leaking late one eve. No massive flood, so partially drained and turned off the water heater. Called Summers the next morning. I had two very professional gentlemen show up at 12:30; very early into the 2 hour window I was given. Two hours later, I had a new water heater installed, the old one removed, and was most pleased by the entire experience. I will use Summers Plumbing again.

Called me that day to ask if it was OK to be EARLY! Never had anyone show up at the stated time much less early. Got there, got the job done, very professional, cleaned up after themselves. Explained the new system, how to use it and maintain it. Great experience! Highly recommend!

I called first thing in the morning because I was smelling a burning smell. Eric came out first and found my water heater wires burning. He was personable, quick, and professional the entire time. We needed our older toilet repaired. It had been running. The plumber replaced some parts and was able to come out same day.

Called in the middle of summer (early July) with an AC system that wasn't producing cold air. They did have an opening available that same day and within an hour - the system was back to normal. It was an easy fix (bad capacitor) and I appreciate the prompt response.

My AC was on the blink. Summers was the best price with a 17 seers efficiency Lenox unit. They were able to install our unit the same week it went down. Nate, Nathaniel, and Eric were all great to work with.

Had complete new system installed in July 22. Had some tweaking to but so far 5 star. Customer service is top notch. Still working on Amana Quality. Will update as needed.
5/12/23 Was out yesterday... AC unit not working. Was a door switch. Taped it so circuit would close. Not sure that was the correct thing to do but worked. Came out today for scheduled maintenance and that went well. My only concern is the Amana unit it self. Has had several minor issues in less than a year but they have resolved them. The insulation on the inside of the unit came loose and caused an issue. Will see what the next couple of months bring.

Excellent in fast service

The old cast iron discharge pipe from the kitchen corroded and collapsed, leaving me with no drain for the kitchen.

Mike Ward and his assistant put in two days of hard work to re-route the old drain, add a new pump and run new pipe across the entire basement to the main discharge pipe.

They were awesome! They answered all of my questions, laughed at my jokes and fixed my plumbing problem. Now I can wash dishes again. (yay)

I have several other plumbing projects to be done in the future and I will certainly be using Summers again.

Maintenance was performed but someone was to contact us the following day about installing a dehumidification system. It was requested that the initial contact be able to discuss with us but he was not knowledgeable. No one had contacted us and it had been 3 business days. I feel our maintenance agreement fee should be reimbursed.

I will add a note to the company though; someone should have called me to let me know he would be late. Instead, I had to call them to find out why he hadn't gotten to my home on time. It was an unavoidable delay and I understand completely but I would have preferred a call from them.

SUMMERS has always been Great! We have used them several times such as for installing a brand new HVAC, tankless water heater, installing a kitchen sink and now for a clogged sink. Yesterday Mike, their plumber, did an outstanding job unclogging a bathroom sink and reinstalling a challenging sink the proper way. I would highly recommend SUMMERS for all of your plumbing/heating/cooling needs for your home or business. They treat you like family!

Eric did a fantastic job and explained options available to either repair or replace our split a/c system. As a bonus he helped me locate the water valve shutoff for the whole house. I have called on Summers in the past and I trust their personnel.

I the market for a new heating & air system. I had several companies come out and give me estimates I did my homework on the systems and decided on the best system for our home. I went with Summers for several reasons.
1) They did what I wanted done, I wanted all new duct work, my old ductwork was 25 years old and not been cleaned and cut and patched on before I bought the house. Everybody kept telling me that I did not need it or they did not install duct work. How do you install heating & air and not do duct work?
2) I knew what size house I had other companies quoted to big of tonnage of A/C units. Bigger is not always better, I have done work for years in the trucking industry so I know how this all works. I went with a 18 SEER Amana heat pump system, WIFI electronic thermostat, upgraded the air filter box and added humidifer. The installers questions me and asked me on several steps of the project because they knew I was finishing off the basement.
I paid a little more but could not be any happier with the system and the workmanship that I paid for.
I now have piece of mind of the system.

Our outdoor AC unit was replaced and all the proper lines ran well. There was a small issue with the drain tube but it was quickly diagnosed and someone was out as soon as possible to fix the issue.

Great diagnostic service call with Brantley. He was checking to see if my outside unit was damaged by the recent ice storm. There was no damage. Were supposed to come between 2:00-4:00 P.M. and came before noon. I wasn’t home but my husband let them in. He doesn’t know if they went in the basement. All they said to him was everything was ok. Well one sink in the master doesn’t work. The drain plug doesn’t work. I was hoping they would fix that. I will call Greenwell to get it fixed.

Today I had tech Brantley C come out to clean my furnace and I was not impressed upon arrival he states he had a ladder but doesn't wish to use it because it is too tall and is on his truck so I offered him mine and he than didn't even want to carry it up the stairs but finally agreed as a woman I'm wondering where have all the hard working men gone he then proceeds to inform me that my filters were put in backwards and I asked him if he was able to put the new filters in and he replied well since I'm going to be here for thirty five more minutes I was just applaud at the conversation and unprofessionalism that he presented and my membership just started I hope it gets better

I highly recommend this company! I've used them a couple of times. They diagnose the problem very quickly. And they don't waste time doing the repair.
Zac called before he came out. He was here at the beginning of the scheduled time slot.
He looked at the stopped up sink and had it fixed in 3 minutes! I'm not kidding. I had used Liquid Plummer, 2 different kinds of plungers, and some stuff called Liquid Fire 3 times and nothing would unclog the very very slow drain.
I didn't believe it was actually fixed at first or would stay unclogged. It's been 3 weeks and no problems since! No, im not gonna tell ya what he did.
Then I had him change a hookup to my dishwasher that I wanted configured differently. He had that done in about 15 minutes and was packing up!
Im very handy around the house, but there are times when a repair gets the best of me. When you want something done right the first time, call Summer's!

After calling a few plumbers when our hot water heater went out, we settled on Summer’s because their technician Mike was the most informative and his suggestions and knowledge checked out with what we had read online ( in regards to electric/gas, stainless steel tank/standard tank/tankless). We ended up going with a gas tankless, it is plenty for a family of 4 and 4br/3ba house. So glad we went with this system! Mike also helped us with an after hours water leak in our PRV which we initially thought he’d have to cut the wall open to access. But he prevailed, although I’m sure he busted some knuckles on the small opening. I highly recommend this company and technician.

Our main water line was leaking. I called on a Friday and scheduled an estimate for Monday morning. The plumber was on time, thorough, and completed the fix before lunch. On Friday, the competition said they couldn’t even come estimate until the following Wednesday - then they would have to schedule someone else to do the work on another day.

Upon completion of my call for service, I was told I was have a tech here in the morning. An email verification would have made all the difference in the world, assuring the approximate arrival time of the tech. I could have been wrong with the arrival time, but, again, the email would have straightened that out. Please offer an email confirmation for all appointments, as waking up very early when working very late is a major inconvenience when it wasn't necessary. The tech listened to everything about my issues with the a/c and had it repaired in no time at all. I will continue to use Summers for all of my repairs and maintenance, but I will request all appointments be confirmed via email.

Worst ever. They have come to our house FOUR times since we moved (late October) and failed to fix the problem (Its December 19th). We only went with them because we bought this house and they were the ones who the previous owner used when it went out the first time right after closing. The most recent visit from Summers, I told the tech the issues we had, and he basically said not my fault. Also, he said there were no notes from the previous visit before that explaining the issues and what they did. Called BJ's and they were there within hours. BJ's does great work! Call them. Our whole family has used BJs and never had any issues like this. Not Summers. Horrible. Stay away

Customer service with scheduling and the actual plumbers that came was actually 5 stars. Company came highly recommended. But We had a VERY simple fix. Guys were at my house for about 20 minutes and had to install a $40 part but I was charged almost $700 because of their fee schedule. Ask for pricing before you schedule!

Summers installed an HVAC system in my home to replace a 20 year old system. I did a lot of research on various systems from various manufactures. The upper end systems are worth the extra cost in terms of comfort and I hope reliability. Although I have had my Lennox system for only a short time, I certainly notice a difference in comfort. Of course we have not required the use of heating yet, but the air conditioning and humidity control is superb. Our system is extremely quiet. Even standing within a few feet of the outdoor unit, I have to look in at the fan to tell if it is running. I certainly know when air conditioners down the street start up, but never mine. I have used Summers to do my semi-annual maintenance on my system for a few years now. Their technicians are knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and professional. After that experience, I felt comfortable hiring them to install my new system. The two installers were fantastic. They worked as an efficient team and completed the entire job in a day. I was kept informed throughout the project, because I asked a lot of questions. My wife carried on her normal routine because they did not disrupt things with excessive noise or any mess. When the installation was started, I was asked pertinent questions about placement of the outdoor unit and I made some requests concerning the routing of exhaust in the basement unit. Everything I requested was done. When the job was complete I was given training on proper operation and routine maintenance of my system. The use of my WIFI thermostat was thoroughly explained. I examined all work areas after the teams departure and I can report absolutely everything was cleaned up and all remnants of my old system removed, as was all packaging for my new system. Summers did a marvelous job and I highly recommend their work. My research indicates that the vast majority of issues with a sophisticated system are due to installation mistakes. Summers appears to have done a fantastic installation and I have a guarantee that for the next year they will fix any issues that might arise and if I don't like my system they will remove it and refund my money. I certainly see how they can make that promise because the equipment matches my needs and I am confident everything was done right. If you need a new HVAC system or maintenance on your current system, call Summers. I know you will be as happy as we are.

Mike Ward (Master Plumber) came to our residence today. He was 100% professional, cut no corners, and made an accurate diagnosis of the problem. He worked diligently, to make the necessary repairs. I want to acknowledge that this review is being wrote during the CO-VID 19 crisis. I know it has to be hard to sacrifice and come into others homes not knowing if someone could be infected with this virus. Big thank you to Summers Plumbing Heating and Cooling and Mr. Ward for being there in our time of need.

Expansion valve in new Lennox AC was sticking. Brantley introduced a lubricant that was made to lubricate the valve into the system and followed it with more coolant because it was still cool outside when they installed the unit in May and needed to put more coolant in.

Annual inspection of A/C was done. We have an annual service plan with Summers HVAC. We have used this company since we moved to this area 6-1/2 years ago, and we are very pleased with the great customer service and quality of work performed.
