Best Tank Replacement in Baltimore MD

Like many over this past Christmas weekend. We had a busted water pipe due to the cold weather. I placed a call and with in minutes spoke with Ty and set up a time to get my pipe repaired and water back in our home. The response time(less than 24 hrs), honesty, and professionalism was top notch. I’ve finally found a plumber I can trust! Wish I’d of found this company years ago. They showed up as promised, on time and got the job done!

I was referred to Electric Eel by a friend. I called 7:30 p.m. on a Friday and Dan (the owner,) answered. He offered me excellent advice which saved me hundreds of dollars. He was able to come to my home on Monday and service my system, as promised. He charged me a reasonable price. I DEFINITELY recommend this company to service your plumbing needs.

I'll never call another company. Service and quick response time is unmatched. I'm a general contractor and wouldn't hire my own team over len the plumber Derrick was amazing. Matt The operator was awesome. Andrew, I want to say site manager was incredible. The other two gentlemen that were on site were also extremely professional and kind. All around 10 out of 10. Everybody involved made the check much easier to sign in the end. No one wants to spend money. As a general contractor, I'm pretty knowledgeable in the field but I was also educated on the process which again make sign in the check a little easier. Everybody involved was as careful as could be to my garden and my 50-year-old Japanese maple.

After getting over my head with a DIY plumbing project, I needed help. So, I called Catons Plumbing in the late afternoon and had the pleasure of meeting Lal (#2765). He came right over late in the evening and immediately got to work. He was professional, courteous, and respectful of our project needs. Glad I made the call and Lal from Catons plumbing answered. I’d absolutely call again!

Nothing like sewage back up into a bathtub. Wasn’t fun, but made much less painful by the service: Daniel was there in about an hour, talked me through every step, and cleaned up beautifully. Thumbs up.

Justin has been tremendous on both occasions we have used him. He came and replaced a spicket in our garage that was leaking and he came the SAME DAY to fix our hot water heater. He is fair priced, very knowledgeable, very professional and a great guy. We highly recommend his business.

From the minute I called Michael & Son, I knew I was in for a great experience. Within an hour of my frantic call, our technician Adam appeared, quickly assessed our 26 year old leaking water heater, gave us the estimate, and 3 hours later we had our new unit installed and ready to go. We will call them again for future work. Adam worked himself in a hot basement with all his COVID gear on, gave updates along the way, and make us feel comfortable with the work performed. I forgot that Fitz Mechanical was the installer of my furnace, but when it was in, they removed the old furnace (THANK YOU THANK YOU), and did a beautiful job on checking up on it (FOR FREE), any problems I wanted checked out a few weeks later.. And the cost of the new furnace was two thousand dollars less than any of the other furnace companies in my area. However there's been an army of sales calls from home warranty companies that I considered, but am through with, and maybe Fitz was pressured into being part of this conglomerate of sales calls, which I am sorry has happened to them. So that there is no misunderstanding about this, I would like to say that FITZ MECHANICAL IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR FURNACE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE!! if they also offer home warranty plans, I would make sure that some other warranty companies do not hack a potential customer into being sold a program that is not FITZ!

Nick was recommended to us by our electrician. Nick is very responsive and can always squeeze us in. We first used him to hook up our new dishwasher and ice maker. The installation guys wouldn't because of my pipes were considered 'old'. Regardless, Nick came over in the evening and had both hooked up quickly. He even moved my old dishwasher out to the garage.

Recently, we used Nick to clear our clogged kitchen sink drain. He came out the same day and was done in under an hour. He is great to work with and I will definitely recommend him.

We loved our technician, Joel Meltzer- 5 stars! We are mixed on how Horizon handled fees and on their response time- 3 stars. Here's the good stuff first: Joel did an exceptional job with our colossal drain backup. He went above and beyond in time and service, to clear the drain. Two and a half hours of hard labor: snaking down to the main drain, cutting and replacing sections of pipe both underneath the kitchen sink (we used drano and caused the pipe to crack), and in the main pipe down in the basement. With the unexpected additional cost to replace the cracked p-trap under the sink, Joel applied a coupon to keep the cost down. The total repair was just over $200, which we found extremely reasonable, since a more standard drain cleaning would cost that, and would likely not take 2+ hours to get done!Now the questionable: changing fee quotes. We called Friday afternoon and were quoted a flat rate of $99 to clear a drain. We didn't immediately schedule, and when we called back just a few hours later we were quoted $199 for the *exact same service*, which we found disturbing. While we were told Horizon would honor the first quote, there was no explanation given for the different price, on a same-day call for the same exact service.Finally, the disappointing: response time. Part of Horizon's appeal is 24/7 service. We were offered a same-day response on our first call, but just a few hours later we were told it would take two days for them to come out. We get it's the weekend, but that was a huge disappointment from a few hours to a couple of days. Then on Sunday they canceled our appointment. They called to say they were dealing with a gas leak and had to reschedule until the following day. So all total, it took not a few hours, but 3 days for Horizon to send someone to us. That meant the entire weekend without running water in the kitchen, not good!That being said, Joel was exceptional; the work and the cost were extremely reasonable. We would use Horizon again, with the hope that the response time would be better. In the future, I would be sure to ask if their fees change based on time of day or week, because that flat rate change with no explanation did bother me, even though they did honor the first quote.

They replaced my old gas cooktop that needed special attachments. They did a fantastic job. Very clean and professional work. It works great.
