They came out right away. Had to schedule a come back time to do the work. 1st day scheduled had to be pushed a day due to scheduling mishap in their office. Took all day to remove a shower and install a new one. The guys were nice and professional. I wasn't too happy with the finishing look of the tub and shower surround. Edges uneven, caulk white and clear and messy. Plumbing part was good. It was pricey considering the final look of the job, hind sight, we should have shopped around for a better price with finishing work, as we have to do the drywall spackle and finishing ourselves.

I called for a broken faucet. Small job but these guys were out the day after the call. Super super friendly and excellent customer service. Explained everything in detail and I didn’t have to take out a second mortgage which is always a bonus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stephen for your plumbing needs.

Installed a Gas line for my New Samsung Gas Range. Adam explained every step of the process as he was doing it. Very friendly and very knowledgeable.

I only have good things to say about the service technician, and the same day service. That was terrific. But I do take issue with the pricing.I woke up with a wet kitchen floor due to a defective garbage disposal, and naturally I panicked, since I am 80 years old, and have no one to help me. I remembered the ads on the TV for Horizon same day service so I called immediately. I was told there would be a 49.50 charge to come out. Thinking that Horizon prices would be competitive with the market, I agreed. What a shock! It was over 600.00 for the job. I let the technician do it since I didn't want to to pay the service charge for nothing. In retrospect, I should have paid the charge and said goodbye. I would have been ahead of the game by letting Home Depot do the work for about 300.I really think Horizon should be more upfront with their prices which seem to be overinflated.At my age and situation in life, 600 is a LOT of money for me to put out at one time. I've learned a lesson--------get several estimates! I was so impressed by all the ads on radio and tv, but I'm afraid they don't tell the whole story.UPDATE-----After speaking with the Customer Service Manager at Horizon, I am changing my review from one star to 5 stars. I was very impressed and somewhat surprised by how anxious the company was to resolve any issues their customers had. They certainly resolved mine in a most timely manner. The service rep was not just informative, but pleasant and empathetic. Horizon Services will be my go-to-guy whenever I need a plumber.

I never had to second guest if I was beening over charged. Never had to worry about what had to be repaired. His word is trustworthy.

I was very impressed with our experience with this company. My thermostat went out during a spell of very cold weather (the Polar Vortex) and they had someone out within an hour or so of my call. He never suggested anything unnecessary and, in fact, only charged me the flat rate for coming out - even though he fixed the short in my thermostat and I drug him all over the house getting quotes on other issues. He was polite and professional and even smiled and talked to my kids. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone in the Greater Baltimore area.

We had our hot water heater replaced. Edwin, I believe, was the name of the plumber/technician, was excellent. The crew arrived on time, worked tirelessly to complete the job and was professional and friendly. We were impressed and very satisfied with our service and would recommend BMC highly.
