Best Repair Work in Indianapolis IN

We had JW's Plumbing out for a free estimate to repair a sewer pipe leak. Ryan came out and spent quite a bit of time with us explaining all the options for repairing it and showing us picture of all the aspects of the job in our crawl space. Since we have an older house, there are lots of issues with how much copper pipe to take out, and how to tie new repairs in to the old plumbing. Ryan was spectacular in giving all the options and explaining potential issues we might run into and how we can handle them if they happen. When we scheduled the estimate, we were told Ryan would have to return to the office to prepare the quote and email it to us. He actually ended up doing it right there on site and we were able to schedule the work to be done on Monday (today is Thursday). So far we're very impressed. We haven't had the work done yet, but expect it will be done well. Grateful to find a smaller, family run, local plumbing company with truly free estimates, and transparent quotes about pricing, how many workers will come to our job, how that will be billed, how long the job should take, etc.

Last week our main sewer drain backed up. Another company came out and couldn't fix it and got their snake stuck in our lines and refused to remove it unless we allowed them to dig up the pipes. This would have cost upwards of $12,000. After a few days of calling 811 to have all the lines marked and prepared to dig, we came across Mark with Drain Busters. It took him less than 5 minutes to remove the snake the other company got stuck and couldn't get out themselves. Then he ran 25 ft. further than they did with his monster drain buster and cleaned the sewer lines out to the street main. He did this in 30 minutes and the lines aren't even broken like the other company said. He was able to get all the tree roots and gunk out of our lines and everything is running better than it ever has. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO MARK!!

We will use him for any plumbing we need done in the future and will surely recommend him to everyone we know.

Have used Carter's several times over the last few years on a variety of less serious repairs including washing machine outlet box replacement, outside spicket removal/installation (don't keep your hose on the spicket through the winter?), and water pressure valve replacement most recently. We've had different technicians each time, but they've all behaved with the same professionalism, care, and understanding that you could possibly hope for. I would recommend them to everyone for any service, and I'll plan on keeping this review updated as I continue using them for my plumbing needs.

My work is not done, I am owed a water heater, water softener, hook up of the pressure tank. Almost paid in full and most of the work is not done. I question a few things that are done if they are done correctly. No one answers the phone now. Was told they went out of business last week. I called left two messages and now I get a busy single. Any update would be appreciated. I pray they follow through and get it done.

Had this business quote replacement of AC and furnace- their quote was more than double the competition- $9000 vs $4000 by a couple reputable other companies. Yikes! I shop around when I am spending this much money. They clearly depend on customer ignorance.

Damaged my floors - Had a water heater with a defunct gas valve. They came to replace it. A few days later I noticed the floor buckled with water damage. Pulled the plank up closest to the water heater and there was standing water under it. Extends to the wall of my laundry room. No damage near the washer so the obvious source is the water heater. Old one not leaking. New one not leaking. Used towels to clean water during install so there was a water issues at that time. They ignored my first call and contact via website. Second call they answered but took no accountability for the damage. Laughed at the suggestion the replace the damaged area. Unprofessional. Unaccountable. Bad hearted person to leave the job like that and leave the homeowner to deal with it.
