I had a very unpleasant experience using Beacon Plumbing. First my hydronic heating system failed one night, and I troubleshoot the system to the best of my abilities. I reasoned that the circulator pump had failed. Not knowing the system well, I opted to call a plumber just to confirm my suspicions, or tell me what was really wrong with my heat. I called Beacon since they were a 24 hour service call, and I had no other experience. I WISHED I READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON YELP BEFORE I CALLED! While on the phone I asked if they were familiar with hydronic heating and they were very quick to tell me yes, they were. When the service tech got there and I showed him the system, he was very lost. After a while he troubleshot the system and told me the exact thing I told him what I thought was wrong. He then proceed to tell me that I needed a $962 replacement pump, I bite my lip and said yes, because I did not want my kids to be without heat during the night. He then went through his truck and said he didn't have one and couldn't get one till tomorrow. I should have said don't worry about it and I would get one, but I didn't for some reason.
The next day he showed up and hour and a half later than when he said he would be there or call to update me. They installed the pump within 30 min and got the heat running. Later I looked up the pump that they installed and found out it retails for only $250!
I PAID $962!
I called Beacon and asked why a pump that retails for only $250 was $962 and they could only tell me that they include labor in the cost of the part. I asked why they could not tell me what the part actually cost and how much labor was and they refused. I was immediately transfered to someone else that would say the same thing and only would audit my case to make sure I was charged correctly. I do not understand why they couldn't tell me how much they charged for labor or the cost of the part.
These people are unethical, and do NOT deserve your business, time, or money.

I cannot say enough good things about these plumbers and the rest of the crew who came to the rescue when the ancient cast iron sewer pipe at my home finally could be hydro jetted no more--too many breaks, too many tree roots. Using ingenious technology, they replaced it in a single working day.

We had a slow leak in our upstairs wall, that over time we saw wet spot on our ceiling. Called waterways and they were able to find the leak and repair it quickly. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

Shane’s done a couple small jobs for me now. The guy’s a pro—reasonably priced, stays in budget and he’s just an all around nice guy. He even follows up a few days after the job to make sure the everything’s good. Who does that?!

Don’t call anyone else. Shane’s your guy.

Great company to Work with and great Sewer Repair Work.

We had a leaking, running toilet and the downspout on our shower stopped working allowing us to only take baths. We called Fairway Plumbing Co to make a service appointment to have it repaired. They sent Austin Thomas out , he was friendly , arrived on-time and took care of all our plumbing issues quickly and at a very fair price. We are so appreciative and cannot wait to take a hot shower! Highly recommend Fairway Plumbing Co. We will definitely use again if needed.

Highly recommend Josh! This was our 3rd time having Bee's Plumbing & Heating come out to fix toilet and kitchen faucet issues. He took his time to fix a previous plumber's mistakes, even though it took a few hours. Our water pressure was better in the old broken faucet, but was extremely weak in the brand new replaced faucet. I really appreciate his thoroughness and his response to my concerns. He took his time to explain things to me which I greatly appreciated.

Taj Plumbing does a wonderful job—they are skilled, prompt, honest, kind, and reasonably priced. Seth even came to our house on a Sunday and worked all day because he knew we were in desperate need of a functional washer. He came back a couple of days later to fix a leak (due to manufacturer’s defect in a sink pipe) and insisted on using his own parts at no cost. I highly recommend Seth and team for any plumbing needs that arise.

They had the highest quote and high pressure sales. I got three quotes: first quote was $500 less that’s theirs. Second quote, unfortunately didn’t get to me until after Jafco high pressure sales person came over. They did meet the first quote, but in the end I paid $800 more for the same work. Make sure you shop around and don’t give into high pressure sales. Not like sewer repair is a fun way to spend money in the first place but $800!!!!!????

I recently had a hot water tank failure at my Seattle triplex but I live in southern CA. Having talked to 3 plumbing companies (all very busy), Fischer Plumbing was able to get the job done for me the fastest and their price was comparable to the others. They communicated well, were trustworthy in following instructions for access to the site, removed all old equipment, and did a professional job. Seth (estimator) was easy to work with and the charge was exactly what they quoted. Best of all, he found a comparable tank to what was there, whereas the other companies could not. I would recommend Fischer Plumbing.
