Best Plumbers in Pittsburgh, PA
Called Dave after my own unsuccessful attempt to unclog my bathroom sink. He was punctual, friendly, reasonable and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how the plumbing is configured in my bathroom which I appreciate. I would use his services again and highly recommend.

Had an incorrect install of a few widespread faucets in two bathrooms on Saturday by a handyman. Restano came in an emergency call Sunday after leaks and fixed them within an hour and a half. A little pricey but did a great job. I had called at 9am and they were there on that Sunday by 11. Very pleased.

Brandon was wonderful to work with. He replaced an old cast iron drain pipe in our basement and did a number of other smaller projects. He's responsive, informative, and polite.

Great job installing our new hot water tank. Installation Tech was professional and efficient. Cleaned up and was on his way, hardly knew he was there. Have used before for bathroom work. Definitely recommend if you need plumbing work done.

Mike came out quickly to give me a quote on work I needed to have done at my property. The price was reasonable and he came back with his team to finish the job quickly. I couldn’t be happier and will be utilizing his services from now on my plumbing needs.

Great plumber who will call you back, show up on time, communicates well and does solid work. 1st dealt with Coulehan Plumbing for an emergency call and have been using Jerry ever since. With an old house we have a lot of plumbing projects so we are glad to have found trusted plumber.

We had a heat pump installed, the first cooling system our 50s house ever had. The install was quick, even with taking time to answer any remaining questions and to properly greet both toddler and cat - professional without being stand-offish. The consult was great, too, and we appreciated that they took the time to argue for the least expensive option just as fervently as for the more profitable ones.

EDIT: The longer time passes, the less thrilled I am. I have had two separate contractors come through since for specific needs and they have been absolutely furious on my behalf for the quality left behind. I'm kind of sickened that I paid so much for so little. Honest indeed.
DO NOT use them for electrical work. At all. It will not be to code.
DO NOT use them for outside work. At all . I will be spending $$$ to redo dirt work and a concrete stoop which has turned into a bridge to my door.

Four for craftsmanship, three for everything else. I went with Honest Renovators after reading a lot of five star reviews, but I think that did them a disservice setting my expectations too high. The quality of the work is good-- solid not perfect. I wasn't thrilled they ran a month and some behind schedule, but it is what it is. They were up against the same challenges everyone has now for price of materials, production delays, availability of labor, all the joys of the COVID era. Costs were on the high end: hopefully that means they're paying the guys a living wage. Where I was distinctly underwhelmed was materials sourcing and organization. Delays and waste could have been avoided. I felt like their purchasing agent and it was coming straight from my wallet into their blackhole. I think these guys are much better off with small projects of limited scopes where they can understand and keep track of them. Use them wisely and they'll do good work.

Strongly recommend! I needed a mini excavator for 3 days to replace a retaining wall and extend a pipe line. A number of businesses in area had them to rent and decided to rent from Reliable Pro Plumbing & Excavating. The rental and delivery / pickup price was much cheaper. Upon delivery Jason Mavilla spent as much time as needed to teach me to use it. When I had a question one morning, he immediately answered the phone and helped me. The equipment is of excellent quality at reasonable rates. Jason is the key to superb customer service.

My furnace began to randomly stop working and buzz loudly. Came across AG Plumbing searching google reviews. The owners were hands on from the initial call to completion of my project. They were thorough in explaining the issue, provided me reasonable quotes for both fixing or replacing the unit.
They we very friendly and professional providing frequent updates on part ordering, delivery and promptly scheduling installation. They even included fixing a leaky pipe that I found after they had already given me my quote and didn't change the price when processing my payment. I plan on contacting them for future projects and recommending to my friends and neighbors.

Our home warranty, (AHS, which in my opinion, is just as much to blame for this experience) like many other reviewers, sent us this option:
Kind of unprofessional and rude in the sense that he came to look at our hot water tank issue and said to my husband, and why do you think there is a leak? when the floor and top of the tank was completely soaked. Basically started talking to us like we had no idea about plumbing and tried to scam us from the start. They then proceeded to tell us that a new tank would not fit in the current space, and they don't even make that size anymore and that we would have to move it to another location or BUST DOWN WALLS that would cost us 6 grand!! We called another company and told them our situation and without submitting pictures for proof or sounding like we were being questioned on our knowledge of the issue, they told us exactly what we needed and the cost. They came and replaced our expansion tank, hot water tank and replaced the old, broken regulator which fixed our water pressure issue (which is why our warranty wouldn't cover our repair) IN UNDER AN HOUR FOR A FRACTION of the price and with a better warranty.
Home warranties and the third party companies they contract with, are meant to make new home owners feel secure and protected in their first big purchase, when buying the home and feeling like they will be taken care of if something like my situation and service request ever arises. I felt the complete opposite and moving forward, I would never recommend either company to anyone. Shame.
