Fred helped replace the water pressure regulator in our home and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service. He was a wealth of knowledge and has been around the industry long enough to point out which parts are expected to hold up and others that aren't as reliable. It was a clean, professional install and he left the area looking better than when he arrived. It was well worth the money and certainly became our go-to plumber for projects that are above my paygrade.

I have used MJ Flaherty for years. Recently need furnace checked and issue with thermostat was fixed. Replaced my e pension tank on hot water heater, fixed a faucet and bathtub stopper. Turned pressure down to normal. Noted that my plastic water meter was leaking and told me to call water company. Honest. Prompt. Neat. Responsive. Respectful. Will continue to use them and highly recommend. Good people.

Our sewer was totally clogged. Called at 10 am, they said they would let me know by early afternoon when someone could come. They were here before noon.

Their plumber worked diligently to find and clear the clog, but it was a stubborn one. After snaking all the possible traps and drains they went with a hydro-jet and finally got it cleared.
Great care was taken with our property and they cleaned up really well before they left at 4 pm.

We had a similar problem two years ago that Gillece charged over twice the amount to do the exact same thing.

This is an honest, old fashion local family business, the type that are becoming relicts of a bygone era. From the wonderful and accommodating woman who handled my call to both of the gentlemen who work on our clog, we could not have expected or received better service, expert knowledge, and honest pricing. They even put up with my yapping little dog all day!

Mr. Flaherty showed up when he said he would. Checked the plumbing around the tub and found no problem. Tested the tub in other areas and did find a small leak in the tub itself. He did not have to give that extra effort.
A real gentlemen and an honest businessman. I hope he is around for many years to come.

Fantastic service found a sewer problem that nobody else could find with their sewer camera. They dug up garage floor by hand replaced clay pipe with pnc. Fixed concrete perfectly!! The only plumber I will use from now on !!!

Tim and Fred were very responsive, thorough, and demonstrated a great knowledge. Opened the main sewer line and will be providing a solution to a continual problem which others ignored. Highly recommend!!

I have been using Flaherty Plumbing & Heating for 21 years. Never had any issues - plumbers are always professional, clean up after job is done, great work.

I've used This company for years. They have replaced my sewer line, my main water line, and gas line, put in a french drain and sump in my cellar. They have fixed waterlines all over my house. I would not hire another plumber to do my work. No matter what gets torn up, in the process they always return everything to a better state than when they started. And it is always included in the price. Pricing is fair and although they get caught up on other jobs sometimes, they always get here. That's what happens when you are best at what you do.

Called them for more then a week to make an appointment. They finally said that will send someone to stop by. At the day of the appointment they call me up and say that We are not able to make it today . are you people serious? I took off work to be able to be home when they come and they CAN'T MAKE IT. This is ridiculous, No wonder business are closing down.

I have used MJ Flaherty a few times and have always been extremely happy and satisfied with their work. They were on time, friendly, professional, patient and polite. They took the time to explain what work was being done...all the while I was looking over their shoulder, lol. I would highly recommend MJ Flaherty!

Called MJ Flaherty plumbing they came out the following day, Fred showed up and got right to work, finished up when he said and did a great job, excellent work and a reasonable price, I've already recommend them to two co workers, i definitely will be using them as my plumber.

I wish you could give them zero stars but that isn't an option. For the first appointment the man was over an hour late, for the following appointment, the man didn't even show up! I waited 1.5 hours and called to see if he was coming, the woman at the office said she would find out and call me back. Surprise, she didn't so I called back 30 minutes later and she told me she didn't hear back from him and that he probably wasn't gonna show up. She didn't offer any other solution because it was 5 pm so everyone else had gone home. After waiting a total of 2.5 hours in my freezing house for someone to show up, I left and guess who pulled up next to me at a stop light going in a direction away from my house...the guy who was suppose to be at my house 2.5 hours ago! They are a terrible company and its no way to do business. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! TERRIBLE service!

Promt professional skilled and reasonable price.

They are REALLY busy. Worked for my parents for years at their residence and investment properties. The woman that answered the phone was very kind and concerned. Unfortunately because they are SO busy, I have had to find another company. Several years ago they put a back flow in for sprinklers. The work was very good.

Flarherty Plumbing and Heating use to be very good and would work any holiday or even weekends to get the job done under senior MJ. Today, they won't even return a call for an emergency. We have moved on to more responsive plumbers.

Ive used MJ Flaherty several times over the past few years. They always send Fred, who is a great guy and really nice to talk to and work with. My first experience was when I redid my laundry room. They were very prompt and did a fair amount of work under budget which was nice. I then had them do some work in my bathroom installing new fixtures, drains, setting the toilet, etc and again they were excellent. I recently moved and was having issues with my tub in the kids bathroom only dispensing extremely hot water preventing us from giving the kids a bath. I called them and they had Fred out to my house within the hour and he got it fixed same day. They are my go to plumbers and would recommend them to anyone in need, great service!

They removed a broken garbage disposal and put a part in the tank of the toilet to stop it from running. They charged my 83 year old mother $316. Beware if you’re elderly because they make take advantage of you too! Highly NOT recommended.
