It was a pleasure working with Grant and his crew. Once we got the landscape plan developed the work was timely, and professional. I only had to wait less than a week to have them start (other companies have had me wait >6wks). Grant worked with me to keep the project within my budget. Good Morning,...sorry for late replay. On Monday,May 23rd...Issac from TLC came to service my sister's swamp cooler for Summer. This young gentleman was prompt, courteous, and spot on w/ his observation, recommendation, and service. Totally happy ..a keeper!! Thank you for everything. Will definitely be in touch in future

R & R Plumbing replaced a hot water heater in my basement for me last week, did a great job, which passed inspection by the city with no problems this morning. The plumbing team were prompt, courteous, and clearly knew their business.

The reason that I only give them four stars is that they came back the next day to check out some of the duct-work because there were holes in it, and they weren't sure whether or not a lot of duct-replacement work would be necessary. Happily, it was just that small section, which took literally ten minutes to replace -- and then they presented me with a bill for $148 for that little job: 2 men, 10 minutes. These were the same guys who'd told me that if the inspector demanded that they insulate the new duct work, it would take half an hour and cost $55.

So no discounted rate for a follow-up visit for me, apparently, presumably because I hadn't asked for that beforehand. I paid, but I called R & R to protest the size of that second bill. The man I spoke to was, I think, the owner, and he was rude and uncooperative: Would you like it better if they'd taken an hour? is NOT a customer-friendly response to $148 for ten minutes' work seems very high I was angry enough to come here and post about it, and I'm still angry. That's no way to run a service business!

In fairness, though, the plumbers themselves were prompt, responsive, and did good work. I would recommend nailing down the price for any follow-up work on the spot before having them come back to (as in this case) do a small bit of work to complete the job. And when you call to speak to them, ask for Corey, their usual phone person. She's as friendly and professional to work with as the tech guys.

Unprofessional staff. Didn't finish the job they advertised. Would not return calls. Had to have them come back out to fix issues. The hot water heater was replaced and they never came back out to fix the dry wall. Should have went with Pearl Mechanical as I originally got a same price estimate from them. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I have used Alta Plumbing before and Alta was leaps and bounds more professional and communicative than Valdez.
