When my a/c went out on a Friday afternoon, I left a message with Rick's. They called back on Sunday and came on Monday morning. The workers were competent, friendly, and willing to explain everything to me (I am not skilled in mechanics!) They quickly found the issue and repaired it. I couldn't be more pleased!

I have used Rick's multiple times! They are always very responsive and helpful! They also give discounts to seniors, veterans and active military. I highly recommend them!

We received exceptional, professional plumbing services from Jorge at Rick's Plumbing and Heating. Jorge was professional, dedicated, skilled, and punctual. Had we known we'd have such quality service at a fair price we'd have contacted Rick's sooner. Jorge came out to our home fix a leaking shower bathtub faucet. These parts are uncommon as our house is very old. Jorge located the parts which were rare. If he couldn't find them he said he'd have fabricated them for us. He fixed a leak which we had for years and replaced parts which were almost impossible to find. We were so impressed with Jorge, we scheduled him to return the following week to replace our kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. Our sink was in terrible condition. Our pipes below were leaking and we had two buckets to catch the water. It was kept together with rubber bands, plastic gloves and caulk. Jorge tackled one of the worst sinks, pipe situations he'd ever encountered. He worked tirelessly and got the job done. We now have a gorgeous sink and faucet, and no leaking pipes! It's no exaggeration to say he made a big difference in our lives. My husband and I are now looking for projects to have Jorge back. Thank you Jorge! Thank you Rick's!

Good company

Our swamp cooler was on its last limb and we were in desperate need of a replacement. The guys over at Rick's did an amazing job. They were responsive, prompt, and very competitive with their pricing. I'm all about supporting local and these guys will definitely earn my business and referrals in the future. They also take care of veterans which is huge to me. Definitely recommend 10/10 service.

Rick’s was at my house within an hour of my initial call, when other plumbing companies told me they couldn’t get me in for at least a week. The plumber that came was very nice and knowledgeable and didn’t charge me at all for a diagnostic visit to my home. He informed me that I needed new toilets and let me know where I could buy the “best value” toilets in town. He also informed me that the city was offering a rebate on those toilets and encouraged me to take advantage of that. After Rick’s installed my new toilets (which was a quick, easy, and professional experience), I was informed by the city that they were no longer offering rebates. When I informed Rick’s Plumbing of this, they happily sent me a check in the amount of the rebate, since the information they had given me was no longer accurate. Also, communication with Rick’s is top notch! Emerson answered the phone right away every time I called and replied to my emails within an hour or two. Highly recommend using Rick’s Plumbing and will use them for all my future needs!

This was the second time I have used this company’s service and both time’s I have been very satisfied with the quality of the work done, as well as the friendliness and competency of the technician. The end result makes me feel very content and safe. I don’t have to worry about my system for another season. I highly recommend this company for both urgent and preventive services.

Rick's was called after another company replaced three parts on the air conditioner and then tried to say it's how the thermostat was being used. Rick's came out and fixed it the first time and, as an out-of-state landlord, he kept me up to date on everything and answered all of my questions. Outstanding work and even better customer service. Definitely give them a call if you need ac work!!!

Jorge did a health check on my A/C unit. I was concerned about unnecessary repairs and cost. Jorge went through my system, ensured everything was working properly, replaced a single part which need to be replaced (I saw the readings on the capacitor and agreed that it needed to be replaced), and charged me a very reasonable amount.

Since I was the owner/builder of my house I know its systems well. Jorge reviewed the vent flow, temperature differential, and overall health of the entire system. He spent about an hour with me and I feel he did an excellent job and thoroughly explained everything he did.

I will have them back in the fall to perform a health check on the furnace.
If the quality of their service is consistent, they will remain my go to plumbing and heating company.

I bought a water softener for my home and needed installed. Rick's Plumbing was very responsive and came to see the set up and give a quote. The quote was very fair. They were very courteous and easy to work with. I would definitely go with Rick's Plumbing and Heating Co again.

The team at Rick's was so incredibly responsive to our urgent plumbing matter. I called and they were there later that day and took care of the issue with no problems. Their field techs are very respectful and present to work with. They called ahead of time and told us when they would be there so there was no surprises. The workers were very professional, fast, and extremely polite and courteous. They paid attention to details and left the area very clean after verifying that everything worked as intended. The price was very reasonable.

2018 jorge found our leak from another plumber . He repaired he was courtesy ontime. Had no other issues since. Now we called on our air conditioner and is giving me a quote per donovan n wes. Very polite courtesy knowledgeable and funny I will continue calling Rick's plumbing for future repairs n installs.

I can’t say enough what a pleasure it is to find a company who gets what customer service means. Although I was provided the wrong number by my warranty company, Edison still took my call, agreed to call the warranty company and help ensure my claim was covered even though his company was not in their network. I live out of town and he gave me comfort that he would get someone out the next day. True to his word, Jorge shows up and not only did he solve the problem, he helped my renters with step by step instructions on how to correct the issue if it happened again. I hate having issues with HVAC, but if anything happens again, Rick’s Heating and Plumbing is first in my list to call. Thank you!!!!

These guys have been great. They’ve helped us a couple times with AC issues and we’ve always been very pleased with their service.

Exceptional work, they spent plenty of time and weren't rushed at all they were very interested in helping us save as much money as possible while getting our heater to work again. They were honest and very down to earth and took the time to explain what they were doing and exactly why they were doing it. Told us exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced and what would still be fine if it were fixed without being replaced. Total price after they were gone and everything was fixed was around $500. We had other people come a few days prior and quote us replacement costs close to $15,000-20,000 due to everything needing to be replaced. We would later find out that we had received a lot of inaccurate and extreme information. Needless to say we needed a second opinion, and Rick's heating and plumbing was the best second opinion we could have got! They were recommended to us by several friends that use them. We will be calling them for all our future heating and plumbing needs.

Rick's Heating and Plumbing does wonderful work for a fair price. I have had them out a few times now; to repair a toilet and to find a leak. Thomas is very friendly, reliable and goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied! It is refreshing to find a company that is honest and reliable.

Rick' went above and beyond what was required to re place our boiler. Extremely competent organization to work with. They are fair and true to their word.

Jorge at Rick's Heating & Plumbing went above and beyond. Originally I had used a different company to service and fix my evaporative cooler. 2 months later I called Rick's to fix my dishwasher because it wasn't getting power. After Jorge fixed it, he asked if there was anything else he could fix. I told him about the evaporative cooler not cooling the house. Jorge was able to give us cold air! He also showed me the belt he replaced that the first company had supposedly replaced. It was extremely cracked and in disrepair. Obviously, the first company had not replaced the belt but I had been charged for it. From now on, I will only call Rick's for everything!

They came right on time and fixed my water heater. They could’ve told me I needed a new water heater, but they are very honest and just replaced the part that went bad at a fraction of what a new water heater would’ve been. I highly recommend Rick’s Heating & Plumbing.

Ricks helped me with a propane to natural gas conversion. I worked with Donovan, Scott and Thomas. With the help of these three professionals the process was painless and efficient. Donovan was intuitive to all our needs and knew what questions we were going to ask before we asked them! Donovan, Scott and Thomas efficiently converted all our appliances quickly. Donovan is attune to customers safety concerns and took the time with us to ensure we are comfortable with the new natural gas service. I recommend Ricks and plan to use Ricks in the future for my plumbing needs.

I needed two new toilets installed and called for an appointment. They were very polite and professional and got me scheduled within just a few days. Toilets were done perfectly and look great. They did everything we discussed and hauled away the old ones. I would not hesitate to use them again for any services they offer.

I found Rick's by way of my sister's neighborhood association group. I needed someone to replace some old toilets in my rental property in Albuquerque. Not only were the prices more reasonable, they were easy to work with! After the toilets, I had Rick's winterize my swamp coolers and they're in the process of doing (long ignored) maintenance on my boiler. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Rick's is awesome and more affordable then I thought since I had somebody else here last year. I know a little about residential AC's to be dangerous but they still explain to me in detail of what was going on. Thanks and will be calling they guys again.

They explained the purchase options better than all the others. Great to talk to and helpful through the process of getting a hot water replaced. I will use them immediately on my next hvac or plumbing needs.

My initial experience with them was fine, but now I can't get a hold of them at all. I've tried calling 10+ times and have left multiple voicemails -- nobody is answering the phone or calling back. Have they gone out of business?

They came and stopped a major water leak. Then returned to upgrade our plumbing so as to not have any additional problems. Highly recommend.

Ricks plumbing and heating is hands-down the best company you will find in Albuquerque. After having four other heating companies come to our house telling us that we needed to buy a new furnace for thousand dollars they came and were quick to diagnose and fix the problem. Definitely worth the money.

Ive never had a better experience with any other plumbing company. I'm a 1st time home buyer and my water heater from '98 was on the verge of bursting and costing me a lot of money and stress. Donovan took the time to make sure I had everything I needed. He even gave me advice about what I need to do with my furnace before winter and additional future upgrades for my water heater if I were to sell. Very reasonable price for a single income household with 2 small kids. His brother (I never got his name) was so nice on the phone and made me feel better about the whole thing. They did an excellent job and I'm going to be recommending them. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong here, but if it does I'll be calling again!

Jorge was excellent, arrived within the time frame, wore a masks the entire time. Very quick and efficient. Work was done in a timely manner. Price was great for the work done.

These guys have integrity, knowledge, and experience. They have done several jobs for us. Our lives are better since they made our A/C quieter and more efficient. Our water heater is working better. Our plumbing and fixtures are improved. Their prices are very reasonable and they let us know what to expect. They are busy year round, so schedule in advance. We will continue to use their service for future conversions into more efficient systems. They did honor their veteran pledge.

This was my first time using this company and I was well pleased with their work. Jorge was dispatched and arrived earlier then I thought and was very professional. Jorge answered all my questions and was very friendly along with doing an awesome job! Because of Jorge and the positive experience I had, I will definitely be calling them again for my heating and plumbing needs along with recommending Rick's Heating and Plumbing.

They came out within 1 hour and fixed the problem as soon as possible. Totally professional. They were clean and didn't leave a mess! Quick and charged a fair price. Gave me suggestions to prevent future issues. Would certainly call them again for plumbing needs.

Great small business. Very responsive and customer friendly! I called the number on the website and they called me back almost immediately. ( the only plumbing company out of 5 that I called that called.) Jorge, came to my house very late in the same day, did not have the part, went to a plumbing store and stayed until 7 to fix my problem. Like I said they went above and beyond! Hopefully I don’t need a plumber again but if I do, Rick’s Plumbing is my go to!

Had some of the fastest service I've ever received for utility issues from this company. We had a problem with an AC unit during a hot time of year and called them. They came out right away, quickly and correctly diagnosed what was wrong, and fixed it at a good cost. We were up and running with cool air again right away. Great company, excellent service, much appreciated!!!

I had a leaking hot water tank for my boiler system. I called Ricks Plumbing to have a plumber diagnose and repair the water tank. I left a message and was called back in a reasonable amount of time. Less than 30 minutes. The gentleman I spoke to was was helpful and made an appointment to have a plumber come out two days later which was the earliest possible. fast forward two days and the plumber calls me between the times they said they would and shows up on time. The plumber was also helpful and appeared to give an honest and legit diagnosis, but states he couldn’t give me a price to complete the work. I was directed to call “Donovan” at the same number I made the appointment on to get a price quote.

As soon as the plumber left my home I called The main number to Ricks Plumbing and I left a message requesting a call back to get repair costs. This was at approximately 2pm on a Thursday. As the end of the business day came closer I still hadn’t heard back from Ricks so I called the plumber, who came to my house, and advised him of the situation. I was told they were very busy making call backs and I would be called ASAP. The following day, Friday, I waited until noon for a call that never came so I left another message for Ricks to call me back. By the end of day on Friday I still had not heard back and left a third message.

Meanwhile my water tank is leaking and Ricks has not cared to even call back to explain the delay. I really was hoping to have a good experience with Ricks as they are veteran and law enforcement friendly and had mostly good reviews. The plumber was friendly but not very helpful in getting this job completed. I’m happy to change this review if Ricks ever comes through, but for now I’ve wasted almost a week on them and my water tank is still leaking. I’ll have to wait through the weekend to find another plumber.

Jorge was not only on time, but a little early, which made me so happy! Very professional! He got right to work and installed my disposal, removed and sealed off my dishwasher and cleaned up BEAUTIFULLY in record time. I heartily recommend Rick's Heating & Plumbing ~ a big thumb's up!!

Thomas from Rick's Plumbing showed up the first time to repair my waterheater. He did not charge for arriving on site. Spent company time to locate the needed part. Since the part wasn't available in town, he helped me order the needed part. But the replacement part didn't solve the problem. Ended up replacing the old water heater with the professional version of Rheem product line. I did verify the quality and checked the replacement and installation costs with various plumbers. Didn't find anyone to do the job better, faster and cheaper than Rick's Plumbing. The installation passed city inspection without any hitch. I highly recommend Rick's Plumming and will do business with them again.

2 days later the fire was still suddenly going out yet releasing gas.i sent 3 emails and left 3 messages with no response.

This company installed a water softener for me. Additionally, they fixed a leak that they found while they were installing it. This is the most professional and courteous plumbing service I have ever worked with. As such, they will be my go to plumber for as long as I am in the city. I will also be using them for routine air conditioner and heating checks. I highly recommend them.

Here’s how you know the company is awesome... I have referred them to 10 of my closest friends without a worry. All my friends have been so happy and are starting to also refer them. That is a rare thing these days.

Many times when I call for a repair man or routine maintenance I get nervous. You never know what the price is going to be or what they are going to find. I did not have that nervousness with Rick’s. The technicians clearly were candid and honest and explained exactly what they were doing to maintain my a/c. I learned so much from them. If I recall correctly their names were Rick and Thomas. I will be calling Ricks Heating every year for my routine maintenance. I am fully confident I am being given great service at a great price.

There are additional reasons I am giving Rick's one star however I am limited with how much I can write so I will detail the main reason I am giving them one star. From some other repairs repairs it was discovered that a pressure reducing valve (PRV) was needed to be installed to prevent the T&P valve on the hot water heater from being tripped (they had to replace the T&P valve at $30 a pop three times before they figured that out, we weren’t paying for that part of it or we would’ve had more of an issue with it sooner).
After they finished installing the PRV there was SEVERE water hammer coming from the valve. After he left I went into the utility closet to inspect the work and found that the valve was leaking. The individual who installed returned and told me it must be a bad valve and that they needed to buy and install another one. So they did that and installed a new valve and still there was SEVERE water hammer coming from the valve. At this point Rick (who I assume is the owner) came out with the individual who installed it and they came to the conclusion that it was another bad valve (very unlikely, and at this point I was highly skeptical but since they were not charging us I allowed them to proceed). So they went out and purchased another (different) PRV and returned to install it a third time. This time Donovan came out with the original two guys and they installed it. After this there was still SEVERE water hammer. They spent at least two hours at our house trying to figure out why this was happening, and at the end Donovan’s conclusion was that there was air in our lines from the city or other plumbing issues that they would need to investigate and fix, and that we should wait a week or two and see if it would just go away…
We then went out of town for a week and upon returning we hired another plumber to take a look to get a second opinion. Our realtor shared with Donovan that we were getting a second opinion because we had ongoing concerns with the work they had done and the severe water hammer, and that based on research I did we thought that the PRV may have been installed backwards. His response was that we had trust issues for hiring someone else and that there was nothing more he could do for us. Within 5 minutes of being at our house the second plumber determined that the PRV had been installed BACKWARDS. To be sure we hired a third plumber to take a look. He also determined that the valve was installed backwards, with the arrow clearly pointing the wrong way... Within 15 minutes he had turned the valve the other way and tightened a leaking joint he found where the expansion tank had been installed by Rick’s. Upon turning the water back on the water hammer went away completely.
Since fixing the issue our realtor has reached out to Donovan to inform him that the valve had been installed backwards. Rick’s plumbing should have refunded us the money to hire another plumber to fix their poor work. Rick’s plumbing has not responded to any calls, and Donovan will not answer the phone. We also now have some pipes that are knocking in the wall when the water is turned on and off that I will have to fix, and it is my belief that the water hammer loosened them.
My advice is to steer clear of this company entirely. They lack basic knowledge related to their work (i.e installing a valve backwards) and do not take ownership when they are clearly at fault. They do not even clean up after themselves after they complete work which is a bad sign in and of itself. We will never have Rick's perform work for us again. If you are looking for a good plumber I recommend Plumbing Express. They fixed the PRV issue and have done some other work with us since. They are fast, friendly, professional, quality, and fair.

I would of put 0 stars if possible. RICK'S heating and Plumbing installed a hot water heater in my property 8 months ago. The HWH is now leaking and I've reached out to Rick's multiple times now with no response at all. After paying just under 2k for the service I would of thought they would atleast honor the warranty. I would never suggest using this over charging under performing so called business

I called and left a message on a Saturday to ask for an estimate to do some plumbing work at a house I just purchased. I got a call from one of Ricks Plumbing guys Emerson on a Sunday. He told me he had just come in to check messages and saw that I had called. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone for the work requested and sent a professional young man named David out the next day to do the work. David was very knowledgeable and his work was impeccable. I don't normally leave ratings but these guys are good at what they do and I recommend them to anyone in need of reasonably priced plumbing. I will be using them again to finish another project in the near future. A++ rating

Donavaughn has the absolute worst customer service attitude once he has your money! He assured me he would file the rebate paperwork but didn't, then had the nerve to tell the utility company that I hadn't paid! He must have been confused! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They wouldn't return phone calls then blocked my number!

We have always been 100% satisfied with all of the work they've done for us from season to season throughout several years. Also, their response time, friendliness, and pricing is amazing! Great employees too!

Rick's was sent out to us by a Home Warranty Co. Which our Landlord uses.In the beginning it was difficult due to the people we were communicating with and what was actually being relayed to Rick's. That was very frustrating. Once Emerson starting looking into it, it starting coming together. It was a long process but once everyone was on the same page, I realized how far the truth or nessicity was being streched between the landlord, Home Warranty Co and what was being paid for. Once Rick's got the monies needed, their service was impeccable. I highly recommend Rick's and a stiff drink for the rest.

I am very pleased with the service, quality and professionalism of Rick's. They were on time, very friendly and pleasant to have in and around our home and were very knowledgeable. We got a new AC combination unit with Smart thermostat installed. They were very conscientious about their work and made sure that we understood what they were doing and how to use our new system. We cannot say enough good things about Rick's!

I first hired Ricks to install a pump so that the hot water will get across the house to the shower and not take five minutes doing it. I also subscribe to their maintenance plan and they have been out to install a new hot water heater and now do my HVAC maintenance. All the employees have been very helpful and friendly. I will be sticking with them.

All were respectful and complied with Covid protocol. Response was quick and installation went smooth. Although the cost was more than I expected, they will provide no cost future maintenance. I will contact Rick’s Plumbing for future boiler replacement.

Just awful. They were supposed to come by yesterday at 8 AM. I saw their van pull in my drive way at 8:05. I put on my mask and waited for the tech to come to the door. I was checking email & my computer is next to a window that I can see the walk to the front door. Guy didn't come to the door but I assumed he was getting tools together. After about 5 minutes I was just about to go out & see what was taking so long and just as I got out of my chair I saw him back out and drive off. Never came to the door, never rang bell, nothing. I called their office (they NEVER answer and rarely call back) and left a message asking what's going on. No call back, nothing. About 2 hrs later guy calls my cell, I'm here, no one's home. What, I'm supposed to sit here all day waiting for them? We had an appointment. Anyway about 3 PM I called again and left a message asking someone to call & tell me why their tech blew me off. 24 hrs later still nothing. Never heard from them. Luckily it wasn't an emergency repair but even so not a good way to treat customers. That's how you turn them into former customers. I recommend calling someone else.

Our hot water heater burst day after New Year. Contacted Rick's plumbing and heating and were out first thing the next morning with new water heater and installed. Rick's Plumbing and Heating you guys are amazing. I am a customer for life.

I am impressed with Ricks. I had a large leak from my air conditioner. Called other plumbers not one would come out for 3-4 weeks. I found Ricks-same day service. I had to turn off my air to stop leak. When Ricks found out I had no air the came out and fixed it enough I could use it. Waiting for a time they could fix all the issues, the next day. They are concerned about customers. Very professional and polite. Went through everything that was a problem and how they would take care of it. Ricks Will be my forever plumbing company.

Satisfied with the service I received today. Plumber was on time and quickly provided the service. Already scheduled another appointment to have them fix my kitchen sink fix the garbage disposal and the pipes under sink. He was professional had a mask on for protection at all times. Its good finding people that you feel will not try to screw you over I will be using them again and and again. I will recommend them to friends and family. I have to say the positive reviews about Rick's are spot on. they finished installing a new tankless water heater for us recently, and can say without hesitation they're honest, hard working and do quality work.
- They came out initially and were able to give us a quote the same day, and throughout the install they stuck to it.
- They didn't try to up sell me on any of the tankless addons that I brought up with them. They were honest about what they felt was and was not worth the additional cost.
- they pointed out a venting change that would be needed to ensure we met code and passed inspection, that none of the other companies we got estimates from brought up.
- they discussed options with us regarding things like the condensation drain, so we had some say in some of the required modifications.
- there were usually at least two people here, for almost two solid days, working hard the entire time to get the install done right.
- they were very professional, but friendly
- they were always on time and gave us regular updates.
- Since we have a very high risk child, they wore masks while here, and were even concerned enough to ask that our son was upstairs before coming in each day.
- they followed up with us soon after to make sure everything was working well and to get us paper work for our rebate.
- the quality of the work they did looks great and we are incredibly happy with our new tankless system.

I honestly just can't say enough positive things about them. everyone from the folks that were doing the work onsite to the folks in their office that helped setup the appointments and take care of payment, were just awesome. we'll be using them going forward with maintenance and any other future issues we have.

So, long story made short. After Rick's did several smaller jobs for us, we had them install a Seeley Breezair (what a difference!). I end up in the hospital and my wife calls TLC for a swamp cooler startup. TLC comes and leaves but doesn't put the sides on correctly. I call them back and they claim that the install was wrong and that the sides couldn't be closed because the pan had warped. Note that the cooler was working fine.

I called Rick's on June 29th and Emerson had the guys out the day after July 4th, which was great given short notice and a long holiday weekend. They showed up early, went up on the roof, and came back down with video showing how easy it is to take the sides off and put them back on.

I'm not sure what was up with TLC but thank you to the Rick's team for being so responsive and saving me a lot of $$.

They were able to come the next day. Very polite and through.

My brother has used Rick's Heating and Plumbing a couple of times for various fixes and has been very pleased with work. Based upon his recommendation, we used them to replace a turn off value for our bathroom sink. Despite the very tight space in which they had to work, as well as a couple of unforeseen issues that popped up, Wes and Matt did a wonderful job ! And, Wes kindly swapped out the cartridge in my leaky faucet. Both Wes and Matt were both very respectful and courteous! We would definitely use Rick's Heating and Plumbing again and highly recommend them! It is really refreshing when you receive good service!! Thanks again to Wes and Matt!!

I've been using Rick's Plumbing and Heating for a few years now. Totally professional, trustworthy, and responsive! Team is always so nice and a joy to work with. They are my go-to guys!

Short reason: Serious issues with communication. Never responded to voicemails and all requests to call back.

I had the misfortune of interacting with Rick's as the home warranty company that came with my new home use them as default contractors. In spite of the fact I was planning on using them to upgrade the existing heating and cooling system (to AC from evap) which they were aware of, they suddenly became completely unresponsive to all phone calls and voicemails.

No one answered at the company line over 3 weeks of calling approx 4x per week, and no one called back after leaving detailed voicemails each time over that time period. I have a newborn child and our issue was a broken furnace, I informed them of this and still, there was no contact. It required escalation with the home warranty company who eventually had to leave an ultimatum with the company (service this or you will no longer be a contractor with us) when finally Rick the supposed owner, emailed me asking if they could show up in a day to do the work. When I responded via email that yes they could, there was no confirmation they would arrive, let alone an apology.

While the worker who did arrive did his job properly , I cannot recommend enough against EVER doing business with Rick's. The blatant unprofessionalism in screening their calls (as another review insinuates and I confirm) and not responding to calls for service is atrocious. Stay far away from this trash contractor.

Contacted Rick's on Tuesday evening, said plumber would be there on Thursday morning. Plumber called at 745am letting us know he would he there are 8am. 8am the door bell rang. Extremely helpful and professional. Fixed issue with our HVAC unit and leak under sink. While fixing leak, noticed 2nd leak and stayed to help repair as well. Cleaned up when done. Extremely satisfied with both work orders.

Wow. Just WOW. Seriously amazing service. Talk about professional and going above and beyond! We were blown away. These guys were professional and personable. They even invited my 8 year old to help them fix the AC. They taught him all about the tools and let him do some of the work. He was eating it up! They also gave me some DIY tips for when the next part breaks (they could hear the other motor was getting old and they knew we wanted to try and fix it ourselves). They were honest and strait forward. The cost was the best in town as well. We’ll never use anyone else for our plumbing, heating or cooling needs.

Ricks plumbing is the reason our move in is being postponed. Its 86 degrees outside, 94 degrees inside our twonhome and there is not a functioning ac/swamp cooler. Aim properties said they have called multiple times and he is not returning calls or answering since this morning (3 hrs ago) thanks rick, my girlfriend has high blood pressure and because we cant get ahold of you for a damn thing, she has to worry about heat exhaustion. Great job rick. Uses a google number instead of a regular landline so that he can avoid calls it seems.

My old refrigerated unit was top of the line when it was installed by another company, but had been dying for years. Rick's was the 3rd HVAC company I called during a hot June. The first two started a hard sell to replace even before inspecting my old unit, basically from the front porch. I later found the hasty inspections and misdiagnosed repairs did little.

Rick's was referred to me by a relative very happy with his conversion from swamp to AC. They impressed from the start with a thorough review of the old unit including what could be saved and giving good, better, best options. If I had said to save the old unit they would have kept it patched together for another year or two. I ultimately decided to go with a new unit, again with Rick's providing good better best options, all reasonable, letting me decide based on budget. I went with their recommended York unit.

When their supplier let them down, Rick's more than made this right with several solutions that had to have been costly to them. They stayed firm to our original and reasonable agreement. Installers were courteous, Covid safe, and extraordinarily willing to explain in as much detail as my geeky mind could handle.

After the sale and successful install, Rick's contacted and let me know about some rebates they became aware of, saving me $hundreds.

HVAC work isn't cheap. The knowledgeable workers deserve fair pay and quality units cost money. Rick's stood out as an excellent VALUE. I am sitting here cool on a near 100 degree day, very happy with our transaction.

I put up an ad on thumbtack needing a hot water heater replaced with some upgrades to piping. Rick's exceeded my expectations! Carlisle and another man came quickly out and assessed exactly what i needed and gave very great advice. I ended up hiring them for the job. Everything was up to code and inspected!! I am very pleased with my decision!! Water heater works great and haven't had any problems!!

Emerson was very professional and knowledgeable. He even suggested that it might be the pnm box and had us turn it off before the service tech arrived to help save some money

If I could give them a higher than 5 star rating, I would. Both my swamp cooler and furnace died at about the same time and on top of that my water heater was on its last legs. I spoke with several companies, including The Home Depot and Lowes prior to speaking with Rick's Plumbing. The prices from the various companies varied, with The Home Depot and Lowes being by far the most expensive.

What set Rick's Plumbing apart is:
- They were the least expensive, yet installed high quality equipment. Three of the companies i spoke with gave me quotes more than twice the amount Rick's Plumbing quoted me. One even said they had to hire a crane! (I have a two-story house).
- They answered all my questions and concerns quickly.
- They did not try to sell me stuff I did not need. They were open and upfront about all the pros and cons of the various options and approaches to the installation of the units to our particular house. (We were switching from swamp cooler to an air conditioner).
- I knew exactly what I was buying and what they were going to do prior to signing anything.
- They were all very friendly.

It's hard to find enough good things to say about Rick's Plumbing. They are prompt, professional, very good at what they do and are competitive with their pricing. In addition they remember who you are. Recently our evaporative cooler quit working, when they returned my call they said Mr Capps, you are a good customer, we will work you into the schedule and get you up and running today and they did! As busy as they are, that was awesome!

Service person (Thomas) arrived on time and carefully analyzed my swamp cooler problem. He then fixed it, putting the unit back in operation just in time for the hot end of June. He was methodical and did not hurry just to get the job done. Good show!

Very happy with their service. I went with them because their sales person offered some great advice without expecting that I give them business in return. I respected that and went with them for our install. They were clean and went the extra mile to get the job done.

We hired this company to fix an issue with our furnace blower. It seemed to be working alright for about a day after which the blower would not go on at all.
The receipt for the 'work' included several checkbox that were checked off including clean and replace air filter and lubricate motor and inspect and replace fan belt. When we had someone else come fix our furnace they were able to plainly show me that our filter was filthy and our blower motor had not been serviced.

I honestly can't say enough good about these guys. No one wants to call a plumber, but when you have to you want someone you can trust. Rick's Heating & Plumbing Co were very honest, straightforward and friendly during the entire process. I was given options, a direct quote and after I decided (in which prices were very straight forward on what was being done and charged), they took tons of extra steps during the job to ensure I was familiar with the system they installed. When everything was complete I asked what I owed since basically every other service I've ever dealt with nickels and dimes the price up another couple hundred, but not them. The quoted price was the final price. Stop your search here and give them a call, you won't regret it.
