The entire experience of my furnace install was great. From Randy as the initial salesman, to Emmanuel and Paul who did the install itself. They were courteous and pleasant, but more importantly, thorough and did not rush the job. They ended up staying late the first day to get the heat on and back in first thing the next to finish the job that involved complicated ductwork. Managers also stopped by several times to check that everything was coming along smoothly. Scheduling was easy and they accommodated my schedule without any problems.

The woman who called to set up an appointment sounded like she was 12 years old and reading a script, so fake and canned. Then she was rude enough to ask when my spouse and I would be available for an appointment. When did being married come into the equation.? I think that's rude to assume someone's marital status. WFT?

I ordered home solar in October of 2016. Let me start out by saying the customer service has been great, Dan was always very cordial and available to talk to about issues and questions. However, the reason I am giving 2 stars, or about a C grade, is the time it took from ordering the panels to getting them to produce electricity was twice as long as I was initially told it would be. I just looked at my quote I received 9/2016 and it stated 3 months for the process, when in reality it took 6 months. I had to pay 50$ of interest for my loan before the panels were turned on, not a lot of money, just a minor agitation. If I could do it again I would go through Affordable solar as they gave some of my coworkers a slightly lower price and had them up in running in about 3 months. Hopefully if you go with them they will get you up and running quicker than they did for me, besides that my experience with them was OK. Thanks for reading.

Robert and Israel installed two hot water heaters for us in June. Both gentleman were professional and we are very satisfied with the install. We were concerned with an install due to COVID, but the guys went about their job quickly and efficiently.

Had a furnace and ducting installed through Costco.

The dimensions they gave to build out the space for the furnace were for a different furnace than the one we ordered. After a lot of phone calls and arguments, they finally gave us the more expensive furnace that fit in the space for the price of the less efficient one.

The workmen that came the house daily for two weeks complained constantly that they weren't getting paid enough, it was too hot, etc. Manny was in charge, and see from other posters that he still works there. They left huge gaps around the registers in each room. We had to sweep up the drywall dust ourselves.

The deal through Costco is good, but the delivery of service is classic New Mexican: oh mijo it's so hard! They had the nerve to keep calling me to install AC; I had AC installed, but not through them!

i bought a new toilet from Home Depot and i had MCS install it. Robert came out and install it. he was very professional and he put the old toilet in the same box that new toilet came in so i can have the park throw it away.
he made sure everything worked.

Luiz came to install a water heater for me in Chimayo, he is a true professional, quality work from a expert. Knowledgeable and helpful! Gotta give credit to Alex the electrician.

Worst customer service possible. Same as many others. Was at Costco. Signed up to have service completed. I called in mid April and asked if they could not respond by May 14 to let me know and I would use another company. 4 hours after being told I would be the first appointment I called them to find out they canceled my appointment. Trying to be nice I let them talk me into a make up appointment saying I would be their first appointment on Monday. But that they had briefing at 0700-0800 and all it would take is travel time to get to my home. At 0900 I called. I had worked 14 hours just before this appointment and said if they could not get here by 1000 not to come at all ever. Lady said he would be here before 1000. 9:36 their tech Daniel called to say he was 40 minutes out. Don’t waste your time. I canceled and I plan to speak to Costco to drop this company from their stores. I will find someone who wants to work with me. Thank you MCS for wasting my time and efforts. I should have called someone else.

I recently had a brand new unit installed. The journeyman completing the work told me the unit would be installed identically to the previous A/C. Instead, new holes were drilled into my house without permission and the line was ran in a completely inconvenient place where it could easily be tripped over on our roof. The unit also started leaking a significant amount of water INTO my house. A part had to be ordered overnight and when it didn't show up I had to call myself to check on the status. The part was delayed and I was told to shut off my brand new $9,000 A/C for 3 days until the part came in. Then, after notifying the salesman (David) he suggested that we had gone up onto our roof, opened the A/C unit, and broken the ridiculously hard plastic piece ourselves. WORST SERVICE EVER!

MCS is a good company with excellent service and response. We recently had two hot water heaters put in and Jason was both professional and a excellent worker. He went above and beyond to get the job done. I highly recommend MCS.

My Service Tech was Jason. He was on time and did a thorough job cleaning and servicing my A/C. I mentioned to him that the snap-on plastic cover on my refrigerant lines duct would occasionally fall off when the wind blew hard. He installed screws so it wouldn't happen again. Thanks MCS.

Very professional installation of my replacement Mastercool. All attachments to the ceiling where covered to avoid water seepage. They also installed a drainage line so I don’t have to use a hose. All items were secured since we are in a high gust wind area. Installers were Luis, Jose, electrician Preston and quality reassurance Jeremy. Would highly recommend. Don’t want to forget the ladies on the phone scheduling the job, very nice and a pleasure to deal with the phone schedulers. Also want to mention the estimator Jeffrey very professional and courteous. Answered every question to my satisfaction.

The service was very professional and friendly. I was very satisfied and comfortable with David and Noah who did a great timely and economic job. I would highly recommend them. I feel I really lucked out.

Diego came to do my service call. He found the problem and was able to fix it. He explained everything to me along the way. Diego was a very courteous and respectful young man.
Customer service from the office could have been better. They do not call back when they say they will. But the customer service provided by Diego made up for the office customer service.

Home Depot and MCS have made my AC/furnace installation experience less stressful. Miguel and Jose, the technicians were very fast and efficient. They did the complete install is in under 4 hours. The Electrician was also very friendly & knowledgeable. Curtis the sales manager was incredible at making the suggestions for my AC & furnace installation and he wasn't pushy at all, no pressure. Overall, MCS through Home Depot saved me $2000 from the competition. They even hauled off my old swamp cooler and capped it on the roof. They also gave me input on suggestions of where to put my AC unit for the best efficiency. Overall; it's a very a new install, I have not had any issues yet. Time will tell, there is a 15 year warranty to the compressor. I'm hoping the AC and furnace last a long time as it's quite an investment. Hopefully if any issues develop MCS is as good at warranty and customer service.

Had this company install a unit for $19,000. I’ve gone through 4 thermostats and over a dozen service calls. First year they called to set up preventative maintenance after that they never called. Worst company to deal with and horrible customer service. Thank you for nothing COSTCO find a new vendor for your HVAC member packages.

concerns and problems with the units we have purchased from this establishment. He is kind, soft spoken, understanding, respectful, and many more attributes.
He had done research, call the rep over and over to get the correct information in order to fix the issues since the beginning with the tankless water heater. We have had problem after problem, but he has been the only person to work for months to get each issue resolved. He has done extensive evaluations to ensure our product is functioning properly and not flooding the area.
I can not say enough wonderful things about this gentleman.

My elderly grandmother had to have a water heater replaced recently. The professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, and respect that your staff and technician showed was amazing. Our technician Aaron was on time, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable during the entire install. We will be using mcs going forward!!!

We are completely happy with the service and personal attention from Randy Brooks and his crew. They were efficient, courteous and did an extremely thorough job.

Jeremy and Kenneth showed up on time, were very professional, made sure they had the correct equipment and got right to work. It took them a day and a half but they were doing work in an old house so they had to get some things from scratch. Preston the electrician was also very professional and it only took him a few minutes to complete his part. I have had work done with MCS before and they haven't disappointed yet. I will be using them again in the future.

Jesus Hdez was courteous, his work and work ethic is above reproach. Folded cooler cover and cleaned up after finishing. Would definitely recommend him and MCS.

My $10,000+ system was installed June 23, 2016. I had to call for repairs within the first month. The cooling system is not working AGAIN.
Apparently, the system was supposed to be inspected by the city shortly after installation. For the first 3 months, I called the company about it, but nothing ever happened. We had to have a major repair done on the system recently. The repairs were completed, after 3 different service calls, the last one by the tech supervisor. He asked about the inspection and I said it was never done. Within a week, the city inspector was here and lo and behold, it failed.
MCS was supposed to be here to fix it yesterday and they were a no show. I called this am. Supposedly, a service tech will be here but want to charge me $120 to do the frigging work the inspector demands. No AC again. I'm pissed.
DO NOT USE MCS FOR ANYTHING!!

We were approached by this company because they were selling Lennox heating and air conditioning units at Costco in Albuquerque, NM. We thought Lennox was a reputable company so we entertained a visit by a very friendly young salesman who sold us on a completely new system for our old home as well as two splits for previously unheated or air conditioned rooms. The install seemed to go okay. We had to have them return a couple of times for some furnace issues, and they claimed other workmen in the home had affected the system, which was not the case. One of the splits worked fine, the other was a lemon from the get-go and they just stalled fixing it properly until they could claim the 1 year warranty was up and it wasn't their responsibility. The office manager, and customer service people are so incredibly rude. I don't normally post reviews, but in good conscience, I feel that people should be warned. We live in Santa Fe, NM and we found a wonderful company here locally that we sure wish we would have chosen from the beginning... Glorieta, nice family run business with honest people. They fixed the lemon split in two hours. Save yourself from frustration and look somewhere else.

Excellent Service, got hooked up with MSC through Home Depot, they came right out to the new home that we were building, Carson the sales person gave us an excellent quote that beat everybody else's quote with a great heating and AC system, Lennox that we love. Jennifer talked with us and gave us great service in getting the system installed by an excellent installer named David who did a GREAT install, thank you MCS.

Jeremy and Jeff were great. They got two water heaters installed for me the same day I called. They answered all questions that we asked and were friendly and efficient.

Called when our water heater started going out. They quoted a price and scheduled it for first thing Monday morning. Robert Trevino was our installer, very polite and courteous. Made sure all was up to code and tested before he left.

We were on the brink of having a mess with our water heater. We purchased at Home Depot who contracts with MCS, I received a call within 30min of getting them my info. I worked with David Ramos who was quick , efficient and got me a price right over the phone. They were able to get me in the following day. My mistake in purchasing a 50gl instead of a 75gal and Robert our service plumber brought it to install. He was so nice he toot it back, let me purchase the correct one, returned to my house to measure if new one would fit and returned the next day with the correct one. I found him to be very trustworthy, we left our garage unlocked for him to complete the job while we were at work. I would highly recommend him, very strong christian who wants to make sure the customer is satisfied. They did add additional fees due to larger tank and needing a second person so not sure if they are comparable in cost to others.

Unprofessional the GM is a joke, the mangers are unprofessional as well. Worst HVAC company in Albuquerque please spend your hard earned money else where. Its obvious that the owner thibks his customers are irrelevant, upon a request to speak to him I was denied by the GM...

A/C & furnace install on Feb 14th. MCS installers and quality of work/equipment excellent, however they did not follow through making sure my Costco cash card and utility rebates were processed (part of contract). I had to bug service rep Derek repeatedly through text and phone calls (excuses every time, Out of town, I'm sick, I'll tell the secretary, I'll hand-deliver the forms to you myself, all of which NEVER happened) to get MCS to do this (7 weeks later), which I shouldn't have had to do. Very frustrating considering these were factors that helped me decide to choose MCS since I had cheaper bids on my furnace/AC install. Complained last time on March 28 asking for status of rebate forms for NM Gas Co and Costco card, finally got rebate forms, but called Costco today on April 6 only to find out MCS didn't file the job with Costco until March 28th. System was installed on Feb 14th! So basically, MCS and Derek lied to me saying they had processed the Costco paperwork needed for me to receive my cash card. Derek also didn’t set up the pre-work appointment with his installers before the day of the job which led to unexpected work needing to be done by the installers (installers did a great job adapting). Again, the installers were very thorough, and the equipment is high quality, but the customer service provided by Derek was not satisfactory at all for a purchase this large!

Received a quote for installation of a tankless hot water heater. The quote was $4000 to $8000 which is much higher than median installation costs for this item. The person who called was also under the impression that a 1” gas line would need to be run in order to complete the installation and was a little impatient with me when I suggested that I could check the size of available gas lines in that location of my home while he was on the phone with me. Even if a new gas line needed to be run, the price quoted seems pretty excessive. The lower limit of that estimate ($4000) is on the higher end of national average cost including the cost of a new gas line. Additionally, after a lot of research and reading of installation manuals today, it appears that the person may be wrong about the need for a new gas line. A 3/4 inch line is recommended for the tankless water heaters that I was considering. It didn’t seem very thorough and it wasn’t what I was expecting from the free “quote” this company offers through Home Depot.

Don't give them your phone number, especially if they're peddling for business at Costco. They NEVER stop calling. I finally had to block them through my cell phone provider.

I have been unable to obtain a work proposal from MCS! Phone calls, texts, and emails for five weeks! What I did get was written on the back of a business card!
I thought the price was reasonable but I really needed to see what I was getting for my $10000! I guess I'll never know the quality of their work. They must not need the work.

Absolute rip off!!! I found these guys at costco, and we needed a new AC unit anyways, so I agreed to have a salesperson come out and show us what they had to offer. He ended up selling us a $5700 SWAMP COOLER! He told me that it was some amazing new technology. They installed it 05/2014. Within the first month a part broke and it took them 2 weeks to get it fixed. Now it is 4/2015, and they owed me a free tune up. They came out and told me that the water line broke and a valve broke(that we now have to pay for), and now my warranty is void because I didn't have them winterize it. Don't waste your time or money with these people.

First, I did not seek MCS to install my air conditioner, MCS was recommended by Home Depot at the time I purchased a new air conditioner unit. I was contacted by MCS and scheduled the installation for the following week. I was told the installation time was between 3-5pm, however, the installers called me at 6:45pm and stated that they were still needing to pick up my air conditioner and materials from Home Depot, they showed up at 7:15pm… 4 hours and 15 minutes late! Only for them to tell me that they would not be able to install my air conditioner because the flashing needed to be replaced but they did not have the materials to do so until the next day. Plus, they wanted to charge me an additional $550.00 to do so. I was left without an air conditioner when temperatures were in the 100’s with two small children in my house until the next day. Once the installation was done, the installers left my old air conditioner unit, all the cardboard boxes, hoses, the old flashing, and other trash in my back yard. The following day, which was a Friday, I spoke with the installation manager, who assured me the trash would be picked up either Saturday or Monday morning, it was not. The trash is still in my back yard on the following Wednesday. This same installation manager was supposed to schedule the inspection for a specific day, that was not done either. So, because of MCS and their lack of communication in their scheduling department, customer service, and managers, I have now missed 3 days of work in order to be home for their services to be completed (half-assed, might I add). And, I have to miss a 4th day of work for the inspectors to be scheduled (again) to inspect the unit (I will not be surprised if it fails inspection).
I have never dealt with such rude, irresponsible, and unprofessional people in my life. From the installers being rude and having no concept of time, the supervisors and managers not taking responsibility for their errors in scheduling or the behavior of their employees (but had the audacity to ask that I give the company a good review in exchange for the installers to replace the flashing, which is part of their job). To the General Manager, Sandy Adams, (whom I spoke with about all the issues I encountered) brushing it off as if this horrible experience was no big deal. Sure, I was offered a year of service, but honestly, I want nothing more to do with this company and will not allow another MCS employee on my property again.
I only wished I would have read the MCS’ reviews prior to allowing them to schedule the install of my air conditioner because I would have never given them my business, considering all the negative feedback their other customers have experienced.
Would never recommend anyone use MCS for any installations, repairs, or services!

Jeremy, Kenneth and Alex did the insulation of my new a/c unit and furnace a month ago and everything was great! All three were professional, considerate (especially with my kids being home) and did a great job!

Miguel did an outstanding job installing our new tankless hot water heater. He patiently and clearly answered our many questions and explained each step in the detail we requested. He did a much more professional job than the person that installed our previous hot water heater. He and Jesus were very pleasant to deal with and they left the workspace very clean both days that they were here.

Miguel and Daniel (HVAC) and Alex (electrician) just finished removing my old swamp cooler and inefficient heater and installing an efficient heater and real air conditioner (yaaay!!).

Aaron a technician came to my rental twice to work on my swamp cooler. Very pleasant and knowledgeable throughout both visits. Aaron went above and beyond especially the second visit after a lizard about jump up my leg, he was able to catch a release the little guy outside. Very helpful!!!

We had a new AC unit installed a year ago. The installers left huge holes in the floor that I had to fill. The system return air ducts were never sealed properly (I finally had to do it myself), and there has always been a stale smell to the air system. What's worse, sometimes the AC system just fails to work. This is a Costco recommended installer, if you can believe it. It cost a small fortune and has been a failure. Right now I'm sitting in a 85-degree house and the AC doesn't work!

Water heater started leaking Wednesday afternoon. Called around and most places couldn't send anyone until the end of May. MCS was able get someone out Thursday morning, went over everything and was able to install my new water heater Friday morning. Robert T. and David R. did an excellent job! I almost canceled our appointment while I was making it in Costco. The person in the store (very nice & helpful) called the office to schedule. The person in the office had music turned up so loud the she couldn't hear us. Though we got her to turn it off, we still had to repeat all my information twice. When they called to confirm my appointment, they couldn't give any better than a 4 hour window for arrival. On the day of the appointment, I waited around 2.5 hours before being they called to say they were not coming after all. I declined the offer to reschedule.

While at searching for a replacement Toilet at Home Depot we were greeted by Bill with a big smile and friendly invitation to talk about installations. Bill went above and beyond to help us out after noticing that we were becoming impatient waiting for a Home Depot representative. He even offered to help load the Toilet on our cart. Thanks Bill for helping and for going out of your way to help those in need.

I would like to Thank Robert T for an outstanding job with the installation of our new Toilet. One of my main concerns was the Toilet installation in our second floor restroom, however after watching Robert and seeing how focused and attentive he is to his job I realized he is the professional I wanted for the installation. A very negative experience.

I purchased a hot water heater and furnace through Costco and think I received a fair deal, especially with financing at a low APR. MCS was very thorough, showed up on time and cleaned up after installation. So far everything is working well.

David installed my water heater by himself in about 4 hours. Was told they would be here at 1pm. They were right on time. They also picked up the water heater from home depot.

Terrible customer service. Cancelled TWO appointments with us due to issues beyond our control. On the third appointment I called them 10 min after the scheduled time and was told the service tech had a blowout in Socorro and would be at my house in an hour and a half.

They never came and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Jason was my service tech for my AV maintenance. He was professional and knowledgeable. I had asked about pad replacement, size and care for my unit. Jason cleaned all the pads, gave me my pad sizes and let me know they did not need replacing this year. MCS installed my water heater, heater and AC unit about 4 years ago. I have a maintenance plan with them, best thing ever! All of the service tech's are wonderful but, I truly appreciated Jason taking the time to answer my questions.

The worst customer service I have ever received do not use these guys.

Purchased an almost 14,000 unit at my age it took me my entire life to finally get refrigerated air the experience with the install was wonderful they did everything quickly efficiently and we're very polite. Although it is 8 days later and I still have a trench in my yard I have a small granddaughter and animals I just tried to call to get some answers and instead of giving me the answers they got Miffy with me and the sales rep who sold me the unit call the office and told the office to call me and asked me to stop calling. Okay young man I've called three times you could have at least given me a telephone number to where I needed to call that's all this old people need. With the amount of money I spent and the fact that I've got a broken foot and a small granddaughter and animals and has been eight days I don't think calling three times in eight days is a big deal. Just to let you know young man I'm going with a different company for my daughter's air conditioner I wanted the same exact unit that I purchased. I do hope you rethink the attitude and interactions you take with the customers after you've taken their money as well as before.

The worst HVAC company I have ever dealt with. Super unprofessional, rude, and spiteful. I was close to getting a lawyer involved. I hired them to install a new furnace and AC unit to replace the older furnace and swamp cooler. After install we turned on the system to find it was extremely loud. It sounded like a jet engine firing up! They came back and said that the return duct was smaller than they thought and this system wouldn't work and we now have to reduct the entire house for a much higher price. I said no thats not what i agreed to and they gave me my money back and pulled the faulty system from my house leaving me with no heat in the middle of December. They even cut the original thermostat and electrical wires and pushed them back into the wall so i had to run entirely new cables and electrical. Only reason to cut those cables was to make it more difficult for the next company to install. Later I found out the gas line that was installed wasn't even up to code! I hired another company, Signature heating, they came in and fixed all the wiring, plumbing and ducting that MCS damaged and put in a proper sized quiet furnace with no problem. DON'T HIRE MCS!

I was contracted with this company thru Home Depot. I received a call from them right away to schedule an appointment and was able to schedule a day that worked for me. Jason was sent out to look at my refrigerated cooling system that quit working. He diagnosed and repaired it in less than 15 minutes. He cleaned it up and showed me how to keep it clean. He also showed me how to change out the filters in my furnace and showed me which ones to buy on Amazon, this was not part of my appointment. Jason was super helpful, great demeanor and genuinely wanted to help. I was really happy with my experience and will definitely use their service again. Thank you Jason!!

MCS – Mechanical Control Solutions is outstanding!!

Both Mr. Robert Trevino, plumber, and the GM, Mr. Ian MacKellar, went the extra mile to correct a bad situation with our defective Rheem hot water heater. These two professionals worked late Friday night, coordinating with Rheem customer service (CS) to obtain a new replacement hot water heater. Initially, Rheem CS was unwilling to provide us with a new water heater. After much discussion, Rheem relented to the logic of Mr. MacKellar’s augment and agreed to replace the heater. This was largely due to his expertise and professionalism.

On the following day(Saturday), Mr. Trevino, coordinated and pick-up the heater from Home Depot and was working the removal of the defective heater and the install of the new one by 8:00AM – this was also Robert’s day off. Robert did an amazing job and was a true pleasure to have in our home.

My wife and I would like to personally thank MCS – Mr. MacKeller and Mr. Trevino for their patience working with Rheem, their professionalism and the outstanding work they did.

Just had a brand new water heater installed by Miguel and Daniel. They were very quick with the installation as not to inconvenience my household of water while making the replacement. They replaced gas lines and piping into the hot water heater so it was all fresh new equipment coming into the water heater. Miguel went over everything about the water heater and it now has an alarm so if it starts leaking it will notify me before it becomes a hot mess. These guys were very professional and quick with their installation and cleaned everything up like they hadn't even been here.

I had purchased 2 toilets from a big hardware store and MCS was contracted to do the installation. The hardware store messed up the order and did not provide everything I purchased. In addition, the hardware store was not providing much help to resolve the issue. However Alma and Carlos from MCS took charge to work out the issue with the hardware store and provided an excellent level of customer service that I have not seen in a long time. I will definitely be using MCS whenever possible!

Feb 2016 I saw a stand at Costco for heating and AC. I called the number and was informed by the person on the other side of the phone my spouse needed to be home. They told me there were around 240 different configurations for HVAC systems. I told the lady, just make an appointment and I'll be home, she refused and there was no other way to make an appointment. I recently encountered another rep and was informed Tony would give me a call. I've waited 10 business days and Tony has not called me. I don't even know why Costco has this business listed with them for service. I got my HVAC system done by Custom-Air inc. they're a local small family business and did a great job on my install. They're good at what they do. MCS has lost my business during my lifetime. Hopefully they can get their business straight, appears I'm not the only one with similar issues.

Mcs did some tune ups for us last wk. So impressed with tech Joseph that requested him the following week. He again impressed us with his professionalism. We will continue to use Mcs in the future and request tech Joseph.

The people that work there are so nice!!

Went to Home Depot and scheduled a free in home consultation but we were charged by them . They charged $100 to come out and provide an estimate which set off concerns immediately.

The estimate provided is extremely high and describes a number of upgrades that have to be made in order install a new water heater. To be honest the entire spiel sounded like a trick to get someone to pay as much as possible for work that is not necessary and justify the cost. When questioned was informed that the codes change every year which didn't seem accurate and the City of Albuquerque website lists the 2015 UPC as the current plumbing code for the City and State. Based on this the information is highly suspect to me. I am sorry that I trusted Home Depot and this company to provide me with a free estimate.

These are the folks trying to get you to buy refrigerated air as you leave Costco. Do not under any circumstances give them your phone number. You will receive robocalls every day from now on. No matter how many times you tell them to stop calling they will not. It also doesn't matter if you complain to Costco. They apparently are powerless to do anything about it. Mechanical Control Solutions has ensured that I will never use them for any work I need done.

We received a call from the company after our 1 star review. After an apology we decided to schedule the water heater install since they were highly recommended by friends. Robert showed up on time as planned and was very professional. He took the time to explain what everything was and how to perform regular maintenance for longevity. If you want a water heater installed right with excellent customer service ask for Robert.

I've been using Mechanical Control Solutions for a number of years now. The staff on the phone are friendly and helpful and the techs that come out are polite and personable. Aaron came out today to shut down my furnace and prepped my evap cooler for the summer. He answered all my questions and gets the job done. This is only the second time he's been to my home and he remembered being here before. With the number of customers he sees in any given week, I thought that was pretty impressive. I strayed once and got taken to the cleaners. I trust MCS!

Have had the worst experience with this company. Went through Costco thinking it would be a good company. What a joke!! Sandy the so called manager has the WORST customer service ever. When we asked to speak to the owner she said I will have to deal with her anyway. You makes appointments they don't show up. I paid for them to maintain our unit. One of their own workers says my air conditioning looks like it needs to be replaced. Its only 3 years old. I hope costco gets a better company. Do not do business with this company you will regret it. Sandy never had the onwer call us back. I am done with this company. Then they ask you are you member and yes I am but what difference does that make I am a paying customer and want what I paid for and you dont get what you paid for with this company.

We have had the worst experience with this company. We had scheduled to have them come out and service our AC and they never showed up. We also had them schedule to come out and provide an estimate for a tankless water heater and never showed. Just recently called to get our AC tune up and they called the day of the The appointment two hours at the end of the window to let me know they had to reschedule. I told him if that's what has to be done that's what had to be done, she said it will be two weeks to three weeks. So later that day when we were out around 4 PM at about 430 sure enough MCS shows up without calling or contacting me On the same day the said they needed to reschedule. Scheduling and dispatch of this company is the worst I've ever seen. Good luck with any type of natural gas service or anybody actually a rush I do not recommend this company for anything.

I had my water heater give up and caused water damage to my garage, so I had MCS take out my furnace and water heater for construction repairs. Then I had MCS reinstall my furnace and water heater as well. I want to give credit to the professionals who made it better. I'm going to start with Wade who I spoke with on the phone; very professional, he was responsive ,courteous, and understanding. Also the installers Robert Trevino, Luis Farias, and Jose A Holguin; all were professional, responsive, courteous, and respectful. Thank you all. I reccomend MCS to anyone needed a good professional Plumber or HVAC repair.

I trusted the MCS representative at Costco and there scheduling department don't make the same mistake I did go anywhere else for your HVAC needs. I made my service appointment 2 weeks ahead for a morning I could take off from work. The Costco representative called MCS while I waited and confirmed the date. I was annoyed they required a 5 hour window (8am-1pm) but agreed to be there for the period. At 1:10 after waiting 5 hours I called MCS only to be told the technician was running late and they weren't sure when he'd make it to my house. It was obvious they didn't care and had no intention of completing the service call so I canceled. What a waste of my time.

The salesman was friendly, as was the installation crew, we could hardly tell they were even here. Efficient team, got it done, and everyone was so extremely friendly and helpful.

Side note, top notch product!! It was warm in the whole house (2800 square foot) before we finished up the paperwork. I can’t say enough good about these guys!! Thank you MCS for making our home more of a comfortable place to be!

Contacted them to replace a gas water-heater. Paid $100 to get an estimate, was told it would be a same day estimate. Had to call the guy back myself and get the details of the estimate. Had them run some numbers on various types, tank gas, tankless gas and tankless electric. Didn’t get a callback with an estimate till two days later, after calling the guy Ben multiple times with no response, leaves his voicemail box full. Finally when we got our estimate, got our loan to get the job done come to find out they left out a critical inspection which tacked in money to the already expensive install. The supervisor never returned my call that day after the inspection and it was not until 4pm I had finally decided to call a competitor, got a quote in minutes the same day and they installed the day after.

I gave them too many chances and I was working harder for them to earn my business, and they left us waiting for a week with no hot water and giving me the terms and conditions talk when I asked for a refund of my inspection fee.

Never gave them our phone number. They constantly fill up my husband's voicemail with a pre-dialed message/auto-dialer. Never heard of this company until they started calling us, and we will never use them because of this harassment for the last four months. We are even on the do not call list, we have blocked their number, yet these people fill up his voicemail to the point where we have to empty it every week or else nobody else can leave a message. I wish someone at this company would contact me so I can try to remove the number from their call list!! Very unprofessional!!

We woke up Friday to no hot water and a dripping water heater. Called home depot who sent us over to MCS. Robert was at our home within an hour, explained everything thoroughly to us and spent time answering all our questions. We ran over to home depot and purchased a new water heater, which Robert then picked up. We were even able to upgrade to a larger tank, something I've been wanting since we moved in 12+ years ago.

Robert got everything installed the same day while being an amazing person as well. We were able to use our home depot card to pay, which took a lot of the stress of an unexpected bill off our chests. Robert not only brought our system up to code, but added extras to help the tank be as efficient as possible.

did an upgrade from a very old furnace and swamp cooler to a refrigerated air/furnace system from home depot using MCS as the contractors and they installed the system quickly and very professionally. brought water heater up to code as part of the process. took 2 days to install only because the condenser coils were back ordered but had system heating within a few hours. City inspectors were impressed with the installation said was one of the best they have seen. did not have to come back to fix code issues

This company was sent to repair my furnace by the Home Depot. Paul, the service tech was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He explained to me step by step his diagnostic process. The installers of my new unit, Miguel and Jesus were awesome! They were super professional and efficient. I'd recommend them to anybody who needed an installation. Overall, very good experience. They showed up on time and got the job done.

MCS installed our HVAC system last year and we were very pleased with them. The technicians were punctual, professional, and friendly. A little over a year later, our Rheem AC unit failed due to a factory defect. MCS sent a technician out, Jason, who identified the problem right away. We were outside our installation warranty by a few months, but MCS replaced the part for free, which saved us about $1500. Jason was great to work with. He was friendly and professional and knew what he was doing. He replaced the part in a timely manner and now our unit is working great. We highly recommend MCS!

Joseph Cardenas has been the person sent to my home on numerous occasions- he always goes above and beyond. He just doesn’t come and do the repair- he shares the rationale. He tells you what is necessary and what can wait. He also gives forewarning to avoid the same issues. He is kind, and provides excellent service with a smile! Thank you Joseph!

As before, I could not be more impressed with this company and Adrian. The water leak is a mystery and may or may not been found; but not for a lack of trying. Adrian doubled checked all the connections and cleaned up after himself even though I told him I would take care of it. Adrian is professional, friendly and a positive representation of the company.

My 13 yo residential high-recovery water heater (tied to my forced-air heating system) failed and needed to be replaced with a new one. the project also required several different upgrades to comply with code. After I submitted a job request through Home Depot, Robert (a.k.a. Roberto) from MCS came to replace it and did a fantastic job on the entire project.

Absolutely phenomenal! We purchased a Rheem water heater through Home Depot that inadvertently was defective. MCS (Robert, primarily) was assigned to service the unit, which had pilot light issues (from the factory) at the onset. He was off shift, but heard of our plight and at 6:00 p.m. came to evaluate the problem. From then on he and MCS kept in close contact with us until the appropriate replacement parts arrived, ultimately installing a new unit. He and David re-sweated the pipes, installed the unit; now the water heater is functioning optimally. The General Manager (Mr. Z) even came to the house to verify the issues with Rheem and Home Depot. They were focused on our safety and satisfaction. MCS called daily, spoke with both companies several times, and even transported the defective unit back to Home Depot for us. Five-plus stars for MCS!

Very professional team. I discovered them through Costco and they helped me with both my refrigerated air and water heater. I did my research in advance; they only carry the top rated brands (Carrier, Bradford White...). Also, I got a Costco rebate card for my refrigerated air condenser. Very satisfied.

Would I recommend these people for a contract -- Absolutely. MCS came out to our home and replaced a water heater that our home warranty insurance wouldn't replace under the warranty. From the first look at the WH Richard Trevino said that he could see at least 3 code violations and wondered why the Home inspector did not note them. Had the inspector noted the violations the seller would have replaced it at their charge prior to our purchase. The home inspector is getting a less than stellar review due to his shoddy inspection. Through Home Depot and MCS the replacement price ended up being about $800.00 less than was quoted from the Home Warranty company. Richard was helpful in his explanations on what he needed to do and made sure that the work was done professionally. At the end he made sure his work area was clean and neat and a training for care and maintenance was fully understood. A Technician like Richard goes a long way towards getting people like MCS recognized by the community as people you can depend on for fairly priced quality service. I will call on them again the next time I need service.

After twice confirming a scheduled consult time, this company was a no-show. I called to ask, and after speaking to a representative, we were assured at least a phone call to discuss our needs. We estimate that we need about $10,000 worth of work done - and they were aware of that - yet we got no call at all.

Perhaps they don't need the business, but if they're this bad on the sales end, I'm guessing they're no better on the installation and service end. This is the company currently subcontracting through Costco for heating, cooling, and air quality services from Lennox; this doesn't make Costco look good, either.

We scheduled a Saturday morning 10am appointment, no one called and no one showed up. I call them and I was told my appointment had been canceled because they were unable to contact me to confirm. No one called!!
The representative wanted to reschedule for a 4pm.
What a waste of my time!!!!!

Company contacted me after my purchase, set time and date. Jesus the technician showed on time as promised. He is professional in all ways, did the instalation, brought the system up to date and replaced parts previously installed so I would not have problems down the road. Worked hard and late to complete the instalation, great attitude, would not hesitate to use again.

Luis was my technician that came to take out my old swamp cooler and upgraded us to a master cool. He was extremely professional and quick about hooking up our new AC and even went above and beyond teaching me things about our cooler that I didn't know. I would highly recommend this company as they are kind, courteous, and professional.

If there was a star less then 1 I would select it. I paid for MCS premium plan for over 2 years and had the refrigeration unit serviced twice since they installed it. Between install date which was May of 2016 and April 18th 2022 nothing but issues and finally a lie in writing. They quoted a $1700 line fix due to my roofing contractor hitting the freon line. When in fact it was a small leak from a value that had only been touched by them when serviced. Resulting in a $900 fix. If I didn't get a second opinion I would have paid them $1700 plus tax and would have still been out of refrigeration this summer!

Called MCS person who requested to contact them to resolve issue was not available nor might not be seen in office today told his name is Ian. I hope I spelled the name correct.

Will keep everyone posted with the results I'm out 2yrs plus of $30 a month from MCS. Paid another company $900 and everything is tip top refrigeration and heater. No monthly no charge for true diagnostics.!

I want to thank the excellent customer service I received from Oscar, Manuel and Alex. They even came out on Halloween day to finish the job. They were very professional and courteous to our needs. They went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied with the installation. They earned my repeat business.

Bought a kitchen faucet from Home Depot and this was the company that did their installation.
Trevor installed the faucet. He was efficient, fast and a real pleasure. I told my husband we should have asked him to stay for dinner!
What a sweet guy. I plan to call MCS the next time I need a plumber and hopefully we will see Trevor again.

This company deserves zero stars. I can't believe that CostCo subcontracts work through this company. Shoddy work, doesn't show up for appointments, terrible customer service. Jennifer and Angelina are so rude that I am surprised they are still in business. We will be letting CostCo know how poorly MCS (Mechanical Control Solutions) represents CostCo customers.

This is a mixed bag for me. They replaced our water heater and did a great job, so when our air conditioner was acting up, we called them, expecting similar service. Unfortunately, we didn’t get it. I explained the symptoms on the phone and to the tech in-person, noting that we had recently purchased the home and that when we had moved in there was no filter at all on the HVAC system, so we were concerned it was very dirty inside the unit, I told them I wanted them to investigate and diagnose. The tech was here about an hour, said he measured all kinds of things and nothing could be done to improve the AC’s performance other than open/close vents in various areas of the house. I specifically asked if the coil had been cleaned, I was told yes. I specifically asked if the unit was fully charged with refrigerant, I was told yes. I paid $80. 3 days later the entire unit stopped working and was iced up. We called another HVAC company who came out and told us the unit was low on refrigerant and showed me that the coil was absolutely filthy. They fixed it the next day (cleaned the coil and recharged the refrigerant) and we are happier than ever with our AC’s performance, but absolutely no thanks to Mechanical Control Solutions. I would maybe use them for water heaters, but they wouldn’t be my choice for HVAC.

Today I had one part of my construction project completed. There were four gentleman who came to install my new mini split units. Miguel was the primary and he had a partner who I think his name was Jesus. They were absolutely awesome. They were great communicators about my project and very pleasant to be around. They did a great job.

MCS installed a water heater in my home through Home Depot. Although there was a bit of confusion initially (no big deal, confirmation text mistakenly sent to the wrong number), and a bit of a delay in arriving for the scheduled install (understandable--it's not always possible to predict exactly how long a project scheduled before yours will take), once the guys (Emmanuel and Kenneth) arrived they did a great job. They were efficient, thorough, courteous, and capable, and the electrician who followed (Alex) was also solid. All in all, I was pleased with the experience.

I get several sales calls a week from these jerks. They will definitely never see any business from me.

I had a wall furnace installed in 2017. The initial crew caused so much damage to the roof that now every time it rains, it literally leaks into the heater and the constructed base that is holding up the heater. Literal saturation in the heater and the base.
After my calls were continually ignored, I had file a complaint with the BBB in order to get them to come back out. The supervisor continued to dismiss the issue of the damage to the roof, had a service come out to seal around the piping; however, according to a roofer, the guy still did not seal it properly as in moving the asphalt back to tar around the pipe. Rather, it was lousy and rushed so now it continues to leak. Not mention how rude the guy was in talking to me like I was just a nagging customer.
I’m inclined to hire a lawyer to file a claim against their insurance for their neglect. The heater should be of service for 15 years and I will have to replace it AND repair the damage they have caused in less then that time.

Have used these guys for several years, should have quit them long ago. They are NEVER on time, they NEVER can complete a simple task in one day, they have over charged us every single time, this year was the last straw. They haven't shown up in 2 years to do the seasonal check/maintenance on our unit, shocker- it went out 3 weeks ago- they came out for a $$$ service fee, said there was a leak that couldn't be fixed, charged us $1000 to put more coolant in until they came out thr next day-- well coolant ran out in an hour and they still haven't come back . They did call and got really snotty since we won't be using them- they wanted to charge us 12-14k for a new unit. Told us our furnace needed to be replaced also- It doesn't This place just want to bend you over-- take youre business somewhere else- they will lie to you, take your $ and they don't fix anything. Check around- we found someone else to do it for $3600. That company is AMAN Mechanical! Give them a call!

Have had the worst experience with this company. Went through Costco thinking it would be a good company. Had a combo unit put in and this last summer, and in the winter months we were getting PMN bills for $300+ because it wasn’t heating right. They came out to fix it at least 4 different times with everyone from electricians, techs, and management.. It took about 2 months for the issue to fixed. Who knows what will happen this winter.... Another issue was the return air vent....it has leaked 💦literally every time it rains!!!🌧 They have been out to fix that problem about 6-7 times!!!💧Would Not Recommend This Company At All!!! 😡🤢Shame on you Costco for contracting this company out!!!!!

I would do your own personal inspection on their installation. I feel like Shotty work was performed on my roof! Patch job around grates were less than professional and the paint did not match. Removed vent grate to be showered in dust and ceiling pieces. Some of the screws can’t even be removed. Look in my attic to find empty water bottles and ends and pieces of venting tape and tools used to install just lying around. And to top it all off the worker just confirmed that the intake was not sealed properly and has now caused a leak!! $14,000 later and this is the quality of work you receive...no thank you.

This was my first experience with mcs. Our water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. They were available to do a same day installation at no additional cost. Robert T was amazing! He arrived on time. Robert completed the job quickly and was courteous. I would recommend this company you to all my family and friends because of Robert. He did a great job explaining the new code requirements. Very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for a job well done.

now since I also asked two other companies to come out and give me a bid on what will be a large job ( around $5000 or so), you can bet I was very clear on what I needed upfront.

now, they also charge a fee of around $80 to give an estimate.

which I think is a smart move on their part since its free money to them but an idiocy to those who pay it.

anyway, I will let you figure out the benefits or loss of paying someone to tell you how much they are going to charge you to do a job.

so, the plumber come out to my house, I walk him thru the project I need done and then say, I need a detailed written estimate of what they will do and the total cost.

I mean, I am paying $80 for them to come out and give me an estimate, right?

the plumber goes out to the truck, and a short while later comes back and tells me that they dont do the type of work I need done on mobile homes.

so, why did the person I spoke with on the initial call not tell me that then.

I can only assume the company does not train people well or they put incompetents on the sales line.

which makes me question the quality of the people they send to do the work.

so, a waste of my money and time dealing with this company.

although I think that spending the $85 to find out they were not competent was probably a good investment on my part.

so, I cannot recommend them at this time.

The residential team at MCS is the real deal when it comes to the service provided on my evaporative cooler and furnace at home. Not only are they enthusiastic about their goal of making customers comfortable in their homes, they provide expert estimates and advice at no expense. These guys are nice, punctual, polite and know what they are talking about. They treat me like a valuable customer each and every time! Can't say enough about how impressed I am with this company.

In regards to a same-day install of a new water heater, since original unit must have busted on the bottom and was leaking into our garage. This was my second time using MCS (referred by Home Depot) and I have had nothing but excellent service from them. They have installed refrigerated air and the most recent visit was a new water heater. From installation to inspection, they manage everything. Robert was the technician and he did a great job with the R&R of my water heater! Even the way he fabricated the piping looked like he was doing the job in his personal home! He could have run the lines directly from wall to unit, but that would have taken some valuable space in our garage. Instead he sweated several 90* angles to minimize the pipes going through the room. The company took extra time to mail me a $50 energy savings that I was unaware I had received with my unit. I’ll never hesitate to use this company again for additional services!

We had a problem with an installation of an AC compressor on the roof from about 4 years ago. It was determined that a roof leak was caused by a contract electrician error. MCS leadership stepped up and shared the cost of the roof repair and drywall repair in the garage. MCS went above and beyond in demonstrating great customer service. They have installed two complete HVAC systems for us and I highly recommend MCS.

The plumbers were very nice. The office was rude, not helpful. Once they recieved payment i couldn't get anybody to call me back. I found this company through home depot so i figured they would be a reliable company. It has taken over 3 months to get gas turned on in my house. I gave one star because there is nothing lower. Please beware, don't pay until all inspections installations are complete

MCS did a great job with our systems! Mauricio, our salesman, came in, evaluated what we currently had and provided a dual system (both mini-split and standard HVAC) to meet our heating and cooling needs. The technicians installing the system were very attentive to detail. When we experienced some issues with our mini-split during the first year, they came out and fixed it in a professional manner. We were so impressed, that we subscribed to their annual Silver service and look forward to having them maintain our system in the years to come.

Even though he had to come back for issues, that we are still deterring if it is a well or pluming issue, he stayed in contact with me to determine if my issues were resolved or not.
MCS has a good employee in Robert Trevino, an employee that knows Good Public Relations , knows how to keep the customer satisfied.
Hopefully MCS knows the qualities of this employee they have working for them.

I just talked to a female service rep today and she was so rude. I wonder why Costco would choose them for AC and heating services.

PUBLIC BEWARE!!!! My husband and I were approached by a sales rep for this company while shopping at Costco, they sounded fabulous and trusting Costco we scheduled a free consultation what could hurt right... So a salesman Nick showed up, talked about the five star service the top quality products and all the great extras... We we sold! He walked around looked at our home, we talked about the addition we were planning on adding (to make sure the right unit was chosen). My husband and I were under the impression the everything was measured correctly by a professional refrigerated air unit salesman, however we were SO wrong! The selling part he had down, got us approved for a loan within minutes & schedule for an installation within weeks.. We were excited after reading some of these reviews and with how things were going so far, the day of the instal we had to have someone over the age of 18 present of course. My father came down for the whole day due to instal time frames rather then appointments, the instal crew after unloading the equipment realized that it wasn't what was on the salesticket. A call was made to Nick for guidance, he told the crew not to worry and instal. Nick then called my husband and said his mistake Mechanical Solutions did not make a 5 ton unit for our home, but that the 4 ton would work just the same... Even for the addition, the unit was added along with a duct for the addition. Within 3 weeks we had our FIRST unit freeze, my family of 6 with 4 children under the age of 10 woke up to hot air blowing into the heat of that warm night.. I called the 24 hour customer service and was told I'd have a tech out in the morning time slot of 5 hours... When the tech got there he was unable to figure out the problem, so he showed my husband and I how to unthawl the unit if it froze before the morning when someone could come out. No one showed up that next morning and no call, when I called I was told the tech never said anything and would be out of town for the weekend (it was Saturday morning).. The customer service rep scheduled me for a Monday morning time slot.. Monday another tech came as the first one rolled his ankle in a baseball tournament that weekend, so he had to start all over as no one knew what the first one did since he said nothing... That new tech drained the system of the refrigeration coolant and refilled it, we thought all was fixed and we were good to go WRONG!! Within days the unit froze again, this time on a Friday night.. We called customer service, and were told that someone would call us back (no one ever called me back) we knew from the first tech how to unfreeze the unit thank God! I called again Sunday somewhat upset, and was told they would send another tech Monday evening so we could be there after work. That tech was WONDERFUL!! He measured the square footage of our home, tested the unit lowered the coolant level as it was too high from the second tech. He then told us our unit was WAY too small for our home, they Nick had our home at 1600 sq feet and we really were 2800 sq feet. He let us know that the company didn't not make anything bigger for our house and he wasn't sure what could be done but that this unit was overwhelmed that's why it froze over and over, that next morning I called and spoke to Sandy (the rudest manager for customer service I've ever had to deal with).. She made me feel like I was at fault and a bother, she told me she would send the instal manager Manny to figure out the problem. Manny came over that next day, he seemed like he wanted to help but still corporate so mechanical solutions were not at fault. He told us adding another small unit at the other end of our home would help the bigger unit from over working, but that after this they were done with helping. Now I was starting to see what I really got myself into... I called the company again hoping to speak to someone higher up then the staff I had been dealing with, wondering what happened to that five star service I was promised. A year later new issues, don't waste your money!!

As soon as we needed an estimate, they were at my house the next day. Orlando and Curtis did an excellent job on cutting the cost as much as possible. They provided a wifi thermostat (very handy) and air scrubber (to kill allergens and COVID) as well.

Miguel and Daniel, thank you for putting up with the extremely hot house while working. They installed two HVAC Units into our house all in one day! They were really professional in any questions my wife and I had. They answered everything and provided guidance on how to maintain our HVAC for a longer time. Excellent job and clean up after the installation too.

Another plus is MCS works with Home Depot if you need another way to finance your HVAC.

A few years ago I went through MCS to replace my swamp cooling and old heating system with a new HVAC system. We had a couple of issues with the pressure of the coolant staying in, but they came out 3.5 years after the install today and fixed it. Jose and Luis were extremely friendly, professional and quickly discovered a valve had a bad gasket. They replaced it and kept me informed the whole time of what they were looking at and discovered. I also didn't get screwed in charges because they covered the full issue under warranty. Great Job MCS!

You refered MCS to us for AC repair. Technician was fast efficient and knowledgeable and we were up and running in less than a half hour!!  Outstanding service and lady in the office kept us informed throughout the day while we waited.

I had initially contacted Home Depot and requested to have my evaporated cooler replaced with central air conditioning, Home Depot said they contract through Mechanical Control Soultions and they would install the AC unit. I gave Home Depot my information and waited for my contact with MCS. They called about a week later and I asked for a Friday consultation, they told me that they are only in my area on certain days and I told them that I can meet after 6pm on other days. They said they would call me back, they called back but it was only to have that same conversation three times! The fourth time, they agreed to meet on
Monday evening at 6pm. However, they wanted both myself and my wife present at the consultation. I told them that we can't both be there, my boys have baseball practice and they play competitive baseball. I told them that I would make the decision in the end to purchase the AC unit. She kept insisting that my wife should be present at the consultation and my wife needed to be present. I told her that my wife has complete trust in my decision and that we were going to buy a central AC unit. They replied that it's a huge decision and that my wife needed to be there and that no one has that kind of money lying around. I told her that I have the money and it's a done deal, I just need to find the best price. She kept insisting that my wife to be present at the consultation and I told her to forget that I ever requested and to not call me again. I won't be using their services and will use a local company for my AC purchase and install.

Jeremy R. and Jesus C. called first thing on the day of the appointment to give me a window of time, and arrived nice and early within that window. They completed the job quickly and efficiently, and were more than happy to go back up on the roof and show me how everything worked as well. I highly recommend them for anyone needing this type of work done.

Once they get your number at Costo, they never quit calling. If you get a quote from them and go with a different vendor, they turn very rude and abusive. There are many good HVAC companies in town, steer clear of this one. Read the YELP reviews.

After I set up an appt for a free estimate, they then continued to call asking to set up an appt for a free estimate. Then, after confirming the appt, they never showed up. If attempting to get an appt for just a free estimate was this uncoordinated, I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be to have them do any actual work.

Wish I could say what their service is actually like but unable to connect with anyone. Have been trying to get in touch with someone for a little over a week. Called nearly every day, mulitple times throughout the day. Left voicemails and sent an email. Must be exceptional or super busy since they dont answer phones or return calls. Maybe short staffed? Officially over attempting to contact this company, since there is no response.

They are the subcontractor for home depot. HUGE RIPOFF. Quoted me $150 to run water line to swamp cooler. I BOUGHT THE KIT AT LOWES FOR $14.99.

I had MCS install an ac unit at our home. We did it through Costco. They were great. Very professional and did not try to up charge me like the other company that quoted me. The cement pad was no charge if I wanted it on the ground, but I had it put on the roof to keep it clear of the dust. They also wired my breaker box for the 220 free of charge as it had an empty slot. They have serviced it since then and been helpful and informative each time. Definitely my go to company

MCS redid our entire HAVAC system. It took them 3 days total to pull everything out and install all new ducting and equipment. The crew was professional and cleaned up nicely when their work was complete.

We were looking for a mini split system for our house. The salesman that came, Derrek, was knowledgeable, professional, and convincing. There was some miscommunication, and I found myself speaking with the owner of the company. Not only did Sandy Adams listen to my concerns, she bent over backwards to offer several solutions and gave me some time to mull them over. I have to tell you I am sold on MCS. Sandy is a true professional.

I scheduled an appointment back in April for May 11, 2018, between the hours of 1:00 - 6:00. I waited at my home and by 4:00 no one had shown up. I called and was told that someone would be at my home by 6:00. I called again at 5:45 and was told that the supervisor canceled my appointment. The individual rescheduled my appointment for Monday May 14, 2018, again between the hours of 1:00 - 6:00. I explained to him that no one over the age of 18 would be home prior to 4:00. He told me that someone would give me a call on that day, but that it was good to get my appointment scheduled. When I arrived home, I asked my husband if anyone had shown up since he had gotten home. The answer was no. I asked my children if anyone had tried to ring the doorbell. Again, a negative answer. I contacted the scheduling department and was told that someone would be at my home by 6:00. Again, I call at 5:45 and was told that someone would be arriving soon. 6:00 came and went without anyone showing up. I called back and told them to cancel my appointment because of how they handled the situation. No one showed up for either one of the appointments that were scheduled and I never received a phone call at least letting me know what was going on. I rate the scheduling/service department very poorly and would not recommend them for any type of service. If I could leave this post without any stars I would. But I cannot seem to be able to post this review unless I at least mark one star.

I've always had trouble with this company. They installed heater, air and water heater at my mom's house. We had an emergency where the air conditioner went out, and even though I indicated my mom was elderly and on hospice, it still took them over 48 hours to send someone out. Also, when trying to sell her house, found none of the installations had the city inspection tags. Despite calling four times, talking to individuals who would research and get back to me, nothing happened. The next call was to a manager, who said she would get us one, but we would have to pay for it. Needless to say, I went elsewhere.

Just had spring maintenance check on HVAC. Great service - received calls to remind of service and when on the way. Joseph was profession, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I am not one to write bad reviews. If I feel a company has done an outstanding job, I will write a raving review. If the service is not so stellar, I typically don't complain, I just simply don't go back. However, the service I have experienced with MCS has been so terrible that I feel the need to let others know. When I started shopping for my refrigerated air, Costco came highly recommended to me. I looked into it and found they contracted with MCS. In the end, I was happy with what I saw and heard so I purchased thru them. The problems started one week after the installation and I had signed the paperwork. My AC just stopped working so I called MCS and apparently there was a bad blower in the brand new, week old unit. I understand that happens sometimes and really, that wasn't the issue. My issue is with the fact that NO ONE communicated with me. The day they were supposed to show up to replace it, no one showed. Then, they didn't have the part in stock and had to order it. They finally get the part and come to replace it and what happens? They ordered the wrong part. This entire time, no one within the company was communicating with each other and I was getting bounced around from person to person and no one knew what was going on. So finally, it gets fixed after about a week of this. This was end of June, beginning of July time frame mind you so it was HOT and was literally almost 90 degrees in my house. Fast forward to today in August. I haven't had any further mechanical problems with the AC and it has been working great. However, I called Costco today to check the status of the rebate that was promised me. The whole reason I went with the top energy efficient unit was because of the almost three thousand dollars I would be getting back in rebates. It has been 7 weeks since the unit was installed and I signed the paperwork. I call Costco to check the status and THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE REBATE BEING SUBMITTED. I call MCS customer service to see what's going on because from what I was told when I signed with them, I should have been getting the rebates any day now (you get 3 rebates total, Costco, PNM, and NM Gas). They tell me they are still waiting for the payment from the bank because I financed and they cannot submit to Costco till they receive payment. This was NOT communicated to me when I signed. They said 6-8 weeks total. Then, I ask about the PNM and NM Gas rebates. The lady tells me they need the serial number from the coil on my unit. They never thought to call me in 7 WEEKS, to get that number. Furthermore, they sold me the unit, shouldn't they have all the serial numbers? I was dumbfounded and beyond livid. Basically, they have been sitting on this for 7 weeks and didn't bother to call me or let me know what was going on so I have been waiting like an idiot thinking these rebates were on their way and they hadn't even been submitted yet. I just cannot believe that this has been sitting on someone's desk for 7 weeks and no one thought to call me or reach out to me. Had I not called today, who knows how much longer I would have been waiting for something that was never even on its way. Again, poor communication on their end. As someone who has been in customer service for 10+ years, I know you HAVE to communicate with not only your customers, but the other staff as well so that everyone is on the same page. For a 15,000 dollar purchase, I would have expected gold star treatment and customer service from this company. That has CLEARLY not been the case and I'm severely disappointed. Get it together MCS.

The plumber David showed up on time. Got my new water heater installation up to code. We have an old house so getting the installation up to code took a lot of work. David cleaned up the mess from all the work it took to install my water heater. Now I have hot water again. I bought the water heater from Home Depot and MCS employee David came to install it the next day. I was very pleased with David's politeness and professionalism. I am happy with MCS service and have hot water again.

Management offers very poor customer service and will promise to get the job done correctly but will not follow through. They're quick to charge you for services not provided and make a sale - They will argue the fact that the job was done correctly even though it was not and will charge you again to come out and look at the same problem! I don't know why Home Depot would associate themselves with a non reputable dishonest company such as this one. Be Careful and think twice about using them!

Jason and Jesus serviced my swamp cooler and furnace. They installed the filter to prevents hardwater scaling for me.. They even noted last service missed the dampers, which they will note and share with office and record for my account. 2x a year service always good. Arrived early Saturday morning ready to install our new hot water heater. L.O. and J.A. worked quickly and professionally. They stayed until the hot water heater was working properly. They cleaned up their mess and were gone. Just like they were never here.

Our hot water heater is part of our Aqua Therm heating system. The team from Mechanical Control Solutions offered to come in late Friday afternoon and work until our heat was restored. The inside of our house was not too cold. I decided that Saturday morning would be OK for them to return and install the new hot water heater. After two and a half days we have heat and hot water again.

Set up an appointment through Costco. Scheduled to come out Monday. Called Monday afternoon to confirm. Talked to Angelina, she apologized andsaid I wasnt on the schedule. Set me up for Tuesday. Confirmed the appointment right then and there. Tuesday, no call, no show for appointment. I call to see what's up, they collect all my info again. Finally get to the point I can explain what I need, Angelina tells me I'm not on the schedule. I told her no thanks. Talked to my dad about it, he tells me about his appointment issues with them. Apparently this is a reoccurring theme. Skip this nightmare, it doesn't get better after install.

Turns out, they don't update calling lists. They've called me four times in the last two months.

I had MCS replace my worn out evaporative cooler with a Master Cool at the beginning of the summer. It made a difference....better than the original cooler.

In the middle of August, it did not seem to be working as effectively, and I had company coming to visit for a week! The Master Cool had also just begun leaking on the roof. I called them on a Saturday at 4:45, and I was thinking....nobody is going to come on Saturday at 5:00!

Wrong. By 5:45, Luis H. had shown up and fixed the problems. Good as new...maybe better.

This is a professional company with responsible employees. My neighbor across the street highly recommended them, and I was smart enough to take their advice. I also highly recommend them.

MCS designed and installed an under floor unit and duct system. The AC has never worked properly. MCS keeps sending technicians over that find reasons not to do anything. Temperatures never get below 80 degrees. I try to get management's attention but the scheduler keeps interfering by sending techs.

MCS installed a new AC, smart thermostat, and furnace system last year. They did an amazing job then, so when it came time to replace our >20 yr old water heater, we turned to them again. We're very happy we did.

Driving > 2 hr from Abq, MCS installers David Ramos and Israel Barraza were on time, highly professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job in installing our new Rheem nat'l gas water heater - everything to code with all the current safety features, including an overflow catch basin (which was not mentioned in the detailed work). David and Israel also went beyond what was expected: Apparently, the old water heater had been leaking onto the base / pedestal over the years, forming a sinking hole under the unit. David and Israel repaired the base with a custom fitted board (apparently, they carry that around) to reinforce the base and seal off the water damage before setting the Rheem in place. They also took the time to go over the features, what to expect, and a simple maintenance procedure.

For both our HVAC and water heater, it's evident that MCS knows what they're doing. They're prices are fair and they are upfront / transparent with you. Ask as many questions as possible - they'll answer them. Summarily, I highly recommend MCS to take care of your greatest investment.

This has been the WORST $18,000 headache in my life. They stopped me at Costco, came out and gave me my third estimate and I thought I was making a good decision.
First, they took longer than the 3 days they told me about. Second, they had a kid at the house. It was one of his first jobs. He had no idea what was going on and was constantly reminded by his superior to keep working. Third, they kept calling and callingto collect payment before the job was done. We agreed payment would run after completion. After waiting for the patching guy for almost two weeks, I FINALLY called and lost my mind on these idiots. Well, I thoughtall was well, I have had THREE vents LEAK so far with the rain we have had. Still waiting for one fix to be scheduled.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, BREATH OR EXPECTATIONS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Home Depot subs out toilet installs to these folks. Tech shows up without parts, rags or even a trashbag to cover the toilet as he carries it dripping out of the house leaving a trail along the way. Wet boot prints throughout the clean house. I would get better service hiring one of those guys hanging out in front of Home Depot. One extra star for showing up on the day it was scheduled...

I stumbled across MCS on a PNM website. I had never heard of MCS before but after reading some Google reviews, I felt somewhat confident trying them out. This company has gone above and beyond as far as customer service and professionalism go. I had some HVAC issues that I was dreading (and thus putting off) but wanted to get taken care of before the 90 degree weather hit. This was during the COVID-19 pandemic, too. The operator answered from her home (working from home) and needed to do some research before calling me back. Within minutes I received a call back from Phil, a commercial sales rep. He made a plan to be there the next day. After a brief site visit, Phil explained that I would get a phone call soon regarding a service date. Well, I received that phone call within an hour to let me know that a technician would be there within 30-minutes! Phil showed up again with Jeff (technician). Both were fantastic. They were able to diagnose the problem (not an expensive one) within a couple hours. I was so impressed that I signed up for their quarterly maintenance program on the spot and asked for a quote for several refrigerated air units. This is an honest company that I feel comfortable with. I'm loyal to companies that I trust and MCS is going to earn my business for the foreseeable future.

If you are at a point (like I was) where you don't know who to call for HVAC service, try these guys out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The service and professionalism of this company is so far above experiences with other companies that, quite simply, I am blown away. They always showed up when they said they would. They did what they said they would do. They responded to my every issue, question and concern and went far above and beyond in addressing my requests. As a business person, I am acutely aware of the service aspect and am often disappointed, but MCS provided me with superb products and customer service.

Every time it rains we have leaks from our return air vent.... they have been out to fix it about 6-7 times and it’s still leaking!!! Obviously these people have no clue what they are doing... Also had problems with heating over the winter, we several ridiculously high PNM bills over the course of a few months. I’m surprised Costco would support such a awful company!

Have used MCS several times in the past. Today Aaron and Jesus were professional and knowledgeable. Supporting local businesses, like MCS, is greatly appreciated!

I couldn't be happier with my experience working with MCS. The job was extensive involving HVAC, plumbing and electrical. Having everything done by one company made the project run smoother than I ever thought it could. Mark Apodaca managed all aspects of the project like a pro, making multiple trips onsite to guarantee there were no surprises once the work started. His team was top notch. Paul and Emmanuel did an amazing job restoring the plumbing system and HVAC. No matter what situations arose they quickly found the right solution and the project never slowed down. Preston and Angel took care of all the electrical with minimal down-time. Their attention to detail probably saved me from a major disaster. Thank you Angel! Roberta coordinated the schedule, permits and inspections keeping me informed every step of the way. I won't hesitate to recommend MCS to my family and friends.

I am extremely impressed with the 2 gentleman who installed my water heater today. Robert is a very knowledgeable professional and his apprentice, Matt, even help me carry my groceries. They did everything up to code with an inspection from the city. This review is no BS!

At first I was happy with their service, but after we signed up for a yearly contract with them, the service went down hill. It has been almost 100 degrees outside all week and our AC on one side of our building is not working. We have called everyday this week to schedule service and no one is calling us back. I have employees working in horrible conditions. This is unacceptable.

Use this company only if desperate. Supervise them closely. Expect that they will try to cut corners. Call them back and make them do the job right.

MCS installed our heating and cooling system several years ago. They have always been responsive whenever we needed service. On the last service visit, Jason discovered that our cooling coil unit had a leak. He worked hard to find a replacement unit and get it installed under warranty. We appreciate his help in discovering and fixing this problem. Jason's work was very efficient, neat and professional. We will certainly use them again for service calls and future HVAC needs.

Our thermostat stopped working and our house is beyond hot. The woman on call answered once out of the 15 times we called not exaggerating... she said she would get someone to our house for $129 I told her I would call back because that's not what my paperwork stated being a club member and all I am only supposed to pay $79... She turned the on call phone off 😡 so much for 24 hour service that's supposedly guaranteed

Needed a new swamp cooler(HVAC) installed due to our other being very old, and way over due for a new one. Miguel and Daniel came out to do the install and we’re extremely professional as well as fast :) Our old one was apparently barley hanging on for dear life, so when they installed the new one they went above and beyond. Very affordable and was able to get a senior discount as well, per my mother living in the home. Would definitely recommend their services and will use them again in the future if needed!

Jesus Hdez did a fantastic job for us. He was extremely professional and explained all work thoroughly. It was a pleasure having him work here. He deserves a big raise!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Awful customer service. Always given the run-around by staff. Literally would not recommend to anyone.Worst $15,000.00 spent on Refrigerated air units. Wish I could go back and pick anyone else.

Sold us an expensive system that was not suitable for our type of house - did not perform any site survey or heat load measurements to determine best fit. Basically more interested in selling us the system that gave them the biggest profit, rather than what was best for us. 2 stars and not 1 because the installers on the day were professional and respectful. Use them if you want, but do your research first.

Joseph was awesome. Very professional and knowledgeable. Got my AC unit tuned up and got me set for some other work around the house, replacing the water heater. I definitely recommend MCS. They did my AC install a few years ago.

These guys installed the water heater we bought from Home Depot. They were very helpful and did a great job.

Shiann was the woman who helped me on the phone and walked me through the process. I appreciated her help as I had no idea what I was doing and she made everything so easy as well as was very quick and responsive. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of the installer who came to my home but he was very helpful with questions.

MCS was amazing! I call on a Saturday when my hot water heater broke and they were out within a couple hours to replace it. Robert Trevino did an amazing job.

Still in the first year of install/service/warranty. Mid Jan. blower out, 5 to 7 days for parts? Call to express concern with schedule/lack of service urgency and they hang up? This is the Costco Experience!

It was a pleasure meeting Luiz today. Not only is he personable and helpful but, man, is he quick. The water heater was up and running perfectly in no time. Plus, it's great to have hot water again!

So far, so good! I had the worst hvac system put in around six years ago by another company. I finally decided to bite the bullet and look at mini-splits. I also decided to go through Home Depot. My estimator was Bruno Rodriguez who works for MCS. He spent a lot of time with me, going over all my options, even trying to repair the current system. He never pressured me and I took many days to decide. In the end, it was mini-splits for me. Because of my work schedule I had to get a firm appointment for installation. Due to some unforeseen circumstances Bruno called and said the installation would be delayed a day, however, Bruno also told me that he was putting two crews on the project to make sure the installation would be done as scheduled. The install guys were great! They got done quickly and efficiently and were warm and helpful. I have a habit of asking questions during installation and they were great about answering. Bruno followed up the next day to make sure everything went well. Even though it’s only been several weeks, I am very happy with the whole process, particularly with Bruno. He was the right rep for me.

I needed a replacement custom size ceiling register. MCS ordered it perfectly and Kenneth installed it. It took him little time to complete the job. He was fast, thorough and polite. All was very easy, profession and cost effective.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with your MCS.. I I know how hard it is to have and retain good staff! I have found it extremely difficult in New Mexico, since my move from the east coast, specifically anything customer service related. It is very sad that it is lacking here, however Sandy, Jeremy, Ian, Manny, and Paul are your true heroes at MCS. Whenever I need something I call Sandy or Jeremy and someone is sent within hours. They have fixed my water tank (which had an active leak), installed a $5,000 water softener, demolished a boiler system, and removed baseboard heating. They also just recently removed my split unit so we can have new windows installed and then replaced it in a more heat efficient area.

Because my expectations in customer service are always high, it is refreshing when a company meets my expectations and when they do not, it is expected that they be diligent about remedying it, in an expedited manner, which has always been the case with MCS.

Sandy deescalates situations, even when I get loud (as is always the case since I am from NJ). She is pleasant to speak to and always resolves my situations. She always sends the guys out quick and I usually have a remedy same day.

Jeremy has great customer service skills and is also a good problem solver. He cares about his customers and he works great with his guys. I am sure they respect him immensely and am rest assured when I know he is coming to inspect a final job. I do not worry when I know him or his guys are coming to complete a work order. He is professional and is always available to talk to when I have questions . He is a star and should be commended for his work.

Ian is also the epitome of customer service. His demeanor, his calmness, and his way of talking to customers would deescalate any situation. He is professional and also ensures that a job is done properly.

Two of the non-manager staff stand out as well; Manny and Paul. They are excellent, friendly, funny, and hard workers. They do not dilly dally and try to get the work done efficiently.

Trevor who works in plumbing who installed our faucet and garbage disposal in the kitchen was also a pleasure to work with. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

It is staff like this that make a company thrive well. We know this world of social media well. When people are unhappy, they run to let everyone know, but will not do the same on the other spectrum. Thanks for the hard work! I will definitely use them again and again!
