From the first call I made to the last call from Mr. Alderete letting me know when he would arrive, a sad experience was made better by the two employees I talked to. Mr. Alderete was exactly on time, very courteous and helpful. I will call this company when I need help with plumbing needs.

I have trusted Américo and Jerry for over 25 years. They always do a great job and when I have a job that requires equipment they don’t have, they send me to someone else reliable.

I wont use any other company BUT Mountain Top Mechanical. Professional, punctual, honest....and I can rest at ease knowing they will fix all my plumbing problems and they will fix them in the timeframe they promise at the beginning. THANK YOU MOUNTAIN TOP MECHANICAL!!

Called me that they would be late ! They finished the same day with an extra crew arriving, it was 103 that day ! Left the place clean .Again so glad !

Had an appointment between 10AM and 12PM today. Had to drive all the way to Albuquerque and hang around the city for two hours just for them to no call no show.

Edit: Response 1 Yes. I did reschedule with you multiple times. Never once did I reschedule or cancel with you without giving a minimum of 24 hours notice, which is a courtesy you did not provide to me. I will however, say that it takes guts to admit you left me hanging due to an intentional act on your part. I have to respect you for that

Edit: Response 2 Now you have modified your response to claim I stood you up, as well as claiming that I cancelled same day. This is entirely untrue. I never gave you less than adequate notice of cancelling my appointment with 24 hours being the absolute minimum. Also, you did not send any text alert to me.

I called my home warranty company HWA to report that my evaporative cooler wasn't working and they assigned me to Ashcraft Mechanical. After performing a quick Google search for the company and saw the sole review they had, which was on Yelp with 1 star. To say the least I wasn't too enthusiastic about using them and decided to call the home warranty company to have another company assigned to assist us.

After 4 days of waiting for HWA to find another company we decided to use Ashcraft despite the review. During their first visit to evaluate the problem, the techs were on time, polite and very efficient. They told us the problem with the cooler and the it would require replacement as it wasn't worth it to fix. By this time we had been dealing with the high heat outside and it was even hotter in our house. The tech managed to do what I couldn't do, get the cooler to limp along and provide some cooling while they did the quote and submitted it to HWA. HWA sat on the quote for a few days and after repeated calls the quote was approved and we called Ashcraft late Thursday to let them know as they had been calling HWA also. Their office staff was incredibly polite and said they needed to confirm and would call us back. In less than 5 minutes they called us back and asked if we would be home the next day, which was a Friday. The techs showed up around noon and in less than an hour and a half they removed the old cooler and installed the new one and had it up and running.

I know the other review used HWA also, and felt that Ashcraft was the cause of the issues they experienced. But in my family's experience, it was HWA that caused the delays and issues not Ashcraft Mechanical. I would highly recommend Ashcraft to anyone, while advising those same people to stay away from HWA.

I don’t usually write reviews, this is a first. I needed a new water heater and didn’t know who to call. When I was given his number, I looked up his reviews and was hesitant to call. I’m so glad that I went ahead and listened to the recommendations rather than the reviews. Donnie came and changed out our water heater. He is very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job, going over and beyond what was expected. I would highly recommend him.

We have used Ridge Top Plumbing several times over the past few years. Once we had a sewer problem where tree roots had begun to grow into and clog the main line from our house to the city line and they located the problem, cleared the stoppage and all was fixed promptly and at an affordable price.
Later we had a problem with a gas line to a furnace and they went into the crawl space and replaced the line and lit the furnace, just in time for the winter months.
Another time they added a gas line so we could replace an electric dryer with a gas model and again they did a great job with very affordable pricing.
They are currently remodeling a shower for us that had an old valve with a slow water leak that damaged the tile and allowed mold to grow.
I would highly recommend Ridge Top Plumbing to anybody looking for quality work at an affordable price in the Albuquerque Metro area.

Mr. Pacheco is by absolutely top notch. He is knowledgeable with exceptional customer service. He goes above and beyond and provides quality work.

I had a similar experience as Max J. I had a furnace inspection scheduled and no one showed up. I finally called to inquire and was told that they had been calling my phone to confirm the appointment that morning and got no answer—turns out it was because they got my phone number wrong when they wrote it down (which was bizarre because I was already an existing customer). Tracy showed up about an hour later—two hours after my initial appointment time. He services the furnace, pointed out something he thought should be fixed and offered to give me a quote but then never did. I decided to give them another try for my rental property and then they showed up an hour earlier than the appointment and said they couldn’t do the time we had scheduled the appointment for. So no service. They apologized to my tenant and said they would call to reschedule. No call yet. I want to support small local businesses and understand they have resource constraints but this is just ridiculous. How about you just show up on time to your scheduled appointments? (And maybe develop a more sophisticated system for storing customer information if your solution to not being able to get someone on the phone is to not show up at all.)

If I could leave negative stars I freakin would!! My home warranty company Contracted this so-called company to come out between 11 and 3 PM for a major sewage back up I’m talking about sewer water in both of my bathrooms in my home. They showed up at 6 o’clock did not even introduce him selves or show any kind of identification that they worked for the company came in took pictures asked me for $65 and I ask them when they were going to do the work they said they weren’t sure they were going to be able to that they had to submit it to my warranty company first which was a lie when I told him I wasn’t giving them $65 telling you something was going to be done they got in the truck and left!!! Disgusting scammers !!!!
