So helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Was able to get a detailed quote and explanation of the install before they started the work. They were able to help me show how it worked and had a very professional install. Everyone from the office to installers were very friendly and respectful.

I highly recommend this company for HVAC repair/maintenance. I was given a recommendation from a friend who uses them in Socorro, I’m in San Acacia and it’s not easy to find a company that comes out here or anyone to even call you back around here. I received excellent customer service when I called to schedule, the service date was within a week of my call. Victor the technician was on time, called me to let me know he was near, he was prompt professional, skilled, knowledgeable and most of all very personable. I am extremely pleased with Victor, the service and communication he provided, and best of all was the cost- very affordable! Thank you so very much Western Mechanical and Victor, I will definitely be using you for future needs and recommending you to others! Great job, happy customer!!

When you want highly skilled, fairly priced HVAC service by excellent people, this is the company to use. They don't guess at solutions. They carefully troubleshoot and start repairs only when they identify the problem. Repairs are done correctly the first time.
Jason , the service manager, is excellent. A major repair was not performed until comprehensive testing was done by multiple technicians.
I have used them for years in including installation of a package heating and cooling replacement unit and air duct cleaning. Service was highly professional and technicians very competent. Duct cleaning was extremely thorough and detailed unlike others I have used. They sealed each vent and duct and used a truck mounted vacuum. This cost more than highly advertised duct cleaners but the quality of the work was justified by how well the duct cleaning was done.

We were in the middle of a bathroom remodel when my contractor discovered that the radiant heat manifold was leaking. I called Western and they had a tech out the next morning. Eric was fast, professional, and was able to complete a reasonably priced repair as opposed to a whole new expensive manifold kit. I'm very grateful and would definitely use them again!

I am undergoing a kitchen renovation, and called to schedule a quote for a natural gas line to be run to my oven range. I was pleasantly surprised when Mike returned my call and made it out to visit the house the next business day.
I had several other electrical and A/C issues ongoing as well, and Mike was very kind to help me troubleshoot the A/C system installed incorrectly by another company. He got it working for me in mere minutes, and gave me a referral to an electrician who could correct the electrical issues. Now I can cancel the service call I have scheduled with the OTHER HVAC company who incorrectly installed and wired the A/C to begin with, and couldn't make it out for over a week.
It is amazing to find such helpful individuals who are willing to spend a few extra minutes to meet a customer's needs. I will be switching to this company for any further HVAC. Excellent customer service.

Unfortunately, we can’t recommend this company. They are very overpriced. We paid $311.15 for their technician to replace the pump and belt on our swamp cooler. That’s a $40, 40 minute job. We had to pay $89 to get the technician out here, and that sum can be applied to your repair. When the technician said he needed to replace the pump and belt, we figured we might as well move forward and apply that $89 to something useful. How much more than $89 could a simple job like that be? $222 more apparently. It’s our fault though. When we asked for an estimate, and he said he’d let us know later, we should’ve heeded that red flag. Obviously, if we had known that price up front, we would’ve just done it ourselves.

I did call the company and tell the manager that the pricing was ridiculous. I looked up equipment costs, and we paid $84 for a $29 pump in addition to $90/hr in labor for the guy to shop for it. The manager explained that he had to charge that much because there’s a lot of overhead that goes into that pricing. I understand that; I do have a management degree. However, charging three times the cost of equipment in addition to $90/hr for shopping for it is padding your pockets not covering overhead. Lesson learned. We won’t be working with this company again.

Western mechanical were fine once they showed up. It was not 24 hours like I was quoted, more like a week. Home depot was not exceptional either. Took numerous phone calls to connect with someone, then passed around numerous times, on hold for over 45 minutes one time. The biggest farce was GE! They have been non- compliant from the start. Always some excuse why they could not send a replacement immediately, even though they had pictures of the damage. I filed complaint an hour after opening the box, on 9-2-20, and still on 9-25-20, I still haven't heard when delivery will be. I will never buy another GE product made by them, and will not recommend anyone else buy from them!!! I want my new washing machine!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend Western Mechanical to anyone who expects fast, courteous and fair priced service. They not only complete the work on time but sometimes even under estimate. I really appreciate how they stand behind their work. We recently had our little Shih Tzu receive her angle wings and received a sympathy card from Amanda. That is above and beyond personal service.

Western Mechanical is a business that cares and it shows by the service and professionalism of there techs. We needed some service work to our AC and a diagnosis of why it was not working as well as it should have. We called about 4-6 other businesses before we got an answer. We are so glad that they answered because we received the best service possible. I would recommend these folks for any service work and diagnosis. The price point for the call was less then anyone else and the cost for repairs was very fair and spot on. Please call these guys and book with them today! We know we will from here on out!

(Wonderful company. Called when it was time to make an appointment without me having to remember. Joshua was extremely friendly and was enjoyable to talk to you and did a fabulous job. If he wasn't sure on something ie renewing he would say I will get right back to you that afternoon. Sure enough!! Also Amanda was extremely nice on the phone and kept me updated and my paper work. Very professional. 3years ago) I do not like that I cannot at least leave a message after hours/weekend. This is not good especially if it is an emergency.

i have had 2 of Western Mechanicals techs work on my heating/cooling. They were both very competent and very professional. i do feel especially confident in Justin who is not only highly qualified but very professional too. after trying different HVAC providers, i've settled on Western Mechanical for everything HVAC. final point: i think their service contract is the way to go.

I interacted with Stephanie, the receptionist at Western Mechanical on several occasions to schedule an appointment. She was professional and very courteous. She kept me informed of any changes. She is the first person that a customer interacts with and if this is an indication of the company's reputation, I would highly recommend them. When Victor arrived to work on my boiler, he stated that my boiler needed a modification before he could provide the service I needed. After further discussion and the cost involved he informed me that winter was just about over and since I was putting a new system in. It was not worth it. Its nice to see honest HVAC personnel that do not try to provide services that are not needed. I will use Western Mechanical in the future for my HVAC needs

We experienced extraordinary service and professionalism from all the members at Western Mechanical we dealt with. They were diligent and persistent in resolving a problem with the original installation of our heating system by another contractor. Mike and his crew were always courteous and professional and had the technical knowledge to back it up. Highly recommended.

They were repeatedly HOSTILE AND THREATENING over misunderstandings. They forgot to turn our gas back on before leaving. (Which was why nothing was lighting, which they were aware of.)

Tech Daniel came out to fix a drainage and pump issue with our AC system which was leaking water everywhere. He fixed the issue promptly and professionally with dogs and little kids running around nearby. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

Heater went out in the middle of the night. I called them @ 7:00 am and an actual person answered. They asked me if I could meet them a 1/2 hour later. They showed up on time, fixed the issue quickly, and now I have heat.

I honestly don't know anything about their service or quality... but if their drivers are anything like the folks that show up on your door step, these guys are ass holes... going from Santa Fe to abq and doing 90 and these guys were pressing and flipped me the bird when I got over even when there was nowhere for them to go... they employ these kind of guys I guess....

I have lived in the same house for 3 years and have had others come out to fix our swap cooler and every year feel as if doesn't work. Mr.Joshua came out to fix my swap cooler and my swap cooler has actually made summer bearable. Thank you for taking your time and being concerned about fixing it properly because my childern are in the home.

I have been using Western Mechanical since 1999. Mike and Jimmy are very responsive to any issue. Jazmyn is a gem to talk with and is very prompt when returning calls and emails. Western has handled numerous issues for us and have some great technicians who are prompt, polite and professional. John, Victor and Dakota have really impressed me with their expertise and attention to detail. A great company.

We are extremely grateful for western mechanical and their team.

Our heating system had been out for four days and we were having a difficult time finding someone who was able to come out quickly.

We contacted western mechanical and were told someone wouldn’t be available for 3 days. We explained that we had a special needs child and our home was becoming too cold to bare with the weather temperatures dropping. Thankfully, they were able to make some arrangements and someone was at our door within an hour. Greg was very professional and was able to get our system up and running again.

We cannot thank you enough for your help, understanding, timelines and professionalism.

I booked Western Mechanical for a diagnostic service on our home AC unit to find out what is wrong with it so we can know how much it will cost to fix it or replace it.

I appreciate the work they did but they always hide fees and not upfront with you. When I booked the appointment they told me it was going to be $92 and I expected to be charge that plus tax like any business. After the service is over and it’s time to pay, they bring up that a credit card fee I have to pay if I pay with a debit or credit card and that I should write a check or pay with cash if I don’t want that. This are things that should have been mentioned before hand so I could have it before they came not surprise me with them after the service is complete. I don’t have the time to start rushing to the bank to get an exact change and go get a check at the bank. I’m a business owner myself and I have crooked businesses that hides stuff and try to add it to your bill later. When I called, they said they apologise that they forgot to mention it to me when I booked the appointment over the phone. Well, I don’t care about your apologies because it’s costing me money.

This diagnostic service was completed on last week Thursday September 1st which is when they billed me. Today is Thursday September 8th (one week later), I am still to receive a report of the findings with a cost of how much it will cost to fix it vs replacing it. They were in a rush to take my money without finishing the work they charged me for.

I do not recommend them at all and I am not even sure if the good reviews they have online are even real reviews!

My A/C stopped working the Friday of the Forth of July weekend. I called on July fifth, and they said they could come out the next day, between 8-10. The service tech was here at 8. He found the problem quickly, had everything to fix it right then (blown fuse and another little thing) and I was happily surprised by the cost. Now again I am in icy cold bliss, thanks to Western Mehanical

Trash! Terrible at calling back, when they would call back never knew what was going on, charged me for time it took them to have a technician who wasn't certified in commercial to call the one who was and still got charged for a non working walk in freezer.
