Insanely fast and efficient! I had a basement floor that was backing up and causing all sorts of trouble, and they were in and out within an hour and I have had zero problems since. Quick, knowledgeable, and they gave me advice on how to avoid the problem in the future.

Our HOA used Vaughan to remove an unused 2 City water meter before we had our private streets repaved. Tommy Vaughan scheduled an appointment in just a few days, was prompt and delivered a bid where several other requests for bid didn't. His guys were efficient, courteous, and explained things well. Vaughan coordinated everything with the City Permits department and the Water Department. It was all wrapped up quickly, with minimal disruption to the surrounding grounds with the dig. Highly recommend them.

I’ve had an exceptional experience with Rainbow Plumbing. They were very accommodating when I emailed and called them to set up an appointment time that would work best with my night shift work schedule. I’ve had them out several times to fix a kitchen sink leak, replace an overly rusted and calcified toilet parts, and install a new faucet. Their labor time was quick and the plumbers were very knowledgeable and friendly. The labor costs in my opinion were very reasonable and competitive and they don’t charge a $50.00 “travel fee” (with or without an estimate) like one of their competitors, at least not that I know of. I’d use them again for more future projects.

Plumbing is one of those things you dread spending money on; I mean no one ever says, Hey, you want to see the new pipe in my basement? But when you need to, you want to find a company that does good work at a fair and reasonable price. I can honestly say that Affordable Plumbing & Sewer is those guys.
We have one of those homes in Brookside with the dreaded 100-year-old sewer line. Ours was really in bad shape, and unfortunately for us, we did not find out about it until a home inspection while we were selling the house. Affordable was called into to assess the situation. They said it was bad. I also called a couple of other plumbing companies as well. One company changed its estimate three times. Another never called me back after promising they would. I read the reviews on Affordable, I admit, after reading some of them, I was apprehensive. But they said they would stick to the estimate, and the work needed to be done to move forward with the sale.
On the day of the pipe burst, Affordable sent a team of guys to my house. They encounter several challenges during the job from a house trap encased in 2 feet of concrete (it shouldn't be that way); to a hidden manhole; to having to fuse the pipes inside so they wouldn't have to break the windows that are sealed shut. The job was way more complicated and time-consuming than anyone thought, but they got it done. And what's more, they stuck to their estimate. I give a lot of credit to Rick, who was there for all the issues and found a way through them. He is genuinely a nice man who has volumes of experience doing complicated jobs.
So if you live in the Brookside area (or in the KC metro) and have the sewer problem or any other problem, give Affordable Plumbing & Sewer a call.
