Best Plumbers in District of Columbia

This review is long overdue! I have been a customer of Spadaro over the last 20+ years in 3 different condo locations in Washington, DC. I moved away for 6 years, moved back, and they continue to provide quality service for my plumbing needs. When I have a plumbing issue, I don't search anywhere else. Their professional crew and customer support is always top notch, and they try to be as accommodating as possible when scheduling. I'm now on to issue #2 with a toilet in a condo unit I purchased in 2021 (that isn't more than 6 years old!), so my frustration is mounting but they make it easy to negotiate things I can't handle. From Dave, to Joan, Joe and Jeff (and hope I got the names right), you guys rock and thank you! And, I appreciate everyone I've met and/or talked to over the phone for years at Spadaro.

I want to give a shout out to DJ and #1 DMV Plumbing! My sink clogged up during this freeze we are having. I called #1 DMV Plumbing and talked with DJ. He said it could be due to the frozen weather and gave me some suggestions. He also did he had a full day but would fit me in, and called me back to let me know he had not forgotten. I did what he recommended, and the ice did melt and the clog cleared! I would highly recommend #1 DMV Plumbing!

I am a tenant of a residence that has used Robert E. Clubb & Assoc on two separate occasions. During the first visit, Bob diagnosed issues we were having with our HVAC unit. While he didn't have to, he took the time to explain the issues and subsequent resolutions to me. On the second visit, he completed the repairs. During both occasions, Bob was friendly, professional, and pleasurable to speak with. He was quiet in his work and cleaned up after he was done. I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism of Bob and others I have spoken with at Robert E. Clubb & Associations and would highly recommend them to others.

I called Jenkins plumbing in the afternoon to request assistance with clearing a clogged tub and sink drain. I expected to hear that he would not have any available until the next day, which would have been ok. But, he was able to schedule someone to come out that evening. His service was quick and thorough. I will definitely use Jenkins plumbing again.

Brian replaced my water heater & his price was by far the best, his work was spectacular & his customer service was exceptional!

Thorough work to solve the problem! Was able to come over same day and get drained opened. Joseph was friendly and clear with what he found.

They are the best! Great work at a fair price. Very easy to schedule on your time. They are the only plumbers I will call.

We had an external drain that wasn't draining well. It was uncertain if the pipe had a partial collapse or if it was clogged.

Scott wasn't able to run the normal snake clearing head through the drain, but was able to run the bare snake through it. He talked me through what he was thinking the issues could be. After that, he told me he wasn't satisfied with the results and would try the process again. After several attempts and setbacks, he got the pipe cleared.

Scott went the extra mile and resolved the issue. A lot of people would have said good enough, beyond happy that Scott did the job properly even though it took extra time and effort.

Would recommend them to anyone for any plumping issues you have.

Terrible. The overweight plumber from DH Stevens hung around my house for 5 hours to install two faucets, then charged me $800. Total rip off.

Convenient, Affordable , Experienced

As a private person and a Realtor, I have been very happy with Maurice's (aka Mr. Super Plumber) work. He has rescued me when my AC was out on a hot Friday night when I couldn't find anyone else who would come AND he didn't overcharge me. Maurice is conscientious and honest and is my go-to guy.

Sorry but I was very disappointed with the service and price.

My main complaint is that they didn’t fix the problem and didn’t even do what they said they were going to do to try to fix it.

Beyond that, the price was absurd. They charged $120 for materials for maybe $5 worth of duct sealant (and didn’t even use enough to seal the ducts!)

They charged 12 hours of labor at $90 an hour, but the guys were here for about 2.5 hours, and most of that time was spent waiting for another guy to bring over duct sealant. I called and pointed this out and they reduced it to 6 hours of labor.

They were on-time, very nice, easy to make an appointment. I just don’t know what I got for $800.

The plumbing pipe repair they did at my place was impeccable. The team was courteous and ensured everything was tidy after the job. Great experience!
