I normally never bother to write reviews, but I have to share what was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to warn others of how they may get treated.

In April 2018, I paid in full for Chris to put together plans for my rather large back yard. Contacting him is an extreme pain - do not bother calling their business number as you will get connected with someone who seems like they could care less about your concerns. I emailed Chris roughly 15 times over the past 5 months and called countless times to try to get updates on blown deadlines, which there were 4 of them and countless excuses.

He eventually agreed to come meet at my house to try to right things and talk details of the plan, which came out to be incorrect twice (probably because there was such a long gap between the meeting and when he sent me the next drawing).

Finally in September of 2018, after missing the deadline for the 'final plan' twice, he sends me a drawing with no dimensions, no renderings, no estimates, and no water/power/gas line configurations like I had asked for. When I asked him about it - the drawing is 'to scale'. Now nobody can do any work without converting the plot plans to what a PDF hopefully correctly converts tiny measurements to.

All of this to say, I highly warn anyone who doesn't have money in hand (do not pay in full before the job is done, or this may happen to you too) for a specific job and dimensions ready to go to work with Lone Star. They really need to work on their communication and committing to promises. I am now out almost $2,000 with no workable plan. I am hoping they will now bother to call me and correct this imbalance.

Chad and his crew did an amazing makeover in my backyard! I had a general idea of what I was looking for and showed a few photos to Chad, but that was it. He made some excellent recommendations to me, of things I hadn’t considered, and those suggestions have resulted in a yard I absolutely love! He and his crew were very professional and friendly throughout the entire process - and such hard workers! I am so appreciative of the long days they worked to create my new amazing backyard. The project was completed within the time we discussed thanks to their professionalism and dedication. I will recommend Ground Zero Landscape and Chad Bennett to everyone I know. Someone came out to quote us for our backyard landscape design and then we never got a phone call about the design plan or quote. No one bothered to follow up even after I called. Obviously you've lost our business, and glad too. How unprofessional !

Great company! The only issue I’ve had is that I’ve had to remind them several times to ensure they completely close the gate to my backyard so that my dog doesn’t escape into the neighborhood.

Sal and his team were the best from start to finish. He showed up to give me a quote at the given time (majority of the companies didn't show up at all or came hours after we were supposed to meet without a heads up), received the quote within a few days and started work about 2 weeks later. He was very easy to communicate with about choosing types of products and colors etc prior to starting the work. His team installed irrigation, paver walkway to the backyard, artifical turf, gravel, travertine patio and travertine sitting area for my lounge chairs. Took them about a week to finish. Their work exceeded my expectations and them some! I love my backyard and was so glad Sal was able to see my vision. I highly recommend Sal and his team for all your landscaping needs

I have had trouble with reliable landscapers. I saw them during my neighbours l (which looks amazing) and asked if they would work on my front and back lawns. There was a lot that needed to be done. They fixed my Irrigation, cleaned up the crazy jungle I had going on up front and gave me really pretty grass like my neighbours. I also like that they invoice you and you just click a Botton to pay them. Nice and easy. My last guy I had to pay cash.

Highly recommend! All of the workers were professional and friendly. Landscapers Phoenix company was patient and informative throughout, from the planning stages to the final product. Our new lawn, retaining wall, pavers, and mulching look even better than we imagined!

I hired Landscaping Authority about 5 years ago for a rental house in Tempe since then our tenants are happy with the regular maintenance service since then I don’t get any yard related notices . Very happy with them.

These guys are great! Their estimate was comparable and affordable, their work is clean and high quality, and their employees are very courteous and friendly. Told someone in my neighborhood about them when he asked who did my lawn. Now, he is also a customer. Five stars!

Treats employees and people very badly

I live in a planned community with 1999 homes. Our HOA has been using Xeriscapes since 2007. They provide excellent service, pay attention to detail, and in an emergency, they are available 24/7/365. The company and their employees are a pleasure to have taking care of our common areas. I highly recommend that you give them a call if you are in need of a landscaper.

I have used them for years. Now that my account manager is one of the owners (a son who inherited) my yard looks terrible. I have given them countless opportunities to fix it, but forget it. They are even raising their rates AGAIN!

So done with this company!
