Starting with the estimate process, Chris at Lonestar was transparent in setting up what we could expect from the company from pricing to quality to timing. What I liked most was that he stuck to just what we wanted and only suggested upgrades to specific items when there was a meaningful value add to our project. Because of this, of the 3 estimates we got, it was both the lowest price and best value for what we were looking to accomplish.

There was a short time where we felt a lack of communication between when we paid our scheduling deposit and actually getting on the schedule. The reality is, there's no perfect way to predict when one job ends and the next begins and once we expressed concern over the lack of communication, they were quick to keep us up to date on when our project would start.

The end result is really phenomenal for what we paid. The minor adjustments we asked for after the work was done were taken care of within a day. We got more done for less money than another local landscaper had already done in our yard, and we will certainly reach out to Lone Star first when it's time to do more work.

Groundzero Landscape & Construction has to be one of the most professional and honest company's I have worked with in the Phoenix area. Chad and his crew finished a $100,000+ contract on time and under budget for my commercial manufactured housing community in Mesa. All the feedback from the residents have been nothing but positive. I waited several weeks for Ashton to show up to discuss landscaping and improvements to our pool. Met with him on a Saturday morning and we discussed concepts. I was told that I would be receiving a proposal the following Friday.
Long story short, three weeks and three phone calls later (during which Brandy assured me that my call would be returned), I have thrown in the towel and will be seeking another contractor.
The courtesy of a return call would have been appreciated, even if it was an I'm sorry, we're not interested in bidding your job.
Being ghosted the way we were is a huge disappointment.

Had a great experience working with Sal on my landscaping project, which consisted of installing a plot of artificial grass, paver walkways and stepping stones, and a concrete foundation for a small shed.

Sal was very communicative throughout the entire process. He was able to provide a quote within a few minutes of assessing the job, and was quick with revising the quote when I made a modification to the dimensions of the turf. Sal's quote came in slightly under that of a much larger company that services the Phoenix area.

The work started within 5 days of me approving the quote and was finished after 1 week. I will definitely be reaching out to Sal for any future landscaping projects that come up.

I contacted Big Nicks for a backyard remodel. I asked for a quote. Nick showed up and seemed nice. After multiple texts trying to get a response or a quote I gave up. Big Nick ghosted me and never responded. Very unprofessional. I will not be using this company or recommending them to anyone.

These guys are great. On time. Reasonable. Honest. Cut my palm trees 6/30/19 and cleaned all the mess out of the pool almost like they never were here.
