We contacted Hayward Tree Services to have our large, 20 ft. tall saguaro cactus removed due to the cactus having a disease. The owner Phil came out to assess the saguaro & the next day his crew came out first thing in the morning. They had set up their equipment, cut up the saguaro, removed it with a crane & cleaned up the whole area within 45 minutes. We were so amazed at how safe, efficient & professional they were. I would highly recommend Hayward Tree Services. The owner Phil, is super kind & really knows his business. It was a pleasure working with such a dependable & reputable company. Kudos to a job well done!

I obtained 4 quotes from 4 different tree removal companies to remove 2 large sissoo trees.

Harris & Son's was initially the highest priced, but I did end up choosing them since they were able to price match to one of the less expensive quotes and appeared to be the most professional.

They are also licensed, insured and bonded, which was equally as important.

I communicated mainly with Brittany who was also present to oversee the tree removal. She was professional, fairly responsive and knowledgeable.

Pros:
-Cleaned up their mess along w/ old leaves that were already lying on the ground
-Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable
-Licensed, insured and bonded
-Price matched
-Workers were fast, efficient and appeared to put safety first

Cons: Nothing major but:
-They don't do stump poisoning, so you have to pay and schedule that separately w/ another company (they did provide a recommendation [Custom Weed & Pest Control], but that company rarely answered the phone & I had to leave VMs/keep following up).
-Workers didn't call prior to showing up and they were over an hour earlier than their est time frame window
-Even though the company was responsive, I did have to do some follow-up on things they stated they'd send

My husband hired Radley's Tree Service because of a recommendation of a friend. We have two huge ficus trees that we had Radley's trim for us. These are OLD trees and there was a crew of 4 who worked tirelessly and got our trees looking beautiful. The price was very reasonable for all the work they did. Very professional and prompt. We are extremely pleased! Highly recommend this company. They know what they are doing.

I had PV Trimmers come out and trim 3 palms last year when I first moved into my new house. They did a great job and cleaned up the area really well. However, this year when I went to rebook them to trim the same trees, I reached out via email and was told that I should have already been rebooked by one of their employees last year after the first tree trim, however I had not been. I was then told I would be contacted once they looked at the schedule, that never happened. I reached back out myself via email and asked if they had a spot open....no response. I then called and was asked if my trees trimming cost was over $350. I had to go and look myself, and happened to be $285. I told the person on the phone and they said they will not perform any services for anyone under $350. This would have been nice to know the weeks before when I contacted them in the first place. I was told they would check with the owner since we had already discussed trimming this year, once again no response. In the mean time, I have found someone else to do it and for a better price that was reliable and had a sense of urgency. Be cautious if you are looking for PV Trimmers to do your job. It will be on their own lax schedule and only if you're going to spend a high dollar amount to make it worth their time.

Highly recommend next level tree service, Jesse and his team just left and our tree looks great. Super friendly and really knowledgable. Cleaned up everything. If you need a tree pruned or cut down use an expert which these guys are.

I had a very sick shamel ash tree that needed immediate help. They came out right away and arranged for treatment to start the next day. They also fertilized my other trees and removed a dangerous palm tree. I was extremely pleased with the customer service and Dave is now my tree guy. He has a wonderful crew and I am so happy to have found such awesome arborists. The price was also very reasonable for everything they needed to do.

Update 9-17-2022: As mentioned below, I'm not the type to complain. I just move on. I'm lifting my 1 star review to 3 stars based on the fact that Ops Mgr called me, and stopped by the house to assess the situation and figure out a solution. It would appear they plan on replacing the tree with an acceptable size tree and remove the stump that they were supposed to the first time around. I will update the review once things are squared away. Looks promising......

I really hate to leave a negative review. I'm usually the type of customer that just doesn't come back if I don't like the service. However, this story may be worth listening to. For starters, Brandon came out for a consultation. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I was looking to get an overgrow Mesquite tree trimmed professionally. I ended up getting nutrient tree injections on all trees(4), insect injections and a stump removed. Price was a little more than others had quoted($2300) but this company seemed legit. Now, here is where the story takes a turn for the worse. All services where performed but they ended up cutting down one of my fully grown trees instead of grinding the stump. Whoops! When I contacted Brandon he was very sorry and vowed to fix the situation. When he called me back with the solution they wanted to replace the 20 foot Ash tree they chopped down with a 6ft one. It took 9 years for that tree to get to 20 feet. Obviously, I suggested that wasn't acceptable. He then offered a 7ft tree. Again, not acceptable. He was supposed to get with his boss and come back with a solution. That was 3 weeks ago. I've texted him and he said the office would connect with me. Haven't heard anything. Oh, and did I mention they had no problem charging my card for services not preformed. I did call and complain about the charges and they cancelled the charge. I feel bad that they are at a loss on this situation. I know this was an accident. A measure of a good business is how you handle a crisis. Especially one they created. So far, I'd say D- for Elite Tree Service.
